Posted 8 years ago I zapped my grey blumaroo and he turned to christmas color D:
And he also changed to female when I zapped him
It was kinda dumb to zap him when I liked him so much I just... got impulsive
I morphed her into a krawk now :'( But wow I'm dumb
I don't feel her name fits anymore xD I picked it out specifically for my grey blumaroo as a character

But 98% of fursuits have big old dog style noses, buck teeth and such ):
That's not what bunnies look like and I'd like a suit maker that would make a bunny right <3
This idea isn't happening anytime soon, but it's not bad to have an idea ahead of time.
Also lemurs too, if any makers do leems. I'd consider a lemur suit o: But I'm leaning more towards a bunnyrab

I decided to make a shopping list for anyone who might be interested in adopting rabbits. Everything from housing to brushes to toys.
If you're interested in adopting rabbits - it may be something helpful to bookmark! I also highly suggest rabbit.org as a source of information on behavior, diet, illnesses, etc.
These are all just suggestions! You don't have to buy these exact brands or even buy from amazon. Just a general idea.
Well, for pellets - I really can't suggest anything other than Oxbow, Sherwood Forest, or Science Selective as other brands are unhealthy/dangerous.:(

Posted 8 years agoWell if you didn't know, Asha decided less than a year ago it'd be cool to nibble my laptop charger in two (I'm kidding, it was my fault leaving it out) so I kind of just migrated to desktop and never did anything for my laptop, but now I need it to draw since my desktop is up but I have to sit on the floor to use it lmao. I bought a charger before and it didn't work well and I had to return it. I got one off Amazon with help of my computer savvy friends and now, almost a year later, my laptop is back functioning 1000 watcher raffle?

It will probably be a few months from now but I'd love to do one. I get watchers really slowly lol. Maybe 2-3 winners depending on how much I feel I can get done. I never rly done a raffle before but if anyone has any ideas or advice lmk I have a computer ;0

Since I don't have room for my desktop,
I ordered a new charger and battery for my old laptop.
The other parts for my drawing tablet should be here within a few days as well.
Aaaaand I don't have my tablet pen or cord

Well I assumed 24 hours would help bond my three rabbits due to the stress and needing to rely on each other but nope, Asha (the only problem rabbit) is acting exactly the same and being awful. I divided the ex pen and I'm just not going to deal with that for a week or two. Frustrating and I'm stressed enough as it is.
Another great thing that happened is my cat - Queenie - tried to claw her way out of the pet carrier during the road trip and absolutely *destroyed* her nails, all her front claws are removed to the quik or the quik is completely gone. I washed her paws as soon as we got to the house and again this morning - but they're looking pretty sick. So I made a vet appointment for tomorrow morning. It's going to be about $200 which is ughh. I'm so strained for money right now but her nails need to be cleaned and she needs antibiotics so it's necessary. I'd do anything for my animals, anyway.
So... yeah I'm not having fun. Everything is awful and I'm never allowed to have a moment of peace.
I'm not allowed to have anything good happen to me it seems.
No art for awhile (Road trip/moving)

And no computer stuffs... may be able to get a desk and stuff for my room Sunday.
ATM I'm in the car for 20 or so hours. Which of course is interesting in itself but far more "interesting" with three rabbits, a tarantula, and a certain cat who absolutely can't stand being in the car.

I honestly really appreciate all the support on here /w\
I've been having a tough time financially [commissions are my only income atm]
My cat's annual vet visit cost more than I anticipated [it was $60 more]
And my 3 rabbit's annual wellness check is coming up in a week [$200]
But I was able to sell some old characters and I'm doing alright now!
I also generally am able get commissions pretty well and I have some people who commission me frequently
And it's really nice. I'm hoping to leave this place [irl] soon and get to a better home and try and figure things out from there.
Maybe get a job even if only to work sometimes it would be something. It sucks here.
I appreciate everything. Even if you don't commission me I still appreciate the general support a lot.

Posted 8 years agoYEah I waited all this time to get my wisdom teeth removed but it's not happening now bc finical issues and more stuff I'm not getting into. So I plan to just get on out of here like I originally planned nad deal with the tooth pain some other time I guess. They all have cavities and are causing issues with my gums so they hurt a lot but nothing I can do about it right now. I'm not sure when I'm leaving, tomorrow my cat goes to the vet for a check up + microchipping. I'll be making an annual check up visit for my rabbits when I'm there too. After they've been given a clean bill of health I'll be out of this hell house. :vBreeding bunnies with flat faces [lops, dwarves, lionheads]

Working with rescues, I see the breeder rejects and people who buy from shops and breeders and then dump the bunnies when they develop medical issues from the breeding and I see it all the time. But there's an actual article for it now. It's sad and I wish people would stop supporting these kinds of things. Lionheads, holland lops, netherlands/polish dwarves are adorable but there's more humane ways of getting cute bunnies than buying from and supporting breeding. Millions of bunnies are in rescues and are put to sleep from lack of homes and many more suffer in bad homes and are being rehomed on other websites like craigslist and facebook and need good homes.
I'm just tired of humans manipulating and wrecking other beings for their own person amusement. I just want people to use their minds and consider the harm they're doing. But they don't. Because it's 'fun' and people give them money to do it.
