I'm sort of thinking of making something animated, but with round 1's delays I can't fully promise that idea will come to pass. I will try my best however. And I will deliver something better than round 1's attempt.

By the by, the character for this round is Lunette V. Chaunteau. (Luna as she is more commonly known as) Figure it's time to put the big bad wolfess into a... Better, more subservient mindset.


Round 3 will be coming tomorrow. Gonna do something a little different by splitting the themes between two characters this time. Visor & Dance featuring character 'A' or Paw & Ping for character 'B'. Like with previous entries, the character will be revealed after the vote.

Ok. so I hope this is fairly legible because I practicaly can't see out of my right eye and my left is somewhat intermittent.

Allergies are really hitting hard. I am taking meds for the conjuctivitis it causes but they aren't working well. Gonna see the doctor and get something that works better but that still leaves art as a problem. Basically, I can't draw currently. Sure, illness is no excuse for delays but it does leave me with a problem and two possible solutions.

Solution A - Wait a day or two to see if my vision clears up a bit, fill my upload this weekend with backlog and finish the first hypno artwork to deliver halfway through next week.

OR

Solution B - Push it back a week, lower the number of art to 3 rounds and take time to recover.

It generally annoys me when only a single part of my body is on the fritz like this. I guess, bare with me for a bit and I'll try my best to get back on track asap.

I'm looking into a few ways of how to tackle this unholy matrimony, Kinda excited to try a smooth glossy look too. Never really tried it out. Not sure if it's going to be full body latex and mask, cutouts or what just yet. But... If you have any suggestions, drop em below!

I have been hard at work making adjustments on my plans for November. Turns out if you hit it with a pipe wrench hard enough, even ideas change shape. I should hit things more with my pipe wrench...

Gone is the whole suggestion idea. Well kinda. Instead, I'm going back to a tried and true method: My voting system. Been a while since we went all democratic hasn't it? perfect for bringing back a missing theme too!

How it's gonna work

Each week of november will have a vote at the start of the week. To decide which how the next week's artwork will take shape. You'll get to decide the theme out of 4 choices, all with direct or an additional hypnotic flavor. You won't know which character the artwork will be centered on either. That will be revealed alongside the winning vote. I will admit, I will be putting forward some of my unorthodox, less hypno inclined characters to add some... Flair!

*Achoo!* Ugh. Don't you just hate it when you have one of those weeks where it's like everything happening at once? Allergies, important life responsibilities, the ever present existential horror you keep locked in the basement that poses a severe unalive risk demanding a daily virgin sacrifice... You name it.

I'm gonna take it easy and post my backlog this week. Still got a few pieces to go, especially my personal fave of the bunch. I still need to make preparations for November, and I have a few halloween ideas I'd like to try out. Sorry for the kinda lazy week this week.

Ok, time for some retrospective. Never before tried my hand at ych auctions, and rightly so. I probably should have kept to just one, I blame ambition. Overall, its pretty much 1:1 on the win / fail of the auctions I posted. Still, surpassed my expectations! Definitely learned a few lessons in doing so. I think, the next time I run an auction I will definitely be capping the price with an autobuy. Trying to make an artwork worth a $50 bid is... Stressful. Even more so when you actively believe your art devalues the medium it's on. Second, I need to really put time and effort into a ych. The complete failure of the second one more or less put the idea of a third into question and I ultimately decided that idea wasn't worth money. I need to make things appealing if they are to become a ych. And those interested in my work are a tough crowd to please. Simply put, I must be better. Thank you to those who showed interest! Hopefully, next time will be that better.

Anyway, November. Hasn't there been a certain genre of art missing from my gallery this year? There's only a single artwork I made this year in it so far. I'm sure there's a few of you who are feeling a little starved at the lack of hypno content, right?

In keeping with trying new things, I'm going to be doing something a little different for hypnovember. Something that's actually at a very high risk of failure. Simply due to the lack of interaction with journals. Yes, this whole idea literally hinges on your input. Simply put. this yeen will be front and center under your control for a series of hypno themed artwork. You as a collective get to decide what happens to me! Whether I end up as a faithful drone or someone's pet is entirely up to you. And both could happen!

Breakdown: I post a journal and you get to suggest 1-5 word suggestions of what happens in the next artwork. It's all hypno themed! So if you want a drone for the next art then a drone you shall have! It will go by the most popular suggestion. Unfortunately I don't have the cadence for 100 ideas or so. If need be, I can start votes with some preset ideas, but that's more an emergency switch than anything.

Another reason I'm letting you in on the idea early, is to hear if you have better ways of conducting this. Like I said before, lack of interaction with journals is a major issue with how this will work. Any suggestions are more than welcome in the comments.

First art in this series will post around the 1st of November. Just a simple... 'induction' to get things started.

I'll be honest. I'm courting danger with my October ideas. As someone who hopes everything goes unhindered but also spends the monthly budget on the fire suppression system, I'm taking a risk trying something new.

Without further ado (and anxious rumination) I present October's art plan: Haunted House Tour

Each and every year, the Chaunteau manor opens it's finely aged oak doors to the public as part of the annual pinewood mills Halloween fair. And what better haunted house than a labyrinthine manor owned by werewolves, wiccans and home to other horrors. This year, we thought it would be good to add a few lucky visitors to the exhibits perma- Ehm. I mean... 'allowing our guests to take part in interactive exhibits.' That's... that's what the script says.

I'm planning a series of four ychs. I was hoping to have them all ready to show but I only have the first one ready to go. look, my brain doesn't work well without a character to design a scene around.

All of these will be available as an auction. Starting at $5 with a free nude alt available at $15. Unfortunately, these are designed for characters with breasts and a feminine look. Intersex characters are welcome. I don't like being restrictive on this front, but I work better on feminine anatomy and I don't want to disappoint by delivering an anatomical mess for masculine characters.

Anyway, let's take a tour through the exhibits.

Exhibit 1 - Haunted shrine

The floors of this painfully recreated shinto shrine were once diligently swept clean by the tails of a dutiful kitsune. Ages have passed since she was last seen and since then, this place has decayed into a den of demons and rot. Yet, some powerful talismans still remain. You will need them if you aim to continue further in this haunted house. Will you be successful? Or will you become an Oni’s plaything?

Exhibit 2 - Egyptian Tomb

This pharaoh's tomb has been sealed for millennia. This former ruler of upper Egypt was a devout follower of Anubis. And the path out of this haunted house walks directly through a recreation of their tomb’s central antechamber created using archaeological LIDAR scans. Will you survive its curses? End up in the British museum, or will you bargain with Anubis for your life in exchange for eternal servitude?

Exhibit 3 - Jungle Sacrifice

How good are you with a machete? You might need to hack through some plants. It’s a jungle in here! We let some of the plants from the botanical conservatory take root here. It's a tad overgrown. Buuut, I’m sure it's fiiiinne… What do you mean the Venus Fox-Trap germinated in here…? And what do you mean the weed killer was radioactive!? Quick! Shut it down!! Shut it down no- Oh… Too late…

Exhibit 4 - Mad Magician

Welcome all to the finale of our haunted house. A magic show by the one, the only… Hex the hyena! You have braved demonic kitsunes, dead pharaohs and defeated the very rare and expensive, venus fox trap in single combat. I have the keys out of this haunted house but first we need to put on a show for all the monsters of pinewood mills to see! So come, my dear assistant. Stay a while and perform for me…

Ok, so that whole loretember biz? Fission mailed. Besides, I'm not known for my writing or much else really. The September idea as a whole is kind of a last minute thought anyway, I've been far more focused on what I'm planning to do for October and November. So instead I'll just use September as my catch up. Still got a lot of stuff to post, err... No promises on quality or desired themes.

Enough of that for now. I'd like to hear some opinions. And I'd really appreciate hearing what you have to say.

So, those of you who buy ychs from artists, do you prefer participating in auctions or buying something flat price?

Been seeing an uptick of auctions in my own browsing. I personally prefer not having to compete with others in auctions. Especially since I cannot hope to compare to someone who's finances are in USD so I typically choose flat priced stuff. Mainly because I'm a foreigner. Anyone else experience my pain?

September rapidly approaches. And we're nearing the annual, traditional 'embers, 'tobers, 'oweens and 'mas's.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's all those monthly art themes like hypnovember and such. The stuff that will really stretch you thin if you want to catch them all... Anyway, things are changing when it comes to how I will run these month things. instead of it being: achieve all on the list, it's going to be what I aim to do but might not accomplish everything.

Why? Because it takes a lot out of me to work on things. razor thin schedules, approval chasing, and failing to appease everyone and everything was why I decided to take a break earlier. In truth, initially I wasn't planning on coming back. So in returning, I've chosen to do things differently. I'm done actively catering for others. I had my chance to make it, took it, and ultimately failed. So I don't really care if you like what I'm doing or not. There's no longer anything at stake.

Anyway, enough of that. Here's what I'm thinking of doing for September something I call... Loretember! It sounded cooler in my head.


Last year, we had 'Hextember', Well, this year we have Loretember. I think I figured out what was missing in my craft. Pretty much everything I've built up on was made with the spirit of testing the limits, pushing the boundaries and doing the previously impossible. Look, I'm just a loser with a drawing tablet. But I'm a loser who decided to prove herself wrong and taught herself how to 'draw' despite however flawed that might be. Pushing the bar is how come I'm here.

And that's why for September, I'll be focusing on writing and worldbuilding. It's time to push the bar when it comes to writing. I have a 'closed' species I want to develop and build, plus I have extra lore for a new character to put together as part of my pinewood mills worldbuilding stuff. So yeah, September is oops all writing for the most part. But expect some pics as I continue to catch up.

Ah... Light switch. My beloved, where have you been...

What has it been. Two... Nearly three months? Did you put on a pound, light switch? Or you just happy to see me. Light switch, you must be asking. What have I been doing? Well! You see, my dear controller of lights. I have been busy. Behind the scenes away from my dear, faithful light switch, I have been amassing a small collection of artwork to post. Truth is, light switch, I never really gave up and pursued other projects, well... I'd be lying if I said that, more like I did a few minor vrchat projects and had to wait for a delayed delivery to start miniature painting again, But I never did stop making art. Even managed to experiment with some different things.

Oh, you won't find any of those to your liking, light switch. No... It's not what used to get posted here after all! But then again, you are a fictional light switch that I have personified for the sake of making this journal entertaining so... Perhaps! You might~

The first one after all is a belated pride month icon. Yes, I know, light switch. It's apparently 'illegal' to post pride month art outside of pride month. But we'll keep that to ourselves won't we? Just like the money laundering, femboy trafficking and arms dealing that goes on in the backroom. You know what happens to light switches that talk.

Anyway, that will be coming... Tomorrow. After all, I'm tired and this light switch bit has gone too far lol! And yes. I'm back!

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm also going to freshen up my gallery a bit. Move some of the better works out of the scrap heap and into the main gallery. Might consider posting some missing alts too.

Y'know, things haven't really been right since the last time FA went down. Eyes on my work kinda fell off a cliff after the site came back online. I sort of just chalked it up to the backlog of stuff other artists were squeezing through the upload system. But... Reality is my work has just become uninteresting. My wants and desires for variety likely meant those that followed me for a specific theme of art just got bored and left. Should have spec'd everything into vore or something.

Either way I think I should step back and pursue something else for a while. I was never really meant to be here anyway. I'm just a loser who bought a drawing tablet on a whim. And worse thing's worse, it's out of warranty and well beyond refunding. Maybe, I'll come back with renewed ideas. Maybe, I'll forget how to draw. I'm not one for predicting futures so we'll see what happens.

I call it... Warpaints! A bit of rebellion and anarchy mixed with pride. Sort of that whole stand up for what you believe in kinda deal. Lots of paint, pride flags and color. It will be featuring as many of my Lgbtq+ characters as I can fit. And I'm thinking up a sort of wanted poster style head/bust ych.

Yeah, I'm not even sure I'll get the idea off the ground, but hey. Maybe somebody will take an interest.

To be honest, Constance is a sentimental character of mine. I've had her for years and sadly the original artist who created her design is no longer with us. I've drawn her a few times over the years. But none have really done her design appropriate justice. Hopefully, this time will be different. This art piece will also be that nude sfw. Y'know, the boobs but no nips kinda thing? I wanna be respectful and not overly fetishy that the macro / micro group are likely thirsting over.

Got two different things I wanna try, one being male characters- my boys are severely lacking in artwork, and of course I want to do something with the girls- think stylized billboard posters. Constance is a special fox. In truth, she wasn't a fox at all before. Simply a practicing nun in a backwater convent. That is, until the Vatican came calling. They needed someone truly devout for a special, undercover project. Someone... Who no one would notice had gone missing. Implanted with a holy relic, imbrued with holy magic... Constance was led on a path that would ultimately lead her becoming a goddess in her own right. Now, this holy kitsune makes her way across the planet. Her holy followers parading behind their patron. Those who gaze upon her, gaze upon utter beauty. Soon they too will leave their concrete cites behind, devoutly following her into eternity...

Chaunteau holdings and enterprises make many investments to grow their wealth. One in particular is the funding of an extra large, 'Leviathan' class ocean mammal habitat at a local water park and aquarium. There, they intend to host a newly discovered macro-aquatic mammal, dubbed the "Creature of the Great Lakes" Little is known about this giant cetacean except... For it's love of showing off in front of the habitat livestream cams...

Ah... tis the time when we remember the time the easter bunny was crucified and resurrected 3 days later to lay painted chocolate eggs across the world... Consumerism has it right.

In all seriousness though, this month is all about the holy cult holiday of Easter. In all it's forms! I am no longer religious anymore, but I did grow up in a religious family. So it would be rude not to acknowledge that side of this holiday season with some kind of artwork. Without further ado, here's what is planned for April~



Lufelxi Lorebook

Yes. I'm still not over this idea. I really want to try out some writing. It's been something I have been plotting out in my spare time, but I decided I'd make it a full project even though likely it won't be well received by my audience. I'm aiming to at least get part one of the overall project being the lore done, but if I have time I will start on the free to use base to make your own of this species.

Holy Goddess

I bet I haven't introduced you to Constance yet. She's a kitsune (unsuprising) But a Holy one! Now, I'm not really into the whole Macro / micro scene (blame a few youtube vids on why godzilla wouldn't actually survive) But It's been on my mind to draw Constance as a beautiful, big, goddess standing over a city. Either way a good use of perspective and a nice compromise for the traditionalists this easter~

On a distant backwater planet, a private pharmaceutical company has found the unthinkable in their cosmic search for panacea. One of the first intelligent life encountered beyond our solar system. Official researchers have been dispatched by the Global Space Authority (GSA) to take things over from the private sector surveyors and begin cataloging these strange cat-like tribal aliens... (This is my original species project. which is a two-part thing, both a lore & species introduction as well as a free to use base to make your own Lufelxi.)

I have officially opened / re-opened commissions. I'm going to take only a handful of consecutive slots to begin with, to see how I handle myself with the pressure. But either way they're here to stay for as long as I'm able to continue making art.

My tip jar (also known as FA's shinies system) is also open! Had to sub to FA+ junk in order to make it pocket change prices. Sorry FA, but $5 is a $5 note and therefore not pocket change. (which ranges from $1 to 10 cents) Still, if you feel like throwing me a Soul as it's affectionately named, I will be absolutely grateful! I do plan on having some sort of milestone thing like a raffle or something depending on how many souls I CoNsUmE Err. 'earn'

I've returned from my shortish break. Taking some time off to think things over was kinda therapeutic I guess. Think I might be adverse to failure, which probably says nothing good for me as a person. It likely stems from my upbringing and overall path in life. Failure was costly as a kid growing up and my entire adult life has been failing forwards through time. Can't catch a break in anything I do.

Still, life goes on. And I'm determined to improve my art. It's become a part of me that is integral to my tolerance of this personal hell I've been born into.



As for this month, it's time for some personal projects. I wanna try my hand at making up some lore for my custom alien species, the Lufelxi and also turning them into an open species with a free to use reference base. Might even try doing a brief on a world building project of mine... in other words, I'm gonna be trying out writing this month.



I'm also reopening my commissions and shinies donation system. Comms were open for a short time in the background with out any sort of announcement but I had to close them up. And the shines are simply a tip jar. And yes. I did have to sign up for FA+ in order to lower the tip price down from $5 to $1. FA staff, why do I have to sign up for your premium junk in order to be humble? Eh, whatever... Keep an eye out for the full announcement post for openings!

I'm gonna call the end to this month early and take a little bit of a break to reflect on things and clear my head a little. I'm just not feeling artsy at the moment. And it shows in my recent artwork... Maybe I had too higher expectations of myself or I set the bar too high and ended up flying into the sun- idk. I wouldn't call this an art block because I still want to create things, maybe burnout? How can you burn out of a thing you enjoy...?

Either way, I think if I attempted the next artwork in the list, I'd make a mess of it. And that's not something I want to do nor do I want to disappoint people who were looking forward to it. Doesn't mean it's not going to get done- I just prefer to be in a better mindset and give it a proper shot sometime else when I'm ready.

Anyway, I have many non visual creative projects to occupy myself with. Got to write some lore on my 'custom' species (it's technically a closed species but whatever, I don't plan on it being a psudeo-gacha like some treat theirs.) Also been failing my way through unity and sfm. Learning how textures work, 3d posing and how annoying adobe is with it's proprietary files. Might share some of what I've done, nowhere near the even the amateur 3d artists but hey... To me, it's a bit more braindead than drawing and that's exactly what I need.

Sorry, I really feel like I've let everybody down by doing this... But everyone hits their limit and just needs to cool down once in a while right? I'll be back in rhythm in a week or two~

TLDR - Small update, signs of activity, etc.

I may have slightly lost my mind the past two weeks working on my next 'major' artwork, but I'm pleased to say that through irritated eyes and stress headaches... I have completed my succubus artwork. So after my well deserved 1 minute long R&R session I'll have it packaged up and ready to post this coming... Friday-Saturday. Basically the usual time.

In all honesty, I feel mixed on it. Bit a little more than I could chew doing a fullbody group pic. Hell, I spent the first week redoing the line art 3 times over. It's got the essence of something good but... Eh, I shouldn't be the one to pass judgement on it.

I'm doing something a little different this set- Including sketch, lineart and flatcolor sections in an edited form ( Just a few measures to prevent it from being stolen or repurposed ) to sort of show off a little of the behind the scenes, and the pain efforts I go through to make something you can enjoy and I can be content with.

I'm also still going ahead with selling some of my older unused character designs I mentioned in a past journal. I just haven't gotten around to making the ad for that... (Don't worry, I'm looking at the firing squad while writing this) They're mostly old designs for character ideas of mine that have been replaced with more fitting designs so I have no need of them nor should they go to waste on my hdd.

I'm also considering an alternate resale method aimed more towards artists. Err, you'll understand the how and why when I post the ad. This week (I'm so gonna eat my words...)
