Back from my tiring journey.
Posted 10 years ago I'm back from Arkansas now, overall the trip wasn't too bad and I got to visit family for the first time in two years. Unfortunately on the day I was going to be flying back I was in a car accident. No one was hurt too badly and I ended up with a bit of swelling from a bump to the head and the muscles on the left side of my ribs are inflamed. The trip back was a nightmare but, I finally made it back in one piece!
I have never worked with them before but, my mom got me acrylic paints for Christmas. I was going to try and test the paint on clay figures once I get a brush set. Oh and oven is fixed so I will be able to start working on clay once my ribs start feeling a little better as moving my left arm around too much is a little painful at times.
At some point in the next few weeks I will be moving to a new place, we are going to be looking at available places next week and hopefully we will have a good idea of were we are going to end up living. All in all, I'm looking forward to getting all of this figured out and settled.

Changes changes everywhere.

Masoch. Also the oven at my house is currently broken so I wont be able to make clay stuff for who knows how long. Which means clay commissions may take a little time before they can be worked on, until then I think ill be messing around with(and trying to get used to) my tablet a little more and drawing random stuff. I'm gonna be going to Arkansas for a week so I am gonna have plenty of time to mess around with doodles.
This will be the first time I will ever actually be a part of buying/searching for a home and directly having to handle bills and whatnot, the whole adventure is a bit scary. However it will be an interesting learning experience and hopefully a grand adventure!

Commissions: Clay Miniatures!
Posted 10 years agoAttention all, I am opening up a list for commissions to help me pay for a new tarantula. I am trying to round up $110 to get one that's a little older and easier to care for than the one I had originally bought.
What happened is, I bought a baby tarantula and had it for one day. This afternoon when I wanted to check up on her she was gone. Somehow the little lady managed to escape the small container I put her in during the night. My roommates and I searched and searched for it, going through every small bit of the substrate, moving furniture but, we couldn't find her anywhere. I paid $80 for her and I am very sad she is gone.
I will be making all commissions out of Premo polymer clay. My miniatures will be like the ones here:

I can make regular animals of your choice or ones of a character you have. For basic minis I will be charging $20 each, they will be shipped to you when completed. If the thing you'd like me to make has extra features i.e. wings, horns, specific details/markings, etc. It may cost a bit more.
I will begin working on them right when the slots start getting filled and will send you progression updates if you would like.
