CARA?
Posted a year agoI just recently heard about Cara and I like the premise and direction the creators took with it. I even made a little account to try it out. It will propably take some time before I post anything over there. I still need time to put my things together properly now that my little boy is big enough that he does not need my supervision all the time. Anyways, anybody else have Cara account? What are your experiences with it? I am really curious about it from the perspective of somebody who is on it. If you have account, maybe we could meet there too :)

Avoiding internet communities and social media
Posted 2 years agoFA is literally the last internet community I participate in. I no longer have a DA account or Facebook. I never had Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr or anything of this sort. Why oh why? Here’s why - the toxicity. I know FA has its own share of this bullshit but it was never prominent for me or I just got lucky by not finding myself on the receiving end that much. I was called names in a few interesting emails and PMs, and every time the author blocked me after writing it. So much for a conversation, not that I ever intended to answer. I also know people who were treated the same or even worse. Some were even questioned by the community admins because somebody else had a problem with them. Myself, I just ignore stuff like that when they happen.
The other thing is the entitlement and demanding position of people in places like that. I don’t know what is wrong with individuals who choose to do it, but they certainly need some reality check. It's like me or anybody else owes them the world and they have the right to dictate what or how you are supposed, no - MUST to do your stuff, or else! Then they cause a flame war and it is just sad to see. People are just disgusting sometimes.
I have been on the internet for way too long and I know better not to get into conversations like that. It is a waste of time and leads to absolutely nothing. I may be immune to bs like that, but that does not mean I like to be around it. It is like being used to sitting in a barn full of cows(whoever knows what i mean). You get used to it after a while, but you do not enjoy it either and prefer to go outside because at the end of the day it is still upsetting.
I understand that for many people it is a sort of a must, because of the character of their work. I was there myself. Sad part is that it was not like that some time ago, only after a while bad apples started to infect peaceful places where people could just share their passions and hobbies, and like with every rot it will just keep spreading and I don’t want any part of it anymore.

On AI “art”
Is it art? In my opinion it is NOT. Although what is art in this day and age is highly questionable. Long time ago we already crossed the Rubicon of obscurity when it came to defining it. Today even a shit in a bucket is considered art when you put enough bullshit around it or call it performance, but I digress. I won’t be getting into a discussion about it because it’s a long one.
Am I against it? NO.
I think this is a fun tool to play and it might even help in self development as an artist. Because let's be frank, those images are very often stunning when it comes to form, colors and composition, and that could serve as a good tutorial and learning tool.
Is a person using AI an artist?
You are not an artist if you are using AI and then presenting it to the world as your own, and even worse trying to make money with it. If anything you are an insult to all artists in the world…except for the ones who think shit in a bucket is art, because this is where you belong in a shit bucket. Quick way to make money for people with no talent and no respect for actual artists who spend their lives learning and mastering their craft. If you are one of them, shame on you.
That’s why I think FA is a solid site when it comes to its policies about it, and places like DA or ARTstation should take example, despite being so very much flawed on so many other levels.
Is AI a threat to artists?
Yes and No. It most likely won’t be to people working for companies that deal with art in one way or another, because those companies care for their image way too much. For little and private creators who try to make a living out of freelancing, I would say YES, although those who managed to create a style and name for themselves not so much. It’s way too many variables plus human shitty nature to consider. There might be a time when REAL creators will have to unite and massively ban AI creators from our platforms.
On Daisy Duck
Random as fuck. In the past, of all the core girl characters of Disney, I liked Daisy the most. I guess it was because of her spicy temperament that was making her the least bland of the bunch and something super feminine about her too. I didn’t put much thinking into it, because come on! XD
Lately though, I found some old Donald Duck comic books at home and I read some of them just to chase some nostalgia, and many of the stories were really good and funny. Except for one detail which was Daisy. I am not talking about stories that happen in some alternative timelines, universes, parodies etc.(altough sometimes it was over there too).I am talking about the current timeline which I assume is canon. Daisy is a straight up abusive and toxic bitch to Donald and Donald is a simp.
It didn’t break my heart or anything. I am just kinda disappointed with myself that I didn’t spot that earlier. Aside from her hot temperament, I guess that’s how ducks are in Disney universe, which might be funny to a reader is not funny if you take the point of view of Donald. Most of the time she is mean to him, neglectful, critical and dismissive. She only shows him any sort of affection from time to time when it suits her. She also openly dates his cousin while dismissing it as no big deal, right in front of his face/beak. It seems like she is playing with both of them, and Donald is still pretty much simping for her instead of dumping her. And I know that Femme Fatales are very much on top right now, for who knows what reason, it is not a good role model to follow in the long run.

As fot the title... well, I tamed down my gallery to tasteful nudity. Reason for that is of course my little boy, request of my beloved husband and I was geting tired of it. So from now on, if or when I submit something, it won't cross the line of tastefull nudity. I have left the hardcore Heri behind and it feels good with all honesty. In time I hope to return to taking commissions every now and then, but same rules of tame will apply. :) I know, it's weird to say that over here, considering the majority of the subjects around, ha ha, but I consider FA to be one of the if not the most honest gallery pages out there, especially with their "no AI art policy", and of course the most important part - YOU. :) I may not be active and very talktive, but I often think of all the people that I got to know through this art community, the talks, shenenigans, jokes etc. Many of you are still here and that keeps me away from that "close the account" button.

I am still alive and kicking, so don't worry :) I am just doing a quick update on my status since I got some voices of concern reaching me. Aside from melting in canadian summer heat and suffering from sprained ankle, I am very much fine in physical aspect. Thank you to everybody who showed concern, it means very much to me. :)
Sadly I am also no longer an active drawer. Lack of privacy, three year old toddler and being full time mom with little to no help during the day, leaves not much time for creativity for me. I am not deprived of some creative things tough. I got myself into painting miniatures for Warhammer 40k for myself and my hubby, so it goes somehow little by little. I might post some photos soon. :)
Regarding my art and commissions, present and future ones, I 've decided to tame it down quite a bit, mostly because of my little one and out of respect for my hubby. So, no more spice, just soft erotica at most... I have no idea tough when will I start drawing again, but I will some day in the future :)

Posted 4 years ago... um, shortly put I am a mom now, and It's hard to generate a little bit of time, and most of all strenght and will whenever time is there. Who went through it, knows what I mean.You just want to sink into a chair and watch some stupid shit or play non-demanding game. :) So that's pretty much a whole reason of my absence., if anybody wondered :)
Altough, i've decided to kick myself in the butt a bit so i wouldn't go completely rusty, and decided to open up for a few commissions since i am kinda suffering from lack of ideas, so i can as well do somebody else's ideas and treat it as a booster. Hopefuly. :)

Not that I didn't had free time earlier, but i was rather preoccupied with personal things and i wasn't really able to touch my graphic tablet *hugs the tablet*.But it's pretty much over... at least for now. It has been a bad year(s) lately. I won't be getting into details about my private life's issues that caused it all to be shitty. It's over now and i feel energized more than ever in a long time, and it would be a pity to waste it :)
So, what am i planning?
Most of all, start drawing in bigger amounts again either some random stuff, commissions or YCHs... I feel like I can handle it easy :)
I am in a process of creating my Patreon page, for which i am rather excited.
Get back into community :)
So yeah, that's in short without boring everybody :)

Learn to distinguish gender from sexual preferences. Better yet, leave that sewage and cancer hive which is TUMBLR. Unbelievable how much shit can grow in people's heads these days when they want to feel exceptional and super special. I've recieved a very urgent thing to do, which is to embroider velvet shawls by end of this week. Fuckin crazy. I already barely sleep, my neck hurts and my fingers bleed. In the meantime i am doing little by little the Argonian Maid pieces, and sketching trades. :) I wat some tiny robots to do the job for me, right now :P. I also have a perspective of embroided jackets before me... I am so going to die.

Posted 10 years agoJust as it says. :) Some people asked me a few weeks back about commissions, but unfortunetlly i had my hardware complications at the time. Luckyly the crisis is kinda over and i can take care of what people may threw on me :) Commission info can be found on my front page.

Posted 10 years agoMaby some were wondering why i don't post anything new or don't annouce another round of my Argonian MAid YCHs. Answer is pretty trivial becouse my tablet has gived up the ghost, and at this moment i can't afford a new one, propably till november which is a pain. :/ This might also give me opportunity to remember how it was before happy tablet times and do some things in good old traditional media. Maby they appear fine enough to make commissions out of it, and then send the originals. I don't know i will see :)

I guess, this is also a good place to explain why i don't do hard porn commissions anymore, since few people asked me that some time ago. I kinda got tired with them since they started at some point to become a mojrity of my artworks, and I really would prefer to be appreciated for something else than porn :) I am still into erotica, nude and soft porn though, so i guess i pretty much cover some expectations. That's pretty much it about this subject. :)

Like it wasn't bad enough
Posted 12 years agoSeriouslly, two funreals in the family in six months is deffinetly way to much. I really don't know now when i will be available for commissions again. Of course i will finish all that are already ordered, so no worries about that. It just sucks so majorly. :<

I plan to make them very graphic and more badge like :) So it will be something totally diffrent. I will prepeare a sample soon, so stay tuned and give me your thoughts about it. Are you interested?
