The depiction of bat may be a bit fluid inbetween artists' interpretations, but that's still same character, I promise! I mean, I was still kinda developing my mental vision of how a proper Hori should look like in that time, so over time the older describtions I made became a bit outdated, and I didn't really feel the need to inform everyone about recent change in ear-to-head ratio or a different shirt... Minor stuff like that, yanno.

Okay, you know what? Whatever. I wrote a story, and this story is about bat getting gobbled up by a fatass half-cat, half-slime.

I'm gonna submit it in a few minutes, and this is the first warning I give you, dear watchers and whoever the heck might be secretly stalking me:

Ignore that one weird story. Especially if you don't like reading about bats getting devoured. And actually, come to think about it, ignore that one weird story especially if you don't like reading, too.

Okay, look. I don't want to throw accusations without undeniable proof at hand, but I THINK THE WEATHER IS TRYING TO MURDER ME.

It's so darn hot. It's so darn sunny. The air pressure is so darn low.

Bats are sensitive to that kinda stuff, you know? I'm literally having trouble standing for longer than a minute! I think I might have been dangerously close to fainting today morning, too!

Well, to put it simple.... May does that to people. Especially students, since that's when all the exams accumulate.

So yeah, I have about 4 projects and 3 exams to take care of in those next three weeks. And it's about as much fun as you may think it is. Plus recently I regained my artsiness and started trying to write some little story again, while also trying to doodle things. And also not too long ago Thief was on sale on Steam and after a couple of hours I can safely say that I'm enjoying it far more than I expected I would.

All those things need time to take care of. And that is something I seem to not have too much of. For that reason, I had decided to slow down a bit - I will still pop up from time to time, just not everyday like I've been up til now.

I know some people might be confused about that. Don't worry, I haven't lost my mind yet! But to be honest, there was a sudden spike in activity ever since the month started, and I often was approached by 3 or 4 guys at the same time, and talking with everyone at the same time was starting to become a bit of a challenge - imagine finishing one message, only to find out that there are 2 other messages to respond to, and in time it takes to react, another 4 messages pop out and demand attention....

So yeah. Just saying that so nobody starts an investigation or something

(note: I'll still respond to other means of communication so notes, pms, pigeons with letters and smoke trails are still options!)

New Year is so, _so_ much better than xmas. You can celebrate however the heck you want, you can drink however much you want, you have a solid time and date to start and end celebrating, plus the objective is just to have fun so it's okay if you don't have any gifts prepared.

So.

It's 0:20, 23rd of November, 2016.

Which technically means that... That 'the time' is approaching.

It's gonna be my birthday tomorrow, and I almost didn't notice. I wanted to get at least one commission before that happened, but... I guess I forgot, and when I realised I did, it was too late for me to get a nice ref and send it to... Practically any artist that makes things, really.

Have I learned anything this year? Probably not much. Blankets are awesome. Always note down your passwords. Old games have amazing soundtracks. Playing games you couldn't have played as a kid due to not having a proper console on emulators is exciting. It's important to mess up a dish or two once in a while. The best way to deal with sleeplessness is to find a friendly guy who lives in the timezone that corresponds with your biological clock. I will never be able to draw a perfect bat head.

So, what's the big deal? I'm now just a bit bigger blob than before. Nothing exciting. In the grand scheme of things, it really is not worth even mentioning at all.

But I still can't help but feel oddly satisfied. I made it! I could have died in like a million bazzilion different ways.

And yet, I didn't die. I'm still breathing.

I'm kiiiinda sorta sure I'll be fine this following year. But if I'm not, that is fine. It's not like I'd be the first person _ever_ to blow up before the expiration date finally kicks me.

Well. I'm sleepy now, so I should probably finish writing this journal. I mean, come the heck on, it's not like a lot of people will read that in time anyway x3

In short, yay!

So, a month ago, my pc got kinda sorta broken, and it had to be taken away for some home-brand repairs.

Don't get me wrong, it's working okay now! Except ... Not here ._.' Kinda hard to take it back when the only mean of transport available is a train! It'd break again in no time, so It'll have to wait until my dad has enough free time to spend 5 hours on driving.

Whiiiich probably isn't gonna happen anytime soon.

...geez, my Dustforce skills are going to get _really_ bad soon...

Oh, and also. Studies started! My subjects are more relaxed this semester, through, and half of my subjects demand a project instead of an exam, sooo here's that!

Oh, and also and also. Because the studies have started, I have less time to work. And because of that, my boss said that she doesn't really want to keep on her team people who will be able to work two days per week. Sooooooo.... I'm now working on other part of the shop! Now instead of shuffling bananas, I'll be shuffling cheeses and milk bottles!

So, long story short:
-had a statistics exam
-realised I forgot my pendrive like 10 minutes before it started
-had to sprint back and forth between my home and uni
-wrote the exam, all excited cos the questions were pretty easy
-handed the paper to my prof, he looks at it, looks at me, nods, I nod, he shakes his head, grades me 21/50. 25 passes.
-I stomp back home all angry
-as I climb on the third floor I realuse I forgot my pendrive AGAIN
-catch the prof in the last possible second, retrieve pendrive
-decide to catch a bus, because walking sucks at this point
-no ticket, because it's a 10 minutes long drive
-GUESS WHO POPS UP!
-I got a ticket for riding a bus without ticket
-crawled back home, decided to read some One Piece
-have fun for the first time today
-read THE LAST. POSTED. CHAPTER. And run out of chapters to read.
-get mad
-turn on the pc
-"yo, this shit broke as fuck, wait 2 hours for our problem solver thing to fix your pc"

FINAL UPDATE I'LL BE HOME TOMORROW YAY! ALSO I FINALLY MANAGED TO BREAK MY HORRIBLE HABIT OF WRITING TOMMOROW INSTEAD OF TOMORROW!

We have decided to go on one last trip, this time to some observation point instead of anywhere concrete. I tagged along for 9/10ths of the journey... which I personally think is almost like going all the way up! True, I didn't get to see some amazing stuff, but on the other hand, I could go back at my own pace, which in turn allowed me to see some beautiful views I had missed on the way due to gluing my eyes to the path so that I could keep up with my friends without tripping! That sentence was long and hard to read, and I apologize for making it like that ;P

Lessons I have learned during this trip:
-two days old speedos are perfectly reasonable alternative to two days with no speedos
-always remember to take the receipt when you do shopping for the group so your friends can throw money at you
-if you think you'll need two pairs of pants, take three. Just in case you fuck shit up and one of them gets dirty before you plan to change them to something other
-waking up before everyone else wakes up is lame
-opening a bottle of beer with a bottle of water is hard, useful, helpful and actually quite fun
-plastic bags are extremely useful, especially when you need to beat up cutlets with no hammer. (the only sturdy and swingable thing I had was my statistics notebook... Hehee~)
-I am way craftier than I thought I am (or perhaps it's just my friends who are too thinking-inside-the-boxish?... Eh, whatevs)
-towels make fucking AWESOME blankets

My activities yesterday:

-woke up at 6:25 am (that is normal, in my case. I've always been an early bird... '~early to rise and early to bed makes a man happy, but socially dead~')
-left the bed at 8:35 am (I spent the time fumbling around with the bedsheets. Didn't feel much like waking up tbh)
-watched Zootopia. My friends were busy with a bike tour at the time. I didn't tag along because 1) legs 2) fat 3) I don't remember the last time I biked
-ate pizza. It was a bit too much... X,,X
-drank beer. But nothing spectacular, mind you - just some radler
-watched today's Euro match (Portugal and Wallie (or whatever that was. I'm not too much into football, eheh~...))

Yesterday was a good day.

One more such day and it'll be time to head home... I know that maybe I could've used this trip for more sportish activities than loafing around, but come on. My legs stopped bitching about the mountain climbing today at 7 pm. There is really no way I could do anything reasonably sportish before that time xP.

Okay, so:

I woke up at 8:35 and that was the most productive thing I had done since then. My legs hurt like a bitch. It's painful to move my legs at all, so I'm trying not to spend too much time away from my bed.

Tomorrow we might end up going to the lake again, if the weather is nice. I'm starting to think that maaaaybe mountain trips aren't really for me after all n_n'

I'm very happy that I brought my headphones along. They make watching Zootopia way more fun! (it's 3:33 pm and so far I have watched the entire thing three times. Teehee~!)

It's a slow day, y'know. But what did you expect from someone whose feet were brutally murdered yesterday?

I wanna die.

Yep, those were the first three words I said after I came back home from the trip to Mt Smerek. I've never climbed a mountain before, so I assumed my friends would go the easy way. However, nope! They fucking chose a red-tier path for the way up (14 km long, at that >:u) and the BLACK-TIER path for the descent (I tripped and fell in a weird butt-up heap in the mud. And got a few bruises >:U) (oh yeah and there was mud because it rained yesterday)! Granted, the view was breathtaking and I took like a million bazillion photos, EACH of which I am proud of, but HOLY FUCK! MY LEGS ARE WEEPING AND I WEEP ALONG WITH THEM ;A; It really doesn't help that my feet still were sore after the beach two days ago. Also, on the way up my great friends decided that we should _totally_ climb a path that plainly said it takes two and a half hours in mere one and a half. As a result, I was alone for a pretty long part of the ascent (and I'm pretty sure there are now at least two thousand photos of me lying on my butt and being miserable. Fuck the optic zoom >:C)

I might end up posting some of the photos here on fa, but I'm kinda sorta not sure if that would be okay with the rules, considering, well, lack of furriness (unless I could commission someone to photoshop a bigass Rayquaza coiled around the mountaintops somewhere in there.... hm. That would probably look neat, actually :o Definitely on my to-do list)

My plans for tomorrow: fucking lie in fucking bed all fucking day my feet fuckibg hurt oh my fucking god ;_;

Okay, so: Mountainupdate!

I forgot to pack anything for sunburns, so my back is now red and itchy! I also forgot to pack a soap and shampoo, so I had to buy them from a shop nearby, which was horribly expensive! Also, none of my friends can cook, and as such I was assigned to be their cooker batty, as well as their dishwasher batty ("what, you made all this mess to begin with!"), which I don't mind yet, but can see being annoying in the near future! The wifi sucks, and my mobile internet somehow decided that I don't deserve the internet either, so the best I can do is occasionally pop up on IRC for a moment before I get disconnected again, making any and all attempts at communication end with me being more confused than satisfied! The latest trip to the lake (yes, this part of the mountains has a neat lake you can swim in! The beach is all rocky, tho. And I forgot to grab flip-flops. My feet hurt) ended with me having to walk 6 km in wet shorts, which in turn gave me a couple of pretty painful bruises between my legs, where the shorts brushed against my thighs!

But!

The view is amazing, the air smells wonderful and energising, I feel refreshed from not sitting on my pc all day long, I get to steal my friends' food (!!! <3), my bed is soft and comfy and I get a healthy dose of exercising! Tomorrow we plan to climb on top of a mountain, which might prove to be a bit of a challenge for me personally, but I hope I'll somehow manage to not die too much on the way up ;D

Ooookay, I finally am back from the nearly month-long absence!

Aaanyway. Maybe it was a good thing that I couldn't access my account for a while. I've gone through my finals, and with no account to spend free time on, I had to spend it somewhere else - on books!

But not fun books. Just... studying books.

So yeah, I have been writing my finals pretty well, thanks to the extra learning time - I've passed everything so far! >:D (eeeeexcept for the statistics. god i hate statistics) (but not because I didn't study! The prof that was supposed to have our exam just didn't come. ... ... yeah, some people need to get their priorities checked :T) All I have left now is macroeconomy and english, and none of those worries me much, since I understand macro pretty well, and english is... well, pretty much instinctive thing, after having spent so much time on the english part of the internet, which is like about 99% of it!

LESSONS I HAVE LEARNED FROM THIS EXPERIENCE:
1- Zootopia is great
2- Turns out the word 'furaffinity' has only one letter 'r'. That one is extremely important while writing e-mails. Eheh~...
3- If you're making a fake e-mail account to use it as a base for another account, MAKE SURE you at least have the recovery question set to something you can comprehend. Good gods I am so angry at my past self for not doing that
4- Complaining to friends helps. A LOT.


Is that all I wanted to... Oh right, one more bomb for anybody who made it this far: I'm going on a week-long trip on the first week of July, yay! Gonna scale mountains, feed bears, probably break my neck a couple of times and end up with a frostburn! FUN <3!

Because I actually just found that out yesterday, and it was quite a shock for me :O

I haven't thought about the exact design yet, but maybe something happy and cheerful would be nice - like, sun from Teletubbies or a cookie or something like that... I want it to be seen on a first glance, too, so I'll probably put it somewhere visible - either on my forehead or on my right cheek, as those two areas are the first parts others will look at when they pass me on the street! Who knows, maybe with something like that I'll be able to catch myself a nice girlfriend~...

I DID IT!! Good lords, finally! After literal eons of studying (welll.... tbh maybe less than three hours in total? 'n,,n) I managed to (...barely) PASS MY FAKIN MATH TEEEEEESTS MEEDLYMEEDLYMEOEOEEEEOOOOOW!!!!

Goodness gracious, I feel like a newborn man! Math is horrible.

Oh and also my progress on that tf story I promised to post by the end of February: I finally got to the part in which the main character is starting to change, which means that it's about... 1/3 done? 1/2? I don't know the exact length it'll have in the end, so, uhh, bear with my extremely rough and unhelpful estimations, I guess? 'n,,n

Okay, so. I just finished my math exam. And you know what?

I either am smarter than I give myself credit for, or am totally doomed to fail math. Everything went too smoothly to be real, I managed to write a semi-coherent answer to every single equation, all weird numbers somehow managed to disappear halfway through the example and I am now hyped as heck because OH MY GOD IT'S FINALLY OVERRRRRR!!!!

So yeah, I guess soon we'll see whether I am a smartass or just an ass! I'M OKAY WITH EITHER TBH BECAUSE OH MY GOD IT'S FINALLY OVEEEEEEEERRRRRRR!!!!!!

... except I forgot that January is the month in which all my exams are taking place :T At least most of them is going pretty good, with the *snort* pretty obvious exception of mathematics... But yeah, maybe not everyone necessarily needs to have a degree nowadays :'I

So yeah, nothing much I can say about my story's progress, really. It's hard to talk about progress when there was little to no progress, after all x_x I mean, I wrote a few lines here and there, fixed some grammar mistakes wherever I could find them, replaced some words with some other words, scrapped a few paragraphs for various reasons, made some pop-culture references, got rid of some pop-culture references as they were breaking the flow of the story and so on and so forth... Still, I am about thirty percent done with intended plot, and I already have a little bit over 2.5 pages of solid text! Adventure, ahoy! nwn

So yeah. If you ever wondered what I'm going to be doing on 14th, now you know. Writing odd stuff on my phone while sipping hot chocolate, covered head-to-toes in warm blankets. For no reason, actually, because air temperature right now is FRIKKIN 10 CELSIUS ABOVE ZERO. In the middle of the frikkin winter! Scandalous!!! >:T
