Malamoot made a visit to the hospital today~ o:
Posted 14 years agoYupperz~ this malamoot went to the hospital today finally to get an assessment; let me start by explaining what happened: on Monday, I woke up and noticed my face was feeling.. heavy/ numb.. i thought I had just slept on it and it'd go away the next day. Well it didn't and I was starting to worry, so I decided to give a little call to the Health Link BC (811) had a quick chat with a Registered Nurse who said that it may be best to go check in to the emergency room because it might be signs of a stroke. At that point I started to freak out, with tears running down my face. I gave my mom a call at her friends house, told her what was going on, she said we'd go to the hospital the next day. Earlier this morning I had an interview with the Vancouver Crown Counsel (don't worry, I'm not introuble or anything) and after that headed straight to Mount Saint Joseph Hospital. I checked in to the emergency room, got changed, and had a bunch of tests done by a student doctor. In the end it was thankfully only Bell's Palsy, which is:
A form of facial paralysis resulting from a dysfunction of the cranial nerve VII (the facial nerve) that results in the inability to control facial muscles on the affected side.
I've been prescribed with this medicine called Prednisone, which I have to take for 9 more days (10 in total, since I took my first one today) hopefully it will go away within a week. Other than that, I will have a slightly crooked face for the rest of the week (my ride side is the one that is infected) and then I'll be able to smile fully again. :)
Another great and AWESOME thing that happened today, was I got a call from the New Image Fine Arts school informing me that I had been chosen for a partial scholarship, of $500. :) I will be going in today later to talk to one of their staff about that school and what they do there, since it is a new school and whatnot. I also will be working for Fright Nights again this year, so along with working at the PNE, I'll be doing my 4th year at Fright Nights this year. And then next year, I will be applying for a different department. Hopefully I make it into the fireworks and I can perform during that magnificent show. It's always an amazing thing to watch every year, and being able to perform in it will be all the more better. :)

Posted 14 years agoI might just be alone on this, but are crushes / love confusing? I'm not saying that once you're in love, it gets more confusing.. I mean the process before you seal up that connection with someone special. I honestly cannot say at the moment who I like or want to try dating, but how can I do so when my confidence level is so low that my shyness and sensitiveness makes it bad enough and just blows it out completely? My mind is one to go on crazy imaginations, most ending in me crying sometimes, though nothing with the whole water works, just a few tears and a few sniffles. Now I notice that yes, being single is really lonely, but for some reason, a very small part feels that being single is a good thing. Though I do get often envious/jealous when I see a couple hugging, or kissing, or cuddling with each other, even holding hands.. and at this rate, until someone can accept me and is willing to try dating me for who I am is going to be almost impossible, though that might just be me thinking that.. but I've never really been proven of that fact. Like I said before, about my imaginations, I tend to create scenarios in my head.. well I'm afraid to do anything about it because the one thing that will really suck is getting hurt when the outcome isn't quite what I want, and sadly we all can't get what we want. I'm not trying to sound like a slut or anything else along that word, but I will admit that I do like at least a few guys I know, though not a lot of them will be revealed because I'm sick of getting hurt, and I hate being who I am right now, and based on how these guys find their ideal mate / 'type' probably is nowhere near me by a long shot and might just make it worse in my case... I don't know if I'm just ranting about something as dumb as this or it's because of how tired I am or how much this is bottled up inside me, I honestly don't know what my feelings are right now or know where they're trying to go...

A malamute on the set of... a.. uh... little.. mermaid...?
Posted 14 years agoWhen you think little mermaid, you imagine sweet little Ariel and her friends Sebastian and Flounder, back in the 1930's... well that's not what I'm talking about... and right about now you're probably like, '....wtf? o-O'
Here's a little info on what I mean:
Today was the shooting of a short film that my friend was Assistant Director of, and I was a part of the cast. No, nothing major, just a background character, lol... since there was only two main characters in the whole thing, lol
The big main Director of the whole thing is Nicholas Humphries (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2288083/), an award-winning filmmaker from Vancouver, Canada.
Basically all together, each shoot they are doing is of the original Disney Princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, and the Little Mermaid) ... only, they're not so sweet.... according to one of the emails, and I quote, 'We're doing a series of short films that take the original princesses and twisting them into dark psycho princesses!' lol, I kid you not! XD
It was pretty fun overall, I guess the only awkward part was I didn't know anybody on set/backstage/make-up except for my friend... so it was really rather.. awkward for me... I was so shy, it wasn't even funny x3 while we were still in the make-up room, before they got all the background characters to move onto set, I was constantly fidgeting with either my hands or the scarf they had me wear, because I had no-one to talk too..! Gah, curse my damn shyness! ;>w<
Funny moments of the day: I was walking around a bit before we went onto set, and passed by the make-up table where they were getting the main character, the mermain, into full make-up, and just by accident, my ears caught into a conversation at the wrong time, and all I heard was, 'We got all these pedophiles and stuff... yeah, for the Cindarella shoot' as soon as I heard that, I immediately stopped, slowly turned around and continued to listen to the conversation for like 10 seconds, then shook my head, lol'd to myself and walked over to the couch.. X'D
Oh, also, my glasses broke twice ;'D not caused by me, but here's how:
The first time was when I was getting make-up done; the woman who was doing my make-up took off my glasses and was gonna put them down, and she wanted to fold them to close, but considering what happened to my glasses a while ago, she ended up snapping the left side where the glue was and I was like, ' o.o uhh.. X'D I was like, 'oohhh, LOL, no worries XD I can just glue them back... again... XD' and so I used the nail glue again and voila, all good again. ;'D
All in all this was a fun day. I can't wait for more opportunities like this to come up, I will grab them up like no tomorrow! I'm also still in the process of looking to apply for an agent who can help me with finding jobs like this, so that will take a while, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get there. I'm slowly on my way to stardom. =)
Here's a little info on what I mean:
Today was the shooting of a short film that my friend was Assistant Director of, and I was a part of the cast. No, nothing major, just a background character, lol... since there was only two main characters in the whole thing, lol
The big main Director of the whole thing is Nicholas Humphries (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2288083/), an award-winning filmmaker from Vancouver, Canada.
Basically all together, each shoot they are doing is of the original Disney Princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, and the Little Mermaid) ... only, they're not so sweet.... according to one of the emails, and I quote, 'We're doing a series of short films that take the original princesses and twisting them into dark psycho princesses!' lol, I kid you not! XD
It was pretty fun overall, I guess the only awkward part was I didn't know anybody on set/backstage/make-up except for my friend... so it was really rather.. awkward for me... Howloween 2010 Report & Updates!
Posted 15 years agoOMG this year was SO MUCH FUN! Despite what happened on my way there (long story) I still had a great time! It was great to see so many familiar faces, and lots of new ones! As well as see some of the familiar faces from the states and meet new ones! Next year I've officially planned to wear a costume to the event. However, you the readers won't know until at least 2 or 3 week before the con! Hehe that's right, I'm evil like that! Of course following the festivities on Saturday came bowling on Sunday, and again what a success! The new location this year was interesting and fun! The amount of people that came to bowling really surprised me! The Xcalibur was surprisingly cheap, and the bowling alley was covered with colorful lights!

OH!! I finally got a chance to watch ' Rocky Horror Picture Show ' (I never saw it before until yesterday)(yeah I know, I fail) and it was awesome! Now I can't get the songs out of my head. Gah! I want to dress up as Columbia for a party though sometime! Of course, it'll have to be a kinky fetish party, that way I'll look good for the occasion! Haha! Not only have I seen that, but the cover done by the show ' Glee ' was amazing. While keeping a lot of the risqué material out of the show, they still managed to do good remakes of the songs in their own modern way! .. Yes, I'm a Gleek! I'm also a Whovian! Yeah!

How have you guys been lately..?? Oh, me..??
... Too depressed to even care about what's going on around me...
Why you ask..? Well, quite a few of you already know why I'm so down in the dumps, but here's to those who don't:
Recently I was in a relationship with the best mate there could ever be. Before we started dating, he was one of my closest and best friends ever. I had a crush on him ever since the first day I met him 2 years ago. Finding out that he also liked me made me the happiest I could ever be. Oh, but there was a twist to the story: he was gay. And I know what you're thinking, how could that even be possible that a gay guy would ever think of going out with a girl; he's got to be bi. Well, he's not bi.. at least I don't think.. and well, you can probably figure out where this is going: recently he decided to break up with me, and that night was the hardest night of my life. I was on the bus on my way home, I couldn't breathe, I was crying too much, and I didn't know whether I wanted to actually go home or go cry in a ditch somewhere and hope I died the next day. It's only been four days since he broke up with me, and I can honestly say that it feels like it's much longer than that. Each day is hard for me, and they just keep getting harder and harder. I would always cry every now and then when I think of him. Seeing him on MSN not talking to me would always hurt me, like it felt like he was trying to avoid me or something. When we were going out, we talked practically everyday, whether it be MSN, or text, or even just a small simple phone call. I miss going to his house and hanging out with him, and even spending the night sometimes. It was so much fun getting out of the house every now and then staying at his house for the night. There's a lot that I miss about him: the kisses, the warm hugs, playing around with each other, laying next to him and waking up to him in the morning, holding his hand, and just plain seeing him smile. Being with him felt like the hours went by slower, and my days weren't as boring as they were and are right now. I got him a special dogtag to put on his collar, and luckily he promised he'd keep it because it's special to him. He got me a really cute plushy that resembles my fursona, and I still keep it snug between my arms at night when I sleep. I also still have the sweater that he let me keep; I won't be washing it ever because it smells like him. Yeah, I know, sounds creepy, but it makes me think of him. Anothher thing he got me was this really big dog plushy that had a rose in it's mouth, but that is currently at his house. Not sure whether I'm going to let him keep it at his house still mine or bring it home sometime when he invites me over to visit. I miss doing stuff with him, he always put a smile in my face; now all I have is a big frown, constant tears, major mood swings, slight attitude, staying up late and having trouble sleeping, as well as loss of appetite, and feeling sick to my stomach half the time. I know one things for sure: I will always and forever love him and keep him in my heart. He means the world to me and I won't let him go. If I could change things that happened, I would go back into the past and do so.

Posted 15 years agoToday was Michael J's dance party ~In Like A Lion~ and I was planning on going this whole time. Well, my shitty luck, I couldn't find my passport anywhere this morning at home - I searched literally everywhere more than 3 times, I made a big mess of the place, I was kicking stuff because I got really pissed, and then eventually broke out into tears. Not only am I upset that I couldn't go, if this continues and I can't find my password, I won't be able to go down to the states for BellFurs (Unless I can convince my mom to pay $150 for a new passport with a rush fee so that I get it in time for this month's BellFurs. But other than that, today since I couldn't go to the party, I ended up just going over to Metrotown to hang out with my friends Star Wonder, Panda, Arlene, and Badinage~! We went and sat infront of CHQ (Arcade in Metrotown) and then we went to go watch Alice In Wonderland, which was TOTALLY AWESOME!!~ Go see it, it's worth your money (Well, it was for me) XD And then last but not least, we headed over to Central Park (And yes, there is another Central Park, it's just in Canada, not New York) and Walked around, jumped on the playground a bit, and then went our seperate ways. *Blaarghh* What a stressful morning ; D; But to all my friends who made it out to Michael J's dance party: Azlan, Marfles, Sairys, Red, Wishful - I hope you guys had loads of fun and partied hard for me =3Free Art - Please Read!

Your job in helping me is to vote for your favorite style of hair from the following images below.
