Happy 20th anniversary, Pokemon!

Man, what a wild ride it's been; trying to very best, like no one ever was...

Catching, training, battling... over the course of 20+ years, and over a decade of many consoles. I haven't stopped, and neither have you! And it keeps going, with Sun & Moon, and the way to play even continues to evolve; with Pokemon GO. What a time to be alive, and a trainer!

Kinda late to the party, but not missing a beat; I wanna share a few of my fave memories from the span of each generation.

Gen 1 - Beating Blue for the first time, and catching Mewtwo; thinking I was top dog, and challenging everyone. I got my butt handed to me, after learning that Mewtwo IS strong, but not the strongest Pokemon ever. A harsh lesson, but had fun, either way. Another fave memory from this gen, is leveling up my Bulbasaur to 100, and evolving it to Venusaur, totally decimating the for Elite 4 Leader; Loriel!

Gen 2 - Not playing the originals; Gold/Silver/Crystal, I came into gen 2 a bit later on, once HeartGold and SoulSilver were released. The Pokewalker was my fave thing to use, and loved the fact that it effected the Pokemon that you placed into it. You could even catch Pokemon within the Pokewalker, itself! Technology is AMAZING!

Gen 3 - I loved EVERYTHING there was about Ruby/Sapphire; me having Sapphire, minus the contests. Then, when the remake came along, I fell in love with the Battle Frontier!

Gen 4 - My fave generation, and the one that got me into online competitive battling. some of my fave memories from here included trying to download all the event Pokemon, creating Poffin with one of my friends online, to help with my contest runs, of course online battling.

Gen 5 - Not too many favorite memories here, but I DID love exploring Castelia City; as it's inspired by New York. Some of the Pokemon had really interesting designs; some weird, some cool, but it was good times.

Gen 6 - And lastly; Gen 6 is when Pokemon embraced fully 3D-powered goodness! Fave moments include experiencing all the online features via the PSS, enjoying playing with my Pokemon through Pokemon-Amie, and seeing the after effects of doing such. The BGM of the many towns and cities were awesome, and so were some of the battle themes.

In closing, who would've thought this series would be so inspirational to trainers of all ages; big or small, or otherwise. I had no clue, but one things for certain...I'll be catchin' 'em all for as long as I live!
Thanks for being there with me, Pokémon , and I hope we get to celebrate another 20 years!

Man, what a blast I had!

I met up with this Nintendo 3DS group of fellow Nintendo/video game fans called StreetPass NYC. They actually have a StreetPass group in just about every major city, in the US. And the only requirement is: just bring a DS of any kind, and have fun.

Pretty simple, right? xP

What they basically do, is meet up for certain events during the month, to chill, play games, talk about upcoming games, and the like, and lucky me, I get the chance to met everybody, and hang with them, at the Mario & Luigi Dream Team launch party at Nintendo World Store(The Epidemy of all things Nintendo, and AWEZUM~ x3).

So as I chilled, and talked to everybody, I remembered that my friend Mark's b-day was this Saturday(The day of said event; August), and that Mario and Luigi themselves (A.K.A Charles Martinet), was speaking to everyone, on the animation screen that they have in the store.

At a certain times, Mario and Luigi show up on this screen, and you can talk to them in-person, as well as they can, with you. So yeah, beforehand, I told Mark I'd ask Mario to wish him a happy birthday, and uh... this is the result~

Too cool, right? Mario actually sung for my friend! BEST. BIRTHDAY PRESENT. EVER!!! And to add, Mario even called him "Bro"! That gave me some feelz, cuz I actually treat Mark as a brother, even thought he isn't, by blood.

Never felt so AWEZUM in my entire life!

Anyway, after I got done with that, I went back outside to chill wit' th' crew. We talked a bit more, played a few StreetPass Plaza games, and played some MarioKart 7. I also had a Pokemon battle on my White 2, with one of the group members. He had a random team, and I came wit' DAT FIYAH!! I lost, but it was a hella good game; 2-0.

Couple hours later, and it was time for the event! They had snacks, and an actual(Suited)appearance of the bros. I wanted to take a pic with them, but I really coulden't stay that long. So I had bought the game, chilled a bit more, then I told everybody good-bye, and that I'll see 'em next time.

And that about sums it all up! Really can't wait for the next get-together! x3

Man... I swear if I could find this punk right now.... He SERIOUSLY needs an ass whuppin' of a lifetime...

Before I start this epic tale of mines, I'm gonna warn ya....I'll be typing EXACTLY how I speak in real life, and I'll use some of my slang talk that I use, online. Which means some things will get a "z" at the end of it, and the like, so

I'll indicate that stuff, and other details with "( )" and " * ", to make it easier for you 'ta understand what I'm talkin'
about, or to indicate if I'm sayin' somethin' witty (lol).

This IS about not only Jei, but the real me, here, so it's only natural that I
type alla this, as if I'm speakin' to you guys directly. So yeah... ON WITH TH' SHOW!

Now... most people, away from the computer mostly know me by my real identity... But my friends online, know me
by my online persona; Jei.

James Daimeon Heirumaru, a.k.a the "Jei-man" a.k.a "the *AWEZUM one" *(My personal spelling of "awesome". It's just one'a those Jei-man things xP), has been my Role-Playing avatar for quite a while, now... He's basically the online version of me. He 'n I, are one and the same, to an extent... BUT! There's a whole lotta stuff I haven't told all you lovely readers out there, about the one 'n only.

There's a whole back story to him, and how he came to be....

Now uh...This story isn't for th' feint-hearted.... If somebody had told ya it was a happy tale, wit' some sappy
ending... someone lied--er... I just totally ripped that offa Spider-Man. (Mega Lulz xD)

No, but seriously, There's tons of things I haven't told ANYBODY about Jei. Real AWEZUM, deep, dark, secret type'a things, with th' secrets, and the darkness, and the deep-ness and stuff...

For those of you who wondered about the AWEZUM-ness that is Jei, then you're in for one hellluva journey! For
those that didn't.... You guys suck (LMAO xD)

No, seriously, you guys are invited, too. I want EVERYBODY to read this, and enjoy this roller coaster ride of pure

Now then! Let's go back... BACK TO MY PAST! 10,000,000 YEARS AGO! ....Ok, not that far back... that's like back wit' dinosaurs (Raaaaaawr~ x3) 'n th' Flintstones and whatnot (xD)

Let's try goin' back to my younger years, say like around when I was 11. Yeah, that's good, that'll work!

Now picture it! A young lad, in his teens. Goofin' around, eatin' all kind'sa junky food-ie type stuff, playin' video
games, all that pre teen type stuff, wit' the puberty, and the voice deepening, and the zits, 'n what haveya....

...You guys picturin' it yet? ...No? *Groans* Ok, fiiiiiiiine, I'll wait...

....How about now?

....Y'know anytime before Christmas of 2050 would be good... > >;

This was back when I had first created Jei... But he wasn't what he was, now... He was... a SUPERHERO!

Yep.

That's right.

A superhero!

But minus the tights, and leapin' over tall buildings in a single bound, and all that othea DC Justice League type'a
bullstuff...

He was known... as the Cartoon Surfer. Yeah, I know, corny as hell, but hey... I was young, so save your criticism for
th' movies, huh?

Anywayz* *(Yeah, I add z's to almost everything I type, 'cuz Z's are AWEZUM. xP), so yeah, I got this superhero type dude, as my personal avatar, and he; in my imaginative world, enters the realm of cartoon shows, anime,
whatever, and joins them in their adventure.

As he does, in specific shows 'n stuff, he would also GAIN the powers/abilities/etc of the characters. THAT, was his super power.

Back then, I; as in Jovan, would also write a couple'a stories about him. Basic stuff. Not like novels, or anything
Yeah, you heard me... I was a writer. I wrote alot. None of my stories got completed, though... I actually found
writing to be boring, even though, I was pretty good, back in my hay day....

But I digress... Back then, he was only a superhero, and lived in my imagination...

Now, fast-forward a few years! The years of chat rooms!

This was when I started molding Jei Haomaru* *(His name, before his current one; last name of a character from
Samurai Spirits/Showdown, of the same name from which I borrowed for a bit), into the most AWEZUM-est dude to
ever have walked this new, barely inhabited territory; James Daimeon Heirumaru, or Jei*, for short *(This, is also
my real-life nickname, but it's spelled J-a-y).

Now about that nickname of "Jei"... I figured if I used my real name, it woulden't look as cool, so I made it look
kinda asian-ish, since my character is based on anime.

Anyways, so yeah, here comes the internet and the many chat rooms that followed. It was then that I picked up on
Role-Playing, and how to type para and semi-para, and th' like. Now THIS is when Jei crossed the threshold and
became my original character or OC, as us young'ins call it, for chat rooms (You ol' foggies xDDD).

This is also where I got rid of his previous endeavors, and started fresh.

He was no longer that ol' superhero of yore, that I made up those many years ago; but now, a realm-wandering martial-artist shaman* *(Based from Shaman King.

I was really into that show/anime/manga, so I made Jei into one). I had stopped writing stories completely, and
instead, brought him to "life" within the many chat rooms I've visited back then...

And here we are today!

Jei doesn't visit many chat rooms as he used to back then... but he is now EVERYWHERE! He's your best friend on
Facebook, following/watching your many artwork/journal postings on DeviantArt, and the like, and even instant
messaging you on the many Instant Messengers of teh interwebz!

He's hip!

He's cool!

He's totally AWEZUM, and majorly ROCKS OUT LOUD!

He's th' one 'n only James "The Jei-man" Heirumaru!

And I'm proud to say that he is I, and I am him!


In closing, I; as in the REAL me; as in Jovan, wanna thank all you lovely, B-E-A-utiful readers out there that gave
this a good read, and hope you all enjoyed reading this as I much as I typin' it all up! I felt that I should share some
of Jei's history with alla you, so you can know a love how AWEZUM he is! (x3)

No seriously though, this was a test* to see if i could get back into writing some more stuff up again, and looks like
this year, is the perfect year for it, since i've been havin' this on th' back burner for a good while,and as of this year,
been inspired to write more AWEZUM stories! *(It also looks I passed this test, wit' flyin colors, don'tcha think? x3)

Following this, will be a couple'a short stories involving Jei, his Pokemon, and even a alternate future of him;
who's even a furry, 'ta boot!
