I have just found the scariest place on the whole internet. It's not on the deep, dark, or shadow web, it's right on Reddit. It's name r/incels. Never go there, all the people are crazy. Rape apologists, rape advocates, murder apologists, and so much more, these people are so far off the deep end they're diving right into the concrete.

So I learned today that Big Bang Theory is ending next year after twelve season. Honestly I liked the show, yeti said it. All through out my Twitter feed with people asking "why? Why does Big Bang get 12 seasons but this and that only gets one?" There are plenty of reasons.

1) it's nuanced nerd culture. The reason it's so popular is cause a casual watcher can go "oh I get that reference", NOT EVERY SINGLE SHOW HAS TO FUCKING REFRENCE SOME OBSCURE COMIC PANEL FROM THE 1930's! The idea is to make it so that someone who isn't engrossed in that certain thing can feel good for getting a reference. My Little Pony does this as well. In the episode the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well, the hero Mare-Do-Well is a reference to Batman from the animated series one of the most recognizable cartoons and heroes in history. Show a silhouette of batman to anyone and I can garantee you 99% of people will immediately guess batman. It also references Darkwing Duck from Disney with the purple suit that Rarity made. I remember a few years ago seeing a video going around where some dumbass was yelling at a scene where Howard made a lot of references to a lot of Pop Culture shows like Thundercats and Dr.Who, and this guys just yelled "WHERE'S THE JOKE" like a whinny bitch. The joke, was the references, Teh End. Now if you don't like there comedy fine I can't say your wrong Comedy is subjective but if you butch about how this show got twelve seasons when Friefly got only one, you're an idiot. And that brings me into my second point.

2) cost of the shows- A single episode of Big Bang costed roughly a million dollars to make. The pilot of Firefly was around $20,000,000 with each following episode costing $1,800,000. Firefly was lucky it got one season with that much money, the entire season of firefly cost roughly $43,400,000. Big Bang Cost less than Half that at $24,000,000 per season. A cheaper show will always be more desirable than a more expensive show to the TV executives. The same is said for Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, most of the show is stock footage from super Sentai over in Japan. The show replaces Sonic SatAM cause it was cheaper then what was currently on.

3) Marketing-This goes two ways how the show is how its marketed and how much they make off of sales. This includes toys, DVDs, and other such merchandise. Back in High school I could not go through the hall with out seeing at least 5 Bazinga shirts. To this day, I've yet to see any Forefly merch. People need to understand that TV is a business and all of these companies want and need to make money and the best way is Merch sales.
