& I go to the pool in the mornings before heading to work. Lately, Beaglederp has been 'joining' us (via text RP method)
We're thinking we need some fun art to commemorate the joyful mornings.
Can't you just see, Sumr & I are in the pool, swimming & laughing. As just behind, under the water, is.....SHARKBEAGLE!! hehehe.....beagle in his swim cap, arm floaties & purple speedos. And, of course, a shark fin strapped to his back, trying to scare us.
If you're interested or know an artist that is reasonable in their rates, let me know!!!

Good morning
General | Posted 13 years agoI just wanted to let everyone know that I am back to normal (or whatever passes for 'normal' for me).
I had a wonderful weekend. I'm feeling better. I managed to defeat the childhood demon was annoying me last week. All around....TONS better.
Working on plans to go to MFF. Got a room. Looking on how to get there. Planes & trains are WAAAY more expensive than I realized!!!
Anyway, thanks again for everything. Love you bunches & bunches

General | Posted 13 years agoI think....Maybe I sorta know what's bothering me.
But first, I just want to say how overwhelmed by the love I've been shown since my journal yesterday. Please know that I didn't write it with the idea of people expressing an out pour of love for me. I'm very humbled that you feel I'm worthy enough to be your friend. My main purpose was to express how horrible I felt about some of my recent actions. *hugs* I wish i could give each & everyone of you a real one...Right NOW!! But, my friends, internet hugs will have to do for now.
Friends...Friendship. Those words mean an awful lot to me. And I would like to take a moment to explain why. Children can be very cruel & words hurt...ALOT!! And the sting from them can haunt a person years & years later. Growing up, I had very few friends. I was a fat kid & often the butt of jokes. There were many times that someone would play with me as a last result or if i could do something for them. So, as I got older, I would do whatever it would take for someone to like me. And, I can honestly tell you, I'm quite ashamed of some of the things I did. Anyway, as I have aged, I have learned that not everyone wants something from me. And that I am liked for who I am. However, now & then, the childhood demons appear & taunt me. Make me crazy. Doubting things & people. And I get sent on a roller coaster ride that I have no control over.
Ok....now having said all that. As Sumr & I were working out this morning, I had some time to think. And I realized some things. At least, I think....
I have friends. REAL friends. Friends that me because of who I am. Not because I can (or do) do things for them.
But I have a couple of specific friends:
One, I use to talk to everyday. We would text & chat about everything & nothing. However, their life has changed in recent months & now, maybe, MAYBE a short conversation once a week.
Two, I have another friend that I've crushed on for quite some time. We are good friends & talk, chat & text often. I know that nothing could ever happen between us. They've been hurt in horrible ways. I want nothing more than to step in, but it can never happen for several reason.
These nasty, childhood demons are creeping in to tell me that these 2 'friends' never REALLY liked me & it is just wishful thinking. It's a strange & bizzare rejection that I am fighting. And I think, maybe that's part of it. I know the demons are liars & that these 2 are really my friends. But the memories of days gone by haunt me sometimes. Times when I let my guard down. Times when I feel alone. And times when I'm not even aware that they are creeping back in. It's always sly, slow & subtle. But the effects are damaging. Or so it seems. I end up questioning why would anyone like me. And then, I'm still that fat, ugly little girl on the playground, begging for a friend.
A couple more little thoughts:
One, I am sorry to one friend in particular. I won't say who. You know who you are. And I promise I won't say it again.
Two, thank you someone else very specific. You really helped open my eyes. I appreciated your time last night.
Three, thank you to everyone for the out pouring of love. And good wishes. And for the willingness to be there for me. I love you!!!
I'm not off the roller coaster yet. But, I can see the end of this ride in my sites. And, hopefully, I'm be back to normal sooner than later!!!

Recently, I feel like I haven't been myself. My emotions are insane & I'm having troubles finding that "Happy Place" in my mind. I wondered if it was just me. But I've seen others that seem to be blue also. I finding I'm stressing over things that use to not bother me. Honestly, I'm a bit freaked out by this roller coaster I seem to be on.
So....I would like to apologize if I have been short with anyone. Or if I have offended anyone inadvertately. Or maybe been pushy or bossy. I assure you, it's not intentional.
Sumr says I'm having a personal pity party for myself & if I don't snap out of it soon, she's gonna beat it outta me.
Anyway, *hugs* I guess that's all for now.

Walking for a cure

tinklebell_cougar, myself & our co-worker will be doing a walk for breast cancer. The company we work for is willing to match whatever amount we manage to raise.
Sumr & Tink lost their mom from breast cancer when they were teenagers. Mom fought 2 rounds of breast cancer before she passed away last spring. Our other co-worker's mom & aunt have both survived!
The local breast cancer center does wonderful things. When my mom went through radiation & chemo, they helped cover several months worth of bills & provided funds to pay for gas to her appointments. So I know first hand how important this is.

The walk will be Saturday October 20, 2012.

Anyway, I had this thought.... How cool would this 'book' be if I could get my artist friends to draw in it.
So here's my thought: I will send this small book to you. All I ask is that you write something small on one page & on the opposite page draw a picture of me & you. We could be having some tea, out at dinner, laughing, talking, shopping, swimming, skiing or whatever. It doesn't really matter. The point is, it would be you & I together!
Please think about it & let me know. Like I said, I will happily pay the postage to you & back to me.

General | Posted 13 years agoAt this time one week ago I was in Olive Branch Mississippi already laughing like the crazy hyena I am!!!
THURSDAY:
& I arrived Thursday afternoon. It didn't take long to meet up with 
& 
! After unloading the car & getting semi-settled, we met up with 
& headed over to Sonic for some noms. After some eating, talking & laughing, we headed back to the hotel & I helped Tonk & Max into their fursuits. Tonka sported his Tribal Tonka!! Then we ran around the hotel playing ball, hugging the staff, wrestling around, punching balloons & all around craziness!! Exhausted, we all hit the sack.
FRIDAY: Breakfast & then checked out the Dealer's Den! They had some great stuff. I picked up some wonderful jewelry & ordered a cool new badge!! It was metal!! (I will try to upload some pictures soon) Wandered around some more & saw the cutest hyena plushy!!! You don't find them very often, so, naturally I fell in love with it. I looked at the price & quickly set it back down. (I knew that wasn't in my budget) I went to look at another table, but, then, the hyena was in my arms....Tonka was sucha sweetie & got it for me.
After a lap around the dealer's den, it was time for a trip to Wal-mart!! The room was like the Antarctic!!! I needed another blanket (or two)!!! I drove Tonka's truck to Wal-Mart with him & Max in fursuit &

along to do some shopping. We were there 30 mins (maybe 45), I was looking for blanket, Max & Tonka got stopped by a number of Wal-Mart employees that wanted their pictures taken with them. I was by the blanket, Cosmik was busy getting things on his list, & Rhu was with Max & Tonka when the manager came up & politely ask them to finish their shopping & leave. He had some reports that they were scaring people. (I think it was because the employees were more interested in them then working) That was a bummer. Rhu took them outside & Cosmik & I finished the shopping. Last year's Wal-Mart trip was so much more fun!!
Back to the con, rested for a bit, and then time for the Pizza Feed!! Had a great time talking, eating, laughing!! Then, time for more fursuiting. Hugs, dancing, wrestling, tail wagging, pictures with Mystery Otter!!! Got to meet

After the silly-time, back to Wal-Mart (without the fursuits) for goodies so Tonka could make his YUMMMMMMMY smoothies!!!! (A tradition started last MFM) It was a great little get together & a wonderful way to end Friday!!
SATURDAY: Woke up kinda late, so breakfast & back to help Max & Tonka get ready for the fursuit parade!! While waiting around, I got to meet
!! I decided the best spot was when the fursuiters were exiting the dealer's den. It wasn't to bad. And then outside for group pictures!! After the parade, went to have some snackage in Slushie's room. It was fun meeting everyone (and I'm sorry I don't remember everyone's name). Went back to dealer's den to pick up cool new metal badge!!
And after a little rest, it was time for sushi!! About 16 of us went!! I felt extra special. While we waited, both Slushie & Cosmik took some time to draw in my sketch book!!! (Thank you so very very much) Anyway, not being overly familiar with sushi, I let Tonka order for me. Aside from the BOWL of soup, everything was amazing!!! We had a small bowl of soup & a salad before the entree, but when they brought out the main course, they brought 2 bowls of soup that coulda fed a small country!!!! It was good, but just a tad more than I could handle. (I love you Tonka!!)
After stuffing oursleves, it was back to the con & time for the fursuit games!!! It was amusing watching a bunch of people in fursuits, look for item in a ball pit, bowl, pick up items with chopsticks & toss bean bags. The highlight of the fursuit games (for me) was watching Maximus dance about!!! (I love you Maximus!!)
After the games, we caught up with Rhu, who was playing piano in the bar. Sang a little, laughed ALOT!! Cosmik joined a short time later. I love listening to them sing & play!! The talent they have is off the charts!! If you've never heard them, you are missing out!!
SUNDAY: Max, Tonka & I went to the local Huddle House for breakfast. And then Max had to go rehearse with Rhu, Matsi & Calamity for the there performance of Pancakes VS Waffles (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3823651/ Video from Wild Bill). During that time, Tonka & I went to Wal-Mart (again). This time for party stuffs for Matsi!! (His birthday is in a couple of weeks & decided a party was in order!) We got him a rainbow birthday cake (cause what furry wouldn't LOVE that!??!) A quick run through the dealer's den again. Max picked up another cool badge for himself & then led me over to pick up a badge for me!! He was quite sneaky about it & I was completely oblivious to it! Met up with Sodalite & sat with him during the Masquerade. After Max & Tonka were done performing with Rhu, they ran back to the room to get out fursuit, I followed & by the time we got back, Matsi was just about done with his song, Hardware Store (by Weird Al). Before the end of the show, he did it again for everyone!! Time for dinner!! Went to Top's BBQ with Rhu, Cosmik, Matsi, Sodalite, Max, Tonka, Calamity & Keifer! Yum yum!!! Back to the con, Sodalite brought his laptop to the room & we watched video of his trip to China. AMAZING!! And then....the power went out. We just kept watching until his battery went dead. Then we watched videos on Tonka's laptop!! Having fun & then con staff evacuated all the rooms because of the tornado. i was completely unfazed by it, but left the room anyway. We were allowed to go back to the room about 15 or 20 minutes later. We watched a few more videos & then, realizing we had glow sticks, made a ring toss game!!! Tonka had a turn, Max had a turn & then, the lights came back on!! So what did we do??? Turned off all the lights & went back to our game!!! I believe Sodalite won!! :lmoa: After Soda let, we put a movie in & enjoyed the rest of the evening without any worries.
MONDAY: Woke up & packed up. Time to say good-bye, but certainly not ready. Loaded Tonka & Max, and then me. We sat around & waited for Matsi, Rhu, Cosmik & several others. We checked out & finally headed out to the Huddle House for our finally breakfast together. There ended up being about 16 or 17 of us there. I hated to say good bye, but all good things must end. Matsi & I made it home a little before 7.

& I arrived Thursday afternoon. It didn't take long to meet up with

! After unloading the car & getting semi-settled, we met up with 
& headed over to Sonic for some noms. After some eating, talking & laughing, we headed back to the hotel & I helped Tonk & Max into their fursuits. Tonka sported his Tribal Tonka!! Then we ran around the hotel playing ball, hugging the staff, wrestling around, punching balloons & all around craziness!! Exhausted, we all hit the sack.FRIDAY: Breakfast & then checked out the Dealer's Den! They had some great stuff. I picked up some wonderful jewelry & ordered a cool new badge!! It was metal!! (I will try to upload some pictures soon) Wandered around some more & saw the cutest hyena plushy!!! You don't find them very often, so, naturally I fell in love with it. I looked at the price & quickly set it back down. (I knew that wasn't in my budget) I went to look at another table, but, then, the hyena was in my arms....Tonka was sucha sweetie & got it for me.

I'm arriving Thursday, leaving Monday. I'm traveling with MatsiWulf. I like being hugged & spoiled. And, no, I don't do art of any kind, but I do buy it! I can be found wearing a Hawaiian shirt. And yes, I will have some cookies with me. You can find me hanging with Maximus, Tonka, Rhubarb, Cosmik, Matsi, and so on..... Ready for fun, fun, fun!!
I probably won't be back online until Tuesday. So, you be safe & have a great time with whatever you're doing!!

Back to reality
General | Posted 13 years agoI have returned from vacation. I didn't kill anything or anyone. Got some rest (sorta). And had a super time!!!!
We (Trebonius, Bubbles, Matsi & myslef) left on Tuesday (July 24th) & drove to the home of RhubarbTheBear & Cosmik. Arriving sometime around 11 a.m. Already there was LoneWolfRaven (AKA: Aurius) & foxalbiazul. The rest of Wednesday, resting, chatting, eating, sleeping....
Thursday: In the morning, Aurius, Matsi & I went to the bus station to pick up KittyBird (aka KB) & Draggy! I greeted them both with giant hyena hugs (as I had promised). We took them to the hotel & their room was ready! So, I checked on mine...and it was ready also!!! Back to Rhu's to get our stuff. Met up with TonkaWolf around noon-time. Had lunch at IHOP (it's within walking distance) and then just chilled for a bit. Went for a swim with KB, Draggy, Bubbles & Trebonis. Got registered & then went to furry bowling. It was fun, but trying to find it.....NOT fun!! We must've circled the 'address' about 5 or 6 times before going down a parking lot & finding it BEHIND another building. The drive was interesting. So, Trebonius, Tonka, Bubbles, Matsi, KB & myself bowled. Both Tonka & Matsi scared me so bad, I would just grab the ball, go the line, look for them both, throw the ball & leave. :) KB had her steampunk googles on & got a strike & a difficult spare with them one! She also got me so tickled, that I couldn't hardly look at her with them on without busting out laughing!!!
Friday: Got up early had breakfast with Trebonius & went to Target. While I was gone, beaglederp showed up. I got back, unloaded the car & Bubbles & I headed down to registration. I tried to call beagle to let him know I was on my way down....but, he didn't answer. SO.....I just snuck up beside him & said "Don't you ever answer your phone?!?!" hehehehe Much hugging followed. We laughed, visited & walked to the tourist trap souvenir shop up the road. Took pictures & bought some stuff. Hung around chatting with KB, Blackwell bear, Dipper (he was a surprise for Gen!), Tonka, Bubbles, Trebonius, Beagle & Nelson Demifur. Got laughing so hard that I literally was ROFL!!! I fell outta my chair.... ANYWAY, the time came to reveal Dipper to Gen. She knew the whole time that he was gonna be there. It's tough to pull one over on her. Friday evening came & watched the Rhubarb Show!! It was GREAT!!! I know Trebonius got video of it. I haven't seen it yet, but looking forward to it. After the show, Tonka, Beagle, Trebonius, Bubbles & I played mini golf!! That was quite fun!! I don't remember who won.
Saturday: Breakfast at the hotel with Rhubarb, Cosmik, Beagle, Dipper, Bubbles, and Trebonius. Went swimming at some point with KB, Beagle & Bubbles. Tonka & Trebonius came by & we were headed back to the room & Tonka threw Trebonius in the pool. Ruined his cell phone & he got really wet! hehehehe Mostly visited with others. Watched the dance competition. Which was great!! Matsi knocked 'em dead!!! And, of, course, won!! (YAY MATSI!!!) After the dance, was Rhubarb's JULIE BUNNY MUST DIE!! Words escape me to describe it. I have worked back stage for Julie Bunny for the cons it's played at & when it was playing in Springfield, but never had I seen it from the front. All I can say is: WOW!!! They made everyone leave to set up. So I went out to wait in line. I wanted a good seat. But, I was told not to worry because I already had a seat saved for me. I was expecting seats 3 or 4 rows back, but, no! Cosmik & Rhubarb made sure that I had front row seats!! After the show, I hugged Rhubarb & promptly began crying (I have no idea why). Afterwards, Tonk, Trebonius, Bubbles, Beagle, Draggy & I celebrated by going to Taco Bell!!!! (Now THAT'S a party!!)
Sunday: Had to check outta our room, so packed everything up & loaded the car. Trebonius & Bubbles went to Disney while I stayed around & visited with the furries some more. Tonka headed home. I drove to Rhubarb's to unload the car & headed back to the hotel for more chatting & fun. Enjoyed the day. Had dinner with Beagle, Dipper & Blackwell at a pizza place. Man, was that GOOOOOOOD pizza!!! (Thank you Beagle). Finally had to say good bye to Beagle & he headed home. Went up & visited with Gen, Uriel, Dipper, KB & Draggy. More laughter. Trebonius & Bubbles returned from Disney so we left for Rhubarb's.
Monday: Trebonius got a new phone (to replace the one he lost when he went for a swim). And then we met up with KB & Draggy while we waited for Uriel. He arrived & we went to visit Dusty Rancourt. Gen showed up a bit later & we surprised her with a wonderful "We Love You Gen" banner. I did managed to get a couple of pictures. Katya Rancourt showed up a bit later. More visitng, more laughing and then.....DINNER!!!! Yummy, delicious, amazing, scrumptious, wonderful, fabulous.....and it was good too! dinner. Bacon steak, salads, steak, potatoes, rolls and, of course, remarkable, dessert (cake!!!) Thank you Dusty, Katya, Gen & Uriel!!! The food was great, but the company was even better!!!!! After dinner, it was back to Rhubarb's to load the car & head back home.
Tuesday: Before actually leaving Florida, we stopped at Tonka's home. It was great to see him & his gym. After having breakfast with him & visiting a couple of short hours, it was back on the road. We finally arrived home around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. (Just in time to grab a short nap before returning to work)
As you can tell, had a wonderful time!! Got lots of pictures that I hope to get off my camera sometime in the near future!

Today was a good day
General | Posted 13 years agoI just wanted to report about my day.
The courts allowed the money to be taken out off the probate account. It was wired to the mortgage company & now my childhood home is safe from foreclosure!!
The papers were signed for the transfer of the property to my oldest brother. I signed the papers to be the legal owner of the home I've lived in for the past 16+ years. I'M A HOME OWNER!!! Guess it's time to look into homeowner's insurance.
Better/best news: I spoke to both my brothers. And they have both agreed that neither will make me pay them anything. i was told that I shouldn't have to pay for my inheritance! I almost fainted!!!
I'm looking forward to the upcoming vacation. I completely intend to get some rest & have some fun!!

The courts allowed the money to be taken out off the probate account. It was wired to the mortgage company & now my childhood home is safe from foreclosure!!
The papers were signed for the transfer of the property to my oldest brother. I signed the papers to be the legal owner of the home I've lived in for the past 16+ years. I'M A HOME OWNER!!! Guess it's time to look into homeowner's insurance.
Better/best news: I spoke to both my brothers. And they have both agreed that neither will make me pay them anything. i was told that I shouldn't have to pay for my inheritance! I almost fainted!!!
I'm looking forward to the upcoming vacation. I completely intend to get some rest & have some fun!!
