EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS - OPEN - URGENT!!!!!!!

i have $18 to my name, and i run out of ALL my medications by the end of this week, and i do NOT get paid until NEXT friday
i cannot be off my meds, i need them to function. my antipsychotics are my main concern, but ideally i'd be able to pay for all of my medications
my medications make it so i am alive, i cannot survive off them. at best: i'd lose my job and be admitted to the psych ward. at worst: suicide. i cannot stress how badly i need at the very bottom line my antipsychotics to survive. my medications are my literal sanity. i cannot have a psychotic relapse, i just can't, i have severe schizophrenia
i also need money for gas next week. the $18 should get me far enough where i can survive until my paycheck gas-wise. this is sadly where the $18 needs to go because i need to have gas to get to and from work to make money for next week's paycheck
i'm also not able to afford work lunches for the last 3-4 days until payday. i have 4 work lunches left, and i work 7-8 days until my next paycheck. i'm not overly concerned about this, as if i have to skip lunch at work a few days, that's the least of my concerns and i'll just cope
MEDICATIONS:
- antipsychotics: $22
- antidepressants: $13
- testosterone: $30
ideally, i'd have enough for my medications and extra for a week's worth of work lunches. also some extra to go towards gas in case the $18 can't cut it (my car takes $30 to fill her tank from E, granted she is VERY good on gas so i don't see why $18 won't last until next friday [filled my tank today])
donations are preferred because i've been working my fucking ass off to make more money to pay my rent, car insurance, food, current debt, everything. commissions of all types are open, though!! i'm willing to take on just about anything

Week-Long Vacation Coming Up!
General | Posted 11 months agook so as the title says, in mid january (10th-17th) i'm taking a break from art. my boyfriend is flying in from california and i want to spend all the time in the world with him while he's here for a week.
i'm gonna be posting a lot of ychs once the new year hits to help cover some of the costs (we're going on a mini road trip, we're gonna go to a club event, etc) so expect those!! i have a few already drawn, just need to list em, just workin out a price!
i will NOT be drawing the entire time he is here with me. again, i want to just spend as much time with him as physically possible.
i may also be a bit hard to reach a few days after he flies back to california, as last time he was here, him leaving really hit me hard. i'll probably be working on art, just not really up for much interaction with anyone i don't consider close.

- my boyfriend is coming in less than a week!!! he's flying in for 4 days so i will NOT be online posting those days!!!! all art-related questions and business will be resumed after he flies back to his state

Emergency Moving | Need $1k ASAP | COMMISSIONS OPEN
General | Posted a year agoHey y'all. I know this is really sudden but I am desperate.
My current living situation is garbage. My roommate is toxic and won't listen to me, thinking he owns the house. I've been trying to work it out with him for months, but nothing is working. I have now realized I just need to move. I can't keep living in a place this toxic for my mental health. It's bringing up past living situation issues and I need out.
The issue? I'm broke. I need $1,000 in order to sign a lease for a new place. It is very sudden, and while I would have been able to afford it if I didn't have to pay rent this month, I have to pay rent this month. With both, I just can't afford it. But I need to leave this place. I am aiming for June 1st being my move out day, but I still need the money ASAP.
Because of this, I'm offering all commission types. Quick turnaround times, either CashApp (which is HEAVILY preferred) or PayPal, hell even Ko-Fi. I'm also accepting donations, but please don't feel obligated to donate. I'd much rather take on commission clients.

Emergency Commissions OPEN - Discounted prices

I had to put my 2 weeks in at my old weekday job at the beginning of August due to my mental health tanking there. My time was not respected, I was not respected, and one of my coworkers you basically had to constantly walk on eggshells around and I eventually broke down.
The good news is I have another job I'm starting. The bad news is that I don't start until the 8th of September. This leaves me with 2 weeks (My last day at the old job was a bit ago) without a consistent paycheck, maybe more since the job pays bi-weekly.
I'm surviving on my weekend job (Which doesn't give me many hours, I work about 14-16 hours a week there) and commissions. I'm trying to do Instacart but it's super fucking slow and it takes forever to get a batch that's not putting you at a loss. I am barely making $50 a day. This is not sustainable.
Because of this, I'm opening emergency commissions. 10% off any of my commissions, whether it be a reference sheet or an icon!
Any takers would be massively appreciated, as I'm gonna do my best to stay afloat in September but it's looking rough. Donations are also appreciated but please don't feel pressured.

Car Battery Died - Taking on multiple commission slots!!
General | Posted 2 years agoMy car's battery died on me this week on Wednesday, and while I was able to jump start it and get home and then the next day get to the mechanic, it's in the shop. I won't get my car back until early/mid-week this coming week, hopefully by Tuesday.
It's a faulty battery, and will luckily not cost an insane amount to replace, but it is putting a big dent in my emergency fund.
I want to make this clear, I *CAN* cover this with what I have in my emergency fund luckily, I'm very blessed to be able to have the funds needed for this abrupt emergency, but it is putting quite a big dent in it.
Because of this, I'm taking on commissions to beef up my emergency fund to something where I feel at least comfortable with again. I don't want to call this an emergency, but it would be greatly appreciated if I had a few slots filled, as I want to be able to cover an emergency like this in case it happens again. I was not expecting this, but again, I'm very lucky I have a semi-decent emergency fund with enough to cover my car's battery dying.
Especially with having to ride the bus and train to work, along with Ubering here and there when the buses/trains don't run at a time when I go to/get off work, my emergency fund is dwindling low. I want to put a couple hundred dollars more into it so I feel secure. I have enough groceries, I was very lucky that my coworker's roommate drove me to Trader Joe's yesterday so that I could be well stocked in case I don't have my car back for a bit. I have the groceries I need for at least a two weeks, so I'm fine in that area as well.
All types are open, if you're interested in anything, now would be wonderful! Auction YCHs that have not been claimed will be sold at the SB price for flats. This is only valid if the YCH is under 1 year old.
Would prefer to take on a couple smaller commissions, as I'm INSANELY stressed with my car and working both my jobs. Smaller commissions are just easier for me, but I'm willing to take on bigger ones as well!

I'm balancing a lot on my plate currently, having left a toxic job, starting two new jobs, while also balancing my current weekend job.
Because of this I'm only taking on simpler commissions that I know I can finish in a timely manner along with having the energy to actually do the commission.
I might consider taking on other commission types but I'm probably not going to, depending on where I stand with my free time.

Car Troubles - Commission Deals

I'm having some car troubles. Water is pooling in my (carpeted) back seat floors, and I think I know exactly what is going on. Problem is, well, with holiday shopping, my yearly bloodwork, and medical debt, I'm left with less than I would ideally like to have to be able to get this fixed.
It could very well cost almost $300 dollars to get this problem fixed from what I'm seeing online. I'm talking to my mechanic when I wake up tomorrow, just to get an estimate as to how much this all will cost to fix if they can give me an estimate. Of course this happens right around the holiday season, where I need to drive more due to working more and also visiting my partner and his husband so I don't spend the holidays alone.
I love my car. I try and take such good care of it so I'm panicking at the fact that this could take a bit to fix if my mechanic cannot see me right away. I still need to get to work, get groceries, and get medication.

General | Posted 3 years agoHi! This is a little update.
Because of the holidays, I will be taking 3 days off from owed commissions this week. This is because I will be at work all day, drive up to see my partner, and then while I usually have Friday off, I will be working at one of my day jobs just this week because it is mandatory for everybody to work Black Friday.
Because of this, I will be working on commission this weekend. I normally do not work on owed art on the weekends, but due to the fact I'm taking 3 days off from my usual art time, I figured this was best.
During Christmas week, I will be taking Christmas Eve, Christmas, and the day after Christmas off as well. Maybe another day or two but it's a little too far in the future to know for certain yet. I'll most likely be doing the same thing then, working on owed art on a weekend so I can catch up.
This is also a yearly reminder that I raise my commission prices at the end of the current year/beginning of the new year. If you wanted to commission me for anything while at the current price it's at, now is the time to do it. I recommend you grab a slot before mid-December as the end of December is gonna be jam packed for me and my commission slots will be limited.
Any commission slots paid for on January 1st, 2023 or later will be at the new price. If you want to lock in your slot, please pay before January 1st.

I have decided I will not work on commissions on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm debating on taking off Tuesdays as well, but Wednesday I'm 50/50 on working on commissions then. I'll probably work on commissions on some Wednesdays.
I'm taking my studying more seriously, and this *does* mean that my turnaround time is gonna be a little longer for art, but I really do need to make more time to study and also build up inventory for my upcoming small shop.
