Happy holidays .
so why haven't i been posting ?
Excluding the disappointment over the last project , i have been much more active on Sofurry.
It may be smaller but with the slower pace , atleast my work get's seen.
Over the last 2 months i have been experimenting with CGi and animation and things are starting to come together .
As you can see from my latest picture posted , Character Models are starting to shape up and my video and sound editing is improving .
I still have buckets to do like sets , costumes and props but maybe in an other month or so i may have more to show than just animation test and silly stuff.

the project took an unexpected slowdown but am still advancing.
profiles sort of hit a bottleneck .
so far am doing artwork assembly like stile , working on several peaces at once , right now am in the process of cleaning up a dozen character line art for future processing.
now before i go on ,i have one thing to say.
I am very disappointed in you , am making an effort to go respectable and nobody is bothering to take a look.
so whats my plan?
Finish the big project and have profiles for all 35 of my characters .
once that is done and met all my characters as well as update the older ones as fresh artwork , after that i will be free to do more story pictures .
So what about the so called naughty profiles ?
once am done with the regular profiles am going to retool the existing ones in to more of nude profiles with supplemental emotional information.
So am i swearing off furry porn?
Well i got to much naughty in me to give it up completely but i have no intention of selling out my characters for cheep favs .
So if you want to see something in particular , just ask , that being said .
am in the process of upgrading my art kit, i already got my mits on a better drawing surface and am planning on going shopping for some fresh supplies like proper markers and possibly a new bamboo tablet if the model i want is in stock.

While working on the latest "naughty" picture my conscious began to bother me , i felt that was obvious stroke art was not sending the right message for my characters.
So from now on , no more sexually explicit (porn) depiction of my characters with out proper context , if there's no reason or story behind it then i won't do it.
In the same thought i will not allow the same depictions from others .
Atleast for the time being.
that being said if the scenario is in character then am all for it ,especially if there's some humor in it .
I still have a stock of unreleased material , mostly cheesecake and mildly provocative , there are some seen but there pretty tame and kind of cute.

a good example of out of context would be , say a tentacle monster having it's way with the girls , same seen but in context , the girls fending off a tentacle monster with varying degrees of success , rape is a bad thing and the girls won't stand for it.

Posted 13 years agoas some of you may already know am in to warhammer 40k
last Friday my order of armageddon steel legion came in , with that i would have been able to play all legionaries , in my excitement i unpack the rest of my legionaries , to my horror , my 3 steel legion officers where missing , at first i taught i might have misplaced them so i toure my appartment apart yesterday trying to find them , they are no wear to be found , with out my officers i cant play a game.
am certain there just lost and they will turn up eventually but meanwhile i am still quite upset, as much as i put in a lot of time and effort in to painting them.
combined with the hot weather i wasent feeling lie drawing much .
If anybody has a SL officer they wouldn't mind parting with , i would be grateful

Posted 13 years agoahhh am free , all my current artistic obligation are fulfill and i can concentrate on my own projects.
admiringly am a little more scatted that i would like but am finding tricks to compensate.
apart from the occasional skip so far am still trying to post a picture a day.
New artwork for the anniversary project is advancing nicely and theirs a positive trickle down to my other project.
beyond that i really feel the need to put out more clean profile pictures as well as updating the master character list.
What i may do is post the cleaned up line art as a temporary place holder until am done coloring.
what about story pictures and naughty stuff ? same as above , i have an impressive stack of unspanned stuff.
now i can make some for mini request but nothing too time consuming .
enjoy the rest of the day.

The anniversary project is taking form , the raw design work is looking good and the first sketches are advancing nicely , you may see some of the work early trickling down in to other upcoming pictures.
i have been doing a little thinking about the pictures and the characters profiles i uploaded so far,what i was trying to do was to drum up interest in my work by having said audience "desire" my characters and asking to see more .
As much as i love drawing naked bodies , in the end i just wasent respecting my self or my characters .
What i feel like i want to do is to make and post first the nice profile of the character before i do the naughty one.
the week end is here , that means more free time to do art .

After sorting threw my archive i cam to realize that the 10th anniversary of my posting furry artwork on the net has come and went .
Well am not going to stand for that so i am going to be planning a late 10th anniversary event .
among such things i plan on re introducing some of the original characters i took out of it's current incarnation.
Am not setting an exact date until what i have planed is a little more solid.
Am calling out to you , old friends , new friends to join in celebrating this momentous event.
now on to the artwork
f-ss's picture is moving along nicely , i may have something to show soon but because it's a multy character picture , it's going to take some time to finish.
the rest of the artwork
i have been a tad preoccupied "keep on reading" , my attention has been bouncing around a bit after i sorted my archives , i have a lot of good art that never made it to scanner.
More concerning is why my gallery here is so spartan considering i have been at this for over 10 years, well about half of my work ended up as trades and gift art "i was such a fool" something am not going to repost with out permission , i do have my integrity .
most of the rest is material of projects that are no longer relevant or would compromise the cannon of my current project.
the good news there are some peaces that can be rehabilitated with a little bit of re editing.
in terms of fresh art , i am going to concentrate on said event BUT i am going to be inking and painting what i already drew ,witch is a rather massive pile.
And now for something deep
after much reading and contemplation i gave come to the conclusion that for so very long i have been approaching the furry fandom and it's members wrong much to my own determent.
Over the last couple of days i have been re evaluating my position and my priorities .
So basically i am done complaining , done trying to fit it , am going to keep doing my thing ,not wear my heart on my sleeve keep my integrity and find enjoyment wear i can with in the fandom .
My life is my priority and the community around me .

I started doing that master character list , am planning on updating it regularly with fresh information and with new and old pictures.

f-ss is the next one who's picture am drawing "it's hush hush" and it's going to be silly .
the other two Guest characters profiles are still in the pipes , see down for more info.
The new background picker looks great and it's just a sketch atm , it's going to take a lot of time to color it because of the raw amount of details but it's going to be worth it long term .
now irl i have been cleaning out a lot of stuff and i stumbled on a folder full of drawings i misplaced last year, many of them are of good quality and some i already inked, ready to be scanned.
one last thing , i have been revisiting the old profile pictures and i find them lacking , at the time i was in a real hurry to get as many of thies out as possible and quality suffered , i plan on a later date to reedit them , i kept the original files so it's really a question of making a fresh background and enhancing the artwork.

To Everybody else Watching
Am always willing to entertain requests to draw more of my characters and if you have a scenario you would like me to draw , i would love to hear it .
BUT unfortunately for now , no more Gift art or trades untill i catch up on the backlog .
and now for my stuff .
as you can see i managed to post one picture a day all week , thas pritty neet from me and may be a singe of things to come .
you allready got to see some of the Class A pictures i want to paint and it's important that i step up my game.
other priorities is the for mentioned background or backgrounds i want to do .
beyond that i got buckets of character and other reference pictures i relay want to show , i may for a time just post thees as lineworks .

Well thugs have got interesting
If you have been keeping up i finaly got and went to get my "issues" delt whit , the medication has defenetly change things but the side effects and other systems are sort of trowing me for a loop , if your asking i am defenetly doing and feeling better than before .
The weather has been hot and muggy lately and sitting near the computer is a tad hot and uncomfortable, so at time i just camp out in my bedroom with the air conditioner and my sketch pad .
and lately my friends have shown an interest in my warhammer collection and got to drooling over my new 6ed roolbook , so i have been showing them how to play and it has turn in to a regular thing.
i have been feeling the urge to finish my armies and build more terrine so thas has been eating up 50% of my free time.
now Lord-Daniel http://www.furaffinity.net/user/lord-daniel/ has been doing a fantastic cross over comic with his characters and mind.
Am feeling disappointed with myself because i only have reference for 65% of my characters and very poor references for everything elst.
now what in the pipeline ?
first priority
Lord-Daniel's request , linework is done/scanned and posted , it's the next one to be colored
individual profiles for both Jen and Clair using the picture i already uploaded .
Secondary priority
RayO_ElGatubelo has been nice enuff to post on my journal so i bump up doing Zelda's profile picture , note i actually have other pictures done , just need to be scanned and cleaned up.
F-SS http://www.furaffinity.net/user/f-ss/ did a very cute picture with Stella and am in the mood to to do something back so am doing something with Aggie , it may not be the original scenario i pitched but it's going to be fun , note it will include some test sketches of Aggie to get a feel for the Character.
RayO_ElGatubelo has inspired me to do a master reference file for all my Characters , even if i don't have the proper rferance picts yet so you just have to look it up in the forum.
What about later ?
i have some vacation time coming and i hope to be able to finish up more artwork "as well as some warhammer"
speaking of warhammer , i plan on taking more pictures as soon as the weather stops being insane or next time i set up my game table .

If you have been keeping up i finaly got and went to get my "issues" delt whit , the medication has defenetly change things but the side effects and other systems are sort of trowing me for a loop , if your asking i am defenetly doing and feeling better than before .
The weather has been hot and muggy lately and sitting near the computer is a tad hot and uncomfortable, so at time i just camp out in my bedroom with the air conditioner and my sketch pad .
and lately my friends have shown an interest in my warhammer collection and got to drooling over my new 6ed roolbook , so i have been showing them how to play and it has turn in to a regular thing.
i have been feeling the urge to finish my armies and build more terrine so thas has been eating up 50% of my free time.
now Lord-Daniel http://www.furaffinity.net/user/lord-daniel/ has been doing a fantastic cross over comic with his characters and mind.
Am feeling disappointed with myself because i only have reference for 65% of my characters and very poor references for everything elst.
now what in the pipeline ?
first priority
Lord-Daniel's request , linework is done/scanned and posted , it's the next one to be colored
individual profiles for both Jen and Clair using the picture i already uploaded .
Secondary priority
RayO_ElGatubelo has been nice enuff to post on my journal so i bump up doing Zelda's profile picture , note i actually have other pictures done , just need to be scanned and cleaned up.
F-SS http://www.furaffinity.net/user/f-ss/ did a very cute picture with Stella and am in the mood to to do something back so am doing something with Aggie , it may not be the original scenario i pitched but it's going to be fun , note it will include some test sketches of Aggie to get a feel for the Character.
RayO_ElGatubelo has inspired me to do a master reference file for all my Characters , even if i don't have the proper rferance picts yet so you just have to look it up in the forum.
What about later ?
i have some vacation time coming and i hope to be able to finish up more artwork "as well as some warhammer"
speaking of warhammer , i plan on taking more pictures as soon as the weather stops being insane or next time i set up my game table .

Posted 13 years agoseriously after many long years of suffering and all the red tape of the health system , i am finally properly diagnosed (i hope) and most importantly MEDICATED
apparently i have a form of dyspraxia , i have problems processing language and information , with out getting in to technical details , whats easy for you is hard ,tiring, stressful work for me.
The systems are a lot like ADD (ADHD) and can be treated in a similar fashion and medication but unlike ADD it doesn't go away with age.
Other significant symptoms i had to live with (and suffer) was serious anxiety ,depression as well as significant concentration and organization issues.
As much as i love my job , at the end of a days work (and a weeks work) i was totally mentally exhausted, same as with Working with photoshop , after about 30 min of concentration my brain just cant take any more, witch enplane why some of my project took days and weeks instead of just hours.
Note things i do not have to concentrate on "like free hand sketching" i can do with out stress.
am official at the end of day 2 of being MEDICATED and the vial has been lifted from my eyes .
Including my ongoing therapy am now prescribe psychostimulant "feels like i drank 5 espressos at once" interesting thing , coffee is a psychostimulant as well so i might have been self medicating.
speeking of self medicating , i am frigging lucky that i don't drink,smoke or do dope , that would have made my cause a tad unsalvageable .
ok back to my defective brain , day one was awesome , afther about 30 min of my first pill, my attention/perception started to whats the word in english ? never mind , in breef paying attention was no longer a chore , it was clear and easy and for the first time after a day of work , I DID NOT CRASH for two hours like usual.
DAY 2 i may have pushed my self a tad hard , i had a poor nights sleep "check side effects" i took on a couple of tasks that pushed my brain a bit hard and i faltered a bit BUT doing the same thing last year , i would have crashed and burned, interestingly enuff unlike my usual mid week routine ,did some chores, i cooked my self dinner (instead of frozen or can) and cleaned up after. AND that with having a mentally challenging day .
ther are a couple of side effect i have to deal with , No. one because it's a stimulant , getting a good night sleep has been an issue , second is my appetite has been weird , my Stomach is saying feed me and my brain sais am not hungry, next is i have to watch my caffeine intake , after my second cup of joe i felt nauseous ,so got to cut down on the coffee and soda .
So far i haven't tryd drawing yet "sort of one of my fears , once medicated , i would lose my wonky creative side But i have been painting my Warhammer stuff again , am defensively more focused and less tired.

now i have some significant good news and developments.
in the upcoming weeks i will finally have my ADD addressed , yes i have been suffering wit this for a long time and enplane why i just can't keep a solit phocus on what am doing, and oodles of unfinished pictures.
now for the art part , i actually been drawing lots but a combination of illness , heatwave a other general distraction , i just havent been spending time on photoshop. But what i have been doing is drawing i my room wear the air conditioner is installed.
one of the things i want t try to concentrate some more is more NICE story art i can show publicly "and some how i just can't get my mind out of the gutter hehe"
right now on my work table is a nice picture of Claire and Jen , wip of this are currently posted , next up i have a naughty "but still nice" picture called Cats and water do mix , last up is one cald Zelda Vs Raz.
with any luck i will be able to do a short flode of new pictures this Saturday

Posted 14 years agoif you notest i have been rather distracted in a good way , "enplanes later" in a good way but things are finding a rythem so am finding time to advance my other projects.
what i want to try to do over the holidays is to finish the character profiles i started last year, atleast for all the primary ones.

i have started on the actual Dakion alpha/the furball express comic , the first chapter is written down and new artwork is in production.
there is plenty of eyecandy and at least 2 naught seen planed.
now i am still open for a couple of guest characters on the crew if your interested , on my side i am still working hard at filling some vacancies , possibly have to resort to using a couple of nameless background characters "i have a fair amount of ideas sketched"
what may happen is that my non comic artwork output may slow down , especially fully colored works BUT i can still sketch out simple requests on my relaxing time.

Posted 14 years agoapparently i have been in violation of the site's AUP by using public domain pictures in my background , now i do admit thas some of the pictures while not stolen where not fully credited "and can't get the original source"
what got me angry is that i felt that i was arbitrarily ordered to comply instead of being politely ask .
I positively hate being told what to do.
if photografuhrer chooses to accept my compermise it will dentally help in calming down the situation .
for the most part new artwork is on stanby , as much because i want to wait for a response that i relay need to calm down .
what i have come to understand is i depend too much on my collection of stock pictures and at some point i need to provide my own backgrounds , atleast i have been looking in to aquiering some 100% issue free public domain pictures from NASA to use in my space pictures.
what got me angry is that i felt that i was arbitrarily ordered to comply instead of being politely ask .

I find the sudden application of this rather arbitrary and dang aggressive.
for now , all pictures are on hold until this gets sorted out.
now a lot of what has kept me drawing furry is the trickle of positive feedback i have been getting.
but with this incident i am starting to doubt if it's wourh the effort if i am going to be told what to do and how to do it.
am relay divided , i don't want to start over on a new site and with the work in progress nature of my stuff , with out the support i do have it will just fall apart.
i had a dream of some day being published once i had everything together, i don't want to give up on my dream but after this i am thinking it's time to move on.
i am about to give this crate one last big kick , i may get what i want or i will probably get band , lets see what happens.
