General | Posted 10 years agoSplatoon Yogurt
General | Posted 10 years agoYup. If you have a Yogurty store or a Yogen Fruz near by, you might be able to get some Splatoon yogurt.
You'll be able to get three flavours: the Squidsicle sorbet, Inkberry froyo, and Squid Ink, which is a mixture of the other two.
You'll even be able to get little ink balls filled with mango or strawberry flavoured juice to go with it. They look like the things that they put in bubble tea.

Beware of the Bunny Man!
General | Posted 10 years agoDamn furries!
I have no idea how true this story is on this site, but it's a fun urban legend story. It's about an escaped mental patient and some attacks from a guy in a bunny suit.

I found a cool furry-style animated music video.
General | Posted 11 years agoNow, it is a Kesha song, and I don't think that she can sing for shit, but this video is pretty cool.
It's fan-animated by vivzmind, and the she has a few other animations on her YouTube page.

Morons from Greenpeace Damage Peruvian Landmark
General | Posted 11 years agohttp://nyti.ms/1uy0ARw
A bunch of activists from Greenpeace went out to a restricted part of the Peruvian desert to put up a giant sign near the Nazca geoglyphs.
The giant images were made over a thousand years ago, and, until this stunt, were in pristine condition. The activists left foot prints all over the site of one the best-kept images.
These Greenpeace people are idiots, and they never seem to give any thought into their actions.

Unified Weapons Master. Fighting in Kick-Ass Armour.
General | Posted 11 years agoThere's this thing called Unified Weapons Master, and it looks really cool. A couple of guys in padded armour wail on each other as hard as they can, and neither will get hurt.
It was made up by a group of Australians so that masters of different fighting styles could go all-out without worrying about hurting the other person.
The suits have sensors that can measure the force that the opponent made, and compares it to what would have happened if they weren't wearing the armour.
I'd love to put on one of these suits and just smack someone around.

Power Rangers Playing Violins? Power Rangers Playing Violins
General | Posted 11 years agoI watch a guy on YouTube called Gimmieaflakeman. He makes videos about life in Japan, and some topics that come up there.
I guess he was at some sort of festival, and there were some Power Rangers playing violins on a small stage. They're in the video a couple of times, but the first appearance is at 3:13, and the second time is a few seconds later.

Of Monsters and Men Music Videos
General | Posted 12 years agoI just saw the music videos for Of Monsters and Men's new album, My Head is an Animal. The album has been out since April of last year, but it's the first time I really listened to the songs. They have a similar sound to Mumford and Sons, and remind me of music you might get from Newfoundland and Labrador.
These videos are stunning to say the least. They're a mix between live action and animation, and are very creative.

New Disney Movies Announced
General | Posted 12 years agoI'm not really a fan of recent Disney movies, mostly because they're so lowest-common-denominator, and they take cheap and worn gags instead of something intelligent, but there was a movie that was recently announced that piqued my interest.
This movie is called "Zootopia," and it takes place in a world where animals rule the Earth, and humans never existed. All of the locations and societies are going to be made as though the animals themselves made them.
Synopsis:
"In the animal city of Zootopia, a fast-talking fox who's trying to make it big goes on the run when he's framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Zootopia's top cop, a self-righteous rabbit, is hot on his tail, but when both become targets of a conspiracy, they're forced to team up and discover even natural enemies can become best friends."
Foxes and bunnies. What can go wrong?
The movie is scheduled for 2016, and I'm going to be watching out for this one.

Dust: An Elysian Tail. Y It Not Bigger With Furries?
General | Posted 13 years agoHave you heard about Dust: An Elysian Tail? It's a 2D side scroller that has been out for a few months now. I've only played the demo so far, but I think it's really great. It has great hack-and-slash, some RPG elements, a crafting system, and the game is down right beautiful.
It is also chock-filled with anthro animals. So, why don't I hear many people talking about it? It's a perfect furry game from what I can tell. It even has a cute, sexy aide-thingy. I think furries should give it a try.

Today's Word Is....
General | Posted 13 years agoMercaptan.
Ethyl mercaptan is the chemical they add to natural gas and propane that smells like rotten eggs so that you can detect a leak.
It also sounds like "murr captain." Drink up, me maties. Yo ho!
I have recently started going to school to become a gas technician. I'll learn how to work with natural gas, propane, furnaces, air conditioners, and all sorts of kick-ass stuff. If I work hard, I'll get my license. Here's to studying hard and a future career!

I Just Rediscovered an Old Show I Used to Watch
General | Posted 14 years agoDid any of you used to watch 'Fables of the Green Forest'?
I remember I used to watch that show all the time on TVO when I was a kid. I could remember a little bit about it, but I stumbled on the title today, and watched an episode on YouTube.
While I'm making this, does anyone remember a kid's show where the host had a magic looking glass?
"I see Jimmy, and Sally, and Keith, and..." That show.
Edit: Ha! Never mind. The one with the mirror is Romper Room.

FE and Whatnot
General | Posted 14 years agoI'd like to start off by thanking everyone who has started watching me recently. I'm really glad that you like my pictures enough that you would start watching.
I'd also like to thank everyone who set up, went to, or had anything to do with Furnal Equinox this year. I had a huge blast. I met so many people, and had so much fun. Each morning was like waking up to Christmas, and running downstairs to the tree (the con space was the tree.) I hope to see everyone next year.
With Furnal Equinox now over, I'm now setting my sights on my next stop. Furry Connection North. This con is going to be extra special. Its theme is 'Ages of Japan,' which is appropriate since that's when the Japanese holiday of Hana Matsuri (Flower Festival) takes place. It's the celebration of the Buddha's day of birth. It also happens to be my day of birth! So if you see me around the con space, give me a big birthday hug!
This is also a good time to point everyone to my YouTube page. When I get the chance, I'll post some of the video from FE2011.

Blood Donations
General | Posted 15 years agoLast week I went out and donated my blood to the Red Cross. I think it was the twentieth time I had done it. I've been trying to do it as regularly as possible.
For some reason, I love giving blood. I don't know if it's the knowledge that you're helping to save up to three lives with one donation, or if it's the free pop and cookies. It just makes me feel good to give.
I highly recommend to the few people who will read this that they should take an hour out of one of their days, and donate.
I know that some people don't like needles, or the sight of blood, but it's worth the time. They have a better needle now that they use to prick your finger with when they test your iron levels, and the needle they put in your arm doesn't even hurt. I bet your annoying brother or sister can pinch you worse than the needle can.
Go here. Learn. Give.

Urban Dictionary meme
General | Posted 15 years agoI've never done a meme before, but I liked the answers for mine too much to pass this up.
Yoinked from

Rules:
Go to https://www.urbandictionary.com and type in your answers to the following questions.
Post a definition it gives you.
1) Your name?
Hiro (This is where I got the name BTW)
- Hiro Nakamura is a fictional character on the NBC drama Heroes who possesses the ability to teleport and manipulate the space-time continuum. He is played by actor Masi Oka.
(I like this one) 1-A name for a male who is a Hero to everyone. Furthermore, the name expresses the greatness behind all when it comes to sex. Cases show that it is easier for femals to orgasm the word 'Hiro' because the lack of air allows the word to slip out. (Please try at home; preferably at times when your parents are not at home so they do not mistaken you with les, gay, or bi. For those who are single, les, gay or bi, feel free to try anytime!)
2. Those who are named Hiro are very outgoing people.
3. There are many suffixes. (ex. Hiro-ko, Hiro-masa, Hiro-ki etc.)
3. There are many prefixes. (ex. Taka-hiro, Masa-hiro, Kuni-hiro etc.)
4. People named Hiro are sexy people. They mostly attract females (in cases males).
5. Those who care about others the most are named Hiro. They are constantly on the watch for any of their friends, relatives, or people in general who desire help.
2) Your age?
25 -
The age at which one can finally rent a car in the United States without being charged enormous amounts of money and without having to sign thousands of papers for that matter. So, a half-blind 70-year-old just got his license, rents a car a kills 5 people is more acceptable than a 24-year-old who has been driving for up to 10 years without an accident.
3) One of your friends?
I don't think I have any close furry friends. There are people I've hung out with a few times, but I don't get to see them that often to call them a close friend. I'll do a non-furry friend.
Luke - (this isn't too far from the truth)
From the Latin meaning "light" he motivates others by gentle persuasion a natural born leader.
A person who has this name tends to be
Very loyal, respectful, fearless, outgoing, idealistic, fun loving, competive nature
But due to a very loyal and fearless nature these two combined will mean Luke is a force to be reckoned with.
And also attracts quite a lot of female attention due to these characteristics
4) What should you be doing?
Sleeping (It's 3:37am right now) -
When u close your eyes and think of perverted things, which will never actually happen.
5) Favourite colour?
Blue - The hue of the portion of the visible spectrum lying between green and indigo, evoked in a human observer by radiant energy with wavelengths of approximately 420 to 490 nanometers.
6) Birthplace?
Brantford - (I went to BCI) The coolest town in all of Canada. A place where you can learn to play guitar, go to the library, and buy crystal meth all on one street. The people are rude, the down town is a hole, and the high schools are breeding grounds for sluts. There's only one bookstore and the mall is shit. There are more Tim Hortons than gas stations. The kids are selfish brats, and you can get mugged walking your dog. More people smoke pot here than in Amsterdam. There are five high schools-no one counts tolgate-which are Assumption, BCI, North Park, PJ, and St. John's. The town has limited night spots, and these spots are trashy dumps. But still, Brantford is the coolest place in Canada. You have to live here to get it.
7) Month of your birth?
April - the month were the sexiest bitches are born
8) Last person you talked to?
Don (a guy at work) - 1. Head of any mafia crime family.
2. Dom Perignon. Expensive Champagne.
Often called 'Don' in the suburbs and hood as a joke that we don't know what it is.
3. 'The Don'. Is Sir Donald Bradman, the greatest ever cricketer. Averaged 99 runs per test innings.
9) One of your nick names?
Colonel - A Military rank for an Officer usualy below general and above Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Captain, and Lieutenant.
- Kentucky Fried Chicken or KFC fast food joint; after its deceased mascot, Col. Harlan Sanders
