HELLO. YES. I AM ALIVE.

I haven't been very active on FA and I apologize for that. Life's been busy and I've been in hiding tbh. I haven't been great with keeping in touch with people but I really do want to change that.

Anyways, here's a quick rundown on the past year + since I've been gone from FA.

I HAD A KID! WOO. I had a boy named Finn in April 2016 ON MY DAMN BIRTHDAY. jerk. He's pretty great though! You should follow me on twitter @ hyenabooty to see some pics and follow his shenanigans. He keeps me super busy though so I haven't had a whole lot of time for things? I can only work on art at night but I honestly don't want to do art often cause I'm tired from keeping him busy and entertained that I just wanna play WoW all night lmao BUT I've been working on things I can do during the day so just keep an eye open for new stuff c:

I MOVED. We moved from Germany to Washington state back in February! It been crazy and yes, I still have things in boxes. Almost all through it though I swear.

I STARTED SCHOOL AGAIN. This time though I'm going for something I grew a passion for when living in Germany and that's to become a dog trainer c: So yeah! I started that last month! So far doing great!

So yeah. life has been insane.

Hey folks

I just wanted to stop in here and give people an update if they don't follow me on Twitter or anything. I've announced this on twitter a couple weeks ago but Ive been off FA so it kinda slipped my mind to let people know here.

Anyways; the reason I wasn't feeling good and exhausted before is that and myself are expanding our family! Yeah I'm pregnant. I'm currently 18 weeks and 5 days! As of the last appointment everything is going smooth. Not 100% on gender cause apparently it's very camera shy lmao but they're thinking it's a boy c: next appointment is on the 10th of Dec. Yes- this was a planned thing. Crush and I had been trying for over a year honestly but I have a hormone issue so it made things tough. But hey! We did it! Hey guys- Im currently making up a plan to attempt to finish a few things.

I'm hoping I get my last few things done this week. After that- some projects will be dropped, mostly projects that I hadn't received payment for or part payments. I'll be contacting people though.

I've been having some medical issues the past few weeks that have left me not wanting to do much of anything. I literally tend to be a blob most my day and it really blows. I'll go into more detail eventually but for now I'm gonna just relax the best I can. I'm hoping that the drop in temperature wednesday will help me feel better.

Im planning though to go on another hiatus and honestly this may be the last one. I might not come back as an artist when I'm done with my break. I don't think it was something I was meant to be. It's painful and stressful for me. But I might have a change of heart after being gone.. not really sure what the future holds.

I'll keep people updated. Thank you everyone for being understanding.

Sorry for those that have been waiting for their art this week.

Life was very stressful this past week and I need a few days to relax and get back on track.

Man. Life is dumb.

Ive had a real lack of motivation these past few days but man the weather here has sucked.

Its not even august and its been raining and cloudy all day- typical southern germany fall weather :c its also already getting cold again. Summer was only a few weeks long lol

Does the weather effect anyone else's mood?

Hey everyone!

Just wanted people to know that our dog Ben is back home after his procedure for his teeth.

Everything went well and thankfully he did not have to get any teeth removed. He had his gums and teeth cleaned really well and they removed some of the infected area. So he's mouth kinda bleeds but he's on pain medicine and antibiotics to help it heal. He'll go for a follow up appt on Monday or Tuesday.

The root of the infection is still unknown but a sample has been sent off to a lab to see. The vet thinks maybe he had chewed on a stick and a piece broke off into his gums and caused the infection. But like I said- we will know more later.

It was super sad though because Top, a lab mix, was with him at the vets cause our dog park group is the same 7-8 dogs and they are a pack. So while Ben's sedetive was kicking in- Top laid with him and licked his face ;3; it was so sweet. I wanted to cry so bad.

Thank you to everyone that helped spread the word of everything for his bills. I still need to make some more to help cover the bill so i'll have some more adoptables up when I finish my current to-do list.

When it rains it pours I guess.

My dog is far more important than anything and he needs help.

We went swimming in a lake this past Saturday then yesterday his mouth didnt look great on the right side. Today its obvious that its an infection. He has a vet appointment tomorrow but I need help. Money is tight and Im looking at about $500 possibly in vet bills and medication for him.

So we have this little Audi A3 and recently its been having a lot of issues with starting and jerking when it shifts gears.

Got it hooked up and turns out some things are busted- most expensive thing seems to be our timing sensor is dying. On top of that it needs a transmission flush. Which is all very pricey. With me still unable to find a job I need to do what I can to help.

And only thing I can do is art here.

the past month or two i've been trying to get back into artwork. I find it pretty tough to finish anything big for myself so Ive kinda hit a road block recently.

would anyone be interested in a free headshot or icon type thing?

IDK im trying to get outta my funk and its been really tough. Been feeling very alone in life lately. depression + living away from everyone i know + not having much of any contact with friends is just.. wearing on me so much mentally. I dont wish this feeling on even my enemies. Feeling this alone is the worst.

Hope everyone on my watch list is doing ok though <3 tell me how life is.

I know its been a while since I've given an update. So here it is.

As some kinda know, I go through spells of depression. It basically makes me not want to do much but sit here and play video games all day. Or I wander around the house and clean randomly. It's been tough to really sit and feel like its worth it for me to do art. I get these random bursts where I just wish my art was better and I dont know how to achieve that. Its rough.

Its also rough cause my depression effects my social skills (or lack there of).

I want to talk to people and meet new friends but I tend to hide away. Which only makes the depression worse. Crush has a lot of work stuff this year. Hes been gone for a week and wont be back for another 2. Then he comes back for a week and leaves again :C I'm pretty alone.. I refuse to talk to any other army wife here because most I've run into are so stuck up and entitled.. I dont fit in with that crowd. I like to just hang out and play video games and talk about nerd stuff! Not what name brand purse you bought with your husbands paycheck...

But the past few days the spark is... slowly coming back. I just need to keep fighting and move forward.

Commissions are staying closed because I want to get better. Im stubborn so I will do this. I will also try to finish the last two on my list shortly <3

Just FYI, I have updated my to-do list.

Im going to try and finish things by Wednesday.

After that I am taking a break from commissions and YCHs. Going to focus on personal growth and developing more art stuff as a hobby.

Still battling with my laptop also so I really want to wait on art until I have a new computer.

We think my RAM is dying :C

My computer is just a laptop and I have to use it frequently so I guess it was only a matter of time ;3; Poor thing.

I need this dumb thing to last another few months before we can get me a new one so fingers crossed..

Im going to be wiping my computer of most the art files I have later on today or tomorrow.

PLEASE NOTE: I will not be able to make changes to old pieces due to this. I have thousands of .sai files eating up my computer. They are all going to be deleted!!

No, Im not getting rid of pieces I need to work on so dont worry about that!

But in order for me to get the rest of my list done I need to clean up my computer! It literally runs so slow and choppy that it just frustrates me beyond belief. On top of that it makes my SAI freeze and I lose all progress v___________V Not fun.

I'm going to be cleaning up my laptop today then working on the YCH and an icon later if all goes well!

Hey all <3

I officially got home Wednesday night but yesterday was kinda a blur of just sleeping, relaxing, and having our cats literally clinging to me all day.

Pretty badly jet lagged. I just want to sit here and stare at the tv forever xD;

So MFF.

Overall, it was okay. I say okay cause there were some bad parts and some good parts.

Obviously everyone has heard about what happened on Saturday night and that night will probably stick with me for a while. I had been asleep so I woke up to the terrifying voice that came on in the rooms only about there being an emergency in the hotel. I had no one in the room with me and no way to contact anyone cause they turned the wifi off. So I literally just grabbed a jacket and went to the staircase then outside. I had a tshirt, shorts, and a light jacket on. That was it. I got outside and just saw the lights and started to panic since I had no clue what was going on or where anyone was. Idk. I have a panic disorder and I was about to have a meltdown. Thankfully, right as I was about to breakdown, Papaya saw me and helped me calm down. I felt like such a baby but my panic just scares me. I went with Papaya to the Aloft where some people had a room and were nice enough to let us all stay to get warm. They left me wash off my feet since I hadn't had shoes on the whole time. Someone also gave me their shoes ;3; I really wish I could remember who it was that gave me the shoes.. He said they were just old work shoes but I still felt really bad to not get the info to give them back. Hopefully someday I can find them and repay them ; ; Ended up seeing Rhia, Ifus, and Xander in the lobby and went back to the main hotel with them.

Other than that, I had quite a lot of plans kinda fall through so I tended to be waiting for people only to not do anything. What can ya do though.

There was plenty of good though. I did get to see a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time and got to meet new people which is always fun <3 I went out and handed out candy canes in suit too! It was a good feeling cause I know it brightened some people's day. Also got most the American food I had missed xD

Suiting was also amazing. Its been a while since I've been able to and it was really nice to do again. If anyone sees any pictures of my suit, please let me know! I'll try to post some photos soon!

That's about all though! Typing this out from my phone but i'll try to get to my computer later and get to replying to people and maybe start some art things.

Just FYI to everyone that maybe hadn't seen, I am currently in the US. Not going to be in Germany for a week! I'll get back to things next friday!

I have one week before I leave for Chicago. Since things like badges are time sensitive- I'm focusing on getting a bunch of badges done before the con.
