It's nice to see the sun setting later and later every day. Don't know if you've noticed, but sneks need sun.
So, some of you may have noticed some of these commissions in the past and may note that I haven't been posting them in chronological order of when they were drawn...
But since I took nearly forever to get around to posting them, it just seems right to group them together when they're related subjects and just post the ones I feel like on those days. Kind of a breath of fresh air not needing to try and piece together exactly just in what order I'll have to do them...
I promise I'll eventually get around to posting them lol... I hope :p

Life Update
Posted 4 years agoPlenty's happened over what's been nearly 3 years since I've been an active participant of the FA community. Graduated. Got a new job. Moved places. But things are going pretty well in general.
It's funny that despite the lack of posting over here, there have been a lot more commissions than ever before, some of which may have been noticed on various artists' accounts. Alas, I think it's time to finally consolidate them all in one place once again and to share some of the wild stuff that people seem to enjoy coming out of my weird, weird mind. Always gonna try to push the boundaries of what a 'sensible' yet monstrous creature is while still trying to making as appealing as possible to the masses I suppose.
So, expect a mass influx of posts over the next couple of weeks. It might lack some of the prose I've originally craved for some of the pieces, but I hope once the ball gets rolling things will slowly fall in place. Apologies in advance if some of the posts lack a detailed description.
With that said, it'd be nice to start reengaging with folk on here again. Probably something I've neglected for a while, but in recent times has meant a lot to me. <3

What is summer?
Posted 7 years agoGreetings! Hope you guys are having a blast with much friendlier weather popping round. After this year's dreadful winter and spring, definitely can't wait to soak up all that sun ^^
Oh my, I seem to be posting stuff less frequently with each journal! So, here's just another life update and such. Basically, university end of semester exams have kept me busy towards the end of May. After that, was pretty busy packing up the house to move out, as I had to start my 1-year internship last week. Did that, and now we're here. There's been a dreadful lack of a proper holiday, but I'm trying hard not too think too hard about it!
How's your summer been so far? Hopefully you all would have something fun to do? Just pop a comment~

Happy Belated Easter!
Posted 7 years agoTrying to stick to at least one journal per month at least! UwU It's still not a good sign when you have about 2000+ notifications every time you check on FA again.
Hope you all had a great Easter weekend and didn't get pranked too much by April Fool's! University gave us a 2 week break and I was more than eager to use the first half to jet off to France and Italy for a quick getaway. The Mediterranean's soooo pretty >.< I'm already missing the sunshine and the sound of waves gently crashing against the shore. The cloudy and rainy weather back in the UK isn't helping.
Another thing - if any of you play Overwatch I'd definitely be up for a game or two if you're interested! I kinda keep my gaming accounts private, but send a note and we'll see how we get along (I love having notes xD)!

Posted 7 years agoKeeping in line with a resolution that forces me to at least make a post or journal every now and then, here we are with another edition of the life of snek! .Y.
First up, this month's been filled with busy-ness because of exam revision, and attending interviews for a job all over the country. At least all of that's over now, since we're just waiting for the results to come out and that I've finally secured a job for a year! Now, there's acting practice for a cultural performance at university. The event's in a week from today, so I'm really hoping that we'll be able to sell enough tickets to break even >.<
On the furry end, I've got around 3 commissions in the pipeline after a slight drought during the holiday period. They're looking really good, and I can't wait to share them with you guys. Be excited for a barrage of taurs!
And finally, a subject I won't allow to slip my mind. Given the frequency of gun attacks at schools in the US, I can't help but offer my thoughts and prayers to anyone and everyone involved. I really hope that a solution to the growing epidemic would be found soon before more people have to suffer.

Just discovered a game
Posted 7 years agoOops, forgot to post something for New Year's, but hope you guys all had a great New Year! Hope 2018 will bring even more good times.
Anyways, been browsing around and I can say that I'm incredibly hyped for an upcoming RPG. It's called Biomutant, and it's literally the gaming equivalent of the film industry's Zootopia. I mean, you get to customise almost every aspect of your character, appearance and ability-wise. Every change apparently counts towards what your character can and cannot do. It's a furry fan's dream. I suggest checking it out. http://biomutant.com/ (And no, I was not paid to do this xD Found a video of it on Facebook and couldn't help but share it)

In Dire Need of Help: Selling Tickets!

It's completely unlike me, especially for an account that doesn't really post too much about irl stuff and lurks about most of the time, to suddenly come up with this sort of message... So, I'm selling 4 tickets, all in a row and beside each other, for The Killers concertat the O2 Arena in London on the 28th of November. It's a really last-minute decision to pull out from the show as I've just had another massive load of coursework dumped onto me and that going out of town to watch a concert can't justify the time I'll lose. I'll have wasted so much money if I don't get these tickets sold that my mind hurts just thinking about it x.x Even if you aren't interested, I'd appreciate enormously if whoever reads this spread the word. Feel free to note me for further details.

Looking to Commission Halloween Art!
Posted 8 years agoIt's been ages since I've posted a journal or shown that I've been active on here (aside from faving stuff, of course) as the first two months since starting the second year of university has been surprisingly and awfully hectic. Time has flown by so quickly that it has just only hit me that it's actually Halloween!
To celebrate the occasion, albeit a little (alright, very) belatedly, I'm pretty interested in looking to commission some spooky transformation art! With the influx of monies with the start of the new month, I might just have around 70 USD to spare. If any of you guys are willing to take up the offer or know of someone who'd agree to it, feel free to post a reply!
That said, a very happy 31st of October to you all! HAPPY HALLOWEEN YALLS

An update in like forever

What's with the sudden influx of new watchers? *squeals excitedly* So very not used to having so many of them in such a short period of time, but it's all much appreciated! Ironic too since I've not been posting any new stuffs for quite a bit haha. Either ways, the more the merrier, my little minions!
On the topic of the lack of activity, which has become almost routine now during my time on FA and dA, I've taken the annual summer vacation with family and just come back about a week ago. I've definitely put on some pounds from all that eating, but I don't regret having all that amazing holiday food, not one bit! xD Eventually will try to burn it out at the gym I guess. Anyways, that vacation, coupled with a general laziness to get on and do stuff and the lack of photoshop on my new computer, has definitely slowed down anything I was even hoping to do over the holidays. I've still got about a month of summer break to go, so we'll see if I can push out anything. Even commissions are on a slowdown as I'm trying to save up for the new academic year x.x
Hope all of you out there are doing fine and have a great summer!

Anyways, since finals are over and I'm back home for the summer, I finally broke through the laziness to post a few pieces of art I've managed to accumulate over the past few months. A bit of this and a bit of that really. Also, glad to finally have a piece of my eponymous character too! It's been quite a while since he's had the chance to take the limelight in my gallery.
To those I usually chat to, that also means that I'll now be back to a GMT+7 timezone, compared to the +0 during term time. Kinda makes it a little more difficult to find a time where both of us can chat, but meh, we'll work things out!

Posted 8 years agoFinally got my spring break after most of my other friends have nearly had 2 weeks of theirs xD Will be visitng the Netherlands this time round, so I'll be pretty much afk during the trip, with slight exceptions when I get to access pockets of wifi. Any suggestions of what to do over there?
Eye problem... solved!
Posted 8 years agoAn update especially for those who might have seen my pretty pathetic status on Skype last week!
It all started last Thursday when I was playing some badminton with a few friends. Just simple rallies, and haven't even started any proper matches yet. All of a sudden I felt something enter my eye, and doing what any normal person would do, I tried to remove it as quickly as possible. Thing is, it didn't come out. Weirdest of all was that nothing had hit my eye prior to that, and it had just come out of the blue. Washing it a countless number of times didn't help, and the discomfort was so great that I needed my friends to escort my back to my dorm. A power nap after that didn't help things either, and I had started to get real worried. I struggled to see at all as blinking was a pain, and after much effort I managed to dial up the NHS (the British healthcare provider) to ask for their advice after explaining my situation.
Had to go to the hospital the next day to get it checked, but then again, the doctor couldn't find anything! There wasn't a scratch on my cornea (worst case scenario) and nothing could come out (best case scenario) after a few rounds of very discomforting saline eye wash. The doctor then determined that there was probably a cut on my sclera (the white part) beneath my eyelid and just gave my some eye moisturiser and sent me back. If it didn't get better then I'd most likely have to go in Monday for an operation... But thank goodness my vision was finally returned to me later that evening. Needless to say, it was a pretty harrowing and depressing situation (vision's the most essential sense to me, really).
But hey, I'm alright now! And thanks for reading this rant. Huntinsnake signing out!

Posted 8 years agoIt's almost been forever since I last put a journal up here (almost as usual too, but especially poor on me this time round), but here it is, in the midst of much busy-ness!
I've essentially had a huge bunch of stuff going around at university (or college as those of you over the pond call it) lately, and all of those commitments have taken a huge chunk out of what little time I can spare for myself to just chill and hang out online. I won't go into too many details, but it has involved managing people, acting, dancing, drawing and plenty more. All of these different projects have caused me to go into overdrive, and I just can't wait for all of this to be over soon! Once tomorrow is done with a huge chunk of time would have been freed up, so I'll finally have the precious time to browse and chat amongst you wonderful people once more.
See you guys soon and stay frosty!
