Halo 2 vs. Half Life 2
Posted 18 years agoFirstly, thanks for the overwhelmignly positive response to my last journal, really ment alot to me ^v^
Anyway, I'm here today to compare 2 games, Halo 2 and Half Life 2.
I love Halo 2, but I like Half Life 2 better.
Let me explain why:
Graphics:
Halo: Impressive but not up to par IMO. While it was an improvement over Halo, it still has to be worked over a bit more. THe on-the-fly rendering relly bugged me as well.
Half Life 2: *drool* When I first played the game I was shocked, I never realised how amazing they were. Episode 1 improved on it, and I actually started comparing THE REAL WORLD to Half Life 2 Episode 1's graphics, needless to say they were alot alike.
AI:
Halo: Pretty simple. Shoot, die, repeat. Brute's AI was impressive for the melle attacking, but not much. Flood's AI was just annoying.
Half Life 2: The AI continues to amaze me. With each improvement it gets more lifelike. I loved the Combine soldiers could duck and still fire in Episode 1. In the previews for Episode 2 when Freeman threw a grenade at the soldier, he threw it BACK, and I was floored.
Story:
Halo: Weak backstory. THe covenant is in a holy war with the humans but they don't explain why. Their movites are for the most part still mysterious. The great journey? WTF is that, I don't get it. And the civil war makes sense, but untimatly looks like a badly placed plot device.
Half Life 2: Even though it's only told through Freeman's eyes and therefore biased, it's still engaging. You get to really know the characters, mainly Alyx, and it's alot more fun coming into the world without being told whats going on, and having to find out yourself.
If this were Hollywood, I think in the end Half Life 2 would win best picture while Halo 2, as much as it pains me to say this, would just be a big-budget action movie with a story that goes nowhere.

Firslty we must set the record straight.
Contrary to what you may belive I am not 18 or older. I am 16.
But everything else about me is true. I like space, weather, and tickles. I am a republican, I live in Michigan, and I drive a green box on wheels.
And to those saying "OMG 16PERV" 16 is the age of consent in Michigan, so it's all good. :)
Now then, I would like to tell you all about my life. This is the first autobiography I ever wrote, and I'm wirting it on a furry porn site XD.
I was born at 0915 on December 24, 1990 in Detroit, Michigan. 3 months premature I spent about a month in an incubator. I have no recollection of thsoe events, and don't want one either XD.
I grew up in Waterford, in a house by a lake. I had many good times there, and I stil lremember bits and peices. Namely my room, and the pinball machine in the basement XD.
On February 12, 1992 my brother was born. Also premature he had surgery after he was born to correct a damaged stomach wall. I quickly got used to the fact that there was another person in my life.
During this time, I became interested in space. It all started when I went out one night and looked at the moon. I asked my father what it was, and he said it was the moon. I started planning on how to get there.
I knew the names of the planets before I could walk. At my preschool I rambled on about space facts, even if no one listened XD.
In 1994 several events happened that changed my life. First I went to Flordia to visit reletives. There I went to the Kennedy Space Center, and Disneyworld for the first time. I have alot of pics of me by rockets, including the Saturn V.
On a dark and stormy night, a Tornado passed near my home. My father took me outside, and it was frightening. The wind was blowing, the sky was all black, and the rain, sirens, and thunder added to the fear. Regardless I soon became interested in weather, which by chance or design goes hand in hand with space.
On November 26, 1994 my sister was born. Born right on time, she became another person in the lives of me and my brother.
In 1995, we moved to Troy for reasons still unknown. We quickly adapted to the city-like surroundings.
On March 5, 1996 my sister was born. She would be out last chick as my mother had her tubes tied soon after.
As I progressed through Elementary school, I began to question the world around me. Was there really more than there was to the world, or was is all just so boring like this. With the advent of the internet, my search for answers intensified.
On August 11, 1999 on the top of a mountain in Bar Harbor, Maine I witnessed the last total solar eclipse of the milennium. The crecent-shaped sun rose over the atlantic ocean in an amazing sight.
In 2000, my family drove all the way to California and back. It was the single greatest vacation of my life, and hope to do it agian someday with some friends.
For new years eve, we went to NYC for the ball drop. It was a thrilling night, and I met Vanessa Williams, how cool is that?!
In the summer of 2001, we went to Washington D.C. While there me and my father went on tours of the Capitol, the FBI building, and even the white house (which is a very nice place.) Also stopping at arlington, notably the grave of JFK.
Weeks later on September 11, 2001 my 5th grade calss was informed the school was going into lockdown because of a "serious accident in New York." I was called to the main office to go home, and I saw the TV with the smoking NYC skyline and the caption "Attack on America." My father explained how terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center and hit the Pentagon, and showed me footage. I have sworn never to forget that day.
In June 2002, I graduated 5th grade. We were sacred abot going to middle school (Junior high to the rest of y'all) but we were ready. In a somewaht ironic fashion, there was a sunset eclipse of the sun that same day. After the ceremonies, me and some friends went out to see it.
From 2002-2005 I attended Middle School. I hit pubertly like all of us do and had my first crush. She was (and is) very attractive, but is also in fact a democrat.
Around this time I learned I had a form of Autism called Aspergers Syndrome. Aspergers is where the brain is larger than normal, and social skills are affected. I am happy to say I have improved on my social skills.
I also started to get into the furry fandom at this time. I met my first online friends, and eventually re-invented myself as Ring Of Fire, aka Helios Eusebio.
After graduating in 2005, I moved on to High School. Today I am a Sophomore and I just got my report card back. I have a 3.5 GPA. My goal is to get a 4.0 (All A's) in this last marking period.
I also became an active member in my community by joining the youth council, and the police explorers. I do community service at some events, and also get an inside look at what's going on in my city.
Around this time though, my internet life started spiraling out of control. A friend of mine started acting all weird and did something stupid, well we both did, and they're partly the reason I'm writing this. They told the admins I was underage, and subsequently I was uploading X-rated SL screens.
I felt pressured because now someone could just find out I was udnerage. I fet like somone had pointed a nuclear missile at me, and their finger was on the button. That's why I'm writing this now. It's time to take some action and get the truth out once and for all.
I am not doing this because I was bullied, I am not being a pussy.
I feel now this has gotten too close to reality. In this world of lies, how do you know who's telling the truth?
I felt pressured when I discovered that my SL screens had caused an upraor on the forums. I decided to end this web of lies once and for all, something I shouldv'e done a long time ago. I am sorry for any distress I have caused anyone, and I take full responsibility for my actions.
I know the most likely and logical reaction, and I do fear it, but I am willing to accept it. I am not going to hide behind this mask anymore, I am going to face justice.

It dosen't seem fair it should all end like this, but it is. For years I lied to and decived people to satisfy my desires, and I apologized to no one. But now I am finished, and the truth will set me free.
That's why I'm doing this. I don't want anyone to think of me as just some stupid kid who wanted something to paw off to late at night. It's a habit of mine, I always make sure someone's last memory of me is better than their first.
In conclusion there is no embellishment to this journal because it needs none. It's simply, the tale of my life as a teenage phoenix.

What's with Helios? *RANT*
Posted 19 years agoThose that saw my Election journals realize I REALLY don't like the US Democratic party.
So you're probably wondering why? What could possibly make me hate them?
Well I got alot of beefs with them, but I'll list some of the most important ones here:
1. Iraq
2. Abortion
3. Gay Marriage
4. Space program
1. Iraq: This is kinda a double-edged sword here as I believe that neither party has a good handle on it. As a line in one of my favorite songs said "Nobody's right, if everybody's wrong".
However, I think that Dems have a worse handle then Repubs.
Basically Dems want us out of Iraq ASAFP (As Soon As Fucking Possible)
Why? Cause they have no plan.
The only thing they call a plan is a strategy called "cut and run" it works like this:
Step 1. Terrorists attack US
Step 2. We send in Soldiers
Step 3. We kill Terrorist leader
Step 4. We immediately pull out, not bothering to make the country better, giving Terrorists time to regroup.
And before you can say Step 5: They attack AGAIN and the cycle repeats.
See? No work!
Dems are also making themselves look bad, by wanting to pull our troops out they're like the whiny moms that don't let their kids do anything until they're 35 because they're afraid they'll get hurt.
The brave men and women of our armed forces joined for a reason, to protect our country, and sadly we can't do that without blood being spilled!
Another thing: A lot of people died in WWI, WWII, and other wars, and no one really cared.
SO WHY ARE WE MAKING A BIG FUCKING DEAL EVERY TIME SOMEONE IS SHOT IN IRAQ?!
I mean being KIA is a horrible thing, but does it help the families of the soldier that died to have his/her name splashed across every TV screen in America?!
This is just the Dems way of saying "Get Bush out of office or your kids will die!"

2. Abortion:
Dems support the Satanic process of Abortion.
For those who don't know, Abortion is the process of killing an unborn child.
This is where they contradict themselves.
They don't want our troops to die in Iraq, but they say it's PERFECTLY ok to kill a child who hasn't even been BORN?!
Don't get me wrong, if the girl was raped, then it's ok, but otherwise, FUCK OFF!
This is also the Dems way of saying "HEY EVERYONE! GO HAVE SEX! "
What are you Dems?! ON DOPE?!
What happened to Sex being FOR something, and not OF something?
Don't get me wrong, I like to yiff (online mind you :P) but I always make it so my partner (should they be female) doesn't get pregnant. IRL I choose abstinence until the time is right, IRL I want sex to be for something, and not of something.
3. Gay Marriage:
Not as big of a beef, but still:
If you're gay, don't wed.
As far as being gay goes, in the words of Jerry Seinfeld: "Not that there's anything wrong with that"
I believe that gays and lesbians are people just like you and me, they just happen to love someone different than we usually love.
But they can't wed.
Now you might think I'm contradicting myself, by saying "You like Gays but not Gay marriage"
Well I thought about this and here it is:
God loves all his children, may they be rich, poor, gay, straight, bi, he loves you.
If you're in love with someone of the same sex, go ahead and date them.
But you can't wed.
Why? It's all for the species.
The lord said marriage is for "One man and one woman" for a reason: Not because he hates Gays, but because he wants us to survive.
How do you create a human? There's about 10 ways but a popular one is Sex with one male and one female.
And sorry, but 1 male and 1 male, or 1 female and 1 female can't make a baby.
This is why we can't have same sex parents. Besides think of the kids if they adopt some. They'll have to go through their whole lives being confused, wondering why they have 2 mommies or daddies.
So if you're gay, don't wed you're partner, but I encourage you to continue to love them.
4. Space Program:
My biggest beef.
Now that Dems control congress, they'll try anything to axe NASA
The Irony is that back in the 60's the DEMS championed NASA and the REPUBS wanted to axe it. John F. Kennedy is my favorite President, and one of 2 Dems I actually like, the other being FDR (who doesn't like FDR :P)
When Nixon was in office (a disgrace to all Repubs and Presidents) he axed 3 Moon landings, and was THIS *holds wings as close together as I can without them touching* close to axing the shuttle and NASA because it was a "Democrat thing" and the brainchild of his arch enemies, Kennedy and Johnson.
Then one of his aides told him the Shuttle could capture Russian sats and bring them back to Earth. Nixon thought that was pretty cool, so he approved the Shuttle.
When Regan was in Office, he outlined plans for a Space Station, and a trip to Mars, and Bush Sr. had a plan to get us back to the Moon in 1990, AND build a base there!
Then Clinton was elected, what happens?

So you're probably wondering why? What could possibly make me hate them?
Well I got alot of beefs with them, but I'll list some of the most important ones here:
1. Iraq
2. Abortion
3. Gay Marriage
4. Space program
1. Iraq: This is kinda a double-edged sword here as I believe that neither party has a good handle on it. As a line in one of my favorite songs said "Nobody's right, if everybody's wrong".
However, I think that Dems have a worse handle then Repubs.
Basically Dems want us out of Iraq ASAFP (As Soon As Fucking Possible)
Why? Cause they have no plan.
The only thing they call a plan is a strategy called "cut and run" it works like this:
Step 1. Terrorists attack US
Step 2. We send in Soldiers
Step 3. We kill Terrorist leader
Step 4. We immediately pull out, not bothering to make the country better, giving Terrorists time to regroup.
And before you can say Step 5: They attack AGAIN and the cycle repeats.
See? No work!
Dems are also making themselves look bad, by wanting to pull our troops out they're like the whiny moms that don't let their kids do anything until they're 35 because they're afraid they'll get hurt.
The brave men and women of our armed forces joined for a reason, to protect our country, and sadly we can't do that without blood being spilled!
Another thing: A lot of people died in WWI, WWII, and other wars, and no one really cared.
SO WHY ARE WE MAKING A BIG FUCKING DEAL EVERY TIME SOMEONE IS SHOT IN IRAQ?!
I mean being KIA is a horrible thing, but does it help the families of the soldier that died to have his/her name splashed across every TV screen in America?!
This is just the Dems way of saying "Get Bush out of office or your kids will die!"
You Dems are just trying to get back at Bush because we impeached Clinton!
Keep this in mind, we could've gone in and caught Bin Laden and stopped 9/11 from even happening!

2. Abortion:
Dems support the Satanic process of Abortion.
For those who don't know, Abortion is the process of killing an unborn child.
This is where they contradict themselves.
They don't want our troops to die in Iraq, but they say it's PERFECTLY ok to kill a child who hasn't even been BORN?!
Don't get me wrong, if the girl was raped, then it's ok, but otherwise, FUCK OFF!
This is also the Dems way of saying "HEY EVERYONE! GO HAVE SEX! "
What are you Dems?! ON DOPE?!
What happened to Sex being FOR something, and not OF something?
Don't get me wrong, I like to yiff (online mind you :P) but I always make it so my partner (should they be female) doesn't get pregnant. IRL I choose abstinence until the time is right, IRL I want sex to be for something, and not of something.
3. Gay Marriage:
Not as big of a beef, but still:
If you're gay, don't wed.
As far as being gay goes, in the words of Jerry Seinfeld: "Not that there's anything wrong with that"
I believe that gays and lesbians are people just like you and me, they just happen to love someone different than we usually love.
But they can't wed.
Now you might think I'm contradicting myself, by saying "You like Gays but not Gay marriage"
Well I thought about this and here it is:
God loves all his children, may they be rich, poor, gay, straight, bi, he loves you.
If you're in love with someone of the same sex, go ahead and date them.
But you can't wed.
Why? It's all for the species.
The lord said marriage is for "One man and one woman" for a reason: Not because he hates Gays, but because he wants us to survive.
How do you create a human? There's about 10 ways but a popular one is Sex with one male and one female.
And sorry, but 1 male and 1 male, or 1 female and 1 female can't make a baby.
This is why we can't have same sex parents. Besides think of the kids if they adopt some. They'll have to go through their whole lives being confused, wondering why they have 2 mommies or daddies.
So if you're gay, don't wed you're partner, but I encourage you to continue to love them.
4. Space Program:
My biggest beef.
Now that Dems control congress, they'll try anything to axe NASA
The Irony is that back in the 60's the DEMS championed NASA and the REPUBS wanted to axe it. John F. Kennedy is my favorite President, and one of 2 Dems I actually like, the other being FDR (who doesn't like FDR :P)
When Nixon was in office (a disgrace to all Repubs and Presidents) he axed 3 Moon landings, and was THIS *holds wings as close together as I can without them touching* close to axing the shuttle and NASA because it was a "Democrat thing" and the brainchild of his arch enemies, Kennedy and Johnson.
Then one of his aides told him the Shuttle could capture Russian sats and bring them back to Earth. Nixon thought that was pretty cool, so he approved the Shuttle.
When Regan was in Office, he outlined plans for a Space Station, and a trip to Mars, and Bush Sr. had a plan to get us back to the Moon in 1990, AND build a base there!
Then Clinton was elected, what happens?

Now then today is the last beautiful day we may have for a while. Tomorrow is the mid-term Elections in the United States.
Right now it's causing me a great deal of pain to see that my beloved state of Michigan is looknig to elect Dems agian, keeping the same FOOLS in office.
See we know who the real losers are. The Democrats.
Yet they have an almsot messanic reputation since 2001.
Their figures are synonymous with the darkest urges of instinct, ignoracne, and decay. They are the losers, wimps, morons.
But unsophisticated minds embue them with romantic power, and are about to give them the Senate and the House.
Make no mistake.
If Dems take control of Congress, and force Bush to employ a cut-and-run stratagy in the Mideast...
Another 9/11 WILL happen.
Not might, WILL.
Face it you Dem losers. Your cut-and0run stratgy DOES NOT FUCKING WORK, along with all your other policies.

A rocket park is what it sounds like, park with alot of rockets.
This one is the International Spaceflight museum or along those lines, it's spaceport alpha in SL grid.
This place is really cool (Sym there's one part especially you might just like)

I've been busy in my absence, matters require my upmost attention, don't worry there is no cheating.

Well there I'm gone, I move along now, just a roadblock in your life.
But it's on your conscience.
You are all so alike, eager to see me fail because I have a normal life. You see in me the unlimited future you once had.
Because you are all "has-beens", I must be a "never-was"?
I'll do more with your names than you ever will.
I apologize for the arbitrary actions I commited, but why now do you bring this up?
I don't know what I ever saw in them.
I hope they come back to you, they would be making a huge mistake otherwise, but I probably cemented that from happening didn't I?

Posted 19 years agoWell firstly on a lighter note, I'm obessed with the song "Floorfiller" by the late and great A*Teens, you can retrace that to 
purity flash animation, no matter how random it was XD, and am I the only one that thinks that the clip of the song is in perfect synch with the icons of her and her freinds?
Anyway I jsut saw World Trade Center, the second movie on 9/11 starring Nicholas Cage
I saw United 93 as well, that movie had me in tears and I left speechless and stunned, trying to convince myself that it never happened, I didn't think I'd get that same reaction here.
Well I did
To be honest I was in tears for most of the film, there was some funny moments here and there, but it is a powerful and moving film.
My poor sister sitting next to me had to cover her eyes when the towers were coming down.
The fil will make you feel alot of things, the hoor at their situation, the sadness about all who died, and anger at the bastards that did this.
America used to be a country that was all about Law and Order and peace, always following the rules and giving everyone a chance.
Then some maniacs fly planes into buildings and all the rules change.
Now I'm glad we're in the mideast
Cause I'm sick of being a victim, I think it's time we make some rules.
Everyone should read a text file by

What happend was that the power supply died. So I tried to fix it. I was banging on it to shake the dust loose...while the PC was on. I guees you know whta hppaned right?
YES! ZZTT! IT BLEW UP!!
Sooo I got a new power supply and put it in. I'm restoring my PC now. I'll most likely be on during the weekends.
So yes I'll be back on SL, and I'll be able to talk to Sym and Witermist, and my other friends I've missed so much ^v^

Fic I'm working on
Posted 19 years agoThis is a fic I'm working on and I need some chars, read on.
I'm currently starting a series of fics called "So Dark the con of Man". It has nothing to do with The DaVinci Code. But it's a videogame fic, a tickle fic, and a transformation fic all in one.
The basic outline is that it'll be set in the universe of the HL2 mod Dystopia. A coporation called Datatrust will have taken over the Pokemon islands, and well quite frankly industrialized them.
They establish a rule over the lands, and are looking to advance world-wide.
There's a rebel faction however called "Nova" that wishes to overthrow them. No easy task.
In the story, several installments will have certain chars captured, tickle stripped, and transformed by Datatrust, all for the glorification of their massive ego.
Now here's where I need help. I need char's people!
I need chars to kinda star in the fics.
Now the chars that star will be some of the ones that are captured by Datatrust, so keep that in mind.
If you wish to have your char in the story anyway, please contact me.
And if you are on IM alot, I'll will role-play some of the fics with you, and turn them into the stories, in order to try to make this story as authentic as possible.

Vacation
Posted 19 years agoWell I solved some of my PC problems.
On SL today, me and Sym discussed how SL kept crashing
So I updated my video card, that didn't help.
Finally I found the problem. A bunch of USB ports were sharing the same IRQ level, so I disabled them (who needs them? ~v^) and now my PC works alot better.
So tomorrow I'll be going on vacation for a few days. I'll miss you all and think of ya.

Life of the Phoenix

For one thing, my PC has been gone for a month now, I'm on a laptop that can't support Second Life, I have nothing to do, I miss Sym, I miss Wintermist, and some bastard broke into my car.
On the other wing, I have an Xbox 360, several games for it, a subscription to Xbox live, and I'm hopelessly addicted.
I also was up till 4am last night watching The Chronicles of Narnia. That movie is awesome, I loved the final battle, mainly the Gryphon bombing run XD
So ya there ya go

Posted 19 years agoAfter a long day I wnet on Second Life last night. For one thing the time difference confuses meh O.O
So I met up with Sym_Gryphon, who wanted to show hir uber floofy self. Shi wasn't kidding either! So I spent most of the time there with hir and hir mate. I was gonna shop for a Phoenix avatar, but my internet connection died.
At my nest, things have a habit of dieng at the worst possible moments XP
So I'm gonna be on today. Trying out the stuff that I got buried wtih lol.

Posted 19 years agoOk so I got an account on Second life under the name Helios Eusebio. I got it under my own will....ok so yea Sym_Gryphon's pics convinced me a whole lot BUT STILL! XP
Soo yea, I'm looking for advice on some things, one of them is how to get a Phoenix avatar....I think you gotta use poser or something....
