I seem to have dropped many of my furry contacts as a result of Tat's and my issues.

So, this is just a basic interests journal for anyone that wants to get to know me. I'm not looking for a mate here, just people to hang out with that share interests. Lack of shared interests, or fading interests has killed off quite a few older friendships I've made, so making friends really isn't easy for me. It's also lead to lots of fairweather friends and I really don't like treating people like that. This is, ignoring them until whatever small sliver of shared interest we have comes up.

Anyway, onto the stuff:

I am most definitely a gamer, all PC all the time. I gave up on consoles a few years ago because I got tired of having them break all the time and me not being able to fix them despite being really, REALLY good with computers.

I play quite a few types of games. I'm currently really into that 3rd-person ninja shooter Warframe that's been floating around. If you like 3rd person shooters, it's a really good title if you don't mind the long grinds it has. I also like Killing Floor and Left 4 Dead. Racers are on my list as well, but it's hard to find a decent one on PC.

If anyone is willing to teach me how to host stuff, I'd be more than happy. During the summer, when I"m at home, I have fiber optic Internet. It's super fast and very reliable. My school's Net is slower, but even more steady. so I can host any time, any day.

I'm not too big on PvP games as I tend to be really competitive, but as good as I am at some, I can be coerced into them. I got really good at APB at one point and could pick it back up if you don't mind me knocking some rust off for a while.

I also play Magic The Gathering. I don't do MTGO, but Skype Magic works just as well, in my opinion. I really like the social aspect of it, which MTGO takes away.

I'm not a big anime person. I also don't watch much television. So don't expect me to really get TV/anime-based humor.

I'm a little bit hardheaded and settled in my beliefs. I can overlook or agree to disagree on most things but there are some things that I just can't deal with. One of those being belief-pushers. My grandmother growing up always shoved her religion in my face so I developed a real distaste for fanaticism early on. I'm not saying you can't be religious and be my friend, but just don't go pushing it on me. Same goes for anything else that's really one-sided.

I do find offensive humor funny, equal-opportunistically. I'll laugh at a gay joke as fast as I'll laugh at a fat joke as fast as I'll laugh at a race joke. If you don't, let me know and I won't make cracks about it around you.

I don't really have other any personality quirks that I absolutely can't quell if told they're bothersome. I just have to be told to hush if you don't like something I'm doing.

For those of you still here...

As a furry, I do enjoy yiff. I think it's a good thing for this community because it lets us relieve sexual tension that I know many of us have, and it doesn't hurt people the way real sex can. I've lost at least one real-life friendship because of sex and I've regretted it since.

That being said though, I don't want anyone adding me just for murry purry business. Have had a few people befriend me for that reason as well, and those friendships didn't last long at all.

FA needs to make some calls. To whom? The COPYRIGHT owners of these COPYRIGHTED characters. See what they have to say about whether or not their characters are cubs or not. And if they threaten to sue over their characters being used without permission, argue Fair Use. The only people that would lose there would be commission artists, who, frankly, need to stick to OCs anyway.

Is anyone else having this problem? 503 "Server having difficulty responding to all requests" errors coming up any time you open more than a couple of FA pages at once? I mean, this happens all the time right before and right after the major cons, but why is it happening now? Where's all this extra bandwidth they were bragging about?

Think about this people. There are sites, like Hardblush, where people who have a little extra spending bank can go for their furry porn. Furaffinity is free. Now, while I'm not saying that's ALL Furaffinity is about, that's the majority of why we're here. Why make the site that most people who have shitty systems have extra crap that NO-ONE needs?! Like these dropdown menus for everything. Sure, they save screen space for your T/A, C/B, or any combination of the two, they also are more strenuous on a system. In other news, I'm posting things! YAAAAAAAAAAY. Me (Liam, rl name I swear) and Tian (rl friend, again, i swear, who's "character"s name is derived from his real one, like Hrontore is of Liam) tried writing our little 'scenarios' out as collaboration stories instead of Role-Playing them and they turned out better than the first one I have up, so we're going to write them like that from now on. Tian tends to be better at descriptive writing of events once things 'get started' than me.

I'm also going to get our 'character' bios back up some time now that we've had time to work together on fleshing them out more. I wouldn't do 'em, but I find it easier to get into a story when you don't have to go through character description every time. They give you a place to start, you know? Unfortunately we've still got a bit to go on them so for now, you're gonna have to use you imagination on that one story I have up XP.

Stories maybe...sometime...maybe...^^;
