Would say I'll try to be more productive but, uhhhhh... Yeah.

I pleaded my case to paypal but I'm pretty sure I will not win since they probably don't understand anything about the adoptable business...
I wasn't sure at first, but someone commented on their page saying they scammed them as well as other makers.
I really don't understand how people can be so disrespectful to artists. I sell my little designs to try to help ends meet, and this person just goes around pretty much stealing the adopts from small creators.

Long story short, I got bad mental health issues towards the end of the year that prevented me from doing much. I've been gradually doing better and I'm pretty good right now, but not very inspired to make designs yet.
Also, I'd like to cleanup my stash a bit before adding new stuff, btw I have discounted a bunch of designs.

So, yeah... I'm not stopping adopt creation, just not making new ones currently !

Hey there, figured I'd give some news because why not.

You probably noticed I uploaded very few adopts this past couple of months. I got kinda burned out at some point and haven't been in the best place mentally speaking for a while as well, so some days I just spent staring at my numbers increase on Pokecliker >.>;

Got a couple family events with my partner's cousins so I wasn't home (everything was held outside btw because yanno, covid). My partner also had his vacation in July so we were outside home for a bit less than a week (little trip to the nearby region spending all day walking around sightseeing as we usually do).
We also got 3 heatwaves, during wich I wasn't doing much more than trying not to melt and being tired due to lack of sleep. Hopefully with September coming, we won't get another one this year.

Soooo, yeah. I'll try to resume a bit of productivity, especially considering I still have quite a few designs ready to color waiting for me, and I bought new bases too (again lol).

You know when people say buying books and reading books are totally different hobbies?
I think I have this problem with bases.

I need to stop buying bases until I use all I have. Most of them already have a design started but I can't bring myself to work on anything art-related lately. I haven't drawn in 2 months either...

Me : I need to stop getting new bases, I already have a bunch I haven't used yet.
Also me : Oh no, I need this new base it's so nice ;3;

Hello guys, posting a lot of journals lately !

Okay so, you might have noticed I made quite a few single, more refined designs lately.
I have already done that in the past (and semi-regularly up until now) and I really enjoyed it, but I also had gotten a lot of simpler bases that I wanted to use, because they were cute, but also not to lose the investment put on them.
But it lead me to making a lot of simpler designs for a while and, though I still like how they turned out, it's not where I want to go with my adopts anymore.
I feel I was getting stuck with batches because after a couple designs it often starts getting redundant and I tend to struggle to complete the remaining ones (you'd say I could have done smaller batches, but I have this obsession of using every single part available when doing those >.>).

So yeah. After the remaining batches-adopts sell, it is unlikely that this type will come back (or very occasionnaly) because I want to focus on the more refined designs previously mentioned.
It also means they will be more pricy (since they take more time per design) and that some of you guys might not be able to afford them anymore. It is something I'm genuinely sorry about, but I've been trying to focus on my growth as an artist and want to keep on with this path ;;
