Moving pains/death of relatives
Posted 2 months agoA few bizzare things have developed this summer. They took full attention. Im still not out of the woods yet.
1. Escape of the slummy apartment complex I used to live in. We were accepted to a new place, but the scope of things that went wrong are intense.
2. I had two relatives die back to back within the last few months from June into early September. My sister and father.
Realistically, ill let you all know when things have calmed down. Pleasant days!

Full Trump supporter/ voter ban: MN Assassinations update
Posted 5 months agoFormerly, this ban was on commission purchases. This ban is now extended to far more than that. There is a 100% restriction on requests, art trades, requests for information, and anything I can think of, really.
Melissa Hortman, an unflashy and hardly luxurious state representative with no intent to involve herself in Washington, was killed in her own home with her Husband. The gunman was a registered republican and vocal trump supporter and voter. He had periodic fantasies about being in the military, the security industry, is an anti abortion extremist & transphobic. He also attempted to kill one of our state senators, John Hoffman, who barely survived 17 bullets between him and his wife. John Hoffman's wife Yvette jumped on their daughter Hope to act as a human shield as gunfire pulsed.
A reminder that the person to try to assasinate Trump was also a republican and ironically, trump supporter.
The reason this political party likes to accuse any political spectrum outside of themselves as "violent" is because they are always looking for fights and have a false sense of kindness and charity. Mass shooters have repeatedly trended as conservatives. They complain about crime daily and then commit murder in a demonstration of ineptitude that could be the sole reason extraterrestrial aliens dont contact us.
R.I.P. to Melissa Hortman & her husband, who fought tirelessly to create legislation to protect our environment and push clean energy into the state to mitigate anthropomorphic climate change and was focused on environmental justice and wildlife in much of her agenda.
Our actually real furry friends are probably worse off without her, and I hope that lawmakers can continue to take the helm tirelessly against conservative attempts for profit at the destruction of our forests, waterways, and natural features.

Quick note on the raffle
Posted 8 months agoHey all:
I have decided that due to a family reunion trip that is about a decade+ in the making, it would be wise to try to organize the raffle *after* such an affair is concluded in the later portion of the month of May. Plus, I can make the raffle pride themed if I do it in June. I don't want to do it in July however, as it will compete with Artfight 2025 for my attention. Anything later than that and I may as well wait to do another milestone anyways, lol.
Regarding that trip, it will be arduous and hard on the bodies of all of us traveling, but rugged terrain is rugged terrain. Our relatives have the audacity to live and work in Hawai'i, so it is not a trip you want to fuck up or be fcked up for. The last time I was there, was several months after I had even made this account in 2011. One thing about Hawai'i you won't really experience unless you go there and be a pedestrian is that, yeah, it's pretty beaches and ooo pretty and tropical....
...but...bruh, that is mountains, and this is about to be training in them for 2 weeks, as I joked about with my spouse. Haha! Go with a good pair of hiking shoes and you won't get into trouble.

Celebration Raffle: Watchers auto entered
Posted 8 months agoHello all, and good afternoon or time where you are.
As promised, the 100 watcher celebration raffle planning is in progress. I will be giving away multiple rewards to people based on a sliding scale of how my watchers list changes by the time I drop the raffle details and start in: APRIL
March will be used to prepare for the raffle and plan rewards for winners, and create prizes in advance from scratch. Since I wish to create small entry prizes for my original watcher population prior to the publication of this journal, I will be going through my watchers to make sure you get a small doodle based on your icon to celebrate your time as a watcher regardless of if you are inactive, active, talkative, or a lurker.
I expect to select 5-10 main winners with 100+ watchers, but I want main prize distribution to be fair and for active accounts, of course. No point in getting a prize if you can't or don't claim it, right?
As the title suggests, if you are watching me by April you will be automatically entered into the raffle for when I drop it. You may encourage others to enter who are looking for free art or sentimental crafts. Stay tuned for additional details on this, and have a lovely day.

Living machine art input needed for ideas and tags
Posted 9 months agoHello, I'll be working on some living machine art soon and here's what I'd like to know:
1. Does anyone have a machine category they want to see me do that is NOT related to military vehicles, such as civilian automobiles, appliances, audio engineering equipment, yada yada
1.5. Does anyone want military machines/ technology, and if so what manufacturer and make of what?
2. What would you prefer for specific tags? Aeromorph is one phrase that saw increasing traction between now and 2017, but other [noun]morphs exist out there. Planes, trains, automobiles, yada yada. What have you seen? Railmorph for trains? Navalmorph for ships? Treadmorphs for tanks? Cyclemorphs for cycling vehicles?
I'm just throwing things out here, I did NOT coin aeromorph in any capacity but I also don't know what we have been using to categorize specific make and models of things. No, the Amtrak empire builder should probably not be tagged as "Aeromorph"
3. Over time I've followed living machine artists and while they aren't the main components of my submitted FA gallery, I have aeromorphs littered everywhere in physical sketchbooks I am too lazy to show to anyone but my spouse. I'm looking for more artists who do that type of stuff so if you have reccomendations, please dump them here at your leisure or not at all, I'm not the boss of ya
4. Did you have a good valentines day? If you have nothing to comment about the last 3 things, just tell me something that happened on heart day. I made a dinner for family the next city over, we all had fun, and my spouse and I were gifted......vintage silver & cobalt blue glass east dragon decal salt and pepper shakers manufactured from occupied japan? I guess it will match the twin east dragon candle sticks we received from OTHER family. I suppose being the "dragon art supplier" of the family can catch on over time?
Anyways I'm going to go back to my professional career of lurking until someone says something or I feel like saying another thing and uploading another doodle. Ye.

Re: non con is rape
Posted 10 months agoBased on the title, this journal is discussing elements of sexual assault depicted in fictitious works. Don't view if you're not in the space to, etc.
Chuckled to myself this morning. Not sure why I think its funny, but there was a banner for a game where someone is asking us to play a nsfw game that was worked on hard for a whole year in earnest. "Cw for non con" it cheerfully is labeled. At least that's polite, but also? I've been thinking about this.
Calling rape and sexual assault "non con" as a synonym feels a bit just as sanitized and ethically removed/useless as calling someone who is homeless "unhoused". "Forced orgasm" is in the same line. I have seen people genuinely think that "non con" doesn't mean rape in passing here and there through my life. So, I that adds to the "huh?" Aspect.
I have to wonder where this comes from, and recall a funny (more like sad/pathetic) test they did on a class of teen boys where boys revealed that they cannot identify what is and isnt rape on their own when the circumstances of rape are described to them without the use of the actual word. Do by chance, those types of boys who have become men think that changing the wording will help them re-categorize their fetish? Why bother?
Personally, I'm not into that fetish due to multiple factors and finding that the people who make it their specialty to draw consistently are generally speaking, awful to deal with in real and online life. Like, can you believe it? The guy who gets his gold drawing rape fetish art all the time may not be well adjusted by the time you meet him in real life even if you didn't even come out here to "kinkshame".
I feel like if you are new to the sex positivity movement, it's easiest to say "don't kinkshame ΓΉwΓΊ" but even following that pop kink psychology requires some level of discernment. Some people draw rape art as a way to cope with their trauma, but won't post it online or share with others out of fear of it becoming fap material online. Some people need to draw elements of sexual assault due to the story they are working on containing it, even if it's not terribly explicit.
I have to get going, but I think no matter what I'm still going to be baffled as to why Fandom spaces wanted to use the word noncon to tag explicit work when not everyone knows what it means and is shorthand for, and rape as a tag will be more easily identified for English speakers and typers.

Merry crisis: Emergency dental Saga -w-
Posted 11 months agoWhat it says on the tin. Can't really eat or drink or I feel like I'm getting socked in the face by a two ton truck. The soonest exam I could schedule on Monday, is tomorrow the 26th. ALWAYS mention you can't eat or drink when filing a dental emergency.
That being said, the best Christmas present I got was getting to have Christmas eve gathering for the first time in 3 years (after routinely doing it all my life) with my eldest sister, who declared she was cancer free earlier this year and was able to be a witness at my marriage officiating earlier this year. She was able to host this year after finalizing her divorce, moving away from her house and moving off to a new apartment to recover from...well, she is a private person, so whatever happened to her over the course of a few decades. I wish her well on her healing journey.
Though, she is a very thoughtful gifter. She takes gifting very seriously and will almost never gift straight cash or giftcards, preferring to get what you would have gotten yourself as a treat with laser guided precision. I have to say, I did miss that for a good 3 years where we had no idea what she was doing or up to. I saw her twice in person, visiting her home once on a determined whim traveling 3 hours by bus, and another time I simply detoured there coming home from a mandatory in person work appointment to my former HQ. I figured it would be a good idea to establish that not only had I totally detached from my ex fiance, but that now I had a new engagement that felt like it was actually going to go through.
An overall pleasant Xmas this year despite the ongoing health complications. Plus, we had heavy snowfall for this Christmas so it actually felt esthetically synchronized rather than just being barren and cold, but not cold enough for snow in time for Christmas.
Id like to mention for transparency, while I am on good terms with progressive Christians & celebrate Christmas, I do not consider myself particularly Christian and some would say I had an interfaith upbringing even if most of my family has been various denominations. Ultimately I find religion being 100% optional to be a relief. I have found that I am not a fan of any major religion, even outside of Christianity and cannot take devout, pious folks seriously on various matters as their religious beliefs delude their ability to perceive the physical world around them for what it is.
Or worse, outright refute it if they do "perceive" it.
Moving on, I hope to submit more art in 2025 and perform various things to obstruct the intent and goals of the incoming extremist right-wing organizations and goverment that will be knocking on our doors in January.
A reminder to anyone reading this, that Minnesota is a trans refugee state. As of January 1st, gender affirming care will be a required insurance coverage for non religious companies when it is found as medically necessary, which is going to be in every case where you say you have already socially transitioned. The older you are the faster you will be granted HRT. Our main 3 state insurance programs have no major religious affiliation. Personally, I'd get out of the Bible belt and southern states while you have a chance to actually think about what you are doing.
By the time the end of January comes in for 2025, you will not be able to stop the onslaught of bad news to distract you from your goals of getting to safer locations. Id just book it or bunker if you cant leave. Learn practical skills and fuck off, worked for me.

Deny, Defend, Depose: Healthcare worker perspective
Posted 11 months agoI would like everyone know, who is not in the healthcare industry that we are all tired, and disgusted at healthcare legislation, policy, and that includes insurance beuracracy.
Our bitter pill we as workers who are also affected by insurance denial of claims and financial hardship, family health woes, are that while this will rattle the ultra rich CEO demographic, the philosophy that allows these systems to *occur* and *prosper* still has yet to be dismantled. It should be understood that how insurance claims are processed is affected SO much by politics, when you vote you are also voting how your state and federal body regulate healthcare companies.
As a law abiding citizen who prefers due process and civil order, I cannot ever say I condone or condone brazen assassination/murder, I can only say that it bodes unwell for the political arena and high profile capitalists to constantly ignore the rage of the American public that is so fed up, they will vote a racist rapist cheesebag into office while simultaneously chant for blood of CEOs that are then assassinated outside of 1 on 1 armed combat.
Dragoneer is still dead because of the insurance companies and corporations that violate and abuse an ill populace while making record profits even within "inflation", even if his actual death can be tied to staff negligence. What forces were present to make it unreasonable to seek different and more competent providers? So many factors are present in stories like that. Insurance aspects are definitely a part of people struggling to pay for care.
Now, What do we actually call it when companies make record profits, but "inflation" as a phrase is tossed around like toilet paper, from food conglomerates, airlines, to healthcare claims processing?
Listen, I used to make between $10-$11.50 doing what *I am still doing* a decade later. My pay is now between $19-$20 and will only go up to either $21 or $22 next year based on my "*experience*". The union bargaining for home healthcare workers leads for everyone to be at $20 for entry level pay. I'm at 38/40 work credits in terms of being able to apply for social security and not be denied on *basis* of not having enough work experience via said credits. I have put in my time to the American workforce 100%. I have seen things that demonstrate why the USA is a laughing stock for healthcare except for the rich, who are able to afford all the highly skilled people who earned their credentials and operate here. Its horrific.
It does something to you. Changes something in your psyche.
The only thing I can do aside from illegally incite violence and crime is tell people to not just vote, but *communicate* with your local and federal politicians and put your stories and desires out there.
In the USA, murder is not ever generally justified legally, and the political arena is still the safer option to joust in to see lasting change vs short term vindication
While I cannot condone murder, I can say that violence should be expected by people in power if they are not able to gracefully meet the demands and struggles of the population they preside over. Ineptitude should not be so prolific that anyone has to die in a national, highly publicized spectacle in order to get people to consider:
"Am I the one who let the vampires in, or have I been the vampire the whole time?"

Fires lasers from my eyeballs
Posted 12 months agoHad a crazy morning, I took so many phone calls and juggled so many bogus unexpected things, I don't even want a medal because that would imply it would commemorate anything positive.
No, I am going to reclaim today by going to see Moana 2 this evening with my spouse. I do not care if it is great or sucks, I just want to gtfo and hit a movie and an aquarium with a friend who has also been going through it.
Tbh I don't know a soul who isn't struggling in some way or putting in x2 the effort to secure their financial security if they have it. Everyone is on some sort of grind and I gotta say I'm just going to keep on chugging.
The only thing I can say is that for some of us, it does not ever "get better" we just wind up getting tougher and smarter. So the struggles seem less overwhelming.
I wish more people made update journals to mention casual things they are up to, you absolutely do not have to reveal detailed personal info to do this. I think for every personal update journal there are 10 or 15 commission journals. I am going to say if I read every one, that would be impossible. It's so overwhelming, lol.
Anyways, I hope everyone keeps trying their best. If you are anxious about the future...I dont think a single human in the last 200,000 years hasn't thought "this is different, though. I've never seen this type of scenario" in some sort of way. Clearly we surviving members are still here and doing what our ancestors did, worrying worrying worrying. Except it's less likely now you will get mauled by literal big cats, bears, and other beasts that send great apes flying into the sky. Personally, I think this is a great perk on why I'm living in the optimal timeline in all cumulative human history, as well as the invention of the toilet and other engineering that makes civilization a bit more worth the worry.
Enjoy native American heritage day on Friday the 29th this year, we are due to have our feast then. I don't know what turkey day is because I got burnt out on turkey in the 90s ( that onlu took a few years of being alive) and never recovered. Now I make a full salmon fillet for autumn & winter holiday events.

Posted a year agoNovember 20th is coming again.
I am privileged to have family that are savvy to the transgender demographic and who find the violence against us hideous. My mom only really misgenders my wife and I because she has dementia and wasn't exposed to transgender topics when young.
My sister's are gen X and both know how to use they/them on me. It's not always perfect, but it's better than the sneers of swine some individuals have to go through, or the bite of lethal domestic violence.
If you would like to do something for free for my birthday (November 20th), I encourage leaving me shouts on my page with links to yellow butterfly images, funny memes you like, messages of support, or to just follow me on bluesky:
https://bsky.app/profile/f22raptor.bsky.social
Thanks!
P. S. The raffle is at 96 watchers. Tell your buddies I'm looking for 100 to get it going all the way.

Election 2024: "This is nothing!"
Posted a year agoI've seen a lot of people disturbed that Trump won again. Here's the thing: The moment he became a felon, went through all those legal affairs, blah blah blah, and still wound up on the ballot?
I knew he was going to get elected by European ancestry America & The manosphere, in the cradle of vapid white privilege that affords you to think he can "fix the economy" when the economy will always be broken and can only be smashed further by anthropogenic climate change operating outside of the Natural procession of nature. I knew he pulled strings and planned enough in advance to make it so that he could bypass the law, and I had months to process that he would become president again (NOT without valiant opposition)
I told my spouse I didn't feel numb, and that I have the same level of disgust and repulsion that I have had since America elected him in 2016. I yelled at them this:
"I don't know if people know where I came from before saying I was allegedly strong, but I am used to having entire classrooms dog pile up on me, peers betray me, physically and verbally fuck with me, and it never stopped. Someone has always had a problem with me just existing. The only difference between now, and then--I got older, tougher, and stronger.
THIS IS NOTHING. NOTHING."
We shook hands in an unspoken pact after I said that--as a Married T4T couple that many white supremacists would see as undesirable as interracial.
My mom lived through Reagan, Nixon, my grandpa fought in WW2, my great grandpa in WW1, and the women in the ancestry have endured horrors and came out rebels. There's clearly the ability to adapt and survive.
What I am about to witness in the next decade is still nothing in comparison to what my ancestors went through. Both the ones that dared to cross the Atlantic by free will and seen as human automatically, and the ones that arrived far earlier as chattel slaves against their will.
My will to survive, shall continue. I will not be leaving the country, I will not be making efforts to "lay low". None of that.
I will continue here. It will be hard, but at NO point is something this serious, easy. I am just lucky that I am an adult by now, and not the terrified child looking on as George W. Bush became president.
....Anyway, it goes without saying that Trump voters, and Trump sympathizers are indefinitely barred from receiving art services from me, are not allowed to engage in art trades & collaborations, and will be denied free requests. You may seek these services elsewhere. Any attempt to evade will be met with blocks and bans with 0 appeal chance.

Backlog
Posted a year agoYeah it's there. I did art fight 2024, and have yet to upload the many pieces I did for that, as they were all traditional medium. It's probably the easiest glance at what my "casual" painting and art style is, where I'm not trying to make every little stroke perfect due to the work being paid. Very refreshing.
But it's not just art fight, my irl circumstances sap days and weeks of my time for healthcare work, and I really just don't upload everything as I do it. Sometimes I do, but that's a treat.
It'll get done, eventually.
Raffle update: we are at 95 watchers. No, no slack on that, it has to be 100 even for 72 hours still, haha. The raffle won't be able to happen immediately once I hit 100, but it will begin more formal planning before an announcement.
Anything else? Uhhh let me open a file cabinet....
Says
"
P.S. fuck transphobes, steal from lyncher sympathizers, eat your veggies, do NOT do cocaine or heroin, pet something soft, and don't paint on white canvas in direct sunlight!"
Well, it is what it is *shrugs* but that painting tip would be ideal for any person still doing traditional work.

Tim Walz: educator & Healthcare reform hard hitter
Posted a year agoTl;dr I love Walz he's funny and J. D. Vance is a creep!
---
More:
I don't need to debate the following as a Minnesota Resident who has received overall, terrific mental health and physical health services. Walz is our best governor since maybe Jesse Ventura--who I met earlier this year, also a funny if not crass guy being a former wrestler. I asked him what he would draw if he could do art and gave me an intriguing philosophical answer I'll keep to myself. Anyways, why Minnesota for the blue ticket?
LGBT people who come here from the south and deep south are shocked and invigorated at what life could look like without constant overt discrimination and bigotry. In medical settings, my pronouns are respected and so is my gender, even among particularly religious citizens. It's not perfect, but they say it's better.
So, about Walz:
-pro LGBT since forever ago. MN Legalized same sex marriage 2 whole years before a federal ruling in 2015. I still remember when the mayor ordered rainbow flags to replace all usa flags on a local bridge in a awesome, unforgettable celebration.
- one of the best cold climate responses to covid-19 in the USA, masks are still available on public transit as of 2024 even as covid denial runs rampant. Most of the state has at least received 2 step initial vaccinations.
-open and so far only governor in the USA to express stand in alliance with the T in LGBT. Minnesota is a self proclaimed refugee state for transgender people, and people who have moved their families here have waves of emotions.
- sick leave "ESST" guaranteed legal right. While not much in comparison to other nations, some progress is better than none, or regressive policy.
-bolstered protections for warehouse workers, education workers, Healthcare workers, and construction workers
- invested in education, after being a high-school teacher for years himself. PAY TEACHERS MORE.
-lowered prescription drug costs. I pay $1 for a medicine that costs $359-450 usd. My wife can pay $25 for $1300 medication
- Funding for nursing homes to invest in higher standards for the aging population to be treated with dignity
-Strengthened environmental protections
- FREE SCHOOL LUNCHES FOR ALL CHILDREN. LUNCH MONEY BULLIES ARE OFFICIALLY UNEMPLOYED!
There's more, positive stuff, but let's mention the 1 thing I'm not too happy he did:
Called in the national guard to quell crowds during the George Floyd police murder protests here. To be fair, it was eventually proven that the most incendiary people who caused the most physical damage in the protests were from OUT OF STATE. Numerous people crossed state lines to protest in Minneapolis (as they should have, 1312) and while I dislike property damage, theft, and destruction, I abhor racist cops on a far deeper level as they continue to shatter American dreams for millions.
However, that being said, he does have an actual ojibwe woman as his vice governor. This was historic to have on his ticket, as plenty of portions of Minnesota are a part of the ancestral homeland of President alongside the dakota/lakota in general. Peggy Flannagan could potentially be the first native American governor in USA history if Walz leaves his position to be Vice president.
The way I see it, the USA has one shot to make history, or regress back to Mr. Pro racist and facist cheeto puff. You pissed about sky high medical costs that people want to keep the same or rise higher? Did someone notable just die because of medical bullshit that didn't need to happen? Has it happened even before this? Yes indeed, and we HATE THAT HERE. If it's going to happen, we don't just shrug and say "ah, that's life", no, there's a passion to do something about it.
In the event of a loss this November, I know where I'm staying put.

Goodbye to Dragoneer
Posted a year agoI don't have any feel good stories like others do of this man, who appeared to be a good friend despite controversy and friction with others over the years. I am frustrated with the circumstances of his death, and implications for the USA, which contrary to popular belief...has great healthcare...if you are by chance, middle class or rich. If you cannot afford healthcare while "middle class" and present as that braket, you are not actually middle class. But, the middle class vanishes more and more each day as rich folk squeeze out the attention of healthcare providers everywhere. Racial disparities join class disparities. A $24K bill is a fairly high amount even for a "wealthy" family that isn't composed of millionaires. For others, it ruins and ends lives.
I only casually use FA, and it's existence was not formative to me being a Furry, like it was others. So, I can only comment in a detached sort of way. I have seen so much death and destruction since I was 5-7, I can only pay my respects as those who pass, pass daily. It all still matters.
But, what is annoying to me is that Virginia has once again shown that it cannot compare to other states who have superior healthcare. I have at least one friend who is alive because he bothered to move back to MN after medical personnel were not able to correctly handle his developing heart issues.
This story was unusual at first, but then I had more people who moved out of state, flee back here. Another friend of mine is due to be back soon from Louisiana, who has asthma. Really, a lot of my friends and myself have been able to bridge gaps in health problems in this state, which, if it is going to call itself a trans refugee state, has to also know how to deal with our health problems. Not just for trans people, but for everyone.
I feel like all 50 states should have equal quality care, and that becoming a physician or specialist shouldn't be so expensive. If this problem is solved, we should have a less short staffed medical body in this nation, and less cases like Dragoneer and thousands of others play out. Nothing is more sour than:
"It didn't need to happen like this".
May the memories people forged with him, be cherished.

100 watcher art raffle
Posted a year agoI don't keep track especially of how many watchers I have on here or anything, but 100 watchers is a nice little number to celebrate.
So, when I get to 100 watchers I will host an art raffle with 1-3 prizes depending on how many people join. You may get a surprise just for joining anyways. No, we aren't talking about bad surprises, just something for participating.
The counter is currently at: 97. Why not tell a buddy to watch and get a shot at a free request?
The raffle will be orchestrated even if I get more than 100 watchers, but only if the watch list stays 100 for 72 hours. Then I will begin planning the event for late this summer into fall if there is enough interest. When this occurs, I will need at least 3 people to enter. Thank you for reading! : )
P.S. my ear infection is doing better ^_^

Brutal ear infection
Posted a year agoThe long story of this journal is: ow ow ow motherfucker!!!!! However at least, I did aquire anti biotics after several twists and turns on comedy level cartoon bizzareness. Hoping they work, FAST. I aquired the infection hot out of the shower in my apartment π© around Tuesday of last week actually. My hard rule for pain is that if the pain is so great I cannot sleep or chew, that warrants ER or Urgent care. Urgent care was more successful as the ER was PACKED. We only went because all the Urgent care facilities had closed and the hospital was nearby. My doctor didn't even examine my ears that much before spotting the infection rapidly. Glad I worked up the energy to get out!
The short version of this journal is: OW FUCK MY EARS!!!!

Artfight + personal updates
Posted a year agoHello all,
I will be participating in artfight this year on team seafoam. If you have ever wanted to do an art trade with me but have been too shy, why not try it this way? It is pleasant to see how coordinated and easy to participate in artfight has become.
I have been thinking about creating culinary pieces based on ocs I find interesting, and since I cook for 3 people total it's not like anything I make would go to waste. To avoid implications of vore I don't want, I may or may not keep dishes to go with drawn character art as plant based.
Onto more personal things:
I have officially been married and will be changing my name with the social security administration soon. To save finances, I have decided to move my elderly mother in with us. She has dementia and I am her primary day to day caregiver. She aquired dementia after surviving a TBI (traumatic brain injury) that she got after surviving sepsis and a 9 day coma. Last rights were performed on her by a catholic priest...but she made it. By catholic doctrine, if you survive death after last rights, it is an Actual Miracle.
She is turning 77 this year and I am determined to make sure she has a comfortable life into her end of life care. Despite the dementia she still retains her intelligence and educational merits with a masters degree in Arts and Human Development. During our move, I was petrified to move her masterpiece: a Grandiose 3 piece framed installation of Japanese style silk paintings. Each of the frames are at least 6 feet long, but we at least got it down and are wrapping up small objects.
With all our possessions combined, I hope to finalize a schedule for uploading here and breaking my old standard of "mostly furry art only". Let's just say the paper clutter has been intense for awhile and I'm relieved I'll finally be able to go through it all and archive everything properly. Wish me luck.

Regarding cuntboy/femboy terminology
Posted a year agoIt has a strong history of transphobia. For over a decade. I mostly spit on your justifications for using it since I don't need to wash my toilet with slur reclamation discourse every Friday. I literally don't care. If you didn't know it has a history of transphobia associated with it, alright, but don't bring me into the politics about it. Straight up I don't want to be around anyone who describes any of the characters I make or my friends characters like that.
Especially when we repeatedly say, "no, not cool here".
Daily I am glad I am not an edgy teenager who ever thought using the n slur was slick to use just because I was black and had the right to use it whenever. I don't need lectures on "hard slurs" or terms associated with bigotry and discrimination even if not "verifiable slurs".
I will not commission you, and I will also not work commission for you either. 3 strike policy, etc.

2024 update: Cannabis leaves in salad π₯
Posted 2 years agoHello all,
I was busy the greater majority of 2023 with work. Some of the most unpleasant and grimey senior care you can do, and for little pay out. I even learned recently that I don't earn PTO doing work for a specific client. Bummer, since I have to guide myself to increased health maintenance as I edge closer to aquiring my HRT in consistent format.
Art goals:
I have writing and YCH in the works. My hopes are to post them here and there. I am brushing up some of my foundations and studying the science of creature design via terryl whitlatch, who did creature design for Star Wars. Think Jabba the Hutt and Jar Jar binks. Check out her books, of course.
I hope to post backlog in 2024, but it will be slow as usual.
Marriage:
I will attempt legal marriage in 2024 with my beloved. While I may be polyamourous, the USA has a stipulation that you may only marry one person legally, and I have found that love...100% on accident on Discord, of all places in 2021. 3 years later, I have moved my dearest in from another state in the Midwest and have found happiness. Dont ever let anyone tell you that internet friends arent real. Tell your crush who is openly crushing on you its ok to ask you out, you never know. Its what I did to them, lol.
Vehicle studies:
Due to a car crash that almost took my mother's life in 2008 but also stole our only vehicle from us, I never learned to drive myself, only be extremely savvy with public transportation. However, I have found myself increasingly closed in on for needing a vehicle of my own to reliably serve myself and my partner. I will be working on my state's driver manual.
Health:
My health declined a bit in 2023. For 2024 I am going to continue what I was doing in 2023. I drink a gallon of water every day, and probably give my indoor plants more than that. In 2023 it became legal to grow cannabis in my state, so I have been doing as such. If you didn't know, you cannot get high on ingesting raw cannabis leaves, but I would like to comment that curiosity led me to chewing on the leaves as in adult life I enjoy vegetables and herbs much more than when I was a minor.
Imagine my surprise to find it similar in taste, but not quite, to mint?! Huh?! I feel like this is an interesting plant to work with for herbal seasoning. By all concerns, I still believe Oregano has my heart as far as herbal seasoning goes, and I am hoping to grow it as well in 2024. I bet you can't guess what any of my YCHs will be about when my room is full of various plants, including a ficus lyrata (fiddle leaf fig) that is 8-10 feet tall. We have kept them for over 30 years. Their name is "Ganesha".

Brief update again
Posted 3 years agoHealthcare industry is a big challenge right now. We are short staffed perpetually, and it doesn't help that my mother wound up in the ER over the weekend.
I haven't been able to do much painting or drawing but I have been making merchandise.
On the 19th of August me and my partner moved in together. We are a T4T couple and I am very happy with them as dating cisgender people poses a few challenges I see other trans people lament over in ways that signal to me I don't wanna deal with.
My partner is transfeminine and I love her lots so I hope down the road we can tie the knot. It is helpful that she is a furry too, though her tastes are at times not my usual cup of tea as far as kinks and other strange erotic topics. However, I'm currently still holding back weird depraved nsfw sketches I've had the idea of doing as I wanna maybe surprise her or keep her on her feet. It might not be her cup of tea also, but we will find something to make work.
I will be trying to upload art here and there now that I've recalled my password for a moment here.
I've also been playing pokemon go, so if you are interested in exchanging FCs....just let me know.

Lunar new year approaching
Posted 4 years agoComes to close the year of the ox.
In comes the tiger.
Hope you're ready to be fierce. Tigers are noted for their strength, tenacity... but are known to be cruel and unrelenting.
Watch out! If you're a human reading this: a tiger in person will always be dangerous. Always remain a safe distance from real tigers π π
