Looking for some changes

I just wanted to write here today to let you know that I might do some changes about my artworks. You see... I'm starting to feel that my style is not good or attractive enough... I've been doing adopts again, and those designs are starting to get old and I don't see I'm reaching enough public who wants them. I know the problem might be the prices, but I do commissions and this for a living, and I've seen other artists not so far from my level of skill having better results than me and... it's frustrating sometimes, and some bad news are not helping me feeling better.
So I thought about doing some experiments with my way of drawing adopts... You'll see the results soon. For now, since the future designs will be experiments, I think I'll keep them at a price of maybe 15$ for flat sales, and I'm thinking about giving it a try to auctions, in that case would be a price a little lower for the SB (starting bid). BUT, when I feel comfortable about the new way I'll find to draw adopts, expect a price increase.

I hope you had happy holidays last year :D I wanted to do this post to let you know I'm back to work on art again. ALSO, I'm starting this year saying: bye to the old things, hello to the new things. Soooo... I decided to do a purge of the list of adoptables I've been posting almost -everyday- during last year, those who follow me for some time knows which list I'm referring to xD Personally, I don't want anything with those old designs anymore, I'm tired of seeing them. I can simply delete them? Yes, but that would be throw the effort of drawing them to the trash. And I don't like that. So I hope with this drop of price anyone claims them.
In any case, the purge price of normal adopts is 10$
AND the purge price of pkmn adopts is 7$

Commissions update 2

I wanted to give a new update. First, thanks to every person who helped me with the emergency commissions, it gave me time to recover my savings, I really appreciate it ^^ Since I'm out of the danger zone, I'll put back my commissions to their original prices. For now, I'm going to rest for some days, doing commission after commission almost gave me a burnout (I knew the risk, but I needed the money), I need to rest my hand.
In any case, that would be all. I hope you all have a good day ^^

Just a quick journal to let you know this offer. Just like the title says, I gave my actual designs available a discount. So, if there was a design that catched your eye, this is your opportunity to get it. And I'm accepting holds, so if you don't have the money right now but you know you can get it soon, you can ask me to put the design on hold until then, and it's safe from someone else getting it before. Just contact me on discord to let me know.
The price of almost all of the adopts is 15$.

Any discord server suggestions?

I wanted to ask if anybody knows any discord server for adoptables sales (if it's one that allows spicy designs, better. It's a little uncomfortable to think about posting my designs where it's all family friendly while my art it's suggestive -w-''). I use one to advertise my adopts list, but I don't get too much sales there... I use YCH commishes and YCH art too, but still it's the same result, so I wanted to see if there's other options I can use. Any suggestions is welcome, just let me know and I'll research that.
Also, I don't know if it's a good idea because I don't know if there would be people interested but, what if I do personal discord server to post my adopts? Maybe it would be a good option for regular clients to see beforehand what I'm working on and maybe reserve the design before I finish it, even there can be a suggestions channel or something when I need ideas. Still I don't know if that would be necessary, I don't feel that I have too much people waiting to pay for my new designs s:

Life Update....

I'm definitely not having the best start of the year... I wanted to do this journal once I was a little recovered, because this affects my communication with you and my work. So,here it is... As I said before: this is not the best start for the year, not only I had problems with my health, now... my dad passed away a few days ago. It has been a painful experience, and my life without him will never be the same... I still have my brothers and my mom, so we will be ok. Still, my mom it's my responsability, so I have to take care of her more than never.
It will take me time to draw more adopts again, but not too much because I still have to pay my visit to the doctor and medicines. I'm still available for commission requests, but for now I'll be putting request on my stand by list, I hope you undertand my situation...
And thanks again to all my clients for the support I received until now, I'm really grateful for your trust in my work.

This will be short. I just wanted to inform you that I did a little change to my YCH services, because I wanted to expand the options here for everyone's pockets.
So, I made the following tier list of options to work with the bases:
6$: sketch
15$: lineart
20$: flat color
25$: full shading
60$: character sheet
80$: character sheet + explicit nude version
The extra versions are still the same, except for the sheet options.
I hope you like this change, and sorry for the inconveniences. Here´s the folder of my available bases with the new tier list in their descriptions:

Life and health update 2

Here I am updating you about my health, I almost forgot to write the journal, but here we go.
I'm feeling better, but the results of my exams shown that I have gallbladder stones... The doctor gave me the recipe for my treatment and I've been taking it normally, sadly it's a long process and I have to take care of myself very carefully. At least the doctor told me that I can draw again, and I NEED to draw, because my medicines doesn't cost 2$... And I don't have too much income to relax about that, I even had to use my savings to pay the visits to the doctor ;w; I hope that I can recover a little of my savings for the next visit of next month.
Well, that's it. I'm back for now, so I'm taking commissions again if anyone is interested, and later I'll work on new adopts. Still, I think I'll have to look on other online places what jobs I can get, it's a complicated situation -w-''

I had to go through exams and this week I could finally meet the right doctor. And well, I was told to take a rest for the moment and follow a treatment, that I hope it works out, because in a bad case scenario I'll had to go to surgery -w-'' So, I'm taking care of myself.
That's why it'll take some time before I do more adopts or commissions. When I recover, I'll let you know.

I'm recovering so, I don't think I can draw any time soon... I'm writing today to let you know that, I've been thinking lately of doing the last adopts of the year for christmas, maybe four girls with classic red christmas outfit (also maybe including the nude version for free, you know, christmas-only offer). But I'm a little short of ideas to decide between species s: Of the four adoptables, I'm thinking of drawing a husky dog and a polar bear or bunny, but I don't know what to do for the other 2 species... a dragon? a feline?
That's why I wanted to ask for some suggestions if there's anything. Just let me know in the comments and I'll consider it ^^
And if by any chance, any of the 4 adopts are of your liking, I'm accepting holds, so you don't have to worry about anyone else claiming before you c:

I wish I could say the same s: I've been struggling again with money and the adopts, and I'm having problems at home with my parents. Since I need money ASAP, I decided to do a new discount to my adopts, soon I will post a image. Normally I don't like to do discounts because that's not the true value of my work, but in times like this I don't have other options ;m; Remember this is my main source of income, and it gives me more than a normal job in my country. I wish I could do more things, but my right hand's health sometimes draws me back, once I was THIS close to get a tendinitis, but thankfully it didn't got worse, I'm okay now but I can't overload myself of work.
I want to say thanks again to all people who bought me an adopt or asked me a commission, sorry I repeat myself too much, but seriously, I would be in a worse situation at home if it weren't for you. ;w;

Almost got scammed + life update

Here I have some notices. First, all is in order about my health, all I need is to keep doing my treatment like the doctor said. Thank god a friend helped me with some commissions to afford the medicine.
Second, I almost got scammed. Thank god I didn't lose any money. Some random guy who contacted me wanted a commission and insisted on doing another payment method through paypal instead of my invoices. Thank god I thought on contacting paypal support, because I got some weird emails about the payment that didn't make any sense.
Since all this happened, I wanted to let you know: INVOICES ARE A MUST. This method it's not only for a more comfort way of paying, it's for SAFETY, that way the money doesn't get lost and I won't have a heart attack thinking where the money went. If you are someone new wanting a commission from me and don't like this method, I'm sorry but you'll have to look for someone else...
That said, I want to say thanks again to all the people who bought an adopt or asked a commission from me. After experiencing this case with this bad person, I really appreciate more my usual clients. Thank you so much for your honesty!

I'll think what can I do for more cheaper adopts. Since my full work it's not getting enough results, I'll have to lower the level of effort -w-'' Maybe I'll do adopts on chibi style, non-anthro magical beasts or something, I don't know.

I'm writing today asking for some help. It's been a little difficult to sell my adopts lately, and sometimes I'm tired of reposting the reminders. I tried posting my work on Deviantart and YCH Commishes, but still my work doesn't get enough attention. I'm patient, but this of doing the weekly work and not getting at least one sale or commission it's a little rough for me, since this is my main source of income -w-''
I wanted to ask if anyone knows any other platforms where people can buy/sell adopts, I'm open to suggestions.
Oh by the way, maybe I'll be slowing down this week, I have some college stuffs to do...

I don't if anyone was curious about it, but I was a week away of work because I had some issues... More exactly paypal issues. Not going to ellaborate what happened, but I'm just going to say it was low kick for me. A mistake I did almost 10 years ago did his thing, and well, here we are... Thank god all that headache just ended, and I can have a fresh new start.
I'm going to return to work here as always, so I hope I can keep receiving your support, for which I'm always grateful ;w;
I don't if anyone was curious about it, but I was a week away of work because I had some issues... More exactly paypal issues. Update about my situation and adopts

I wanted to open up a little about my situation, because that will affect the adopts I post. First I want to remind that, these arts of mine are my main source of income. I'm from Venezuela, and well, the economic situation here it's complicated as most people in the world know, and a normal job here don't pay as much as I earn on internet. XmX Now, for the next point, I'm going through some hard times where I'll need money for some health expenses, like the medicine for my mom, and later a visit to the doctor for me, since I have a little problem that I need to check, and the doctors here are not cheap, so, I need to save some money s:
Normally I do adopts for set prices, since that way let me earn what I need for the food on the table and save for other expenses. But at the moment, since I'm a little in the rush for the money, I'm thinking on leaving my next adopts for auctions with a starting bid of 10$. Until now, my auctions don't explode on bids, so, at least I get that minimum and you get something more cheaper for a limited time. When I can be more stable, I'll return to the regular set prices.
Still I remind you that if you want something in particular for design, you can ask for a commission ;3 That helps me too.
And thanks again to all who have bought an adopt from me, you don't know how much that helped me and my family.
