I know I kind of suddenly up and vanished, but my husband got sick and then I caught whatever it was he had. I'm still recovering from it so I'm drawing a bit slowly. I hope to start uploading the work I've gotten done soon, though. Sorry for the radio silence!


It was AWFUL, I haven't felt that much body aches and fevers in forever.

Okay, more art. Slowly. Slowly but surely, I'll catch up. I'm trying to stay off Cyberpunk (I got it since I heard it's mostly fixed at last) so I get work done. I still have a ton of art to upload, but I am not sure if I should do it all at once, I might since I'm going out of town for about 5 days.

Also I got diagnosed with intermittent asthma, it explains a lot. The meds I take now help me not feel tired all the time now since I can breathe properly. It's helped with my productivity big time.

That's about it. I hope I can get my galleries updated.

I have a backlog of commissions to upload, and some personal art. I'm sorry for the silence! I've been swamped! It's been back to back, I finish one and three more pop up! I've also been practicing different styles on my free time, I realized I like a more sketchy looser style than my more clean lineart, it just seems more... me? I dunno. I used to like those "punk" artstyles if anyone remembers those, one of my biggest influences being traumabunny/tailschan/Sarah B. I wonder whatever happened to her...

But yeah, anyway, I might actually have to start taking batch commissions at this rate! PHEW.

Yeah that's about it, pardon the inbox spam.

So the lack of posting has been due to a lot of issues concerning my laptop. It was running fine up to this day, still does! The issue is due to its age, updates were too big, and programs themselves got much too big to allow the laptop to properly run. My mom stepped in and gave me a new PC to be able to continue what I do, and it's been such a huge blessing. I should be able to start uploading again soon once I get commissions out of the way. Things with the laptop had been so spotty, I realized I haven't uploaded a couple of commissions I had done for others, and a couple of pieces.

UUUUGHHHH, commissions are much slower now thanks to busywork in one of my classes being online only, it's not even helping us learn anything at all.

Don't take online classes if you can avoid it, kids.

I may need to open up some emergency commissions to pay for rent. I may be a little slow due to the semester already starting, but would anyone be interested?

I think I'd be able to be less restrictive with what I draw since, ya know, it's an emergency.

I decided to take some colleg at last (I thought I could dodge tests for the remainder of my life but I was wrong), and decided to take some art classes, hopefully learn me some anatomy and stuff. Self-taught only gets you so far!

But yeah I'm alive, been mostly working on commissions (and partially being sick as well as dealing with living with a roommate), so I've been here and there. Yeah.

This is mostly to say I'm alive, and internet is fine, that old journal was obviously outdated.

We already moved and are finishing up both moving the remaining possessions we have, as well as getting settled in the new place.

Thing is we had internet for about a day, an hour or two maybe.

Then it died. Hopefully it'll be up by tomorrow hopefully, if Comcast actually feels like setting it up, they did a "hard disconnect". They gotta send someone over to set it up again :/

Hopefully they get that done and I can get back to work. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I've gone silent due to moving day being this Friday. We're finishing up packing, and hope to move in as soon as possible, so I haven't gotten to work on art all that much.

I'll try and work on it when I can, but we gotta be out of here pretty soon. Hopefully the rain lets up so our furniture doesn't get messed up, a lot of it is not meant to get soaked.

Apologies for my silence, I've had to work on some projects for someone, got sick, been out a lot, and a day or two ago I burned my finger with hot glue, you know from those hot glue guns. It wasn't too bad, it stopped hurting since I put a crappton of A+D cream on it, sure helped my tattoo heal, so why not a burn?

Anyway yeah, back to the grind.

I hope everyone had a good one, I was very busy during the weekend so I'm sorry about the delays. We also found a place we may be able to move to, so eventually I'll go inactive again while we get settled in. Again.

There's a lot of empty apartments in this area now, so plenty of people seem to think the same and are leaving the complex. LOL!

I need to move soon, so I my activity may decrease here and there while we prepare for it. Here's to hoping things go pretty smoothly, we plan to be out by the end of the month.

I gotta stop being so picky, and that means I'll try and relax the restrictions I've got on my pieces a bit. I'll try my hand at drawing mature pieces when it comes to Pokemon, and the like. Here goes nothing, I guess!

So signal here is still somewhat spotty, but the electricity is back up in some areas so we're comfortable.

I haven't come back on because I caught my husband's flu, and I can't draw without feeling that my fingers are going to snap off in the progress. Sorry about that, I really do wanna get stuff done, but I don't have the energy to at the moment.

Hopefully this passes soon, and our internet stays stable enough, it tends to fluctuate throughout the day.

Just an update regarding my absence. Hope everyone's doing alright.

Alright, we're safe. FPL confirmed they'll be cutting the power to minimize damage when the storm arrives, they're saying to prepare to have power loss for weeks here. While Irma's power has lessened slightly, she's still big, and still relatively strong, we should be okay, but not too sure for older buildings. Evacuations for sectors A B and partial C sectors are all being brought here since we're more inland and higher up than the rest of these areas. We're barely outside the storm surge zones, which is HORRIFYING, but we'll be okay. Hopefully.

Today, Friday September 8, may be the last day with electricity. I'll try and get some work done, but I've been pretty anxious, and that makes it a wee bit hard to focus.

To those who're gonna be in the path of the storm alongside us, stay safe.

FPL said they may either have to end up cutting power voluntarily, or that it will eventually go out on its own, seems commissions will definitely be delayed for the time being.

Pray for us/ keep us in your thoughts, we got family in Puerto Rico, too, so this is an overall unsettling experience. I wasn't here for Andrew, so I'm not entirely sure what to expect. For those of you in our state, stay safe, stay alert, and make sure you're ready, regardless if it hits or not. It's better to be over-prepared than not be prepared at all.

So it's been raining a lot here, it's nice, but stuff's getting flooded. It's a bit funny when nothing gets damaged, it sucks when peoples' properties and cars get busted. We all know how overly priced everything is here, and how /eager/ Florida's government is to give some funds for repairs, it's why a lot of our streets are at the their most excellent pristine level: cracked and faded with plenty of those holes that shoot your car into the stratosphere.

As for me vanishing, I had migraines, then came back, then ate something that pissed my stomach off, I've been resting most of this time. I hope it goes away soon, it's annoying being hungry and eating while waiting for the imminent beating my own stomach is gonna give me.

The music is so nice and calming, so makes me so sleepy ._. I love the game, but oh man it's so hard to stay awake...

Sorry about vanishing, I got over my cold after almost a month or two, but then my uncle was rushed to the hospital and had surgery, I've been busy visiting my cousins as he recovers in the hospital. He's doing better now, and I've just only gotten back online little by little.

Hopefully I can get some new stuff uploaded soon.

Sorry for the disappearance, but I took some time off after Christmas since my birthday followed during New Year's Eve and I wanted to just relax with my family.

Then my laptop stopped charging. We assume it's the charger cable that may be damaged so we ordered a new one, all we have to do is wait.

We apologize for the delay in some commissions but it is too risky to lose work suddenly due to the lack of charge getting into the battery.

Hopefully it arrives soon.

I had taken my dog to the vet today because we thought she was having a kinda bad reaction to her medicine for de-worming. Turns out she had Pancreatitis, her kidneys were pretty much done, and cancer had made its way to her lungs and heart. Instead of being selfish and having her suffer by keeping her around much longer, with the lead vet's (very saddened) subtle suggestions that there was not much that could be done at this point, besides buying her a little more time.

So yeah, she was freed today from her pain, and released on to the next life. She went quickly and peacefully, I'll miss my baby, but she's no longer in pain.

I'll try my best to work on commissions, but it may be something I'll have to put on hold. I'll have to see how alright I am alright enough to work on pieces well enough.

Thanks for your understanding, and give a big loving hug to your pets for me today/tonight.

I came back home a week after Hurricane Matthew, but then had to deal with the Harvest Fest at our church, and then I got sick with the flu. I've gotten better, I had to wait until I got better before I could try and draw again, so sorry about that.

I'll get back to commissions that I owe now, sorry for the delay!

Hey guys, sorry I went inactive. After Hurricane Matthew, I got used to not being online much, and I also got a mild cold. I should be back up and running pretty soon.

Yeah I got a really bad cold from my husband, and I've been bedridden several days. Just yesterday I was able to finally walk around and all that, but it's been generally tough. I should be up and active again soon.

Had to update my HUION's driver, and now the sensitivity is all different again, I'm going to have to get used to it all over again, it's so weird, but oh well. Windows 10 was NOT being friendly with my driver, turns out. Apparently it wasn't my tablet being damaged by my hubby in his sleep again.

I was supposed to be sleeping, it's almost 5am, but this cold sometimes makes me feel really anxious about sleeping. It's such a pain.

I'm not too sure how safe I feel here, though. I'll more than likely be more active over at Weasyl. I'll still be active, but... errr, I'm gong to be looking into alternatives with keeping my notes safe.
