Yep yep yep....one year ago today i stepped off the buss(after 4 days on the buss) and into the waiting arms of  yaegashi .
This year has been one of the most enjoyable of my life.
I have fully recovered from the loss of(tho i still miss him)  mudpaws and the year of utter hell and misery that followed.
i had many plans for this most auspicious day but sadly...budget constraints prevent them all.
One of my plans was to take us to the Wildfire which is where wessy took me after i got off the buss(before taking me home).
Thought it would be a nice gift and kinda romantic.
Ah well...the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray...im just happy to be here and able to spend the day with him.

As the title says...im offering my skills to help pay bills round here.
For those who havnt kept up on my journals...wessy is no longer getting unemployment and the bills are piling up.

Last month i arranged a little get together for today at a local Pizza Buffete at 4pm.
This will be the first time meeting the furries round here(since the spring gathering at hard rock didn't go as planned) so im very excited about this.
Was worried with recent financial concerns i wouldn't be able to attend.
Luckly i can still atend due to having canceled a 70$ order for my antibacterial medications(to finish paying rent) and had just enough left over to pay for wessy and myself(thankfully....this pizza place is cheep).
Must admit to some worry tho...will i be able to overcome my initial shyness round so many new furs?
What will they think of me?
Can i truely be myself or should i tone it down a little for them?

Kinda ironic actually...i had begun making plans for some commissions 2 days ago...now...i dont care about them...and feel bad for even making plans in the first place(thankfully...none of the artist started work on them)...im really scared here.

 yaegashi was taken off unemployment about a day ago...and has yet to be hired by any schools...even tho he spends nearly the entirety of every day filling out applications...and by now has exhausted all options for applications.

This month and following months will very difficult for us...his mom is helping but it will require the entirety of my ssi to pay the bills...which means i wont have any money to spend on medicines to fight this bacterial skin infection.

Im scared....i think his mom will only help for a few months,considering how bitchy she is being about lending us the money to pay bills...we could very likely lose this place...and i would have nowhere to go except back to Michigan with my mom while wessy will have to move back in with his own parents.

Wessy is currently fighting with the unemployment agency to get an extension...but im not very hopeful of the outcome.

Know any good animators that don't charge hundreds of dollars?
Im Hoping to get an animation of my fursona entangled in vines and getting raped...kinda a magic spell gone wrong kinda thing.
Only problem is...the only good animator i know of charges upwards to 500$....and even tho the person who will be raping my fursona has agreed to pay half the cost of an animation that is still too much money for us even split in half.

So here is where the free art chance comes in.

Then i will offer to commission a pic with me free of charge to the person who submitted the animator i end up going with.

OMFG....OMG...
I met my childhood idol today...had a good chat with him...heard some cool stories from behind the scenes of Pinky and the Brain as well as from Ghostbusters and even had my picture taken with him...which ill be posting soon.

Maurice LaMarche is an amazing man...friendly,cheerful,down to earth and just a real joy to be around...he has this energy about him that just makes you feel like the world is a groovy place.
Gods that was AWESOME....i have many fond memories of watching the Real Ghostbusters and of Egon in particular....Egon was the character i that kept me watching every week...to finally meet the man behind the voice is an experience way beyond my wildest dreams.

Wessy and i came home after that....i was hungry and somewhat stressed....i cant take large crowds of people for very long and we were there for 4 hours.
Tomarow...we shall mingle and hopefully make some friends (preferably ones that live nearby)

First day was short but sweet..
We got registration done and walked around a bit taking in the sites.
 yaegashi spent 20$ of his half of the con money in one of the slotmachines...and won 80$

Tomorrow we will be staying longer...good thing too....i found out that my all time fave voice actor,Maurice LaMarche will be coming tomorrow as one of the con guests.
For those of you who don't know who he is you may recognize some of his roles.
He did the voice of Brain in Pinky and the Brain...and was in my opinion a better Egon Spengler than Harold Ramis.

 yaegashi and i will be attending since all we have to pay is registration.
Im excited....gonna be totally bodacious being round so many local furs....im hoping to make many friends there.
Im so happy that i am practically prancing like a pony.

Sounds really silly....i know.
However....when EVERY Happy moment in your life has ended with whatever caused you to be happy in the first place being taken away from you....ya tend to worry anytime ya feel the slightest joy over something or someone.

Now before any of you tell me some asinine BS about me bringing it on myself because i constantly think about it and worry about it happening...just stop right now because that statement is invalid.

It wasn't till a cruel twist of fate robbed me of my ability to see  mudpaws last year that i began to notice the pattern and start worrying.

Like now...i am happier than i have ever been...but something looms over my head causing me to be depressed.
Before the year ends....if  yaegashi has not found a job...his unemployment will run out and the money i get from SSI will be insufficient to sustain us...he will be forced to move back in with his parents and i will have to move back to Michigan and slowly become the emo depressed neurotic mouse i was before i moved here to Nevada.

Yaegashi has told me that if it looks like he wont find a job as that time draws near he will sign up for SSI....however acceptance can take anywhere from a month to 3 years....even Mudpaws with all his health problems had to wait close to 6 months and appeal 2 rejections before he was finally accepted.

I wish i could flip a switch in my brain and turn off the worry....then i could enjoy whatever time i have left with Yaegashi to its fullest.

Thinking back on the past few years....after losing the ability to be with  Mudpaws .... i did not think id ever be happy again.
Seriously....i was in the darkest most loneliest place imaginable...every day was a test of how much pain i could endure and still retain the will to live.

There were times i sat on the toilet with a bottle of pills in my hand,tears streaming down my face and going over(in my mind) the reasons why i shouldn't just chug the bottle of pills and end that horrible misery i called a life.
Im very glad that i did not go thru with it...i would have died alone having never experienced the level of joy i find myself experiencing this Valentines day.

Not only will i be spending it with someone who loves me...someone i am living with and wants to live the rest of his life with me(and this time...gasp...actually means it)...but i also am now more alive than i have ever truly been in my life...every day i wake up next to  yaegashi is another day of experiencing the joys of all the little things he does that make me feel wanted,loved and happy.
The "Impossible Dream" has become reality....i am Loved.

I am very grateful to all my friends who provided me with emotional support during my darkest hours(  Cindercheth and  dotter most of all....seriously...you 2 REALLY helped me more than you could ever possibly fathom)...really i am...even if it seems like im avoiding everyone since i moved here to Nevada...to be honest....i just dont have a reason to be online 24/7 anymore...before i would talk to friends online to keep myself sane(if you can call the miserable wretch that i was,sane) but now....now all i have to do is snuggle with the kitty and im happy...i am hardly online anymore.

So...to anyone reading this and is spending this holiday alone....dont despair...if someone like me can find love then there is hope for ANYONE.

 Yaegashi and i saw the trailer to the film when we went with his sister to see The Hobbit a month ago...we knew it was the sequel to The Happening the moment we heard the line "Everything on this planet has evolved to kill humans"

The way The Happening ended was a dead giveaway that M. Night Shyamalan was not done with the concept of earth trying to kill us...i decided then and there to treat the kitty and myself to the film the moment it comes out in theaters...June 7th.

I should have just enough to take us to the theater....as well as enough money for something i have planed for our 1st anniversary on June 20th...i for one cant wait...June is gonna be the best month...EVER

As this year draws to a close i find myself pondering the unexpected turn my life has taken.

This year started out so dark and miserable for me...i was at my lowest point emotionally,just trying to gather the strength to face another horrible day...then halfway through the year...i move to Nevada to be with  yaegashi and the year(and my life) does a complete 180.

Now,as this year ends i look forward to the next and what surprises it has in store...however...i do feel a bit of trepidation as well....all it would take is a cruel twist of fate and id be right back where i was when i lost my ability to be with  mudpaws .....
Alone....miserable....and enduring the misery....one day at a time.
