This weekend I will be offering Mavrick, my very first furry character.
Long long ago, before I really even knew there was a furry fandom, I created this winged raccoon guy and drew him in a flight jacket. My favorite movie then was Top Gun, so I named him Mavrick. I had some pictures drawn of him a few years ago. And then I never did anything with him. I didn't even get to RP him on Furrymuck or anyplace.

I hope someone can take Mav and breathe some more life into him and bring some enjoyment to his existence. I never had the chance to develop him much beyond that he is a flight instructor, and sometimes he likes to surprise his students by letting them go solo as he jumps out of the glider. He lives in some city I made up called Canyon City, somewhere in desert country. Thats the only backstory I have on him.

Gas and food costs are through the roof. Its not something i will do lightly, but i am considering selling some OCs for money. Quite a few of them are rpg characters, so i will throw in a character sheet as well.

Aaurgh. I have my tax return burning a hole on my wallet. I want to get a commission, but im drawing a total blank on what i want drawn or by who. I HAD ideas in the past, but my brain cant remember them now. I have this same problem when i go to the record store.

wow, holy crap, someone just found a new and creative way to fuck with FA. Somehow got all the art to be rejected by the server host as a restricted video. Clever girl.

A Ducktales fancanon.

Webigail is Mrs. Beakley's clone. When she was Agent 22, Black Heron cloned her. Beakley destroyed the lab as usual, found Webby in the maturation bat, and freed her. Then she adopted the clone and named her Webigail, and retired from life as an agent. Scrooge agrees to keep her as a housemaid, and let Beakley raise the girl as a daughter. This is why we never hear about Webby's parents. This also explains all the crazy hobbies and abilities that Webby has. They were programmed into her. This also means that in the near future, FOWL will use a command to activate deeply hidden mental protocols on Webby and she will go all Bucky Barnes on everyone. It would make as awesome season finale.

My 16th wedding anniversary is coming up. its time to find someone to draw my annual furry family portrait. My daughter gave me an idea this year, why not have someone draw all of us like in the cartoon Bluey?
Well, why not? Does anyone know an artist who could do that and is willing to draw a seven character portrait?

There. I finished watching Beastars. I have to say, the series kept surprising me. Just when I think I had this world figured out it revealed a new level of complexity. My favorite character was Gouhin the Panda. He felt a lot like Batou from Ghost in the Shell. Maybe it was the eyes. I'll check out season 2 when it comes around. So now, what anime should I try to watch? Delve back into something old school? Been a long time since I watched Bubblegum Crisis. Are there any more furry themed animes out there I might enjoy? I could also enjoy something steampunk, cyberpunk or dieselpunk themed. And always giant space robots

Tonight I got involved in a surreal conversation about what different Pokemon would taste like. We concluded that Jigglypuff tastes like marshmallows, electric types are tangy, and Mr Mime tastes funny.
And so, the next Pokemon game should feature a main character whose main goal in life is to catch and eat all the Pokemon. His name will be Ash Ketchup. He'll have spiky white hair, wear bowling shirts with dragons on them and he comes from Flavortown

by and by, the more I see of this coming Detective Pikachu movie, the more I want to see it and think it looks really fun. Headcannon, the whole movie is a dream that Deadpool is having.

What if this nerdy lion I've been thinking about for a fursona is an anthro chimera? With a snek tail, and goaty horns and hooves? Wings or no wings?

I've been giving a lot of though this last week to changing my fursona. I think i've narrowed it down to two choices. What it comes down to, is how do I want to represent myself in how I see the two species I've picked as how I see myself.

Miles Highyena is the Metalhead that I always wanted to become. He has a fierce, devil-may care attitude, he's in it for the fun of things, to get his rock on,and his rocks off. He is the more aggressive side of myself. Though mostly he is a caricature based on a pun, Mile highyena, because I live at 6000 ft altitude in the rocky mountains.

My new choice is a Lion or a pitt bull terrier.

pitt bull fursona will be the side of me that is the Dad. I love Pitties. I love the way they look, and they are sweet, loyal, patient, strong and sort of derpy. Like me. Like the dad I strive to be. I'm just trying to suss out a more detailed idea of what pittie dad would look like. Brindled? what color? cropped ears and tail or not? How dilfy do I want to make him?

Lion fursona is the Nerd. the part of me that loves to be a little geeky. the gamer, the cartoon enthusiast, the Star Wars fan, the Browncoat. Lion sort of fits me right now in that I see them as a little lazy, napping all the time they can, eating a lot, sort of aloof, but scary when riled. Nerd lion will be kinda chubby, and wear a lot of bright, fun Hawaiian shirts as I tend to do. Lions are so damn common thought. I'm still trying to think of a way to make a lion fursona a little more unique without becoming a pastel sparkle kitty.

Input or ideas about appearance are appreciated.

Here is what I have narrowed down my choices to for a new fursona. All of them sort of fit my personality, habits or preferences. I want to know what you think about them or like the most

Lion. Specifically a chubby lion who wears Hawaiian shirts.
Goat. I already have some art of him.
Billy bumbler, from the Dark Tower books. Sort of like a stripey raccoon dog.
Worg. Although anthro works tend to look like a big werewolf.
Pitt bull doggo. I love me some pitties!

As much as I love being a yeen, lately it feels like hyenas are becoming too mainstream. Thanks Haida. So ice been giving thought to a change. Should I make my secondary son a, a goat, into my primary? Do something new and not as common? I do Like the look of the Big Cats. I don't know what could represent my personality lately. Hell, I feel so stuck in a rut in life, I don't even know what my personality is other than something grumpy that hates life

The last two weeks have NOT been good to me. car repairs with crushing price tags, not having my car and having to share another car between four people, hospital visits, fucking stupid drama with my fucking stupid sister in-law , and it seems like everything that I can fuck up or break has broke. Now I'm back in school and its going to be a difficult time this semester between that and work.
I don't feel very confident in myself right now, or successful or even very useful. I hate myself.

I could use some words of encouragement right now. Or something to make me laugh.

My birthday is coming up and I have a hunger for a commission. But I don't know what or fromwhom. What could be a fun idea to have someone draw?

Due to recent things like my brother-in-law having a heart attack, and my niece suddenly dropping dead last week (they still haven't told her father for fear of giving him another heart attack), I've been thinking about bodies.

Bodies suck. All they will ever do in the end is fail you. They get sick, they get damaged, and even if you do your very best to take care of yourself, sometimes you will still get cancer or something and die. Bodies cannot be relied on. All we are is a mind driving around a huge lump of slowly decaying meat. Meat that will betray you in the end. I don' like it anymore.

I want a metal body. One made of chrome and electronics. I want a precise, digital heartbeat, enhanced senses. I want to slough off this meat and be one with the machine. Even if I'm not immortal, I want to be rid of this frailty.

So I'm thinking about changing my fursona somewhat. Miles is now a cyborg. Perhaps he has a synthetic skin and fur covering him so he passes as normal, but underneath, he is like a yeeny T-100. I'll be seeking out some art soon to reflect this.

Something I was going to have done fell through, so I want to try something else instead.
Its been two years since we lost Lemmy. Now that the Rainbow Bar and Grill, lemmy's favorite LA haunt, has memorialized him with a bronze statue, I want to get a picture of Miles standing on front of it. So we're talking a color drawing of a yeen, kind of drawn in a pose to fit into this background.
