As a general question. I usually just draw what I want and what I like and I have an audience revolved around what I draw, BUT...

Is there anything you'd like to see more of?

Any specific commissions you'd like me to take?

Any adopts species you prefer?

I'm just curious since this is my main and only source of income, I want to be able to make more pieces my audience would enjoy, be it personal or sold characters. ^^

Yesterday I tried to stream as usual and I thought everything was fine until some of my friends stated the stream kept buffering, pausing, etc...

Turns out, while my download speed is amazing, somewhere around 200mbps, my upload speed is averaging around .07... When it should be at 25. Heck, I would have been happy with at the least 7-10...

So I will be having a tech visit on the 29th as the soonest they can come out. Meaning.. I can't stream. I will still work and TRY to upload stuff on my work days, but hell, this sucks...

I would say for the full piece, $50-$70? Depending on complexity.

It's actually quite a bit of frames, plus a blink, and eye shift. I would make each frame via SAI and animate it in photoshop.

I suppose I will take 2 slots as of right now.

I will offer an icon version with a background/transparent, and a larger version if you want to plug it in on streams, overlays, etc.

In addition, I can throw up a speech bubble that says "Hello!" or something similar as well.

So I have one person in queue at the moment, this weekend I will also be taking in stream sketch commissions. BUT I am open for some more!

Starting out with 3 slots.

I'm willing to do ref sheets, which would be a two pose/sides, 2 headshots, mouth, eye, paw(if applicable), and pallet showcase for 120 dollars. Anything extra will cost more, you do not need a reference sheet and I will gladly design you a character.

I will also have sketches of course. 25 dollars for a full body piece. additional features like color and shading are 5 each, background can be anywhere from 5-10.

I have single character inked colored pieces available as well. 60 dollars, shading and background extra.

So, I've been working from home as a remote tech for a security system. While it may be easy, it's incredibly stressful and customers can be soooo entitled at times. It's a full time job and it's just becoming so exhausting.

I live alone in an apartment with a cat and a snake. No savings. I don't hate it! I love the privacy and the freedom to walk around with no one seeing or judging me whatsoever.

BUT, if I were to switch to having art be my main source of income. How feasible is that? I'd need to make anywhere from 1000-1200 a month.
If I were to stick to a schedule, streaming anywhere from 4-5 times a week, 8-12 hours a day. Do you think that would work? I have a small audience with some regular friends/customers.

OKAY, so math time. If I stream 4 times a week, one day ALL in stream sketches. A full body sketch is 20-30 dollars, I can complete them within 30mins-2hours, so that would be like 100 minimum. FOR the other three days, lets say I had only ONE commission at the base price of 60, which would be like a fully body, inked, colored, and shaded piece. That would be 180. Giving me a total, a week, of 280. 280x4 is 1160.

Math.

This is just going by the least amount of money earned and the most time something would take. I could get two comms done in a day OR do like 8 sketches in one day. It's all subject to change. In addition, one ref sheet is about twice as much as a base commission and I actually like making refs. xD So even better.

So what do you think? What is your opinion? Any advice to me?

I get the sketch stage done for each comm this weekend. So expect some WIP approvals in your Notes to voice any changes.
Next weekend, I ink/clean sketch. Again, I will post for approval, but only minor changes can be made at this stage.
I'm gone for the weekend of March 29th-31th, nothing will be done.
Weekend after that, I will hopefully finish comms, if not, it will linger on into the week and officially be done the weekend after.

I have a job, so it eats a lot of my day.

So I've been living alone for a short while. I moved into my own apartment back in March and have been working a full time job for almost a year now. Job has honestly been pretty hectic, a bunch of people are constantly quitting and getting fired because people keep calling in. We've taken on a lot more than we can handle and it's honestly eating away at me.

I've started to recently get back into art. Not so much commissions, but just personal stuff to keep me sane. HOWEVER, I have continued gaming, a lot. Haha.

I play mainly LoL, but I do really enjoy FF14, MHW, Overwatch, Fortnite, and a few other games here and there. I would honestly love to just play games and draw all the time.

Since Twitch now allows gaming AND art, I've moved my streams to my twitch and stream almost every night after I get off work at 2am central time. I have off on the weekends, mainly Sunday, but at the end of this month, on October 28th, I will be doing a huge freebie stream as thank you to my followers on FA and Twitch. If you would like to earn a free art, be it your sona, Pokemon/sona, or some SFW request, I will be spending a majority of Sunday making art to all of you, playing music, and talking over the mic. I'll also have donations available to anyone that would like to support me.

I got a computer recently so I have been moving stuff from my old laptop to my computer. I can actually play games, watch videos, and multitask programs on my computer, it feels so good.

I have one commission to work on and some personal projects that I have been noting down here and there during my brief moments of inspiration while working.

As for work, it's full time and I'll only be active on weekends, I cannot promise that I can respond during the week.
