it's just that my bros and i are planning to do some work of parody in the shape of a japanese dating sim, and i am the volunteered artist for the project, so i'm gonna be doing a bunch of those for practice

i just got the news dropped on me that my older sister is 22 weeks pregnant and that her and her boyfriend decided today that they were keeping the baby

i have nothing to be proud about here, i find that my art has become static and soulless and commercial. i look at my old gallery, and get miffed at myself for not being able to draw like that anymore. i hate when i hit spots of my life where my art decreases in quality. improvement shouldn't be working backwards.

i'm not angsty or depressed or dramatic about this. just quite critical and a bit frustrated. i think i need to get back in touch with myself.

i got a phonecall from our distributor saying that canon hasn't been taking orders from small businesses anymore since the first of july

the only reason why we got to know about this is because i made an order and canon canada called our distributor to say they weren't going to do anything with it and that we had to open an account with them and deal with the distributor for our orders from now on

THE INFO

My computer died for good after 8 years of existence. I cannot access the internet thru any browser anymore,it crashes at an alarming frequency, and has an elongated list of other issues. Bascally, all i can use it for anymore is Skype and SAI, with difficulty. it won't even run photoshop anymore.

i am thus doing a commission drive to replace it.

HOW THIS WORKS

i will work on SAI from home, for as long as i can keep it working. if my computer is to stop working entirely, i will have to front the purchase of a new computer right away, and use the commissions to refund the gaping hole in my finances. but best case scenario, i would like to have every single commission of the drive done before i buy a new PC.

i will not spend any money until the commission is complete. this is for a computer, not in an urge to pay some bill or rent. i will not allow myself to spend anything until i have delivered a finished product.

considering that i cannot access internet from my drawing computer, your art will either be delivered to you thru Skype, or transfered on a Compact Flash drive and uploaded whenever i get access to a computer i can access FA with.

i will take and note down your order from my computer at work, in the evening near the end of my shift when i am about to close and all of my work is done. i will contact you thru note to confirm that your order has been written down.


TERMS OF SERVICE

- i reserve myself the right to refuse a commission if i judge it too hard for my abilities, or out of my comfort zone.

-i will not draw anything hardcore; extreme fetishes, blatant porn and excessive violence are a no-no.

-i am however very fine with erotica, tasteful nudity and comedic/stylistic violence.

my computer has pretty much turned into a huge cumbersome text version of a phone. as of this morning, none of my browsers work anymore. all i can run is skype. and i don't know how long even that will last, at this rate.
