Hey all~

So. Furlandia is in the bag. What a ridiculously fun con! This has seriously been one of my favorite weeks in the past few years. I've been near Portland for the better part of a week at this point. I've been staying with  ragscoon and  chimaera (who are super cute together btdubs). They've been extremely nice hosts for the time I've been here, and they're an absolute hoot. Getting to know online friends of many years for the first time is a really great thing.

In addition to them, I've gotten to hang a bunch with  cardinalfsr,  sulferdragon,  argentfang, and more! Lotsa new buddies.

There were lots of cool moments at the con too. The fursuit parade was about 60 people so it felt really personal. It was like every suit got specific attention, so that was neat. In addition, I got to participate in my first ever fursuit games, which was -awesome-! I had to do charades for the word 'balls,' sigh.

Basically everything about this con was spectactular. I loved being in Portland (probably cause i'm a hipster *cough*) and I can't wait to come back some day :3.

Lemme just say that MCFC was fucking awesome for a (sorta) first year con. There was a great turnout, so there were plenty of people there who weren't shitty. yay. I got to meet some awesome peeps like  doctoralgebra,  huskyboy3,  mtendo_the_skunk (albeit breifly), and some others.

Favorite memories would defo include hailing satan during our room party with the satanic lion martley (not sure about an FA..?), getting fucked up every day, regretting it the next, then continuing to drink....yeah that's about right. I had an awesome time just suiting at the rave every night and meeting random people in the headless lounge. It was so chill.

A downside is probably the all nighter I just pulled because of a schoolwork backup (thanks obama MCFC).

so yeah, I'm satiated with my level of fluff for a while (next con is in a month, so i guess I should start preparing my mind and liver..)

OH and this is unrelated, but I'm 21 as of 2 days ago :3

As the title says, I've made a group all about coffee,  coffeefurs. It's gonna be a place with a wealth coffee knowledge, anything from different flavor profiles of coffee beans, a list of brew methods and the techniques therefore, etc etc. It's gonna be a fun time, anyone with an interest in coffee should jump on board :3

I'll be working for about half of the waking hours (downtown in Qdoba, come find me!), but besides that I'll be jolly around downtown. I'll be sporting a tail a bunch so I shouldn't be too hard to see. I'll probably suit at some point too, assuming I can find the right person to do it with. anyway, if anyone wants to hang out during, lemme know

So I guess I have a few things to mention, clarify, etc, about whateverthefuck just happened.





1. Kind of an important fact, I'm not even gay.
1.5. I have a girlfriend, the wonderful thissquirl (who it just so happens is having a birthday today, go love her).
1.6. I AM however bi, unbeknownst to most.

So lets recap, make sure you got this all. Me = bi, therefore I probably should =  bisexual_furs, but whatever. Moving on.




2. Coming out is a grand thing. 3 people isn't grand.
2.5. 2/3 of the people I told (2 for the math deficient) are internet-bound.

Recap again. About zero percent of the people I know in real life know this. So I haven't exactly come out. If you want, you can use this as my grand coming out.

3. I'm not even going to try and argue "homosexual charisma," we all know I type and sound like the biggest gay alive.

Through and through, I'll only accept my award for gay furfag of the month because i love my friend  mctrowza way too much that I don't care. I'll be an honorary gay for the rest of the month if he wants me to BUT I WON'T LIKE IT >:(.

If all is well, I should have a hotel reservation for the doubletree set by the start of next week. Can't wait, just holy poopie. Only 11451730 seconds until Anthrocon. It's practically here already.

I'll be rooming with  thissquirl,  meinegarr, and possibly  chimaera (or some other unchosen person if he can't make it). Gonna be one hell of a time, that's for sure. 4 days of razzledazzle and fun, i should hope.

Who [of the 10 people who will see this journal] is also gonna be there? If you've done it before, thoughts/opinions? First time there (first con in general), so I'm just curious what you all think.

So i finish a 7 hour shift at the mountain today, so that's 7 hours of standing in the snow. not that bad. But after that, i decided to try snowboarding again. hnng i forgot how hard it is, but i'm definitely improving.
Skiing's still better though :3
