FuSeGa - Custom content
Posted 12 years agoI recently realized that I could copy paste most of my code into JavaScript to create JSON strings to load into the custom objects. I created a JSFiddle if anyone want to toy with it. http://jsfiddle.net/gznE2/
Keep in mind FuSeGa uses a very poor syntax, so you'll probably have to mess a lot with it. And you should also probably delete the parts in the script that you don't need or it will overwrite existing content. If you load custom content, a button on the main screen will appear that lets you delete all custom content.
Custom content is ADDED and only overwrites existing content by name, so if you create some content you can share the JSON texts to allow other people to play with your mods. Have fun.

Fixed a bunch of bugs (though I'm expecting more to crop up)

Posted 12 years agoI fixed some stability issues, no new texts. I know there is still a showstopper bug but I'll need more info about it as it seems to be happening very randomly.

So far I've gotten some great submissions, but I could always use more, especially now while I'm still working on it and can make changes to accommodate new features.
What do I need help with currently?
Any texts really, but fates (punishments) in particular. Punishments work just like in FuSeGa, except you get to pick your target, and the fates have been aptly named "Reward", "Punish" and "None". Some energy attacks need more texts as well, here is a list of all attacks (and the ones needing texts):
Summoner:
- (Texts needed) Arouse: Uses a spell to arouse a player.
- Tendrils: Covers your target in squirming tentacles.
- Meditate: Clears some arousal but stuns you for 1 round.
- Sensitivity: Increases you target's arousal generated for 5 rounds.
Fighter:
- (Texts needed) Ravage: Arouses your target in a masochistic way.
- Harden: Lowers arousal generated for 5 rounds and clears exhaustion.
- (Texts needed) Ram: Ram an enemy, either pouncing, exhausting or stunning them.
- Demoralize: Lowers the target's "arousal-generation-power" for 5 rounds.
Prowler:

Posted 12 years agoI had the idea that clothes and props could have little icons if anyone feels like sketching up some. I'd prefer if they were 50x50px and PNG with alpha backgrounds.
Here is a list of the current props and clothes:
Props:
- Feather (for tickling)
Clothes (all greyscale):
- Thong - "A standard cotton thong."
- Khaki Slacks - "A pair of normal, khaki pants. A little loose fitting, but respectable."
- Boxer Shorts - "A standard pair of spandex boxer shorts."
- Dress Shirt - "A finely tailored shirt, comes with a tie too!"
- Jockstrap - "A jockstrap that hugs your frame nicely. Offers no protection from the rear though."
- Sweatpants - "Sweatpants with white stripes on the side. The cheap type of clothing for beginners."
- Sweatshirt - "A speckled sweatshirt with a hood. Cheap type of clothing for beginners.";
I'm currently working on adding a config screen, then combat but it will probably still be a while before I got something that can be tested. I'll most likely post the first couple of versions without PVP as I'll need to know that the system itself is stable before I try adding it in.

Today I've scripted most of the store, I decided against my original idea of having item sets, and instead have split the store into categories.
Another thing that I thought FuSeGa lacked was a way to recolor your clothes. So I've added in a way to dye your clothing from the (also new) inventory menu. So you will be able to own more clothes than you wear. Dying clothes will cost a lil bit of in game money.

Nothing motivates me more to work on this game than getting some really nice texts to add, as they also give me ideas to write more texts myself, so send me a couple of notes with texts and items that you'd like to see.

I'm not sure if losing a game should award any experience, but it won't remove any and a loss will still reward you with a bit of money.

For you who want to help out with YAFSeG writing, here's a reference and some example texts. I've already gotten a couple of nice ones submitted, but it's still faaar from enough.
Texts are just texts with a couple of constants thrown into them. For an example:
The constants all consists of 2 parts, the target (ex: A_) and the constant (ex: NAME).
A_ - Attacker, the person who triggered the attack.
T_ - Target, the person the attack was aimed towards.
These are the most common ones, but you can also use:
PT_ - PounceTarget - The person who is pounced or pouncing Target (T_).
For an example, if John is pouncing Jane (above) and Dan is targeting an attack towards both the players, the text would be something like:
"A_NAME smacks T_NAME and PT_NAME's butts while they're busy wrestling on the ground."
Which would output something like "Dan smacks John and Jane's butts while they're busy wrestling on the ground."
FR_ - Friend - Coop mode only, your team mate
EN_ - Enemy - The other enemy player. Say Dan, Jane and John are in a 3-way game. Dan uses an attack on John, but the attack affects all enemies: "A_NAME casts a cloth-destroying spell, damaging T_NAME and EN_NAME's clothes!"
The targets are followed by one of the following items (where X is replaced by target):
X_MF // Returns male or female
X_HE // Returns he or she
X_HIM // Returns him or her
X_HIS // Returns his or her
X_RACE // Returns species (fox, rabbit, etc)
X_PROP // Returns Prop worn (dildo, feather etc)
X_C_LOWER // Returns the name of the outermost of the target's lower clothing
X_C_INNER // Returns the name of the innermost of the target's lower clothing
X_C_UND // Returns the name of the target's underwear

- Don't start a sentence with he/she, start it with their name or species instead to lower confusion of who's hitting who.
- Single lines only, keep the text fairly short and to the point. The exception being punishments where you're free to write long texts with multiple paragraphs, should you want to.
- Use proper grammar and spelling to the best of your ability. I always check the text before I add it, but it would save me a lot of time.
- Keep it fairly vanilla, harder fetishes (vore, unbirthing etc) might go into the game later, but for now I'd rather keep it more simple. I'm currently on the fence about tentacles (non-egg-laying), so I'll let the community decide about them. More tame fetishes (bondage, tickling, spanking etc) are fair game.
Here are some more examples:
(Missed Arousing attack against any target)
"A_NAME attempts to grope T_NAME, but fails."
(Masochistic attack against a male with an exposed penis)

I've opted for a way to use specie-packages in addition to custom texts bound to a single asset. This means a text can be added for characteristics: There can be texts specific to species with claws, or horns. For clothing there can be texts specific to skirts, body-suits, thongs, and such. I think right now I have a shirt that comes with a tie, and there's a text where a player manages to grab a hold of the tie and initiate a grapple. So use your imagination freely, as there are less limits in this game than there were in FuSeGa.
Let me know if you want more info. Don't worry too much about coming up with plausible conditions, YAFSeG is pretty flexible, so let your fantasies be the limit.

Clothes need the following added:
Name: Name of the clothing you wish to add
Slots: Upperbody, Lowerbody, Underwear, or a combination.
Durability: A value between 1-5 (per slot)
Stats: Values of stamina, resilience and speed, using a shared nr between 1-5 (per slot)
Description: A (preferably short) description of the piece of clothing.
Tags: Descriptive tags for the clothing, like for a black leather thong "skimpy", "shiny", "leather"
Just drop ideas for props (like in FuSeGa there were dildos, chains, whips etc).
Species need the following info:
Name: Name of the species ex "Tiger"
Stats: Values of stamina, resilience and speed, max 5 points total
Fur tags: Tags describing the fur or skin of the species, like "Sleek", "Soft", "Striped" or "Scaly", "Green", "Rough" etc
AddTags: AddTags are tags that determine the physiology of the species. For an instance, for a species with a tail to get attacks like "Player1 grabs a hold of Player2's tail and slams them to the ground", they'd need the TAG_R_HAS_TAIL tag.
These will only have minor at best impacts on the gameplay, and are for cosmetic effects most of the time.
Current AddTags are:
TAG_R_HAS_TAIL - Species has tail
TAG_R_HAS_WINGS - Species has wing
TAG_R_HAS_CLAWS - Species has claws
Note: These are the only AddTags I could come up with off the top of my head, let me know what other tags you want.

Posted 12 years agoSo after my (at least somewhat) successful attempt at the Cirrus chat, I've started sketching a bit on a new edition of FuSeGa (currently called YAFSeG or Yet Another Furry Sex Game). But I need ideas and feedback on my ideas.
The interface will work like FuSeGa (except be bigger), the type of combat and the ultimate goal of the game will be the same. But I'm hoping to make a couple of changes. This will be a complete rewrite though as I wasn't familiar at all with object oriented programming before FuSeGa, so I've been sketching on a system that will be faster, take less memory and more logical to work with. But that aside, let's get down to some changes.
Resources & StatsLike before, a player will have energy and arousal. Arousal being your "health" and energy letting you use special abilities. The specials will no longer be tied to your species, but instead depending on the class you wish to pick. I have 3 classes planned, Summoner, Fighter and Prowler.
The stats are:
- Resilience: Increases your max libido
- Stamina: Increases your max energy
- Accuracy: Increases your chance to hit and dodge
Each species will start with 5 points spread across the resources, but other than that, species are only for aestethical purposes. Clothes and props as well as short term effects might also alter your stats.
Other resources are like before:
- Durability: Clothes has this, there are still 3 cloth slots (upper, lower and underwear). Getting fully stripped will increase the amount of arousal you gain by 50% or so.
- Exhaustion: Decreases your chance to hit and dodge, fades with time when you defend or wait.
Classes, Abilities & CharacterFirst off, I want to add the ability to create characters, and instead of being presented with a new game or continue option, you'll be able to load a current character or create a new one.
On a new game, you'll first pick a name (pretty straight forward) then a class, then species and finally masochistic alignment. Masochistic alignment is like before, but will be hidden so players have to figure out the best way to arouse you through trial and error. Instead of a slider I'd prefer 3 options:
[Non Masochist (-25% libido for masochistic arousal, +25% for standard arousal)]
[Slight Masochist (No modifier)]
[Masochistic (+25% libido for masochistic arousal, -25% for standard arousal)]
The classes I propose are:
- Summoner: A spellcaster, will be able to use magic spells on their enemies, farily focused around standard arousal.
- Figher: A melee fighter, uses his/her body as an advantage, fairly focused around masochistic arousal.
- Prowler: A rogue type character. Uses dirty fighting and stealthy tricks to arouse depending on opportunity (random arousal).
You'll be able to level up to level 8, every level you gain a new ability or perk that will help you in combat, resulting in a total of 5 abilities and 5 passives.
CombatUnlike FuSeGa, I think props should be purchasable and selected from your inventory rather than being random in fights. Clothes will also be bought.
Planned default abilities:
- Arouse: Similar to sensitive attack, increases arousal through standard sexual (sensitive) means
- Punish: Masochistic attack, be a bit rough with your opponent.
Unlike FuSeGa, these will be purely for arousal. Punish won't cause other effects like exhaustion or stunning
- Defend: Enter a defensive stance, increasing dodge chance for 1 round. Has a fairly high chance of lowering exhaustion.
- Wait: Do nothing. 100% chance of lowering exhaustion.
- Energy Attack: Use your energy resource to trigger a custom attack. The attacks you'll have available depends on class and level.
- Special: Has a 4 round cooldown. You get to pick between a pounce, strip or exhaust attack.
- Prop: Has a 6 round cooldown. Uses your currently worn prop.
- Break free: If pounced, this is what you hit to break free.
Instead of letting the game pick a loser (in 3 or more player games), I want the winner to be able to pick a target and punishments. Punishments will be like before, but I'd rather name them "Punish", "Reward" and "None". Where punish means you force yourself on the target. Reward lets them do you or services them. And none does nothing.
MultiplayerOne thing I'd really like to do is make YAFSeG multiplayer capable. The plus side to this is that you'd be able to fight other players, or join a friend for a coop match or tournament. The downside is that PVP would limit moddability. Sure, I could make it so you can create custom species to play as, but if I let people create custom props, abilities and clothes, people would most likely create god-items.
Anyways, hope someone manages to sift through this wall of text. I'll need to think about how to get multiplayer to work well.

Posted 13 years agoI've pretty much given up on this game now, as it's a pretty poor hackjob and my first attempt at actionscript. I'm hoping to instead make a new one (currently named YAFSeG or Yet Another Furry Sex Game) and build it from scratch, so here's your chance to have your say on what goes into it.
I'd like it to have some RPG elements, but still not be a fully featured RPG like CoC, as I like the current sandbox type of play. The store was too cluttered, so I'm thinking it should have item sets instead of separate clothes.
Anything else to suggest? Magic spells instead of special abilities? Armor? Levels/exp? Achievements? Monster battles? Bought props instead of randomly found? Stats like Int, Stamina, Strength, Agility, armor?
Let me know.

Posted 13 years agoI can't remember everything I put into this update but I'll post some highlights. First off though I need help writing. As you probably have noticed, I'm not exactly a professional writer, so I'll need help with the texts. Both new texts and updating poorly written/typo-filled texts.
Texts should be limited to 1-3 sentences per attack, with the exception being punishments where you can write a wall of text if you want.
You don't have to follow my reference, as I've done a lot of additions to the game, so it can take most things into consideration now, including body types, size, clothes, position, gender, arena, species and even custom conditions added mid battle (like tying someone up, or casing a spell on someone). Your imagination is the limit, just write something and send me.
Send me your ideas as a note here on FA, or post a comment on this journal or something.
Anyways, here are some highlights for this version:

- Fixed more typos
- Added a new arena with 2 new props
- Added boss fights (though still fairly unfinished, especially lacking punishments)

- Race size no longer has any major gameplay effect, but different sizes can get different texts vs other size players.

- Added a coop tournament mode, where you get to pick a custom player to join you in 2vs2 games
- Durability should no longer show up on character menu, as durability always resets at the start of a game (good catch by summoned)
- Fixed typos (but probably added some as well)
- Added so you can select breast/butt/groin/muscle size. These don't affect gameplay though. Only text.

- Fixed a gamebreaking bug caused by snow leopards, damn cats
- Added a new piece of clothing
- Added a couple of new conditions and variables, the text writing reference has been updated with these
- Enemies will no longer leave the arena without picking a punishment, because watching enemies leave is boring. Players can still leave the arena.
- Fixed the custom enemy cycling so the back and forward buttons no longer make the enemy selector glitch out.
- Added a tournament battle type, which is a sequence of 5 completely battles with a bonus reward increasing exponentially for each round won
