Hey, 100 Followers or Something!
Posted 8 years agoI just hit 100 watchers! Neat! I want to do something to commemorate the occasion, but I have no idea what I should do. As such, I'll be willing to take suggestions in the comment section below! If someone has already posted your suggestion, feel free to comment that you agree with them, as your input is pretty vital for such a milestone. Thank you very much for following, and I hope you continue to follow me for as long as I continue to draw
Current Thoughts on the State of Requests
Posted 8 years agoHello!
As you may have noticed, the influx of request art has slowed dramatically. This is due to a variety of things, from the end of the school year to moving to a new art platform for non-pixel art. However, the main reason is due to a change in interest. I first started doing requests as a means of getting new ideas on cool, fat-themed art I could do, but it has since derailed into me essentially giving out free commission work. (I will take blame for this, since my advertising somewhat promised this.) This, combimed with the data loss described in an earlier journal, meant that I lost motivation to do many of these requests, thus shifting my focus to a mix of suggestion art and self-influenced art. I didn't and don't want to be known as the "free-commisions guy."
Rather than being a complete Negative Nancy and infuriatingly keeping you all in the dark, however, I decided to make some changes to suggestions. I feel like I should exercise my right to silence projects more and, to not seem like a complete jerkface who builds up false expectations, avoid commenting my progress on art after getting a request or being questioned. I will mention if I don't think I can do a piece of art to avoid being too mean, as well. I will also use less of a strict guideline, as there are many exceptions to most of the rules I posted as to what I'll work on and I don't want to keep restricting recurring requesters when I don't upload a new tbread in two months. I might also request themed requests at times, such as something fattenable other than a Pokemon to avoid burnout.
What does this mean for all of you?
First off, don't assume a suggestion is off the table because of time. Sometimes I just don't know the best way to tackle a subject and it takes me longer. Even if I say it is canned, it may, return eventually, even if the odds are slim. Also, feel free to request whatever you want whenever you want. If it breaks my rules, I'll try to make it work rather than tossing it out the window. Finally, while this hasn't really changed, you can always get your art prioritized over everyone else by doing an art trade of some sort.
Before I end this, however, I have some questions about what you think would be best for these suggestions.
1. Edit: Two comments in w/ a resounding "yes," so this question closed. It was about being transparent w/ art pieces being stuck in development hell.
2. Would you partake in themed suggestions?
3. Should I continue to do flat/cell-shaded non-pixel art? I feel like it comes out worse, honestly.
Thank you for your understanding and for reading this gargantuan journal. Here's to the future!

Reminder: WG on Twitter
Posted 8 years agoWanna contribute more weight to the drive than the 4 lbs from FA favorites? Simply head to my Twitter (Right here] and like/retweet the images from the WG there! You add 8 lbs per image when you do so, so it could make Cerberus's weight gain that much more "substantial."
Technical Difficulties
Posted 8 years agoI do most of my art on my phon, but my phone recently decided to freak out and require me to do a factory reset. All of my apps were backed up, but I do not know if the sketches I was working on were. I will get back to you when I find out for sure, but in the meantime, don't be surprised if your suggestion or trade gets pushed back a week or two.
Edit: Yeah, it seems like all of that is gone, so my art output may slow a little bit :/

Long Week
Posted 8 years agoI won't be able to upload Thursday night due to having a school makeup day, but I still hope to have three pieces of art out over the weekend (two minimum).
Updatez to the suggestions page
Posted 8 years agoI didn't want to make a new suggestions page for this, since I am backed up as it is, but I have a few changes that I wanted to make to the way things are suggested. First, non-pixel art will no longer be a queue unless you want smooth shading. If you want flat shading, which I will demonstrate tomorrow, it will take about as long as a normal pixel art. Second, I will be no longer accepting GIF or vore suggestions until further notice. I don't want to accept GIFs because I already have so many on the back burner, and I don't want to accept vore because, the more I think about it, the more I don't feel right doing vore art. I will still upload the two vore pics I have been working on, but I won't do any more for some time. Thank you for your time. Happy suggesting!
Busy Weekend, No Art Till Saturday Night
Posted 8 years agoJust thought I'd let you know ahead of time that my weekend is all kinds of crazy. I'll make it up to y'all by posting two pics on Saturday night, however
Schedule Switch-Up!
Posted 8 years agoFor quite some time now, I have been posting two pieces of art on the weekend regardless of how long said weekend was. Now, however, since I have a glut of requests to go through (pun semi-intended), I figured that it would be a good time to start releasing more art on longer weekends, which means 3 pieces of art on average weekly! This will not include suggestion guideline pages, which will be uploaded separate of the schedule.
Minor Delays For Cerberus's Fattening
Posted 8 years agoI've decided that the Cerberus Fattening part 5 that I was going to upload tonight was not up to standards, so I've pushed up the release of the other parts to fill the gap. This means that the Cerberus Fattening release schedule may be a little wonky for a while. Part 5 will come out tomorrow hopefully - Here's a teaser.
