So ready to donate my mouth...
General | Posted 16 years agoJust take it, take it and burn it... Another infection... bottom left. Apparently it healed over something and got infected. So the surgeon dude hit me with a shot of numby stuff and had to slice the gum back open, clean it out, and put the clove-soaked medicine thingy in there too. It seems my luck has not improved since high school...
And it gets better....
General | Posted 16 years agoDRY SOCKET INFECTION!.... W....T....F?!
For those of you that don't know what that is, it's when they remove a tooth and the blood clot comes out exposing BARE BONE. Well, your bones don't really like that... So, it gets really painful and really swollen. That's why I've been having the pain in my lower right hole thingy. So I went in to have them handle it and what do they do? THEY SHOVE A SQUIRTY THING INTO THE SOCKET to flush it out and then take another squirty thing full of anti-biotics and shove that in too. But that's not all, no, they take this little strip of what looks like cloth and shove that in the hole. It's got some medicine that not only numbs on contact with moisture but tastes HEAVILY of cloves. Just cloves... can you say... EW? They kinds missed at first with the strip and so half my tongue and lip went numb so I got to walk out drooling like a little kid into a tissue. This was yesterday. I had to get the strip replaced today and I have to go back one more time tomorrow. Yay summer.... TT___TT

Wisdom freakin Teeth
General | Posted 16 years agoSo I got my wisdoms removed the day before yesterday and my interest in pretty much everything has dwindled to a "will it hurt my teeth" sort of thought process. Eating... out... can barely swallow without some sort of dull and/or unfair "ZOMG I hate my life" pain response. Pretty much the only comfort I find is sleeping... Of course that goes away as soon as my eyes open. It's even worse when you're brother's a musician who, although he hasn't seen you at all that day and can't put together you might be out COLD in your room, decides to invite a friend over so that they can play their guitars impossibly loud with only about 3 feet between your rooms.
Now I'm not one to stand in the way of musical progress, but... when you work at before and after daycare for a summer program with small children, you tend to want to SLEEP UNDISTURBED by even an EVP of a ghost sneezing... so believe me when I say I am LESS than happy about that.
Now to the point of my even writing about this... Anyone who's gotten their wisdoms removed: what sorts of things did you do to combat the discomfort? Any suggestions [not including kill yourself] would be much appreciated.

New Art Series: My stuffed animals
General | Posted 16 years agoOkay, so I have ALOT of stuffed animals. I was looking at them recently and decided since alot of them are animals that I would draw them as furs. So far, they are looking pretty good. Anyway, I just figured I'd say something so it didn't look like I had dropped off the face of the earth or something. More to come with this as well as pricing and stuff for 3D commissions. =3
New Idea: 3D Model Commissions
General | Posted 16 years agoSo I was pondering my commission work and I thought... "Why am I only doing 2D work for people?" I've done some 3D work before and I actually enjoy it quite a bit. They weren't half bad considering the tools I had to work with [i.e. fingernails, toothpicks, fingers, and wishful thinking]. So I think if I actually put forth some effort and get some tools to work with I might be able to do something awesome. So to all the squirming masses who are itching to have a 3D model of their various Fursonas, drop this fox a line... or tell me that I'm nuts and that I should stick to the pictures. ^^;;;
A little backed up... n not physically
General | Posted 16 years agoHey everybody, Sorry I've been a little slow on commissions. I'm hitting a spot in the year where I have ALOT going on with college classes so things might be grinding to a halt for the next week or so. As soon as this bit is over, I'll be jumping into fixing up everything that's unfinished and putting it up. Again, sorry for the delay.
To all you awesome furs
General | Posted 16 years agoLately, there have been a lot of people coming to my page, leaving comments, requesting things, and so on. I just wanna say first off, that I am flattered that you guys like my work. I also wanna thank everyone for all the favorites and comments. Every bit of encouragement you guys give is greatly appreciated. For those of you who have asked me to draw things for you, I thank you as well because not only do you help me improve my skills as an artist and force me to think about new things while drawing, but you keep me from being broke and that's important in college. lol Anyway, I just felt like I should say thank you to everyone and I hope I can continue to crank out work that you guys like to look at. ^^
Melu'ke and my classmates
General | Posted 16 years agoTHEY THOUGHT HE WAS THE VILLAIN IN MY STORY!!!!! TT_______TT Just because he was big and a shark. I feel so unloved. They don't understand me. The suggested I change his color a little so he didn't look so cold. That, I can understand. Tiger sharks are a little more tanish gray than the color I made him. But still, why just because he's a big character does that make him evil? AND WHERE THE HELL DID THEY GET THE IDEA HE WAS A SAMURAI?!
Me and teh prons
General | Posted 17 years agoY'know, there came a point in my life [which happened to be this morning] when I realized I don't draw as much of whatever I feel like as I used to. Needless to say, this was upsetting to me because I really enjoyed some of the work I came out with and I must confess the work I've done in college doesn't even come close. Part of the reason for this is that I don't like my professors, they don't like my work, and I know my classmates are too shallow to appreciate what I do.
But I digress... The point of this journal was to try and motivate myself to draw more like I used to which, yes, includes pron in all it's balls-deep in a screaming male/female [I don't judge] glory. People have been asking for it and I want to draw it. All hail the glorious return to explicit nudity!

A week with my mate
General | Posted 17 years agoAs some of you may know, my mate Aaron came to visit me thursday before last. I was soooo excited to have him here and we had a great time together. So many stories and things to recount. He's so damn goofy, but it made me laugh. X3 Good stuff. :: sighs:: Sadly, today it had to come to an end, as all good things do, and he's now been out of my reach for 6 hours, possibly a little more. I'm not a puddle on the floor, but I miss him already. It was nice having someone to sleep with, someone to say "good morning, baby" when I opened my eyes. It's not to say I'll never have that again, but I was just starting to get used to it and it seems so short now... Like a dream.
My Avatar
General | Posted 17 years agogeez, it freakin' took me long enough to upload a pic for my damn Avatar on here. It looks okay, I guess... I kinda wish SL didn't run so pixilated on my computer. Probably be better if my comp didn't suck so much. Any way, I'll probably only have that up temporarily... By and by I will get tired of it, do something else, and change it... :: shrugs::
o___0
General | Posted 17 years agogod, I need to put more stuff up. Foxy got epically lazy all of a sudden... 'tis not okay... Um, hopefully I'll remember all the things I need to scan sometime soon... ZOMG stagnating...
NEVER AGAIN
General | Posted 17 years agoNEVER AGAIN will I fly from Rochester to Baltimore WITHOUT my sketchpad. OMG can you say twitchy freakin' mess?! I got SO DAMN UNCOMFORTABLE on that plane. I felt freakin' naked. It was terrible. Heh, people think I'm kidding when I saw drawing is a COMPULSIVE NEED for me, but I am soooooo NOT KIDDING!!!!!!!!! X_____X Luckily, mom got me a sketchpad for Christmas... Now I think I'll be okay for the return flight... =3
Urgh...
General | Posted 17 years agoI'll tell ya, for a school whose main focus isn't the arts, they sure are demanding... every other week, 50 thumbnails for a class, all the while telling you to be imaginative, but not too out there... Excuse me? "Too out there"? The hell does that mean? Seriously, I wasn't aware illustration had a "too out there" line... Honestly, sometimes, it feels like I haven't changed majors at all... with all the realistic crap they want us to do, I kinda feel like I'm back in my traditional fine arts classes... How depressing. Ugh, I dunno about other illustrators out there, but this fox doesn't do well in a cage. Especially when it comes to my art... @_____@
OMG TODAY'S MY BIRTHDAY....
General | Posted 17 years agoYeah... I don't even know what do say...I'll be 19 tomorrow... I don't feel like I've aged in years. I can't tell if that's a good or a bad thing. o_o I dunno, maybe I'm just being paranoid again. Happy Birthday to me.
IN NEED OF FEEDBACK
General | Posted 18 years agoH'okay, so... Here 's earth...
No, seriously. Here's my question to teh masses. Should I see if I can do a picture for each Zodiac sign in the same style that I did Zodiac: Leo? Lemme know what you think. ^^
