+$5 for Extra complex designs (if your wondering if what you want counts as complex just ask)
+$10 Adult or extra character

* A Journal will tell when I'm open and will update as spots are taken.
* I will open in batches of 5.
* I will be posting journals at odd times, 2am 1pm 8pm etc. so no time zone has a advantage.
* One at a time - while I don't mind if someone snags a IA spot twice I think its more fair to only allow one per batch.
* No prelim sketch unless its something I'm not %100 confident about

* For extra complex designs I can draw them in a more simple fashion if you want to keep it at $15. ^^

Getting myself a b-day gift and since my own camera wont hold a charge for two photos,is useless with its flash on, and blurs to all hell if anything moves I'd rather not get a new battery and just get something newer.

I don't have alot to spend so while I'm sure the $400 ones are dandy I'm just after something decent not amazing.

I want to get one primarily for my rats...I hate that all my videos of my babies are less then 30 seconds and the photos are a luck or no luck thing. I cant keep them forever but by god I want to keep something of them forever.

I wanted to get a flip camera way back but they died RIGHT when I got the funds..very upsetting. I've been looking at the Sony Bloggie but its reviews aren't shining so yeah, anyone have something they would recommend ?


Also in other news I haven't talked about the thing I got for christmas. Its soft, white and needed a home. A PEW baby rat. Someone at dads work put up a paper trying to find homes for their surprise litter and dad took one of the boys a few weeks ago and hid him at the neighbors to quarantine (they helped with Rook to). I might name him Krampus, partly since its Christmas themed, partly due to PEWS undeserved "evil" look, and partly since I think its a adorable name. Might make it more KRUMpus since , makes me think of Krumm from Aaahh real monsters. Which is likly what I'll shorten it to like I call Toodles - Toods.

He wasn't sure I would be ready for one so soon after losing Smee but wanted to help the woman out and help me get thru the depression I got in. Baby animals need so much time its really hard to curl up and ignore the world. I've never had a rat with pink eyes and I'm quite smitten with him, hes a sweet thing. Starting one by one intros to my boys and first one went amazing, he zoomed under their bellys and they couldn't care less even my dom boy Nibs. Its easier to add babes to groups then older boys so while he looks like a mouse next to my pudgy kids He should be ok, slow and steady.

Just one because I have literally 8c in my paypal and that makes me uncomfortable.

Also I'm working on a new price sheet so my prices are changing slightly with the new year. So last chance at my old prices.

I came home today to something I've feared for years, my Smee baby is gone.

He was fine this morning right piled in with the other boys as I stood there for my pre-work cuddles. But when I came home and came to the cage to greet everyone he was missing. I figured he was asleep somewhere so I looked for the normal undertowel lumps but didn't see any so I started reaching in hammocks till I found him. Curled up in his roll hammock, cold. I freaked out trying to get him out to try to do anything to get him breathing but I was far to late by that point.

I didn't think I'd lose him first. He was only 20 or so months old. My girls have him beat by 4-5 months. I thought I would have more time.

All of my other boys are fine, not a sneeze no runny eyes/nose, all bright eyed and bushy tailed. But so was
Smee this morning. I can only think that his heart gave out or he had a stroke...I just dont know.

I don't like to say favorite anymore then a parent would but Smee was mine, he was the most loving character.

...I call my rats "the kids" or "my babys"...I'm having a rough time atm. I knew this day would come sooner rather then later, I cant ask for more then a few short years from any of my rats. But I can't distance myself from them to escape this pain, I love them..their my babys....ugh.

I'm kinda at my limit.

I'm going on a watching spree...I have 2233 to go thru..yeah. no joke.

There's a reason I'm only watching 260 people. Not because I don't care to see other folks art but way back....YEARS back I fell offline for awhile. In that time I got watchers. I didn't want to just nuke them with out looking at their stuff and maybe watching back..but the number kept climbing ,I kept procrastinating, and its just scary how many there are now.

Not that I'm not thankful for watches! I just feel I owe people at least the time to browse their stuff for browsing mine.

So I'm gonna try to make a dent in it! I cant give shouts on the pages since Its going to be a task just doing it.

Sorry I haven't been around or updating

First Mist came out and blizz got me...agien.

I've had a cold/flu keeping me down for the past few weeks, Then last friday I started feeling really ill. Tried to rest but in the end It just wasn't getting better so I've been to a doctor and I'm feeling somewhat better today.

I'm trying to get back in to the swing of things, sorry to those I owe art ;; should have sketchs/updates out soon.

Getting sketches out slowly, haven't be online much this weekend with both my brothers and my dads birthdays happening. Wasn't in the mood to draw on my brothers birthday since I kinda just wanted to remember him alone. I don't want to do memorial things on the day he died so I get my photos out and laugh and cry at old times on his birthday. I'm now older then my big brother this year, hurts. :/

And then my dads birthday were we tried to cheer up and painted flowers on the van. :3 Shes looking so pretty now.

Hoping I dont lose power or get flooded with Isaac but lucky it seems to have moved far enough from the gulf coast of FL we wont have to deal with the worst of it. Praying for you folks on the upper gulf coast states ;; <3

Well less somehow, was using SPF 45 sunscreen but man I haven't been so long out in the sun in a while.

Had fun with the relatives, went to the beach alot went fishing some (I only caught a silver sea trout but he was to little.) But while we were fishing we saw a 4-5 foot nurse shark, three rays in a group and about 3 seaturtles which made casting scary since i didnt want to hook one. Also found chunks of FLIPING TAR on the beach at Fort Desoto...a beach with seaturle nests with tar chucks everywhere..bleh...

So ya back to normal, back to work :P

Two of my cousins are coming down tomorrow D: we talked about them coming down a few months ago but we just got a 24hour warning.

This is the first time I get to meet one of them since he was a babe in arms last time I saw him and now he has a baby of his own. Its weird lol "Hi I totally don't know you but were family <3" XD

So yeah its a scrub/dust fest tonight.

Ok I'm open for commissions in a way. There is a hitch.

Like my last journal states my normal monitor is dead. I cant color properly with this old screen.

I'll take 2 normal commissions since I can at least get to the inked stage and by then I should have a new monitor. Only taking two since I have older commissions to finish aswell.

 Stray suggested I also try a sketch stream where the sketches WILL be colored just not till I get a new monitor. I'll likely try this in a few hours since I'm working on a iron artist the best I can atm, so close to done. ;;

If I make enough in my paypal I can shop on newegg (my brother raved it was the best for computers) and pay with paypal to make it less time spent sending money from my bank on friday or funds from my paypal to my bank that would also take days.

The bad:

All those power outs seem to have fried my monitor somehow, I came home the other night and it was black so I thought my comp had gone to sleep but no such luck. I had to restart my comp and it worked for about 4 min in then boop black.

It wouldn't come back when I restarted the second time. but it did shortly when I tried to hook it up the next morning. So I'm guessing its messing up when it warms up ?? Thats bad.

The good:

I got my old monitor dug out of the garage and let it run on all night and no issue so far. Just tried it on one of my old computer towers and yet again worked for about 4-5 min before backing out.So its just the monitor not my computer it seems. Thats good.

The grr:

My only monitor is from 2001 and is a tiny screened chunky monster that is about 5 shades to dark no matter what I do. So any commission/images I might post till i get a new screen will likely need to be recolor/shaded and I will gladly fix them. But work goes on so long as one monitor works. The color picker tool is likely the only thing that will save the image from having wonky colors/shades. XD

I should have enough money on friday to get a new one, its less expensive then a full comp thankfully.

Also going to look in to a better surge protector. :/

So things have been mad here

We've had some amazing flooding going on with are street, it was about 16inchs and getting in peoples houses but thank GOD not are house. But it hasn't rained for days yet it is still about 8inchs in about 3 places down the road.

Also the blackouts we have been having have be amazing. its like a bloody rave for about 2 min before it finally dies. happened about 3 times in the past 2 days. have a oil lamp on my desk and it would be neat if it wasn't for the fact i have broken more of those then i care to think about...

Tomorrow I'm gonna be working at a charity at their thrift/yard sale since they are having a firework show and people will be around and hopefully buy/donate.

So yeah I'm still horribly busy..but doing my best.

In my own news- sorry I haven't been very reply active I keep putting it off trying to get work done at home and with commissions and I really need to just sit down and spend some time on the site....tomorrow maybe ><

Its now 50% under control and hasn't spread to close to the house. I'd like to say its all safe now but wind could still make fareups and get embers to spred it.

They just reopened the main road it was burning near that basically meant that if we left the blockade we wouldn't have gotten to come home till now, so yeah its hopeful.

No news on if any homes got burned and it seems no one got hurt so far.
