For doodling. I'm trying to get back into art stuffs but I'm so disappointed with my work lately.

I'm getting tired of paintool sai, and I want to mess with some other (free) programs. What's your go-to art program?

So life has been eventful and busy. I don't have access to a computer right now, so I haven't been able to work on artstuff. Which doesn't really matter, because all I do is work, gym, and sleep. How do you juggle art and a busy life?

I just got a second job at a restaurant...and I had a really bad day today.
It's so hard. I have no idea how to prioritize, and I'm clumsy and stupid and...im just really bad.
I hope I learn more and can ACTUALLY help instead of getting in the way all the time, but until then oh god im so clumsy.

Does anyone have restaurant/waitress experience?
If so- how do YOU deal with having a million things to do at once?

I've been working a lot lately, but two days ago my boss finally gave me a part time schedule, which was REALLY convenient, because I had to go to the er last night. I'm ok, but I need to rest for a few days. To make up for the money I'm losing on the job due to part time, I'm gonna be getting more into art and costumes(ears and tails and fursuits and stuff.)
I'm working on a walrus head right now...lol it's fun. :)

tldr: I'm not ded.

I had another bad day at work today. Stuff like that really takes it's toll on me mentally. I mean after sooooo loooong without a job, it's nice to finally have money and take care of myself, but I feel like some of the stuff I have to put up with isn't worth 8.00/hr.
I've been thinking about just getting financial aid for school, so I can get into art/business, and just doing that for a few years. I'm uneasy about it, because I don't know anything about that sort of thing and I don't know how it'll be.

Ill be there. :)

ALSO ENTERTAIN ME WHILE I'M AT WORK

I've been working full time. It's so hard to come home and get anything done. My room is a mess, I rarely exercise, and I don't think I've picked up a pencil since I started work. When I get home all I want to do is sleep or go out.

I got a full time job at the place my bf works at. It's nice, I like working there. The only thing I don't like about it is dealing with the ragey customers. I still need to get my schedule and time my life around it. :T I haven't even had time to go home, I've been staying at my boys house, because all I wanna do when I get home is sleep.

I drove home yesterday morning and saw this tan scrappy dog sitting in the middle of the road. I got out and sat on the curb for a while and watched him for a few minutes before bringing him some water. When I sat down again he decided to sit near me. I called animal control and just waited out there with him. Finally he cuddled up next to me and let me pet him. His coat had tar all over it and he was lonely. He let me put a collar on him and leash him, and when it got cold we hopped in the car and waited for animal control to show up, but they never did. Every time he saw a young child, he would cry and cry, like he thought it was his family. :(
I took him to my moms house for the night. I just got home from dropping him off at the shelter. He slept in my lap the whole way there, but he cried and cried and cried as i left.

TLDR- I met the sweetest, most well tempered and tolerant dog in the world, and now my heart hurts. <:(

Not that anyone is really even paying attention to me any more, since I'm hardly on... ^-^'
The job I was banking on that I mentioned in my last journal fell through completely. Human resources said that I don't know enough about the job *which was open to the public and no previous experience or knowledge is required*(AND I DID THE JOB FOR 10 MONTHS BUT WHATEVER.)
And they said that there was a 'personality issue' and I 'need to work on my communication skills'. Disregard that this is not only NOT a customer service/communication based job, but I'm also NOT a social retard.

So that whole thing was just devastating. I can't even get a job when my family works at the place and all the managers are trying to get me in. Maybe I am a social retard. :T

Needless to say, things have been slow. I haven't been motivated to work on anything. I take my laptop and tablet everywhere, but nothing comes out. Things just suck really bad right now. I don't know what to do.

Heya everyone, long time no see. I hope FA is doing well.
My close friends already know whats going on, kinda. I'm here in socal on a job lead, one that I was under the table guaranteed. I've been here for about 5 months on this lead, just waiting for the calls and waiting for the hiring process to progress, and yesterday I got an email saying that they would NOT hire me, because I do not fit their employment needs. The only possible thing that could have happened was that there was some sort of misunderstanding in my final interview about my availability. I've been trying to get ahold of the hr person in charge of this to ask her for specifics and try and clear this up, but she's always either not at her desk or in a meeting. I will continue to call every few hours until I get to speak to her personally. :T
When I get ahold of her, I'll post what happens...

Internally I'm freaking out so bad. I've been moving all over the state these past four years not being able to find stable work, not being able to make livable money so I can settle down and have a safe and stable living environment so I can go back to school, and FINALLY I get an opportunity and I feel like it just punched me in the face.


So I guess this is just a journal updating my life status and why I'm not working on art lately, and looking for some advice and support. ALSO for those of you I owe art to, I completely intend on finishing my work. Stress does not make me very inspired, BUT if you are tired of my crap(lol), please feel free to send me a note here or skpe me(toastophilia) and ask for a refund. No hard feelings, I totally understand. :)

I feel like it's activity has gone down after December.

I've been so busy these past two weeks! I moved into a new place this week, and I'm getting a job, FINALLY.
Commissioners read: HoleWeet's making excuses again as to why she's a lazy bum.
But really, I should be cracking down on commissions in the next few days, things are settling down.
