Hey all; don't wanna be too long-winded about things, but it's been ages since I've made a new journal, and I really want to push my old one off my featured page. Brief update about what's going on with me and why I've been rather quiet:

Housing situation's been in a bit of a flux. I'm still staying with my folks, and probably will for the foreseeable future, but there's been a lot of relationship trouble that I've had to bear witness to. Never been a perfect household, but it's been pretty damn bad lately, and so I'm looking at some outs if I really have to. Either way, it's likely I'll be bouncing somewhere else sometime soon - whether that's with one of my parents, both, or neither, I can't quite say yet. I don't exactly know where I'll be ending up in the next few months. I'd like to try and make a move to Washington, and the temptation to simply pack up all of my electronics, hop into my car, and disappear has been more than a little tempting; we'll see!

I've started HRT since my last journal. Really, I started about six months ago - I've not exactly been super private about it. I've talked about it pretty consistently in a lot of my recent uploads, so I won't bore anyone with too many details - but the good news is that doing so has made me much, much happier. It has also made me far more creative, and it's been so much easier for me to express myself in the written word. To that end, I've been writing much more in general, too - vibrant, intimate, personal, and occasionally really kinky stuff. I'd really like to share some of that last part with some of you.

I'm going to try and make it a habit to upload far more of the stuff I've written - I'm hoping to have a rather personal TF story up sometime immediately after uploading this journal. A lot of it's really personal, but I've been learning to come out of my shell all over again, and I'm eager to share. I also intend to give my profile description a bit of a fresh coat of rather simplistic paint - it's pretty old, now.

I've not yet decided if I'd like to separate the stuff I've written away from any of the art commissions I've gotten - would it be better to do that via a folder, or through putting it all in scraps, vice versa? I'd love input on that.

The fairly-recent restrictions upon image resolution size has killed quite a bit of interest I once had in uploading to this website. For awhile, I treated FA as an alternative to Twitter where I could upload full-resolution files without Twitter's compression. Losing that functionality, it took me a bit of time for me to figure out what I wanted to do with this page.

Ultimately, I've decided that I'm unlikely to continue to upload every single piece I get and upload to Twitter; instead, FA will be a place for the commissions I'm most happy with. I don't upload much media to Twitter that is not art nowadays, so if the desire is there to see absolutely everything I get, that remains as an option.

Going forward, I intend to write short, descriptive stories for all of the images I put on here and treat FA as a "permanent" home for commission uploads that I think deserve it the most.

I'd love to hear any thoughts on this.

Just wanted to say that after falling behind on a lot uploads, I've gone ahead and set up some scheduled tweets over on my Twitter and some scheduled uploads here at home on FA. Hopefully this helps me keep better tabs on my commissioned work.

Just wanted to poll something for your FA folks a bit.

On Twitter, I upload sketches/smaller pieces I've commissioned, but sometimes feel like since they're not a "complete" piece, they don't belong here.

Is that sentiment shared by y'all, or should I upload the sketches anyway? Should I put them into scraps?

Recently moved apartments, so I've been kinda caught up. In the meantime, I've been kinda absent-mindedly dumping things here for a bit, but I've been trying to put together an upload-schedule.

I'll be trying to upload some more things coming up in the next few days, and for a few weeks going forward on-and-off.

As always, everything will be tagged and sorted into folders, so you can see only the stuff you wanna see from me.

I have a massive art backlog. I've been holding back on a lot of them because I wanted to write some lengthy descriptions, but I feel like perhaps that can be a little over the top.

Over the next few days, I'm going to uploading a good range of different stuff.

Things that are just sketches are going to be getting shorter descriptions, and things that are more full-fledged pieces are going to be getting beefier (heh) descriptions.

I wanted to go for a bit of change of pace and upload some of the SFW pieces I've gotten over the more recent years.

Sorry if you were only expecting porn, or something.

From now on, the things I post will be sorted first by character, and then by kink content, if any.

Hopefully this will help prevent you folks from seeing anything you don't want to.

With my first NSFW upload, over this weekend I'm going to be paving the way for more things in the similar vein.

My gallery will be sorted into different folders, revolving mostly around kink content.

Macro will still be the most prevalent thing here, but don't be surprised to see some fat/hyper things. Consider that a warning.

Do you guys particularly care if I keep my gallery mostly to SFW macro/micro stuff?

Or would you be comfortable seeing more extreme stuff like hyper?

I'd put them all in folders of course to organize it all, but it'd still show up in people's submission inbox.
