HEWWOOO!! <3 Wooow it's been a heck of a while since I've posted anything here. I like keeping things up to date here though so I'm thinking it's high time for a good ol' journal post!

Things have been slow this year cause of life and health things but I'm STOKED for the future! What's in store for the future, you ask? STUFF!! Heheee

Fursuits
I'm still doing all the crazy thing I'm usually up to except now it's gonna be BIGGER n BETTER!! At the moment I'm working hard at improving my whole fursuit-making process. Which menas you can expect the presentation of... Kiyani 2.0 in the near future!! Commission-wise there are only two customers in my que at the moment so you can count on me opening for new fursuit commissions at some point this year as well!

Fursuit Stockings
I've also been making plenty of fursuit stockings (arm-warmers + thigh highs). You might only know about them if you follow me on Twitter (@Hojozilla) but would you believe me if I told you I've made OVER 100 sets?! You'd better because it's true!! I'm gonna be uploading LOTS of photos of my happy customers very soon so keep an eye out for those! And please order a set of your own if you're into being cute and stripey! Hiya there! It's been many months since my last journal. Thank you for watching me! <3

I was going to attend school this year, but I decided I wanted to spend another year making fursuits instead! Well, there were some other contributing factors too, but those are very super not important at all! HAHAHAH!

ANYWAYS! If you look at my Profile, you'll see that I only have a handful of commissions left in my que. All of these will be completed by MFF (the bird fullsuit might be made shortly after MFF possibly, we'll see!) SO! I'll be opening for new custom fullsuit and partial commissions in October! I'll give more specific details about that in early October. Right now, I know that I'm especially interested in characters who will like to have wig hair on their heads. I'm thinking I'll have about 5 slots available.

With business out of the way.. I have plans to fill this next year with TONS OF FLUFFY FURRY FUN!!! I'm really open to attending any/all furry conventions. But so far, the ones I have made concrete plans/budgets for are:

Sometimes... it feels like...


As I grow older, it becomes gradually harder and harder to feel happy. I can never be as happy as I was at some point in the past.

But at the same time.. the older I grow, the more intense the sadness in my life becomes. I always have something more sad than I’ve ever experienced previously to look forward to.

O_____O I just tried to upload the same image three times, and every time I do, it turns out to be sideways!!! I'm so GAAAH!
I'm so very, very sorry to anyone who noticed me upload it each time. That must have been very confusing.
Does anyone know how to fix this? At first I thought it was 'cause I was uploading it from my phone. So I tried from my laptop. Same deal. I tried again by flipping it sideways so it'll flip to be right when FA flips it, but that didn't work either! It looks perfectly normal in my gallery. Hnnngggg Why is FA so awkward to use sometimes...

I've been quiet lately! It's time to break the silence! There are a lot of things I have to announce! (Boring stuff, nothing huge)

I have a lot of fursuit projects in the works too. In fact, I should be revealing one of them in the next couple of days. It'll be paired with the WORST TF story ever. xP I hope everyone can forgive me! Hehe!

Right now I'm making a partial for  Ih8w8ing which will be finished by Furnal Equinox. I'm also still finishing up some extra features for  jazminbunni fursuit. After that,  Leo.the.ninja.lion is up next for a fullsuit! There are a small handful of other people who I'll be making suits for after him. I'm just waiting on deposits is all. *wags*

In between those commissions, I'm going to be making another personal suit. But, also NOT personal cause I'm never going to wear it! :) It's a character who is related to one of my other main suits. I'm going to let close friends wear/borrow it at cons and furmeets. The suit and character will be mine, but I think it will be fun to see what my friends do with 'em! Yeppp!!

Woof-squee!!

Hiya! I know this is really silly and last-minute, but I'm suddenly able to make it to MFF. I already have a hotel spot arranged, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to get there. The biggest challenge is that I couldn't get the Thursday afternoon off work, so the earliest I can leave is Thursday evening. ^ ^;; I live near Toronto. If anybody has room for me and is leaving on Thursday night (or even later .-.) I would love to tag along and pay for gas and stuff! I also have a driving license if you would like me to help with the driving.

Firstly, I'm really sorry if you send me a message and I take a really long time to respond. Or if I respond a few times and then take a long time to send more. I'm working full time during the day and then working on commissions at night so I find it hard to carry out long conversations with people online. I care about and appreciate everyone who messages me, I promise. It's just really hard to respond immediately every time... I really, really appreciate everyone who's been patient with me.

I'm also really sorry if I've ever offended anyone online or IRL... I seriously never intend to hurt anybody's feelings... If anything I've said hurt you, I'm so sorry... I get too excited pretty often and sometimes I don't choose my words well enough. I sort of feel like I don't know how to have fun without being annoying and obnoxious... I'm trying to improve...

For those of you who don't know, I studied art and art history (and sociology and drama) in my undergrad. 'Certain people' used to tell me straight-up that I wasn't going to find anything but minimum wage work once I graduated. I didn't want to be a curator or artist though so then I spent a year studying HR Management after I completed my HBA. Anyways, since April I've been working as a paid intern for a financial services company. AND GUESS WHO GOT OFFERED A FULL-TIME PERMENANT POSITION WITH RAISE HAH IN YOUR FACE DAD -- I mean, 'certain people'. Yerp!!

Sorry if this comes across as brag-y. I was really worried about finding work after school so this is just really happy news for me. ^ ^;;

What’s your goal for the con this year?
Making my panel a success! Oh! Please come to it! It’s called ‘Latex + Air = Animals’ and it’s going to be on Sunday in the time slot right before the Closing Ceremonies! I’m gonna teach ya’ll how to make balloon animals. And yes! You will actually get to make them! About four, in fact!
And-and I’m also helping run a Pokefur meet and greet with  unknown0species

Heya, everybody! ^ ^ I randomly feel like sharing something really personal that I don't like talking to people about very much. It's been bothering me a whole lot lately, and talking about things always makes me feel better. So I figured I'd give this a shot.

Anyways, for as long as I can remember I've struggled with something called emetophobia. It's an irrational fear of vomit. For me, my fear is only of seeing it. Hearing about it or doing it myself doesn't bother me at all. Most of the times I've had to deal with it were when I was pretty young. Like, this one time my brother did it in our house and I was so bothered by it that I had to live at my grandma's for a month. For about a week all I could stomach eating were jujubes and Rice Krispies. xP It was awful.

I've been pretty lucky with avoiding it for the last few years (especially since I drink and party with my friends fairly often). But last May, at Anime North, some emo kid in the Tim Hortons... ugh. x.x It ruined more than just my weekend. It totally amplified my fear. In general. Ever since that incident really simple things like people coughing for a while, someone bending over (like to tie their shoes), someone covering their mouth and even just wet spots on the floor totally freak me out. Like, seeing any of those puts me up to level 5 (out of 10) anxiety.

On the internet I read that some people can't even leave their house because their emetophobia bothers them so much. Since there's no way I'd ever want to get to that level, last week I spoke to a doctor about it. She strongly suggested I see a psychologist about my fear, and gave me a doctor's note to give to my parents. Surprisingly, my mom was pretty cool about it. And now I'm finally going to get help for this thing! :)

Has anyone else managed to get professional help for fears or anxieties like this? I'm really nervous about this because I definitely want nothing to do with exposure therapy. x.x
