Hey there, fellow hooters! Sorry I haven't updated this group in a while--I've been a busy (and forgetful, eep!) owl lately.

Before I get into anything else, let me thank you all of the watches! It's great to have more owls and owl lovers aboard.

I've been thinking for a while now that this group could use our own mascot. The O Rly Owl is a classic, but I'd like us to have our own little critter representing us. What do you guys think? Should we, or should we stick to being mascot-less? If we do decide to create a Hooters mascot, what species (or mix of species) should it be? And what about the name? Any suggestions are very much appreciated! :D

Would any of you guys be interested in having little owl meet ups at furry conventions?

Hey folks, it's about high time for me to get off my rump and write up something for this group!

First of all, to those who've joined this group, thank you so much! If you have any fellow owl friends who haven't joined us yet, we'd really appreciate it if you nudged 'em in our direction.

Second, we'd like to get some art up on this page as well as add more to our favorites. If you have any (tame) owl-related art you want featured here, please let us know via note or comment. Any art you want to submit must be your own work, we will not post commission, request, or trade pieces (we will favorite them, just not post 'em). If a piece of yours you'd like posted here is already in our favorites, we'll still post it once you give us permission to do so.

Third, let us know of artists we should be watching! Preferably artists who primarily draw owl-related art.

Fourth and finally, a little question for you guys. What's your favorite species of owl? Is it the same as your fursona?
