Recently, YouTube made a settlement of $170 million dollars to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for the alleged violation to the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). And because of this, YouTube had came up with major changes that will hurt most, if not all, creators of family-friendly, gaming, art, and other content. And this change will affect both creators and viewers who watch YouTube daily.

Hey guys! Hope T. Lioness here to give you an update on what's going on with me.

So, back in March, I was hired to a finance company as a Customer Service Rep. I did 6 weeks of training and then went to work. Unfortunately, I did not stay because I was not happy with the job. So, I have decided to really focus on going back to school to get my Bachelor's degree in Character Design and Animation. I'm doing everything I can to get re-accepted to the university to attend the Fall semester and work on my Hold's/To-Do list. Fortunately, I only have two Hold's to do and to look into student housing. So, please wish me luck on that. Because it is really hard to find a place to attend school.

Anyway, as I'm playing the waiting game, I will continue to work on personal projects for myself. I'm going to try to focus on making visual reference sheets for my characters for the time being.

Today, the FCC just pass on the vote to make a repeal on Net Neutrality. What IS the Net Neutrality and what does it have to do with you? Net neutrality is the principle that Internet providers like Comcast & Verizon should not control what we see and do online. In 2015, startups, Internet freedom groups, and 3.7 million commenters won strong net neutrality rules from the US Federal Communication Commission (FCC). The rules prohibit Internet providers from blocking, throttling, and paid prioritization—"fast lanes" for sites that pay, and slow lanes for everyone else. But the chairman of the FCC, Ajit Pai, wants to repeal and change the rules for internet providers to do whatever they want with the internet and have consumers pay extra money for "packages" like they do for cable. We need to stop this at all cost!!!

I beg of you to go here https://www.battleforthenet.com/ and join the fight! We need Congress on our side to overrule it and make a law that will prevent something like this will never happen again! Do not be lazy and let this happen! Write and call Congress about this issue and share this with everyone! We need to educate more people on this matter so we can fight it!

First of all, how are you guys doing? I'm okay myself.

I know that its been two months since I posted things here last time, and haven't done anything else since. I haven't been here in like a year or so, and I keep poppin' up on rare occasions. Well the answer is simple: The reason I haven't been here for so long is because I have nothing here for me. I mean, when I first started out on here I was so excited about being here and being in the fur fandom. Now, it seems...not exciting anymore. I guess it is due to the fact that I am not attending fur-cons anymore nor own a suit. I guess its a part of me growing up and doing other things in life. Hey everyone! HopeTLioness is here and back in the fur fandom!

I would like to apologize for my long...Hiatus? I've been so busy with school and work that I haven't gotten the time or inspiration to do artwork anymore. I have also been through some life changes and difficulties that brought me down for the past three years or so. However, I am close to finishing college with my A.A. so I can transfer into a university for my B.A.! I've been getting my inspiration back, so I will be drawing more. So expect some submissions and revamps on my page.
