According to the thread, the patching/coding is still in progress, but from what I've been seeing from one of the translators, Shin's Route will most likely be done by tomorrow. He's sending it to WinterGreen, the head admin, to make sure things are ship shape.

As for them releasing it as a solid English patch? Not yet. WinterGreen is gonna release that when both of the routes are completed


So keep that patience going cause you'll still need to wait a while. Don't worry, they work on it everyday though. It gets updated on the current situation of the patching process everyday.

Yeah I'm getting sick of waiting. California is a shit place to get a job, I've been trying for ages and the whole time I've been given false hopes, fake interviews, and just no calls at all. It's so shit that not even McDonalds or WalMart has called me or offered me a job. Even after applying repeatedly.



So I'm altering my life plan and just saying that if I don't get a job by the time I turn 22 in a couple months, then I'm gonna just say fuck it and take out a student loan and go for my Culinary degree. I originally wanted to get a job to help pay for school finances, measuring cups, books, etc, as well as just some over all spending money that I can save to get Kody over here to see me. Now since Cali is a shithole for place for jobs, I'm just saying fuck it and going for my degree.



Which means that my time during the day will most likely be drained up by college, so I won't be able to be on all day like I normally do.

This is more of a statement then it is a rant since I know it's a touchy subject



I run the Wolf O'Donnell page on facebook, and I'm a part of the fur community there, so what takes place is we tend to distribute the art around that we find, and I've been accused of "art thievery" on a couple of occasions just because of what I posted.


Here's the thing,

Lets define art thievery.


Art Thievery is an poster who takes another artist's art and posts it somewhere else and claims it as their own, as well as taking a picture, tracing it and calling it theirs, and also taking someone's character, changing one thing and making it their own.


However, posting art on a different site ISN'T art thief. It's art distribution.



NOW. BEFORE YOU GET YOUR PANTIES IN A BUNCH, JUST HEAR WHAT I HAVE TO SAY FIRST.



Now.

I understand a lot of artists don't like their art thrown around on other sites, fair enough, as an artist, I can understand and respect that. You can always asked the "distributor" to please take it down in a kind manner, that's the best solution to a problem like that. Just handle it in a gentle tone.



I respect the artist's choice when they want me to take down the picture, and so I do so, I've also stated a few times before that I take NO credit for any art I post on my Facebook page. about 98% of the art I have posted aren't mine, or my character, and when the people do ask who the artist is, I give full credit to the artist, I link them their page, and if they don't have an FA page, I give them their "Artist Name". Also when i do post the art, I usually do get it from Tumblr, e621, fchan, etc so it's difficult to even credit the artist the credit.


"But its copyright infringement" Not necessarily no. It's like saying I took a picture of someone's art at a student's art gallery and then posted it on facebook. I don't post art from artists who intended to make money off that specific piece of art. I also don't make money off of it, I don't have people pay me to see the picture. All I do is just post it up.


Now, by now you're probably asking me "Well how would you feel if someone posted YOUR art on other sites?"



Well, here's the thing, I don't mind at all, as long as they don't take any CREDIT for drawing it or anything, then that's fine. I've actually had my art posted on other sites before like, fchan, 4chan, etc. I mean hell, if you look on Fchan now, you can still see a couple pictures of MINE that are on the site, and to be honest, I'm more FLATTERED then anything.


I also know that not every artists think in such a way, which is why I respect their choice and opinion when they want art removed.



Only other thing I will say is that, as an artist, we need to be able to just accept the fact that our art will most likely be distributed on other websites. As long as you post the picture on the internet, there will ALWAYS be the risk of people distributing and sharing your picture to other pages. You won't be able to stop it all and everyone from distributing your art, specially when you're a growing "popufur", it just gives you the higher risk of being distributed around. We have to at least just be happy and flattered that your art is good enough to be posted around. I sure am.


I mean sure, if you're able to get your art taken down from a site you don't won't, then go for it, just do keep in mind, it does happen. That's just how I view it, that's all~

Also the new patch is only in Japanese right now, we'll need to wait a couple months for the translation patch to take place.
