TV Tax Time
General | Posted 11 years agoLooks like it's time to renew the the old antiquated and largely irrelevant 20th century TV taxation bill for the coming year. I don't even consume any of the BBC'S shitty "public service" programming anymore and I've never been a fan of their output (with the exception of a few programmes from aeons ago), but whatever. In any case, I honestly hope the corporation slowly sinks into the muddy ground under the sheer weight of the money they bleed from British consumers.
F***ing Fiddlesticks!
General | Posted 11 years agoOkay, to any of you who may have a Cosmos 2 computer chassis. Do not try to remove the top dust filter without unscrewing it from the back first, otherwise it'll, erm... snap off :p Right, Looks like I'd better sign up to the Cooler Master store then, at least spare parts are available to buy ^^; Other than that, I'm just dandy.
Facebook Community Standards?
General | Posted 11 years agoI just reported a violent torture video I found earlier on my wall, and apparently it doesn't violate Facebook's "community standards". So it's not going to be taken off despite all the overwhelming criticism the video received. Ha, so now kids and sensitive members of the community can continue to be exposed to the nature of human brutality on a supposedly "friendly and safe" website. Well, I've lodged a complaint and gave a lecture on moral ethical standards in the media and why things like this are unacceptable. I'm quite frankly disgusted, utterly disgusted. Community standards? Facebook, you disappoint me.
I understand that in certain circles, the content of my gallery would be deemed unacceptable. However, it's all fantasy, no one gets harmed and I'm assuming people who visit my page are aware of that. But exposing mainstream social media users to "real" violent footage is another matter.

Upload Bypass
General | Posted 11 years agoI just attempted a reupload of my latest submission in an attempt to offer a higher resolution version of the same image. The problem is the file in my gallery claims to be at a higher reolution, but it seems to be same size as the last upload, even when zoomed in. I'm a little mystified by this. The thing is, I spent time on details that are being missed and there is just cause for a higher resolution upload. Not ridiculously big, but big enough for people to appreciate the way I wanted it to be viewed. I don't think I did anything wrong, is anybody out there having similar problems? I've been spoilt with DAs upload policies, so please forgive me for asking lol
On second thoughts it appears to have worked, ignore me and my ramblings.
