Well, it looks like I will be undergoing a name change after all! The reason is several people find my name either difficult to say, or if they can say it, report that it takes too much effort. So since I'd rather not use my real/legal name, especially out and about at fur meets and what not I'll be changing it as soon as I can think of a suitable replacement. This time I'll make sure it's reasonably pronounceable |3

When the new name is decided I will of course have to make a new account, to which I will post links. Luckily I hadn't posted anything terribly impressive here anyway.

So I am in the process of moving right now!

So because I recently attended Rainfurrest and made a bunch of fantastic new friends I feel like I should write something here to better introduce myself. I'll be as concise as possible.

Basically, I've known about furry for a long time, had a lot of furry friends for a steady year now and it just seemed like a good idea to actually try participating in the fandom and interacting with the community at large to see if it was a place/thing I'd like to be, so what better way to achieve immersion than a convention? Luckily, I had way more fun than I thought I would have! I walked away knowing a bunch of new, interesting people and wanting a tail of my own.

So being fairly new to actually participating, I didn't really have a character or name to go by but I needed one because being nameless would have just been too odd. I picked hlessi to be a placeholder for now; I may decide to go with that, I may decide on something else and if so I'll post an announcement here. I was also looking for a new handle just to post art by before all this too, so maybe they'll be the same. Anyway, I take names pretty seriously so I don't want to rush into one; thanks in advance for being patient.

As for a fursona, my plan is to draw up some different character designs and see what resonates with me the most. But I'll be surprised if rabbit doesn't end up being at least part of it.

Also thanks to :foxxghost: for letting me follow him around the convention! The same goes for :cyricdravane:, :CarienLeswyrn: and :sui-san: plus anyone else I don't have on FA yet XD
