Either something I've done before, a (relatively) new idea to my table, my take on someone else's idea, or a mixture of sorts? Maybe a YCH, or just a "clean" pic for once?
I'm in between making pictures and willing to prioritize parts of my backlog just to see what happens.

Rewriting Hypnodiver Kioshi
Posted 10 months agoI got bored earlier last month reread "Hypnodiver Kioshi", but I've noticed a few errors and problems in my writing and decided to redo the story a bit.
I fixed some errors, removed excess stuff, redid a couple segments, and added a few things, hopefully to make the story easier to read and at least more entertaining as well.
I have already have a copy of the (soon to be) old version on a document, so if anyone wants to see the old version, I have it waiting somewhere.
I wanted to make sure you guys were informed before I do anything.

Posted 11 months agoTL:DR: The big picture is a mess because lazy crybabies have nothing better to do. Help your state, your town, and yourself by focusing on the smaller picture, where you should be. Some people will appreciate you for it more than you think.
You really want this country to improve by voting?
Focus on electing your local and state governments, whoever is in your state government will matter more to you than whoever takes the white house.
The current national election is just an overglorified dumpster fire fueled by the news and the drama consumers they control. No matter who wins, they're going to cry about it for precious internet points and ad revenue. Screw the news, screw doombaiters, and screw drama consumers.
I have no sympathy for anyone who disguises their anger from "didn't get toys this Christmas" to "I blame this person because everyone else said so". I get that feeling, but I did that many years ago myself, and it didn't help me out in the long run. If this hyperfixation is unhealthy for me, then it is also be unhealthy for you too.
If you have the spare time to weaponize irony, emotionally blackmail people into doing your work, believe your own lies, and spit on those who are trying to help you out, then you have spare time to perform exercises, meditate, talk to people on a casual level, or just overall improve your behavior in general.

Posted a year agoHey guys, just checking in and all. I've got a couple things to write down, mostly because I am bored and had a bit of an interesting month.

A quick TLDR: Archiving with a mess, venting from drama; it was a long July.
I have not been drawing for a while, mostly since I've been downloading countless pictures for the past month and a half.
To put a long story short as to why, I've heard Pixiv was performing a dumb rule change back in mid-June, and was supposedly going to be effective on August 1st. However, I believe I might have been tricked since I have NOT heard about anything else regarding it since, and it is probably not as stupid as it seemed, which means I have wasted an entire month and a half downloading pictures for no other reason than archiving.
Even stupider is that my browser started acting up over the sheer amount of downloads within the last week and a half, and deleting the download history up to a certain point causes it to freeze. I vigorously searched for how to fix this odd issue, and I may have amended it to some degree, I will still have to reinstall the browser just to hopefully fix the issue itself.
While I spent most of the month downloading pictures, I've also tried to find other forms of entertainment. Trepang2 released a sweet DLC pack and I gave it a good go for the past week.
As for social issues, having to deal with a bunch of melodramatic bitches who whine over stuff that doesn't apply to them, and then try to come up with magic, whimsical, sensationalistic, movie-trailer-esque excuses on "why we should care", isn't very fun.
I get we're in tough times, but do people really have to copycat news, crying crocodile tears, shaming and out-ironying opposing views, manipulating silverspooned adult children into wrecking their own lives for a FOMO-induced cause that is almost literally thrown away by the following week? Are you social media addicts users THAT spoiled?
All this crap simply boils down to crying for attention. You don't get anything out of it. Not even your like count is enough to make up for it. It means people liked your comment, not you, specifically.
Your life is what it is, whether it's boring, rough, ridiculous, mundane, or otherwise, and you can still make the best of it, but is any of that crap not good enough for you, and enough of an excuse to make life worse for others, instead of helping yourself get better at mundane things in life?
To say the least, It's been a long month, but I'm glad to get all that mess off my chest.
I might make a YCH deal of some kind down the road, we'll just see what happens.

Group hypnosis - A group of characters look at a pendulum or a hypnotic gem.
Alice-ification - Alice puts a copy of her helmet on your character, transforming them into a "copy" of her.
If anyone else has any additional ideas, feel free to let me know.

I have a unique "stacking rule" for the use of characters and variants. I will explain that in a bit.
Half-bodies are 10% off. Portraits are 25%.
This discount will apply with every variant affected by it!
Examples
For a colored picture with a minor background and featuring two characters, that is $19. If it's a half body picture, the total is reduced to $17.10.
Adding a variant of the half-body picture will normally be at +$2, but will be reduced to +$1.80, totaling to $18.90.
Comics - +$4 per panel
Comic commissions will cost the same as a regular commission, but every panel will have a starting cost of +$4 and may increase depending on the complexity. Half-body and portrait discounts will automatically apply per panel, but at half strength. (5% and 12% respectively)
Blood - +$4
Bleeding, scrapes, and non-lethal wounds are allowed, but must be kept at or under the "+15 level". Anything above (including gore, dismemberment, and death/snuff) will fall under the NSFW category.
Fetish & NSFW - +$6
Fetish and NSFW content will be given an immediate bump in price. These two have a tendency to get blurred, so they will fall under the same category.
I understand the popularity of this type of work, but personally, I would also like to try and make some clean stuff every once and a while. Sorry~ >w>'
Background, Blood, and NSFW prices will only apply once per commission. Additional pictures containing such content will not increase the overall price.
Stacking rule
Here is an example of my stacking rule...
You're commissioning a colored commission with a minor background and two characters, the starting price will be $21. The second character will serve as the first "slot". If you want to add a variant of the picture with the two characters, the price will not increase. The variant shares the same "slot" as the second character.
Adding a third character to the commission will add $3, increasing the price to $24; this also adds another "slot". If you add a second variant with the third character, the second variant will share the same "slot". The second variant is more complex than the third character (As an example, $5), which will increase the price to $26. The second variant shares the same "slot" as the third character, so only $2 was added to the final price.
The first variant will not add to the price since the second character is the most expensive item in the "slot", while the second variant will add to it since it's more expensive than the third character. That is where the "stacking" rule comes into play.
This rule may sound complex at first, but it could work wonders for those who want more characters and/or variants at a cheaper price.
Notes and Restrictions
Mixing blood with pr0nz MUST be discussed beforehand. Context is key. ...Right?
Characters aged under 18 (or "juvenile characters") is permitted, but it must be discussed.
A commission featuring such characters with the Blood addition is okay, but still must be discussed for safety reasons.
I cannot draw juvenile characters if the commission is NSFW. They can be aged up, but otherwise, no deal.
No watersports, scat, or diapers. Not my thing.
[Reserved for commission themes that might be overused in the near future. I can get exhausted with certain themes. You'll never know until it happens. I won't either. lol.]
No "hate commissions" (IE: a picture targeting someone or group). Do not make me go further on that.
Tips for newcomers
It is highly recommended that you plan out your commission before first sending it.
Be sure to add proper information, such as ref sheets with a clear and easy-to-understand description. Make sure you put it all in as few messages as possible. You can practice by using a typing program beforehand, such as Google Docs or Microsoft Word.
Be prepared to point out any issues that need to be addressed and fixed as soon as possible, such as any missed or outdated details. Don't hold back any necessary fixes until it's too late, I'd be more than happy to fix anything I may have missed, such as a tail, a missing stripe on a shoe, a logo on a banner, and/or so on. Always avoid potential risks of ambiguity when writing your commission order.
This can help save time (and perhaps a few headaches) for both you and the fellow artist as a result.

Sonic-type anatomy (AKA Mobians) may be my standard, but I am open to draw "standard looking" Pokemon, furries, humans, and other forms as well, but expect a slower process and potentially more errors as I am not used to drawing them.
Any species that is outside of FurAffinity's guidelines will have to be posted elsewhere.
I would prefer to be contacted through FA's notes. Other options are okay if they are necessary.
Payment will usually be discussed around the halfway point, such as after a sketch or before lineart, and will be addressed when near completion. The commission would be postponed until then.

Can't exactly forgive the staff for the crap they pulled, nor the parent company pulling their strings, but I'm giving lesser sympathy for DA's community as well.
InkBunny has claimed to be banning SourceFilmmaker pictures earlier last year, and yet I still see them being uploaded on a regular basis. I've yet to hear anything else regarding that rule. All bark and relying on others to do the biting for them. LMAO.

I guess I'm on a hiatus for now...
Posted 3 years agoI'm pretty sure some of you are aware of my activity on both DeviantArt and FurAffinity right now, but for those who kept my journals muted, my mental health has been relatively low for the past few months.
I haven't been drawing since "The AI Crisis" from September last year. Not because of the useless and fad-driven robots, but those attention-seeking, spam-reliant assholes instead.
(That and the constant "perfect timing" crap that orchestrated it. One of my previous journals should be raving like mad about why... I finished that comic with Kioshi back in October, and that shitstorm is what I'm "congratulated" for.)
The consecutive shitstorms within the three months afterwards have really put a toll on me, and I've reached my breaking point in December. I lashed out at some of my own friends for it, and I've inadvertently burned a couple bridges in the process. I am thoroughly disgusted about what I've done, and I know I won't be easily forgiven about it.
I've held up my anger for so long, I even had the balls to start unwatching people for the slightest of infractions. I've unwatched so many people within the past few months that it's not even funny.
Since the incident in early December, I've been improving bit by bit for the past few weeks, taking every day in my own stride, getting better at focusing on other things that matter more.
Even with what I'm doing, regarding how I feel right now, I don't feel new, proud, or even happy. I don't feel anything except a leash had snapped and I'm running loose, destroying things left and right, for better or for worse.
Overall, I refuse to quit drawing, but breaks are mandatory of course. I'll keep in touch when needed.

And I just wish that I am not greeted with another shitstorm of bullshit whenever I TRY to get back into drawing.

I haven't been drawing since "The AI Crisis" from September last year. Not because of the useless and fad-driven robots, but those attention-seeking, spam-reliant assholes instead.
(That and the constant "perfect timing" crap that orchestrated it. One of my previous journals should be raving like mad about why... I finished that comic with Kioshi back in October, and that shitstorm is what I'm "congratulated" for.)
The consecutive shitstorms within the three months afterwards have really put a toll on me, and I've reached my breaking point in December. I lashed out at some of my own friends for it, and I've inadvertently burned a couple bridges in the process. I am thoroughly disgusted about what I've done, and I know I won't be easily forgiven about it.
I've held up my anger for so long, I even had the balls to start unwatching people for the slightest of infractions. I've unwatched so many people within the past few months that it's not even funny.
Since the incident in early December, I've been improving bit by bit for the past few weeks, taking every day in my own stride, getting better at focusing on other things that matter more.
Even with what I'm doing, regarding how I feel right now, I don't feel new, proud, or even happy. I don't feel anything except a leash had snapped and I'm running loose, destroying things left and right, for better or for worse.
Overall, I refuse to quit drawing, but breaks are mandatory of course. I'll keep in touch when needed.

And I just wish that I am not greeted with another shitstorm of bullshit whenever I TRY to get back into drawing.

I am trying to get back into drawing. Every time I do so, something stupid or bad happens. I've noticed this pattern for a good while, and I'm starting to "get" it.
I took a month to draw countless characters in one picture, and as soon as I finished, Russia invades the Ukraine.At least we all know how that's going. Hats off to Ukraine, and up yours and enjoy your version of Vietnam, Pudding. Ungrateful bastard.
I started drawing a comic, I get peltered with my friends overreacting to a news article regarding Back To The Future "remake" when it was really a Broadway/play adaptation. This overreaction is EXACTLY what news websites want. Fucking puppets.
I try making a simple drawing, I then search up "freeways" out of curiosity, I see a news article of "freeways being racist". "UMG THIS IS RACIST BECAUSE I SAY SO WAAAAH". Attention seeking LOSER.
I do a little cosplaying while drawing, a neighbor dies. She had medical problems prior, but what the hell???
I'm tracing an old picture, the Queen of England fucking dies. HOW???
I continue tracing the old picture, then I make a base out of it and put another character on it as a form of "resilience", and I see a friend complaining about DA shoving another feature into the Core wall AND someone I watch complains about InkBunny "*banning" SFM pictures. Some of you saw my previous journal, that was in light of it. Double combo, two bullshits in one. My fucking favorite.
*TL;DR, from what I could gather, Source Film Maker pictures showing models not made by the artists are the ones getting deleted. Official models from games, not made by the artists themselves. Aside from "copyright excuses", hell if I know why they did something obviously loophole-filled like that. Just get fucking Blender, MMD, or a fucking game snapshot and they won't bat an eye.
Today? Same as the last, resiliently continuing to draw for the sake of it. I then wanted to find out if jellyfish use electricity, I get a Quora ad explaining how Google spies on us outside of their website, a mandatory reminder how [e]corporations are ruling us[/e]. Thanks, DuckDuckGo, I totally needed that information that may be totally not skewered while I'm doing something totally not innocent. Totally.

I've been thinking about uploading more of my stuff to other websites as well. Copy and pasting stuff to other websites isn't hard, just tedious AF...
