a) does anyone have ANY recommendations for migraines? i get them chronically, sometimes more often than other times, and lucky me has gotten them literally every other day for the past 2 weeks.
aleve is the only thing that really diminishes the pain to something tolerable, but i have been having stomach pains and am supposed to lay off the NSAIDs for a bit!!
i have some aromatherapy stuff and tried it but it just didn't help much last night
if anyone has any suggestions it would really be great. they completely disable me and i can't sit up usually, much less get work done or even tell people that i have a migraine and won't be working tonight.


b) due to said migraine i didn't get much work done last night so hopefully i'll be doing catch-up work this evening!!

i am bad at names and i'm going to be making a closed species! so i thought maybe doing a small giveaway would be a good in-between to get 1) interest and 2) a name that sounds better than what i could come up with

- they are able to switch between two forms as needed; typically triggered through very emotional events (some prefer one form or the other)
- mostly nocturnal (kind of biome dependent!!)
- can be feral or domestic

so i've been Really.... unmotivated to do art, and every time i've gone to draw its felt stiff and uncomfortable
i'm trying (in the longrun) to work on my art in a way that i can be both comfortable and happy with it, its been hard to find a medium

hence why most of the stuff ive done hasnt been very heavy on full body stuff. its just been hard lately. which is also why most of my trades are still incomplete but i promise i havent forgotten!

my bank has screwed up my card so im not able to access my account as of right now. i literally have to go to the dmv and get a NEW id before i can even go ask them to send me a new one. which im not happy about because we were going to wait to take my girlfriend too so she can get hers, but we cant because she doesnt have proof of address yet. and probably wont until the end of this upcoming week

its also been really hard to readjust to being online with her around though, so ive been kind of absent in that way too. i really hope that i can get back into the swing of it once school starts again!! not that im gonna be going to school, things are just more lively.

ALSO ive been working on a sci-fi story, i have a lot of characters and a general plot laid out. im not sure if itll be mostly writing or a comic though!!! any advice on comics would be appreciated it. i know theyre a lot of work but it might be worth it!!!
would anyone even be interested in like a comic/story combo? not like a Really Big comic but like. 4/5 panels that dont give a whole lot of info unless youve read em all. i guess.

i usually don't feel like it's necessary to take emails for smaller commissions (headshots/icons) but theres' been a couple folks that have commissioned me and haven't gotten back to me about their commissions once i finished it!

this isn't REALLY a problem but i actually sent the finished commission to a couple different people and either furaffinity ate the note or it was just missed by accident, and because of that i never got confirmation on whether or not the art was a-ok

and when furaffinity had its outage i had a commissioner have their account totally deleted. so i have no way of getting in contact with them.

should i be asking for contact emails? it feels like a kind of extreme thing to do for $4. but i feel really guilty otherwise.

and on that note: if you commissioned me and haven't seen anything from me let me know!!! my trello is up on my featured journal so you can see if i've gotten to you yet. but even then: feel free to ask me about things. i don't want anyone to think i'm blowing them off!

hello!!! my last journal was talking about how my girlfriend was moving in with me and the brief hiatus that followed

these past few days i've been convinced that i was dying (in a lot of different ways) and my ocd has gotten so bad that i have to lather and rinse my hands around 15 times before i can stop washing them. i've been sleeping for close to 14 hours a day because of depression and i've had like no energy for ANYTHING

it's just. so bad!!! i never expected to be this dysfunctional when i was younger. i had anxiety and depression and bpd when i was young too. that hasn't changed. it just feel like its been getting harsher the older i get. and its scary. i don't do well on meds. a lot of them make me worse, on top of not being able to remember to take them at the right times due to adhd and non24. it feels like i can't win and like i'm not made to win, and at the same time no one even humors the idea of me going on disability and its scary. too scary.

when i'm not convinced i'm dying i'm wanting to be dead and it's like. sometimes its EASIER being suicidal and its terrible. sometimes i'm both, at the same time, and it sucks. jeez does it suck.

i would just like to be able to go a day without literally fearing for my life while i can do absolutely nothing about it. sometimes the reassurance from other people helps but other times it feels like it really can't do anything for me at all. and i am so sick of it. i am tired. so tired

anyway. i am working on commissions! i am getting them done, rest assured. :~) most of what i have to do is icons and they are easy enough to do, just a little time consuming in large batches. i should have everything finished by the weekend

on another note: my girlfriend is moving in with me this saturday!! i am not only pumped but also going to be putting commission finishing into like. overdrive hopefully, because i will not be back to work on them until the following tuesday or wednesday (5/31 or 6/1) should i not get them done before.

we are also having a yard sale this weekend so i have to get some of my junk together. and clean my room. i have a lot to do and little time to do it but thats alright because i like to think i preform well under pressure. that or i just say to heck with it and do nothing and its all good anyway, haha.

commissions should be back open in maybe a week or so? i want very desperately to practice full body stuff (my proportions bother me) so i might do referenced full body lineart for cheap, so keep an eye out for it!! other than that i think i will be adjusting some prices and hopefully making a real commission sheet soon.
