Posted 10 years ago'Llo there FR Community, my time on this site has come to an end, but rather than just packing up and leaving, I'm looking to trade my dragons/items for art of my characters.
The only dragons in my lair that are off-limits are the first page. The rest of them are up for grabs. Includes a 1st gen Nocturne in there somewhere.

If you see any apparel/Skins on my dragons that catch your eye, you're free to ask about them as well.
If you are interested, please send me a message with who/what you're interested in and samples of your art, as well as what you're willing to draw.
I'm mostly looking for humanoid art.

Posted 12 years agoI apologize to all of my watchers and my commissioners. I realize I have no excuse for taking so very, very long to get things done, but I've been in a very bad place.
My boyfriend broke up with me, and, needless to say I have taken it very hard.
I have little to no inspiration to draw and have contemplated suicide a few times. My phone no longer works, and whenever I turn my PC on, I immediately immerse myself into World of Warcraft, my only escape right now.
If you, my commissioners, are impatient and would like a refund, I...might be able to do that. All of my money has been spent on getting gas for my car and paying for the internet bill, but I might be able to scrape something up. However, the commissions WILL be done once I feel better if you have patience.
Again, this is not an excuse, merely an explanation and I don't expect everyone to understand. Just know that I am sorry, but I feel like complete shit.

Mom's still not letting me bring him in the house, and me driving 17 miles every three days to go see him and my friend isn't working out. I'm thoroughly upset, and my mom's insisting I sell him. I won't do that because she'll just take the money.
We'll see. We'll see and hopefully I can convince her to let me bring him home for a while so I can bond with him so I won't have to give him up.
Between this and my boyfriend ignoring me, I'm stressed and really upset.

Posted 12 years agoThe boyfriend has been texting me less and less to the point where I'm lucky if he texts me once every other day.
But he's got time to RP with his friends and host movie streams for them and god knows what else.
But every time I suggest a date night stream for just me and him, I get shot down or told 'maybe later'
I can't bring this up with him otherwise I get told I'm being selfish and or clingy, and he gets irritated at me.
I don't want to lose him, but I'm starting to really not like the way he's treating me. I don't know if I'm being unreasonable in wanting to talk to my boyfriend every day and maybe having some 'couple time' every once in a while?
I just don't know what to do here.Shit another ramble

Posted 12 years agoWhile we were at dinner, we were discussing my lack of a job.
He went on to tell me about how I shouldn't be drawing stuff for people for free. I went ahead and mentioned that, lately, I've been taking commissions instead.
He asked me how much I charged, and when I said $5 for lineart, he stopped me. He somehow knows it takes me at least an hour-2 hours to do a linearted piece, and insists that I up my price to $8.
Apparently he thinks I'm good enough that people will pay that much for my art. I don't really have the heart to tell him that in the past 4 years of taking commissions, I have only now gotten very, very few and certainly not enough to make me think I can raise the prices. In fact, I'm only thinking of dropping them, I need the money that bad.
But, he still tells me to price according to how long it takes me on a piece. I...Can't do that. It'd be overpriced.
Yes, I work hard when I'm working on them, but a piece from me that takes 7 hours looks worse than a piece a more popular artist does in 2 hours.
And then I get sad, because, I'll never be able to get good enough to where people WANT my art.
