--that I know what I want to do when I grow up, but I have reasons that are kind of... iffy?

What I Want to Do: Be a teacher of deaf children (either teaching sign language or teaching in sign language) in Europe. Specifically in an English-speaking country.

Why I Want to Do it: I'm not sure why, but I get this crazily excited feeling inside me whenever I sign with someone, especially a child. Kids are my favorite kind of people, and my current real-life best friend is a five year-old deaf girl named Rita. She's the most wonderful handful of a girl I have ever met, and she's the one who really got me into signing.

Still, the reason I'm so intent on signing in Europe is the accents. It's a horrible reason, and that's what makes me feel really guilty. And yet, for some reason when I envision myself teaching, it's not in the US. It's in England, or Ireland, or Scotland... I don't know if it's just the accents, though. I also adore all of the Europeans I've met (online and irl), and their customs, mannerisms and food are all incredibly interesting. But yeah, that's why I feel bad about wanting to teach in Europe.

AND, if anyone could elaborate on/direct me to a site about teaching in your European country of choice, I would be eternally grateful.

My two 'sonas are officially named Hoshi and Milena. Hoshi is a red panda, and Milena is a honey badger. They represent me, yo.
