I've also started thinking over something recently. I might start making use of same day commissions a little more going forward. I find doing them the same day and having the commissioner on text chat to give updates to instantly as I go really does help me to keep on track. I might make use of these a few days out of every month to pay for rent and other necessities while making sure that none of that work starts to pile up on the list again and causing the same bad cycle I've been in these past few months. So I'm a little broke after rent and throwing out a few refunds for some larger projects so I'll be taking about two on the spot commissions just to pay for food for the time being. These will be done within the week at the latest and they can be anything you'd like since there's no sale restriction this time around. Alsoooooo I haven't forgotten that it's april fools day so I'm happy to announce that this account will be going from a general kink and shiny affair to strictly moss-based artwork. Sexy, sexy moss. So I've been thinking about this as of late and as necessary as it feels it also bothers me: It's no secret that I've been backed up for roughly a year now and it'll also be of no surprise that I've tried to keep my list down several times but never really got it to stick. As awesome and patient as everyone has been with me it still isn't right to keep you all waiting as long as you have and I've been having waves of anxiety over it as of late. That's why I regret to say that I'll likely be talking with my commissioners one on one about refunds. I don't know who or how many but it's something I feel I need to do. The recent sarcophagus sale did extremely well with still more interested customers wanting in on the eventual second wave of sarcophagi; so I'm currently set to make a few refunds and still manage to pay for necessities for the next month or so. I apologize to those that I do refund. I know you might have been waiting a long while for your commissioned work but I can say that this doesn't rule out ever doing them again. In fact, you might not have to wait long to commission whatever you initially got from me again. This is ultimately just so I can reduce my anxiety and pace myself a little more. That being said, I'll be talking to commissioners on my own but if you were willing to discuss a refund you can go ahead and throw me a note. Though do keep in mind that I can only refund so many at one time so some might need to wait or larger projects might need to be shrunk rather than entirely refunded.


That aside, I've been in talks with a few people about getting the patreon comic up and running again. I'll likely refrain from putting anything on patreon for roughly a month until I can figure out what I'm doing with it and to get back into the rhythm of drawing comics again. I'm aiming to have this be a short story format with weekly one page updates (Though I don't want to promise too much while it's still in the concept phase) But I will be doing some commissioned comic work in the meantime just to give people an idea of what comics from me are gonna look like.

That won't mean I'll be stopping commission work, of course. At least not for a long while if ever. I'll be focusing more on well thought out sales and trying to pace myself on a monthly basis. I'll also be getting back on saving money in case anything urgent comes up in the future just so I wont have to take on a bunch of work I can't keep up with to pay for it. All of this is in an effort to be more professional with my work. I've been doing this for over three years now so it seems only appropriate that I learn to do my job better.


Sooooo hows about something less serious to cap things off?: breath of the wild! If you follow my twitter you'll likely know that I've been pretty into it lately. I'd have to disagree with it being one of the bestest games ever forever and ever but I've still thoroughly enjoyed my time none the less. It really does feel like a modern take on the kinda gray-around-the-edges 3D zelda format that uses modern open world design ideas but uses a few new ones of it's own. Plus that gerudo outfit is so fab :v

So progress has been a bit slow unfortunately. Whenever I start making some progress I have to take on some more work to pay for necessities. I might start moving away from sales just a bit and see how I can fare by just opening comms on certain intervals and keeping the subject open to whatever the commissioner might want. That isn't to say there won't be sales anymore, just ones that are a bit less frequent but a bit more fleshed out. I'll also be trying to work on patreon comics again. Most likely with some kind of week or two advance preview for patrons of a certain level along with sketch PSDs and the usual patreon business. I'll be sure to make it as non-exclusive as I can since I also dislike some of the more paywally approaches to patreon.


Buuuut that aside, rent's coming up and I feel like some sissification/bimboification/all things excessively pretty. As usual, you can note me if you're interested and we can discuss some possibilities if ideas are limited. I'll do two single pics at $50 each and one three part sequence at $150.

So I'm taking a break today to do some more experimental ideas. This time I didn't want to make a big sale of it or anything so I'll just be sketching whatever I fancy. Unfortunately money's starting to get tight and apparently I might need to go see an optometrist. I had a feeling all this staring at screens was probably gonna start effecting me. Comm work's all done for today but I'm still in a bit of a drawing mood. The weird stuff comp I did recently has me wanting to fiddle with clothing TF a little more so I think I'll play around with that if anybody wants to take me up on the offer. Not really sure how I'd do it or anything but working stuff out as we go with the commissioner seems to work well and it's a lot of fun. Though do keep in mind that this is one of the subjects that I can get a bit picky with so I apologize in advance if something just doesn't really float my boat.

I liked what I saw.


I wasn't expecting the release date to be so damn soon so I might have to pass on getting it on day one so long as breath of the wild on wii u doesn't have any particular downsides. Plus I feel the poor thing deserves a decent sendoff. I'm also one of the like five people who really wanted to see something from fire emblem warriors since I love that particular sub genre of murdering lots of things and getting shinies from it. Super mario Odysseeyyyyy hm....I will say I am quite curious. I know there's a lot of sonic adventure/ 06 jokes going around but I honestly think it looks fine based on what I saw. Nintendo's managed to give everything a certain charm even if it all doesn't quite look like it fits. I could do without the giant banjo kazooey eyes on Mario's new hat though....

Also Xenoblade 2 /.o./ I never gave the proper time to the first one due to feeling like I was doing the game's environment design a disservice by playing it on the severely paired down 3ds version. Xenoblade X was a collection of really good ideas marred by some very questionable design choices in the places the last game was known the most for.

So all in all I am excited to see what they ultimately do with the switche's big gimmicks but the opening lineup seems so strong that I'll likely be picking it up regardless.

And I am feeling pretty sore after my nap. I might have caught something on the way here....


But that's beside the point, I'll be continuing to focus on getting my list shrunk down over the next month or two. If I've made good progress by then, I was going to be trying out a new format based around more fleshed out sales every month or so instead of every week or two. As I've mentioned in the past, if you had any work going with me and you wanted to get some updates please feel free to note me.

So that'll be one new years resolution. The next obvious ones are eat better, get out more, ect. ect. all that fun stuff. I also want to look into going to a few cons this year. So with crimbus finally over and with changes on the horizon, I thought I'd do another weird stuff compilation to let off some steam before diving back into normal comm work.

For those of you who don't know: I sometimes do these compilations to break out of what I normally do to draw a subject I've never touched before or have rarely touched in the past. I'll open up to notes and take comms based around these ideas and put them all in a compilation. Though it goes without saying that there are still restrictions in regards to what I still won't do (check my comm sheet info for a list on that topic) just to avoid the awkwardness of a conversation being ended abruptly. Also, here's some ideas I've been wanting to do as of late as a possible jumping-off point:

deflation (Of the pooltoy variety. Blame a certain suited cat for getting me into it)
cerbeus fusing (An intriguing idea that I've also wanted to do)
Limbless dolls (A kind of divicive one that gets very weird for me as well with the wrong context but is fun none the less)

Thought I'd finally make one. I'll probably use this to just goof off in ways that feel more appropriate on twitter rather than tumblr. I might also make it a place where I post sketches, linearts, ect. Just so people can see what I'm working on in between completed posts on my usual art handles.

So after a long flight and an equally long cab drive during a very sudden snowstorm, I've arrived back in Ontario to visit my family for a little while. I'm not entirely sure how things will go in terms of my productivity, I still plan on getting all the christmas gifts I planned on making done but I've talked about how chaotic it can get around here many times before. I'll also just be busy doing things with the family in general. As always, if anybody who has work going with me would like an update of any kind please feel free to message me.

For now I'm thinking I'll go forward with the pokedex entry idea I had cooked up as a small something to still do in conjunction with sun and moon coming out. The rest I think I'll try and flesh out for another time down the road.

Okay! So if you've attended my streams you might know that I've talked about doing a pokemon sale like eight times now. I wanted to make a proper event of this one with a little banner and everything, but I had some ideas I wanted to try out and also give a drawn example of each of them. That's why I've decided to do a pre-emptive single slot type deal for each of these.


The ideas go like this:


Evolutionary line:

Pretty simple. A suiting or TFing of a character representing each stage of an evolutionary line that's either two stage, three stage, or either with a mega form.

Pokedex entry:

A mockup of a pokedex entry of a suited or TF'd character. Complete with stats, light description, footprint and so forth.


Pokefashion show:

A character is willingly or forced to go up on stage and pose for the crowd in any assortment of accessories one could want.


Legendary forms:

I was dabbling with the idea of having a single slot for each of the new legendaries introduced this gen. Each being a single pic at either mid-tf or end result. Possibly with those victims going around and causing the other situations that will come from this sale.
