I'm sorry to anyone who wanted me to keep patreon up, but tbh it wasn't getting the attention it needed in anyway, I wasn't able to properly keep on top of posting and I wasn't making a lot of money on it either, I think I'd rather just stick to the opening of occasional commissions.

Posted 6 years agoI think I’ve decided that Patreon isn’t my think anymore, tbh I’ve seen a lot of situations now where I don’t really agree with how they’ve dealt with things, and overall I just think it’s too much of a stress for me to keep up, I think I’m gonna stick to opening commissions when I feel up to them instead and leave Patreon for people who can actually keep to a schedule and organise themselves. I’ve been struggling so much with my anxiety recently and thinking about what to do with my Patreon has been one of the things Constantly on my mind

Posted 6 years agoHey ya'll, I have not been in the right place over recent months to actually do anything with my patreon page, and it's basically just a mess at this point , so I'm gonna be trying to sort that out and have a more clear MO and such with it, I'm gonna play around with my tiers and see what I can offer for each one, but I'm definitely going to be simplifying and changing the content I post there, Probably will just be high res images or things I've posted, early access to YCH's and maybe an exclusive image bi-monthly so I have more time, and perhaps rewards for the highest pledges, but for the most part it will just be somewhere that you can show your appreciation for my work and perhaps get to know about me opening commissions or YCH's before I post them here.
I also want to make a Ko-fi account as well as a way of showing support for me and work out if that's something that works better, since patreon do take a cut and I have found it to be quite a tiring platform to use since I don't think I work well trying to create content to monthly deadlines, it kind of stifles my creativity, so Ko-fi might be better as a way of people showing they like my work than Patreon~
But at the moment I'm going to try and sort my Patreon out see how I feel about it, but I think I'm definitely not going to be putting as much into it as I was when it was active before, since I'm not sure I like how it works for me. I may end up getting rid of it all together but I think i need to give it a chance and go at it in a more organised way than I had before and give it a chance at least.
I also want to update my TOS, commission prices and some of my commissioning process, I need to update things since it's been a long while, and I want to try and make a my commissions easier for me and my commissioners.

Posted 6 years agoHey all, I'm sorry for how useless I have been at being online and making any art at all, these last few years have been a lot to deal with mentally, I've not been doing my best, and art has become something I don't enjoy as much as I used to, I think due to the time I had in university and the way I was made to feel about my art because of the course, but I'm hoping soon I will be able to get back on track with posting more, and maybe being a little bit more involved in the community again at least. I deffo wanna commission some more people in the future even if I don't get back into doing a lot of art right away!

Posted 7 years agoHey y’all, kinda out of the blue post here. But recently I’ve been having a really hard time with my fursona. Idk if I really like him anymore, but I really don’t know why? I’m not sure if it’s that I’m tired or his design, or that I’m having an identity thing. I wanted to know what other people think of him, or if people think maybe I should try making a new one. Only problem is he’s been my sona for half my life at this point and it feels weird to replace/completely redesign him, he’s has had a full recolour in his history, but other than that he’s always just evolved very slowly.
What do you guys think of him? And also it I were to make myself a new sona where do I even start?

More delays im sorry ;-; caught the flu
Posted 7 years agoEverything is going very badly for me at the moment, I caught a bug just before a concert I had been waiting months for, so despite dying I forced myself to go, and it was awesome, but it means I am now suffering even more than I was, but I think is just the natural progression of the illness to just get worse before I get better. But yeah basically swollen throat, sweats can barely stay up at this point. And I’m supposed to be traveling home tomorrow too to my mums, which if I go I will once again make myself feel worse, but just like the concert pre-booked tickets so I don’t wanna waste the money. I’m gonna try my best to get work done as fast as I can just wanted to let y’all know why I’ve been so damn slow -_-

Posted 7 years agoHey guys I just wanted to give you a heads up, unfortunately things have not been going so great here, one of my best friends is stuck in hospital at the moment, last night she was hit by a bike, completely shattering her ankle, and she is now stuck in hospital waiting for the swelling to go down so they can operate on her. We were stuck in A&E with her last night for about 5 hours before she got seen. We're gonna have to help her out a lot, her family live very far away so we're gonna be doing our best to make sure she's alright and take care of her. She's also probably coming back to stay with us for a bit when she has got out of the hospital as her flat is up a huge flight of stairs, and we have downstairs beds so we'll probably be helping take care of her for a while.
So I will be doing my best to get my work done within a decent time frame! But I may well be quite slow on it since there's a lot going on here, we also have a fair amount of upcoming work I'm helping with for my friends Uni course, making work for art sales and helping run some fundraising stuff, so my progress might be slow then. AND in march I'm having to head back to my mums, from the 1st to the 14th to help out down there and visit my brother for his birthday. So I may not be opening for march commissions, or at least not until later in the month.

Posted 7 years agoWanted to wish you all happy holidays! I know I have been awful at posting and doing art in general recently, 2017 has honestly been a hell of a bad year for me, but I’m back home with my family for a week or so to celebrate the holidays, but hopefully once everything’s does down again and I’m less busy I will have some more stuff to upload and some new stuff for you in the new year. I’m still unfortunately struggling a lot trying to find money basically to stay in my house so I just can’t do things as much as I used to, I’m hoping in the new year I might be able to do more work again/start commissions up again. But it’s wishful thinking at the moment.
I will be trying to make myself a better routine for art stuff next year hopefully!

Loss of an inspiration, very beaten up right now.
Posted 8 years agoSorry to everyone who I've not been very good at getting back to with messages over the last to days, I'm doing extremely badly emotionally right now.
You've probably heard about the passing of Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington which was all over the media yesterday. Linkin Park was the first ever band I ever called mine, the first sound that ever really resonated with me, I lived and breathed the band in my early teens and they got me through the toughest few years of my life from 11 - 14, where I was struggling through the deaths of my father, and later my Granny and Grandpa. My main OC Michael who I drew more recently Here is still named for the bands second lead vocalist and co writer, he used to have Chester's name as a middle name for a short while, but I changed it over a dumb teenage fight with someone with a sona of the same name lol. I'm considering changing it back now since it's been so long and in light of this.
But anyway...
I wanted to write this here because I am really, not dealing well, I found out last night half way through my shift at work and had to carry on for the next 4 hours pretending I was ok, as soon as I got home I completely broke down and I cried myself to sleep eventually, I have never been so affected by the death of a celebrity, but his voice, and the lyrics of those songs helped me survive, and made me feel like I wasn't alone in the darkest years I've faced so far in my life, it feels almost like losing a friend or a family member. The band and it's members have influenced who I am as a person and that's not an exaggeration, my art and my want to pursue art, the way I think about things, my fashion sense, aesthetics and of course music were all influenced by them, they were a huge obsession, my biggest love for 3 years or more.
To think that he was still suffering so much after dealing with years of hardship, through abuse, addiction and everything life through at him, he seemed so strong, and he seemed like he was doing ok, to know he must have been suffering so badly all alone, cuts so deep.
I don't think I can write much more I'm getting really upset again, and I know this might not make much sense to a lot of people but I am absolutely heart broken. I might not be good at replying to messages for a little while as I'm just in a very strange emotional state right now, I'm going to carry on trying to finish owed work the best I can. But I think I put it into words better than this with the short post I made on my facebook last night, so imma post that here too.
If I had to choose I think "Easier To Run" would be my favourite song by Linkin Park, I've loved so many but as an album Meteora was something else and I've never heard a sound like it before or since. The lyrics have that slight extra sting now. Rest in peace to the man, and the voice that carried me through some really really hard years of my life. sometimes when you're going through a lot of hurt, hearing music that speaks about struggle and is as raw and emotional as this, is just what's needed, something to relate to, to feel like someone understands. She does such lovely high quality work and all for $20 and Under!
Her and her partner really need some money so that they can keep travelling to and from work, buying food etc, they should get their pay at the end of the month, until then they're pretty hard up and I really worry about them </3

Posted 8 years agoHey all! I'm back around properly for the summer and I wanna try and post more art more often.
I need to pay off my uni (college) debt, I wanna try and wipe it completely, it's been on my back for 2 years now because of a depression splurge in my first year. Basically I have been stuck living my my overdraft for the last two years
cause all of my money I make back has ended up going straight out on rent etc once I have it.
I really want to have a clean slate this year so I don't have to worry about it anymore,
I'm receiving a lot less money to live on next year and honestly it's really scaring me.
I'm going to be working as well over this period, but I need to try and get some commissions to fill in,
because from what I have worked out so far I will not manage to make the money back through working alone.
I'm currently down -£1486 it's not looking particularly great, >_>

This is my best place to see art other than here but I will post stuff there that I wouldn't post here so much, like fan art, my human characters etc, and I am always open for drawing suggestions there for fanart and stuff! So want free art of a character you like, if it's from a series I know you got a good chance!

Posted 8 years agoOk I will actually be trying to submit more art this year! That's my new years resolution do more commissions, and more art for myself and actually POST!
Also cleaning up the page, deleting old art and journals, cleaned up and made a clear price list. Going to make an attempt to clean up all my social media and posting platforms, so hopefully here, my Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram should be in a decent shape sometime this week!
I have been very absorbed in pokemon though >u>; So we will see how I manage
