I rejoiced in vain recently—Marusya has actually gotten worse instead.
Over these one and a half years, due to daily prednisolone injections and other concomitant medications, she developed diabetes. It became active at the end of August. In mid-August, she was prescribed insulin injections and attempts to switch to another medication.
Marusya got better for a short while, which made me so happy. But in reality, the medications weren't helping. Marusya started looking like a living corpse—she neither ate nor drank. I have to feed her and give her water from a syringe. The number of medications has increased, as have the injections.
Marusya is very apathetic and lethargic all day long, she barely moves and hardly reacts to her surroundings. I've never seen her like this. Before, she fought on the brink of death, but now it's like she's given up. She used to protest the injections and grumble a lot, but now she doesn't care. She's like a gray log.
Tonight, I had to rush her to the clinic in an emergency. They examined her for about 5 hours, did an ultrasound, took blood for analysis, put her on an IV drip...
In addition to autoimmune anemia and diabetes, Marusya has developed pancreatitis, and she's also catastrophically dehydrated. The new treatment for the autoimmune disease isn't helping; we need to go back to the previous one. But if we do, the diabetes will progress even more severely.
They suggested admitting Marusya to the intensive care unit for a few weeks so she can be under close medical supervision. It's fucking expensive, I definitely can't afford it...
I want to ease Marusya's suffering. Because of the autoimmune disease, she wouldn't have lived long anyway. But I didn't expect this to happen so quickly and suddenly after one and a half years... I can't watch her suffer. I'm too attached to her and love her so much. But I understand how bad it is for her.
The doctors offered one last attempt to save her, but it requires a lot of money. If it doesn't work, we'll finally decide to end Marusya's suffering.
That's why I'm taking emergency commissions for butts.
I'll raise the price a bit to cover the treatment—300 USD per commission.
I can only start drawing commissions a little after mid-November. If anyone wants to help, go to the Google form and fill out the blank.

The con ChillFur

This is going to be a long post about ChillFur
Recently, there was a new con in the forests of Saint Petersburg, it's named ChillFur. It was a closed con, so not many people heard about it. It was organized to test how well the organizers could manage everything and how successful the con would be. Initially, it was planned for 20-30 people, but thanks to word of mouth, the number of participants grew to almost 70, plus some guys came for just one day.
Let me tell you, everything went great. A bar, a dance floor, a pool, a sauna, food, cool atmosphere, music, hookahs—everything was fantastic! The organizers did great job! And they will decide whether to make the con open or not.
I decided to share this with you because I was asked to organize some event for the con. I've never done anything like this before, and I only had two weeks to prepare. I don't know why I agreed, but I decided to give it a try.
The best I could come up with was to organize a Squid Game, but outdoors. The grand prize was my art for the winner. This event was also a test, so everything was made from improvised materials.
All the games were kept very secret, and I even had to hide staff from prying eyes.
The first game was sugar honeycombs, just like in the series. It was a disaster; I spent three days of my life baking these cookies because they were extremely fragile and broke at the slightest touch. But I managed to bring 24 cookies to the event intact. Instead of shapes like triangle and umbrella, we had playing card symbols. Players had to choose their favorite card so they wouldn't guess the game, since most had seen the series. Out of 20 people, 13 remained "alive." The losers were shot with a water gun, lol.
The second game was blind man's bluff, where I was the host. Out of 13, only 4 were left.
The third game was a special one: find the hidden chocolate among 22 cups. The one who finds it goes to the finals and can also eliminate two participants. The person who found the chocolate did it on the first try, haha. We all advised him to go play at a casino that day.
And the last game for two was the card game "King and Beggar."
A small crowd gathered around us to see the winner. A friend played the intense music from the series, and someone filmed it. The finalists were extremely tense, very nervous, and sweating.
In the end, player number 2, Smilek_WT , won. I sincerely congratulate him. You can congratulate him too :D
Everyone enjoyed the games. I received a lot of praise, which was nice. This means I have a whole year to prepare new games, but on a larger scale, with music, a venue, and costumes!

P.S. While preparing those cookies, I burned my hands with sugar, and now I'm recovering. Drawing is terribly hard. But now I’m a professional confectioner for sugar honeycombs. Fuck.

For many years, I struggled with obsessive thoughts, internal negativity, and was very closed off and anxious. I suffered from social awkwardness and a deeply rooted sense of guilt. This made it incredibly difficult for me to live, as I wanted to be open and cheerful, and I envied those who could easily start conversations, be in the spotlight, understand others effortlessly, and take initiative.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to see a psychotherapist. I was forced to do this by a situation where even a kind gesture from someone made me feel as if I was guilty of something.
For some reason, I wasn't surprised by the preliminary diagnosis. I have an anxiety disorder. We are still figuring out which specific anxiety disorder it is.
I was prescribed a course of medication that I need to take during treatment. You know, I feel like I've been reborn. It's amazing how freeing it is to live when you truly don't care about so much around you.
A few friends said that I've become more open, cheerful, and a bit childish, while my seriousness has decreased. Ha-ha. I really enjoy these changes. It's very hard for me to hold onto negativity, it's very difficult to get offended, and the obsessive thoughts have started to fade away and no longer disturb me.
Also, maybe I don't actually have the temperament that I've lived with for so long. My true temperament was suppressed by my parents since childhood. As a result, my temperament shifted to phlegmatic. This is a natural outcome for "my" temperament when it's constantly suppressed — gradually becoming phlegmatic. Specifically, quiet, shy, anxious, nervous, contemplative, and passive.
Perhaps, in reality, I am a choleric. Explosive, impulsive, emotional, active, initiative-driven, and very stubborn.

Marusya was finally diagnosed the day before yesterday. And there are 2 news: one is good, the other one is bad. The bad one is that Marusya has an autoimmune disease. Her immunity is killing her, and because of that it needs to be suppressed. And, sadly, she is stuck with that till the end of her life.
The good one is - she is getting better way too fast. She is gaining her normal weight, and her charisma and activity returns to normal. That means her life is gonna be way easier with such a disease.
Right now doctors are planning to lower the dose of medicine, so that her organism would be able to deal with problems by itself
One of the doctors said that I'm good at dealing with this situation. Marusya feels herself just fine in my hands, and i am pleased with that.
But the best ones are you, those who supported me, both with words and donations. Huge thanks to all of you!

Something has happened that I haven't told you about for a long time. But apparently, the time has come.
Some of you might remember, I wrote a post about my deceased cat Kuzya two years ago: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10172345/
We never found out what he was sick with and why he died so quickly. Literally within a couple of days.
However, we had two cats. A boy named Kuzya and a girl named Marusya.

About a month and a half after Kuzya's death, Marusya started showing the same symptoms as him. As soon as we noticed these symptoms, my mom, brother, and I rushed to the veterinary clinic like a bullet, where they managed to save Marusya by giving her a blood transfusion. I wrote about it in my telegram post:

The thing is, for the past two years, we've been trying to save Marusya from this illness. She's still sick.
Every two months, she would get sick, and we would take her to the vet, where the doctors would give her medication and injections. Then she would get better, then bad again. And so on in a circle.
But earlier this February, the vets prescribed her a strange medication for coronavirus. My mom and I were puzzled, and my mom asked me to find acquaintances among the vets in Saint Petersburg, where I currently live, so they could explain why Marusya needed this medication.
I found a girl who works there. She asked for photos of the test results and photos of the papers with the prescribed treatment for Marusya. This girl was shocked.
In short, for these past two years, they've been sucking money from us and not even treating Marusya, not trying to figure out what she's sick with, and prescribing medications offhandedly.
I spent a month and a half persuading my mom to transfer Marusya to Saint Petersburg, but my mom agreed only when Marusya was already dying.
But fortunately, the doctors in Saint Petersburg managed to help the cat. They gave Marusya a blood transfusion.
However, the doctors need time to find out what she's sick with. Marusya suffers from some form of anemia. But which one? It's still unknown because blood needs to be taken for analysis. But when Marusya arrived in Saint Petersburg, she had a critically low amount of blood. And if more blood had been taken, she could have suffocated due to lack of oxygen. (Something in her body destroys red blood cells).

Now we have to wait two weeks for her new blood to be absorbed into her body, then we can take enough blood for analysis. For now, I have to give her injections and medication every 12 hours according to the schedule to keep her in a stable condition without sharp declines in health.
I talked to the doctors about the price. They said they couldn't say exactly how much it would cost. Because first, we need to establish the exact diagnosis, then prescribe treatment and therapy, then the price will be known.
And I'm confused. Our family can't lose another beloved pet. Marusya is the only living reminder of Kuzya. We saw them as father and daughter because they are similar, although they are not related, and we found both of them on the street. We found Kuzya as a kitten when I was 10, and we found Marusya when I was already 21.

I wrote on my Patreon that I'm taking these commissions to pay for Marusya's flight and her treatment.
However, doctor's examinations, a flight to another city, new medications, and a blood transfusion turned out to be much more expensive. I've almost spent all my money. And I can't take new commissions anymore. I'm already overwhelmed. I draw every day from morning till evening. If I take more commissions, customers will have to wait from 4 to 7 months for their orders. Current customers have already been waiting for about two months.
I'm just desperate. Friends advised me to raise funds for Marusya's future treatment. How much do I need? I don't know either. Doctors said it could be from $800 to $3000, or maybe more. Why such a range? Because there is no exact diagnosis yet, only speculations.
Should I take more commissions? I can't, because my customers are already waiting long, and they are already asking how soon it will be ready.
But it's also hard for me to organize fundraising because I will definitely face negativity towards me. I'm a very sensitive person, and any negativity throws me into depression.
I talked to friends and several of my subscribers for about a week. They are pushing me to raise funds.
It's very hard for me to ask for this, but I do it for Marusya. I love her with all my heart. She's my favorite bundle of nerves. (We call her that because she's very nervous by nature).

Something has happened that I haven't told you about for a long time. But apparently, the time has come.

We never found out what he was sick with and why he died so quickly. Literally within a couple of days.
However, we had two cats. A boy named Kuzya and a girl named Marusya.

About a month and a half after Kuzya's death, Marusya started showing the same symptoms as him. As soon as we noticed these symptoms, my mom, brother, and I rushed to the veterinary clinic like a bullet, where they managed to save Marusya by giving her a blood transfusion. I wrote about it in my telegram post:

The thing is, for the past two years, we've been trying to save Marusya from this illness. She's still sick.
Every two months, she would get sick, and we would take her to the vet, where the doctors would give her medication and injections. Then she would get better, then bad again. And so on in a circle.
But earlier this February, the vets prescribed her a strange medication for coronavirus. My mom and I were puzzled, and my mom asked me to find acquaintances among the vets in Saint Petersburg, where I currently live, so they could explain why Marusya needed this medication.
I found a girl who works there. She asked for photos of the test results and photos of the papers with the prescribed treatment for Marusya. This girl was shocked.
In short, for these past two years, they've been sucking money from us and not even treating Marusya, not trying to figure out what she's sick with, and prescribing medications offhandedly.
I spent a month and a half persuading my mom to transfer Marusya to Saint Petersburg, but my mom agreed only when Marusya was already dying.
But fortunately, the doctors in Saint Petersburg managed to help the cat. They gave Marusya a blood transfusion.
However, the doctors need time to find out what she's sick with. Marusya suffers from some form of anemia. But which one? It's still unknown because blood needs to be taken for analysis. But when Marusya arrived in Saint Petersburg, she had a critically low amount of blood. And if more blood had been taken, she could have suffocated due to lack of oxygen. (Something in her body destroys red blood cells).

Now we have to wait two weeks for her new blood to be absorbed into her body, then we can take enough blood for analysis. For now, I have to give her injections and medication every 12 hours according to the schedule to keep her in a stable condition without sharp declines in health.
I talked to the doctors about the price. They said they couldn't say exactly how much it would cost. Because first, we need to establish the exact diagnosis, then prescribe treatment and therapy, then the price will be known.
And I'm confused. Our family can't lose another beloved pet. Marusya is the only living reminder of Kuzya. We saw them as father and daughter because they are similar, although they are not related, and we found both of them on the street. We found Kuzya as a kitten when I was 10, and we found Marusya when I was already 21.

I wrote on my Patreon that I'm taking these commissions to pay for Marusya's flight and her treatment.
However, doctor's examinations, a flight to another city, new medications, and a blood transfusion turned out to be much more expensive. I've almost spent all my money. And I can't take new commissions anymore. I'm already overwhelmed. I draw every day from morning till evening. If I take more commissions, customers will have to wait from 4 to 7 months for their orders. Current customers have already been waiting for about two months.
I'm just desperate. Friends advised me to raise funds for Marusya's future treatment. How much do I need? I don't know either. Doctors said it could be from $800 to $3000, or maybe more. Why such a range? Because there is no exact diagnosis yet, only speculations.
Should I take more commissions? I can't, because my customers are already waiting long, and they are already asking how soon it will be ready.
But it's also hard for me to organize fundraising because I will definitely face negativity towards me. I'm a very sensitive person, and any negativity throws me into depression.
I talked to friends and several of my subscribers for about a week. They are pushing me to raise funds.
It's very hard for me to ask for this, but I do it for Marusya. I love her with all my heart. She's my favorite bundle of nerves. (We call her that because she's very nervous by nature).
If anyone can afford to donate to me for Marusya's treatment, I will be very, very grateful. You will help me pay for her treatment and finally cure her.
