Jan 2024 I took in a 10 month starving golden lab as a foster. He was underweight and showed signs of Trauma. I fed him to a healthy weight, got his shots and fixed him. His owner stopped asking about him June 2024.

On Sept 6th. The owner contact me wanting him back. Over a year with no contact.

Am I a asshat if I say no and kick rocks? I did sign up to foster, but with a year of no contaxt, I figured the dog wasn't wanted.

My Santafox Deliveries accomplished over 40 homes and 200 kids! We delivered on the 24th and all.day on the 25th!

I am really glad to be able to do something pawsative for both my town and the furry community!

Sadly I will have to restrict Hollyfox to Christmas only to preserve the suit. I really need a new body and I can't afford it but I can make it last as the Santa suit covers a lot of the wear.

This year has been plugging along. Getting ready for the influx of Trick or Treaters on Monday. My house gets hit hard.. way over 500 kids last year. They were lined up down the street at one point last year.

After Halloween I have to get my eyes looked at. I was suppose to get seen last month but it got post poned to November 2nd. Paying for it all out of pocket because I don't have health insurance.

So.. since Christmas is coming up..I could really use a few more sales from my store to help with the eye exam and contacts..

While talking with a family member who is a famous LGBTQ activist, I asked a question.

Why do some LGBTQ people feel the need to show solidarity at an event 95 percent or more naked covered in paint and sometimes fetish gear? Can't they be equally accepted with clothes on?

The answer he said was confidence. It's fun and free. It's battling and over coming fears as one accepts themselves. Fear affirmation.

I can see that now. I would be mortified to privately display such behavior .. let alone parade it around at an event. But if your over coming fears and giving the middle finger to negative perceptions, I can see how that can be empowering..

Me.. I am going to just hide holding a rainbow Flagg in my fursuit..I am good. I wonder if that makes me less supportive as a ally?

So, with the loss of Clarabelle, I needed a pup. I was getting used to taking a dog everywhere and it's really super enjoyable. I don't need a service animal but I definitely have a good time going shopping with the pup and I live in a rather dog friendly place. Some places look forward to the pup coming in. So, Henry came up for adoption. He is actually a better fit in a lot of ways, he is more mellow and a bigger dog. Because he is more chill...he's easier to keep on the bed and nap with. He complains way less at bath time too.

In other news a had to get a tooth pulled:( I had no cavities but my tooth cracked right up the middle and couldn't be saved;( It will take 6 month to a year to get a post and crown... ugggg I hate this gap. Also super costly. 3000 to 3500 depending if I need a bone graph. Well, at least this is money that will permanently benefit me and my vanity for the rest of my life.

So off to sell for plushies to fund this next thing....

A few days ago a snake got Clarabelle. She was a great pup. Everyone loved her.

Another pup came up for adoption and I got him yesterday. He is a much bigger dog. I definately won't make the same mistake with him.

Well I went to wild nights and sold more plushies for spay, neutering and vaccinations. Winnie the Wus got spayed and all her shots. She is not quarantined to room and has become super affectionate love bug. I did okay for a small con but on the way back I locked everything in the truck and all the extra money went to a lock smith:( sigh. oh well. I took the puppy to the con and everyone loved Clarabelle. She got tons of attention.

Keefer gave me a bunch of plushes to sell. That will keep me busy for a while.

Fundraising time for my furbabies

I got two vet bills coming up that I have been putting off due to funds. Most important is the spay and shots for Whinnie the Wus, a grey tabby cat I took in for friend in trouble. If I got to listen to one more heat cycle, I am going to lose it! She goes in next week. Her cost is $160 for everything.

And I got a puppy (Clarabelle) to keep my other dog (Elizabeth Larx) who is agressive company. Puppies tend to be better with Alpha type doggos. They get along to far
but pups so small, Elizbeth topples her with a nose push. They get socialized about 30 to 60 minutes a day until the pup gets bigger. But that of course means the pup needs everything vet wise. I don't have a full cost for this yet but that's next on the bill list. Elizabeth need shot updates but that is only 15 dollars.


So if anyone can buy a plush or help advertise my ebay store, that will help greatly. If I can sell 25 or so plushies over the next few weeks, that should cover it:)

I rather earn money through selling, so if you could boost the store that would be great. But if you want to help out directly that's OK.. it's all going to the furbabies one way or another, I just prefer earning it.

The zipper to my Hollyfox body busted last year. I ordered a ykk zipper for 8 dollars with free shipping off ebay. Taking out the old zipper was not that hard and while I am not the best at hand stitching...I got the new one in.

I really need a whole new body but color matching the fur would be impossible.

Weather your for or agianst vaccinations is a mute point. What should concern everyone is HOW this is being handled. Yesterday the House of Commons was suspended and Trudeau now has the ability to seize anyones assets for SIMPLY having an opinion or showing support.

So you are for the mandates. Maybe you see this as a win. Wait until these same measures are used with something you dont agree with.

How about if Canada decided to make porn of any type illegal. It's not far fetched as Australia has some sort of law regarding this. Your found with a yiffy furry collection on your phone.. Boom everything gets taken away.

HOW this is being handled should be very concerning to everyone. Your win today can be your detriment tomarrow

The vaccine mandates is just one aspect of the convoy. It's not the scariest part. The 3 week protest has been non violent. It's what we were taught to do when we disagree. The truckers are setting the example of what a true protest should look like reguardless if you agree with them.

The thing that is more frightening then a bunch of Trucker clogging the streets is the Canadians government's responce. Imagine if they did that with the BLM roits? Not a single person has died in 3 weeks. Remember the Autonomous zone? There was 4 deaths in 2 weeks alone.

Arrests are a result of protest. No big deal but killing their pets, that's low. If the government is willing to kill innocent animals...what's stopping them from executing resistors?

Ups and downs happen in everyones life and I am no exception to that.

On the positive side, What started out as giving away a few toys this holiday season turned into several days of local Santa slinging in my current local town of Nevada Missouri. The town was very giving and I was supplied with many new and gently used toys which the help of  valveman11 and Lizzie the Model T, we delivered toys to over 200 kids! Santa really does make house calls. We added a special spark all over town.

I hosted a open house and started a Coco and Carol's which I got to meet many of our neighbors. It was small but a start. I was gifted a old Christmas card by the leaning tree of my house. It was actually something I really wanted...I was happy and at the same time deeply sad. This would be the type of thing I'd call my Mom and tell her all about and I knew shed be pretty excited too because she really liked the house I moved to.. so much she even came out to see it before she passed away. It hit hard and I just miss my Mom... :(

Another part of the down is the continued dealing living with someone with a alcohol addiction. Yesterday I found the purse of the wolf pup that stays with me sometimes empty of all the money she earned..a little over 20 dollars. It was taken by the alcoholic for booze and whatever else. It's a new low. He already stole some loose cash from me and now from the child too. He had a credit card he could of used to fund his addiction but instead chose to steal the little bit of cash we had. The money has been replaced but It's just a new low and I just loose more hope each day. Removing him should be the logical step but its not that easy. If up and going was that easy..I'd up and be gone a long time ago... But there is other factors to consider, pets, wolf pup, house, housing, and other things rotating around it. It just the next thing in a series of things someone will go and do to satisfy their addiction. Even if they admit to the problem.. it doesnt mean they will go through the diligence of fixing it and make every excuse to stick with the addiction they are accustomed to. This maybe TMI but I really don't got another outlet and inside its just turning me more into a bitter bitchy individual each day ..


So Here is hoping Next year will be better...

Living with a addict is hard. I live with an Alcoholic. I am not sure if he is recovering.. or just lying. Today I found a little stash of Money that I had gone. It was money I earned from selling things. It was maybe a couple hundred and I was saving it and sometimes I would look at it to feel better and that I could earn something. Now its gone... spent on boose because the alcoholic just had to have it.

I am heart broken.

I am hosting a Secret Santa! I am taking Sign ups until December 10th at which point those who sign up will be pair with their partner at random. You have until the end of the year to send your gift out. It would be great if everyone could get their gift to their partner by Christmas, but hey Santa can be busy... Given my mom's passing, I have usually found someone to do my yearly Christmas card art by now. Over the years, furs have really enjoyed getting the yearly card, and I hope to continue that this year.

In honor of my Mom who was a purple dragon with a passion for reading..I am hoping to get a piece done that would reflect the last gift she was able to give me before she passed away.. and that simple yet powerful gift was the last "I love you too" I would hear from her..

Of course Its a Christmas scene....etc..

My Mom passed Sept 2nd and her Memorial was Oct 2nd. I packed her things to take home with me. I want to save every little stupid thing but slowly I am letting go.
I head back home on Sunday. I have been in San Diego for the last 6 weeks.

I know it's really going to suck when I want to pick up the phone to call her and I am reminded that shell never pick up the phone agian.

I inherited her watch and went down to the Rolex store to get the links put in and adjusted to me. My Dad wanted to know how much it was worth. I never bothered to ask as to me it is priceless. Grant it, it's a high end item...but I'd feel the same if it was any ordinary watch. I will wear it until the thing falls off or I die.. I'll look at it and it is a symbol of time... I had over 40 years with me mom in my life.. and now I must walk the next 40 years with out her. Gosh that hurts..

My Mom was cremated and she now remains at Miramar National Cemetery. She has a top floor apartment all to herself for a while and lots of neighbors. There is a nice bench right in front to sit and have lunch on. However, I wont be able to do that as I live states away.
