Thank you all.
Posted 4 years agoThank you guys for who you are.
I may not always show it and lord knows I'm slow to respond along with being scatterbrained but you guys are a good bunch.
I'm happy you all want to speak with me, be it just to hang or the very obvious raunchy fun we look for as it does make me feel wanted.
If i do not show it or make you feel unwanted then i am terribly sorry about that as i have no intention of coming across as cold or uncaring and while my brain might be wired one way that makes this hard, i should be better to you guys when you're some good friends and i would hate to wrong you.
This is not a cry for help of any sort nor a last message "before i leave". I just wanted to take some time and thank you guys.

Friend passed away.
Posted 5 years agoYesterday, was informed that a friend of mine is sadly no longer with us.
He was known around here on FA as Asyk/anyonelsewantsome as a mudokon and part time a dragon. His account is deactivated as of this writing.
I didn't know him for the longest time, about a year but during that time he was a lovely guy to talk to and i enjoyed the conversations and calls we had.
He went radio silent months ago and last night i found out he passed away on his own terms the morning of the same day.
There was a lot of hardship in his life from what i was told. A friend of his informed me using Asyk's account over on Discord on what had happened and the details of it.
I am hesitant on posting all the details but suffice it to say, life was harsh on him and he didn't deserve it.
It's sad to hear such news as you always want the best for your friends and for them to make it through.
I'm posting here so people might know that he is no longer with us as it might be worse to just think he's gone without knowing what happened.
Asyk's friend didn't know about him here and he cant get in contact with friends or groups on Telegram so if anyone knew him there or where he hung out then please pass the message on.
It was only a relatively short time i knew him but it was a time i enjoyed with them.
He might have been known by a few different names but he was always know as a friend.
Wherever you are Asyk, i hope you found your peace.

Take up streaming?
Posted 6 years agoSo i have been giving some thought about streaming, recording gameplay and generally filming what i with the hobby. I'm leaning more on doing it but are there any good reasons for or against taking it up?
If i where to take it up, what kind of programs would you guys recommend using for this endeavor?

Not going to Anthrocon.
Posted 7 years agoSo i released a journal last summer saying that i was going to be going to anthrocon this year, bar something popping up.
I'm going to have to say that i am sadly not going to be able to make it this time around as well. I'll be trying to get there at some point or a con similar somewhere in the US but for now it's on hold as things are changing in my life such as the move and things will be going a lot better (granted things are pretty good already so this is just a step up from a already good place).
Pretty much just letting you guys know in case you hoped to see me at the con.

30th birthday and Anthrocon
Posted 8 years agoSo Today i hit 30 years of age, nice round number and a big day.
I'm a bit torn on how to feel. On one hand it's just another year so i'm not to riled up and exited as i would have been before. That might be because i have gotten older and the years just pass on by but that brings me to the other hand where i feel my age hit me. Not in a physical sense as i am healthy and energetic. No, more that i think about age and how old i might get, the future going forward.
Perhaps i'm not to geared up as it's going to be a chill birthday while later this year i am making a bigger party out of it by going to Japan. If anything gets me exited it's a good trip somewhere.
Speaking of trips, that's where Anthrocon comes in. I was unable to make it this year for a double celebration but i have made up my mind on going there 2018. Got a full year of planning and i might even be lucky and get help from the family with making a suit. Got a lot to get in order before i get there but this is pretty much me making a statement that i will be attending Anthrocon 2018 and will try to meet as many of you as i can. Unless something major happens on this end, i'll be strutting about at the con.

Skype security issues, signal boost.
Posted 9 years agoRecently i noticed that two of my friends sent odd messages to me and gave links to some odd websites, one of them being "Baidu".
My friend
Adam0800 created a journal about his situation and i want to signal boost it so that we might be able to nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand.

Newsflas: open commission slots from a dracobear.
Posted 9 years ago*old timey announcer voice*
Newsflash!
The dragon bear known as
BurBarBeers is currently holding open doors at his house of giants and paws where attendance is expected to be in the thousands.
Even our venerable President Truman is expected to come and survey the art gallery and may make a purchase.
If this is interesting then information can be found in your local newspaper ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7574805/ ) on how to acquire this for yourself.
Yes, you may have the same kind of art that decorates the walls of the white house and add it's prestige to your own home.
This concludes your current news-broadcast, and now for something completely different.

Halloween movies.
Posted 10 years agoHey people.
Halloween is almost upon us and it's time to grab some candy, get in costume and have some fun with parties and scary movies.
The thing is however, there's a lot of scary movies to see and while i have a few lined up such as Ghostbusters and the the legend of sleepy hollow, the cartoon, i am wondering what you guys are planning on seeing along with what you are going to dress up as.

What a happy 4th.
Posted 10 years agoMost of my days are good, there's nothing super amazing happening most of the time but it's one day after another of things just doing well and not much to complain about. No news is good news, right?
That's why i really dislike bringing up bad news since i don't want to make it appear that things are going bad all the time when it's not.
I got home earlier to my place after the 4th of July BBQ at my parents place and a few hours later i get the message that one of the cats belonging to my parents just died. He didn't suffer and seemed to just sleep away but naturally the family over there did not take it well.
He was only 5 years old which is pretty short, even for a big cat like he was. This happens 3 weeks after my dog died so this summer seems like it's taking a turn for the worse.
Again, i want to make it clear that things on my end are normally great and that this is the odd things that happens but apart from getting a new dog (which kicked the bucket as stated above), there has not been much talk about. Seem like this summer is just going to be made of misery, even a couple of my friends are reporting losses on their end though mine is nowhere near what they went through
It's just not turning out well anywhere.

Fun Friday
Posted 10 years agoI don't like to be a Debbie Downer and post sad journals but it's easier to just let it out here then then go over it again and again to everyone i talk to. To those of you i have not talked to but whom is watching me, i am sorry for what you are about to read and i hope to have more positive journals in the near future.
I went to see Jurassic World with my little sisters, we had conflicting feelings about the movie but i personally enjoyed it, not as great as the original but still a fun romp.
Now for the sad part. Recently i had acquired a old service dog from the pound, she had been moving around from owner to owner and sadly the previous owners overfed her. She weighed a full 110lb's, a healthy German Shepard should weigh 66lb's. The plan was to slim her down over the summer and give her a good 4 years witch we expected her to have according to the vet. Less then 2 weeks later, right after i get back home from the movie, i find a dead dog in my house.
Naturally i had a bit of a emotional shock but as great as she was to have around she had not been around long enough to make a full impact so her passing was not as hard as the previous dog who had died a year ago. I did my best to keep her happy and she clearly was doing well but the overfeeding she had received was simply to much for her body so she ended up kicking the bucket. At this rate I'm getting a unfortunate streak for having dogs die under my supervision.
Currently i am doing well but it's left the weekend a tad awkward.

On favorites and watches.
Posted 10 years agoEver since i started uploading the stuff i had laying about on my computer i have gotten several watchers and even more favorites.
I love it that i am getting this kind of attention but i haven't given thanks personally to people for it. Mostly this is due to a lot of people doing it as of late and i feel it might be better to focus reply's on the comments i get on the pic's, shouts or notes.
Thanks again for this people.

Moving on foreward.
Posted 11 years agoHey guys, i know i dont ask a lot from you or the comunity as i stand on my own two feet for as much as possible but a man must know what when he must reach out his hand for support.
It's a question really and what you'r thoughts are about it. Just today i had to put my dog down due to a severe case of epilepsy she had, it was not something that was easy to chose for her but its something the family had discussed and the vet did give his diagnosis that it was only going to get worse.
It was terrible to go through even though i had perpared myself for this being the last trip with her and doing my best to give her a lovely day before that but as the injections went in her (one to sedate her and another one later when she was sleeping to softly kill her) i felt myself swelling up with tears and pushed them back as well as i could to avoid falling to my knees.
Once it was done and i was walking home i tried to keep it down as best as i could and while i did keep it back my attempt to get it out while alone in my house has not worked out. I feel i need to cry this out and get it out of my system and get over that teary part but i cant do it now.
I'm wondering if any of you guys know if its going to come and hit me hard at some other point or how it's best to go through this. i'm asking if anyone has gone through something like this and might advise on what might be best to do.

Moving to my new house.
Posted 11 years agoLiving on my own is alright in a flat but there's something special when you move to a house you can call your own. Not a room, not a floor but buying your very own house with a white pickett fence. I have no idea why lady luck smiled in such a way to me but i'm damn gratefull.
During the move i will be out of touch due to my net connection needing to be sett up so i dont know when i will be back. Got my phone but it will be limited acsess as oposed to how i have been normally.
Hope to see you all again soon in a normal capacity.

Having given it a test i'm happy to say it's a lot of fun as now you can not just kill people with bullets but also by casting spells!
There's tons of fun as far as i played though so far my favourite line has got to be from the scout. "You shall not freaking pass!"

One says to the other "It's kinda hot in here".
The other one replys "Aaah, a talking muffin!"

Posted 12 years agoIt has been a few weeks since my last log was sent for the archives here on this site but now is once more the time to tell what has happened on the journey of my sister and i.
After a stop to have the car repaired our trip was put on hiatus as the problems where worked out. once the morning rose over the horizon we where retrived by the staff of the garrage to see what had happend, the car had been cacked with filth on the interior of the seating compartment but the enginge had recived a haphazzard repair as someones project. it was far from perfect condition and the thought of the car having been sold for to much was in our minds.
None the less our freind Steve helped us with a reworked engine and new tires wich was a tremendous help for us and once more we could sett upon the road that beconed us to the west coast.
The days where long and filled with many stops but our car drove with new vigour despite it not beeing in perfect condition. Past the states we passed with clear marks of our road and a map that guided us fairly through the cities, that was untill we reached a place that was a turning point of our journey, a place where we where tested and bearly made out with our sanity intact as our tempers to eahother flared. a place we would now come to dread and thank we where not.
Oklahoma.
The road up untill that point was marked clearly and with sgins that showed us just where to go but once we reached Oklahoma that changed and the roads where leading us blind through the state where our intuition and map played a stronger role to guide us but we where still not prepared for Oklahoma city.
It was a city of confusing roads, challenging turns and a heat that threatend to dry us of all our fluids our bodies posessed. It was luck that showed us a sign that lead us onto the right path and out of the city wich we put behind us quickly. after a brisk pace through the state it was all behind us but the trip would never be the same. Everything after the state of Oklahoma would become less and less populated with longer roads of heat in a car that offered no cool winds save for the open windows but even then the wind burned us.
The latter half was a challenge and one that would test us but we would always from that point onwards "At least it's not Oklahoma"
Texas held a eventfull night as a storm hit the mid state but we where safe in the north part in the town of Amarillo, away from the hail of ice that matched the size of tennis balls further down south. Once the morning came though our journey took us further west through new mexico but at this point we where stopping less and driving upon the road to reach our destination more quickly.
Despite our fast driving we stopped by the town of Asheville, the place where our family once would have settled down. Instead we lived in the northern lands up high in europa so the life we could have had is lost to a different timeline. North of Asheville though we stopped for the night to gaze at a wonder of nature that needs no introduction.
The grand Canyon.
It is a place of splendour, a beauty that escapes my ability to give it words that are befitting of it's majesty. I gazed upon a painting that was out before my eyes with colors that challenged my mind to comprehend it. It is a place where one must be to fully understand what it is.
I stood upon the edge, legs against a railing that held me secure as the wind shot through the canyon and hit me full force while i gazed on the stone below. If here was any way to feel a majestic form of flight then that was the closets i can come to the real thing. A feeling of spreading wings upon my back came over me as a draconic guise was placed in my mind and i swept across the stone floor and high into the skies before landing on the cliffs. My mind was filled with many more vivvid thoughts aswell wich i give thanks to this place.
As grand as it was there we had to move on and after a night nearby we where once more to the west. Arizona stood between us and California and with a loa of supplies in the back we sett upon a road that was barren and hot. Long roads on featureless plains made it hard to measure what speed we had, therefore our speedometer became the sole source of this information. The roads would take us further, into the mountains and through old mining towns before more long deserts untill we reached California. The desert was persistant though and we had to escape its heated grasp but eventually we reached the shores of the west and rejoiced as a month of travel was finally at a end.
Celebrations where made upon arrival and then plans on a place to stay. After a search our road led us once more to a new destination where we would call home for the next month.
It has been a week since we started to call long beach our home but our host has been a great man and given us a place to stay along with a good smile. This next month will be a journey to make our mark on a film industry, a small mark where experience is our biggest reward but that is a story in the process of beeing told and i will let my words retell that once it has passed.

Travels and troubles.
Posted 12 years agoIt has been a few days since my last recount of the journey i have embarked upon but i have a moment to retell what i have been through. Seems like such a long time but really it's been rather short all things considered.
As my sister and i departed from Washington we sett our course south. The name of the town we landed upon eludes me for the time being but this might be due to the sleep deprivation i experienced there.
We spent the rest of the afternoon trying to search for a car that wold serve as our mode of transportation in a attempt to make out journey across the historic route 66 a reality, sadly though the cars we sought out where hard to purchase due to non show's of the owners.
Forced to stay the night in the city we attempted to spend the night at a diner where we would take shifts in staying awake in a booth at the far corner but the layout of the diner would not let us do so and we where forced to stay in a spot where the serves where observing us simply as they passed. Even a attempt to sleep in a position that was lacking in comfort made a waitress tap me upon the knee to keep me awake as it was not a motel to check in.
With no sleep we continued the next day in a odd mood where we flowed between giddy and irate. After a failed attempt to buy a car we though was suited for us we finally purchased a car we found after my sister gave her blessing upon it. It was a car that had seen better days both inside and out as the previous owner had lacked to care for it in any way but at a price of 1000$ it as one that we purchased as the engine was sound, a choice we would later regret.
We left the same afternoon for North Carolina and after a quick check at a motel we arrived the next day to see our aunt and grandmother which raised our spirits after years since our last meeting. The next half week was spent with our aunt, seeing the local town and preparing for the next stage of the journey. The car was a horror to sit in and made our skin crawl just by staying inside it so when our hands started to clean the interior the car soon started to become something close to it's old self. When done it was still a car that most might pass but it was finally a car my sister and i could travel in.
Departing on the 14th we sett our course for Chicago, my day of birth was arriving and i wished for a celebration fitting it's seedy history when i reached 26 of age. Travel around the city was a journey into old streets and new, a tour on sites where the old families of crime made their home and a meal fitting a head of the family.
Once my day had passed our plan of traveling the route 66 commenced and we sett off to the long horizon that called our names, calling from the glimmering shores of California. The next two days where spent in the car where i would Navigate us through the old route while my sister took the wheel and we sought out the spots of interest.
While many where a joy one spot stood out, not because of the history or it's location but because of the man that stood watch over it. In a old Texaco station used long ago to refill gas for weary drivers stood a man named Gary, holding a smile and disposition that warmed the hearts of those that passed on by. We stood and talked for a while about the route, the travels upon it and also over where my sister and i had come from. Eventually i learned that Gary had once been blind for many years, having lost his sight gradually until it was gone and his world was darkness.
He had learned to survive in this new state of life and worked well for years until one event changed it all again. Waking up on morning his sight had returned to his left eye all of a sudden one morning which gave him a fright. His body had repaired the nerves that had once burned out and it gave the doctors a chance to heal the other eye aswell, now he could read small letter at a distance with the eyes of a young man which had troubles reading myself at the same range even though my eyes are still strong.
Gary was only in his 8th week of having regained his eyesight and now wished to travel to Sweden wich is the land of his heritage. If anyone reading this meet's Gary, either on 66 or outside it then let him know a couple norse travelers remember him.
After a few nights in the car though we woke on morning to find that our car had sadly recived a flat tire after a small bump to a curb the previous day and now we had to replace it. Since our night was spent close to a garrage that could change our tire the worst we went through was a cut into our budget that we could live through. Though the day brought more fun adventures a engine light in the afternoon brought the car to a different garrage later in the day as a thunderstorm surrounded the area with lightning and made it almost impossible to take the car to service.
This is where we found out the car was worse off then we thought it was. It had been worked on before by a less skilled mechanic and some parts failing while other's where a miracle found a way to function. Our mechanic gave us a estimation on what the price would be to fix it and after a moment of hesitation where return to my sweet land of mountains and fjords called i took my sister's advice and we went for the repairs. With a smile out mechanic helped us settle into a hotel for the night where i now sit and write for those that wish to read this journal i have made.
So far this trip has not even reached Saint Louis and our troubles are heaping up. We will see if we can reach the shores of California with the car but so far it's not easy. As my sister said this day, never again shall we purchase a car without letting a mechanic inspect it first.
I will let you know should i have more news from this trip. If there is something you think we should see past Springfield which is where we are now then let me know and we will see if the journey can be made.

Washington DC
Posted 12 years agoOk, i have been really busy traveling about so keeping my journals up and running has Been hard, keeping up with what my friends are doing and creating in both stories and artwork is also quite difficult so pardon for the absence.
Using my phone has also proven tough due to its limited battery life and odd places to get wi-fi and typing with it also proves a hassle. Despite this i am having a great time and should Have something to post soon.
My sister and i left New York behind us but the Bus itself was chilled on the inside the night we left. I consider myself a nord, along with having a alter ego that is a arctic creature i would Say Some slight chill is Something i can handle, that as not The case as sleeping on The bus became a harder task as the air conditioning was cranked up on what i belive was full.
Getting the Philydelphia we and nowhere to sleep but after a Lucky turn we hit upon the train station and slept there. The benches where good enough to lay upon but a police officer told us we could only sleep there in a napping position. He might have been doing his job but at the time my lack of sleep left little sympathy for The officer as i attempted sleeping while sitting.
Once i had recived a few Hours of sleep and recived breakfast my sister and i explored the city historical center where the birth of a nation took place. It was A fun experience made only foul by the weight of the packs we carried upon our backs and the lack of Sleep that haunted us Through he day.
Once we consumed a philly cheesestake we left for The nations current capitol and slept on a Bus where The heat was to a once more liveble level. A hostel was our home For The next couple of nights and sleep once more welcomed us to rest. Our day took us from the white house to The washington monument, the lincon memorial, the jefforson monument and the air and Space museum, all in hat order. It as fun and memories of Fallout 3 came to me gain but the rain That caught us outside with no umbrella to be purchased soaked us to the bone.
Despite all this i am having fun and will bring tidings of my travels when i can Speak to those that follow me inspirit along the road.
