Posted 13 years agowell i'm chilling in a travel lodge, had an awesome breakfast and now chilling wirh a pint of coke! Morning training for the kiddo's went well and we've only the one competiton today! Going for a wander across the strange wilderness hundreds of miles from home, but at least there's wifi! Nervous kids are hilarious, but they'll be fine, wish them luck for the novice skills national final! From their coach, failure.

Posted 15 years agoCommunity Service
Posted 15 years agoRight, second last day of Community service. So obviously i'm here on Fur-affinity, fagging up the community center computers.
It's been an interesting few weeks.
Having been sent down to London on a contractually based employment scheme, i've proceeded to get fucked over time and time again by the government, employer, and the people I was working with.
No hard feelings fellas.
I don't really know what the future's going to hold. Currently i'm in a relationship with a wonderfully charismatic and... well, fucking HILARIOUS chick.
Who doesn't have FA. Despite the fact she draws pretty dern well.
I'm going to meet said chick in a week, and probably come back enormously dehydrated.
London:
Basically what happened there was I was selling gym memberships, as part of a promotional company, hired out by the gym "Energie Fitness" Which is a franchise. The area I was at, was Wembley.
Wembley itself isn't terrible. The people usually are as polite and normal as the rest of the country. (Which by global standards is fucking hilarious too.)
The problems arose from a bit of a culture gap between my Northern Self, and the fact that 90% of the population of my target area, didn't speak English.
That affected things.
BADLY.
That said though, contract terminated, got fucked out of about £500 so i'm a little shanked at that. At the end of the day however, it's experience. (Despite it being a self employed contract, which was just a fiddle.)
What does the future hold? Giving the fact that my sporadic drawings have gotten more so within the past few month, and of lower quality, i'm probably just going to give it up all together. I can't be bothered really!
Carreer wise however, i'm looking around for employment, along with 3.6 million other people in the country. The majority of which, infinitley more qualified, experienced and aged than me.
Wet 'n' Wild here I come,
Again.
That said i'm going to finish this little rant, which i'll admit, has basically just been to waste as much time, as I hear the 'young' men and women downstairs playing Bingo, and getting their dinner brought to them on plates that would'nt last a puddle.
I can't wait to see Mandy, it'll be fucking lol.
See you's fags later. Have a good'n. And happy new year!

More updates. Srs.
Posted 16 years agoRight! Having discovered that my PSU was infact the reason for all things broken, I proceeded to buy my butt a new one. So i'm sat on a Megawatt.
About 2 days later my Boot drive fails. So i've got me a Terrabyte now.
Slowly but surely, my whole machine will be upgraded.
One cock up at a time.

Posted 16 years agoYou're having a laugh. Siblings in law are one of the most enraging part of the universe.
We got a bill for £300 for energy. Fair enough, that's excessive. So what does a brother in law do?
"I turned your computer off at the mains."
"Was it on?"
"Yeah why?"
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF PSU is fried and i'll be lucky to revive the Hard Drive.
Seriously.

Diving soz
Posted 17 years agoRight, well, I was in Scotland over the weekend, and I was diving in the Nationals for the UK.
In the end of it, I came out 21st out of 28. Which isn't too good, but considering I was going against 2 Olympians and 2 Commonwealth Gold medalists, I'm pretty sure I didn't do too badly.
It was fun as fuck, got to meet Kage and Turbo, both of whom are awesome, and wiggles a bit since then.
Then the day after I got back I managed a 107c off the 1 meter board.
That's a forwards triple somersault. So i'm quite pleased. Toodles laddos.

Photosynthesis Cont.
Posted 17 years agoWhere does photosynthesis occour?
Photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplats. The light dependend reactions occour in the thylakoids of the chloroplats. The phospholipids membranes in these layered structres contain different pigments that absorb light energy. Chlorophyll and carotenoid molecules are arranged in groups, centred on chlorophyll a molecules. The light independent reactions of photosynthesis occur in the solution in the Stroma. Both sets of reactions in the cell by the outer chloroplast membranes. The products of photosynthesis are rapidly removed from the chloroplast. Carbon dioxide readily diffuses through the outer membranes of the chloroplasts into the stroma. Carbohydrate can be transported out through the membrane. Starch grains form temporary sites for storing excess carbohydrates produced during the day. During the night, carbohydrate may be released from the starch grains and translocated to other parrts of the plant.
Light dependent reactions.
The light dependent reactions of photosynthesis provide the energy and electrons needed for the later, light independent reactions. What we call chlorophyll is in fact several different compounds. These include chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and carotenoids. Energy captured by all of these pigments is transferred to groups of chlorophyll a molecules. Chlorophyll a is one of a special group of compaounds that can absorb light energy and use it to boost the energy level of electrons from the hydrogen atoms in water. Electrons can be compared to satellites orbiting earth. To move a satellite into a higher orbit requires energy, for example from firing a booster rocket. Similarly, energy is required to boost an electron into a higher orbit around the nucleus of an atom, from where it can be passed on to anotehr atom more easily.
Chlorophyll a absorbs light energy and the exited electrons that it then contains are used to powere several very important redox reactions,
PHOTOLYSIS, PHOTOPHOSPHORYLATION and NADP production.
Photolysis
Energy from exited electrons in chlorophyll a molelcules is use to split water molecules into protons and electrons and oxygen.
2H2O - Protons (4H+) + electrons (4e-) + oxygen (O2)
this reaction is known as photolysis
The oxygen is released to the atmosphere. This reaction is the source of almost all the oxygen that makes up 20% of the atmosphere, which covers the Earth with a gas blanket ten miles deep. That's a lot of oxygen. Millions of tonnes of oxygen are present in the atmosphere only because of the work of photosyntehic organisms over millions of years. Without it there would be no animal life on earth.
Photophosphorylation
Energy from exited electrons can also be used to produce ATP. Because the energy comes from light, this method of producing ATP is called photophosphorylation
ADP + Pi + Energy from excited electrons = ATP
Production of NADP
The electrons released from water molecules by photolysis are eventually used to reduce carbon dioxide to form glucose. However, electrons cannot react directly with carbon dioxide. The exited electrons in chlorophyll a molecules are transferred to a very useful compound called nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate. NADP.
With each electron that NADP takes up, it also accepts a proton, and so it does not become negativley charged. The transfer of electrons and protons to NADP requires energy that is obtained from exited electrons in other groups of chlorophyll a molecules.
Reduced NADP can donate electrons to reduce carbon dioxide directly, and for this reason is known as a reducing agent. The reduction of carbon dioxide occurs during the light independent reactions of photosynthesis.

Posted 17 years agoI've had an idea. Because I don't really do enough work for college, and i'm the first to admit it. Though i've been doing better this year, i'll admit too.
I'm going to type up my notes, onto here. So if you read, you could learn something, and if you know what i'm typing is wrong, then feel free to comment! But, i'm starting up with my A2 Biology. Which, might I add, is somewhat difficult to comprehend, but I enjoy it. So feel free to blargh at me.
Starters, we're with the Photosynthesis stage.
Okay. *Shuffles to get notes*
Basic principals of Photosynthesis + Respiration.
Photosynthesis =
6CO² + 6H² + [Energy] = C6 H12 O6 +6O²
Respiration =
C6 H12 O6 +6O² = 6CO² + 6H² + [Energy]
(The characters should be little and below the nuber, but i'm not that good with ASCII)
Oxidation reactions take away electrons or hydrogen atoms from molecules, Oxidising agents take away the lectrons. Most oxidation reactions are exothermic - energy is released.
Reduction reactions add electrons or hydrogen atoms to molecules. Molecules that supply electrons in a chemical reaction are called reducing agents. Most reduction reactions are endothermic - they require an input of energy.
ADP = Adenosine Diphosphate
ATP = Adensoine Triphosphate, The main source of Energy in the body. produced in cell mitochondria.
Photosyntehsis can be divided into two separate phases.
Light dependent reaction.
These caputre energy from light and produce a supply of electrons for the light independent reactions. energy captured from sunlight and captuered by the pigment molecules is used to split water, to create ATP and to produce NADP, a molecule necessary for the fixation of carbon that occurs in the light independent reactions.
The light independent reactions
Theses use the enrgy and electrons produced in the light dependent reactions to reduce carbon dioxide. They do not require light and so can take place in the light or the dark. Carbon dioxide is fixed from atmospheric carbon dioxide to form first a 3 carbon molevcule, and then a 6 carbon sugar. Glucose.

Posted 17 years agoWell, no, not really. But, there's something exceptionally dubious about printing off your own personal items of delicate information. Even if it is for a work means.
I don't know, I just feel like i'm a super hacker, stealing someone's identity, but then making the horrible realisation that it's my own.
I'm bored, okay! I'm doodling not as much, i'm working on some shiz for college, which is going okay, if uh... badly.
Hope you's had a freakishly fine halloween.

Posted 17 years agoA friend of a friend has been over from New York visiting, and i've been meeting him every night for the past 4 days. And this guy is fuckin' awesome.
Smurf_eater. Is by no means perfect. He's American, bless his cotton socks, but in all the time that i've known him. *Accumulativley 40 hours.* He's been nothing but bitchin'.
Which leads me onto the story that I actually came to write.
I have recently passed my drivers test, so I can legally drive now, awesome, right?
I go out, with the car, staying stone sober because of my past experiences with drink driving. *Bad move, don't do it.*
Now, they're getting fucked, off, their, tits. Unable to move, or walk pretty much, we're in a bar close to where I live that i've not been to before.
They can't remember where they are.
Then the strippers come. :3
My my, what a night.
Ciao!

Posted 17 years agoNo, i'm not about to start. But after a fairly lengthy discussion at a pub tonight. *Obviously the best place for it, with the beer bellied masses of England.*
I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't mind having that sort of physique. Though it's utterly uncompromised, and very unlikley that i'll get anything close to it. I'm not too sure that i'd be the one to not suit it. I like the idea of being able to lift and do things that others can't, but then again, I do that anyway. *With diving, Gymnastics and Diving being some of the sports I do recreationally*
The amount of work I would like to do is equal to the results.
I don't know. Would I suit being a bit less body fat?
UP TO YOU GO NOW THX.

English practise.
Posted 17 years agoWell, that worked. But, this is going to be basically a little bit of an upkeep. I'm wanting to study English next year, so I may as well give myself a little bit of practise. Don't worry if you don't get what i'm blathering at. It may or may not make sense, and my sentence structure is usually utterly skew-wiff.
Pnoxyl Aquagel, Cymex Cream. (For cold sores.)
There's a few things that can just sit around my desk here, just farting about and precariously bobbling along that little byroad they see as "life." Well, life in an inanimate sense at least. How depressing.
Anyway, this is a loltastic lextraviganza. Giving way to something even more astronomical, more magical, and even more prolific. Though there may be casualities in the pharmacuitical world, we can keep going.
Hoping for a cleaner, safer tomorrow.
Damn, I need to get out more.
Oh well! Time to fap.

Midi and such.
Posted 17 years agoOkay, so i've finally been able to plug in my piano to the computer, drivers and everything is all installed, now the only problem is, I'm not sure if there's a way to get the midi instruments off of my piano, into another program, use that to record the actual midi, instead of usinga microphone and dickballs quality.
I really want to get this sussed, so I can start playing properly again. ;b;

Sort of getting around it
Posted 17 years agoRight, laddos. I've managed to delay this whole "OMG NEVAR ALLOWED BACK ON." Thing, mainly by just leaving the computer on. Which I do anyway. "Durr hurr"
But, little bit of an update as to what's going to happen.
For starters, I've got my dads 50th birthday on Monday, that'll be interesting. Then on the same day i'm going to trampolining, and getting a final assesment for my course.
Erk.
Then, it's back to the grind of revision and levelling. *Levelling refers to getting from a D to a C. to a B. to an A. *Heaven forbid of course**
But, as far as art is concerned. I'm going to upload one or two things. One i'm proud of, as you'll see.
Either way, just a tadge of a heads up.

Posted 17 years agoGet it, and play on the multiplayer.
It only takes six years to finish a game.
Also, convoys. Tanks, and fucking alien cocks sticking out of your armoured vehicle.
What's not to love?
