I had both a PC and a mac in my room, and while I mostly use the mac these days, the PC had a few things I couldn't convert over
namely my tablet
my copy of Paint Tool SAI
the compatibility with my scanner
things like that.
I could steal my brother's tablet to use during the day but I'm sure I should be focusing my attention on finding a job anyways.
It's a hundred times easier to just draw on paper
I sorely need the money, oh yes, I want a super awesome gaming/arting PC, a new tablet, a MacBook, not to mention I want to spruce up my room and maybe get some shelves... so maybe I'll have to get off my tooshie and get down to work.
I'm so scared though, maybe of responsibility, maybe of realising that my physical strength isn't that great
when I went to college it wore me down to quickly, I don't want to go back to being that fatigued hyperventilating mess.
But I need to make a start on my life.
I've been out of college for so long
but I can't help but feel scared.
A little for constant rejection, but partially because I don't want to take my body to its limits
Even now my body can hardly cope, I'm hurt so easily and I get tired from doing not much at all. Even my weekend job of a DJ is so hard sometimes, heavy equipment and all, I DJ'd two days ago and my legs are still wrecked.
not to mention mental health and shit too, I'm a lot better but I'm still petrified of social situations, no matter how many times I force myself into them. You'd think someone who does the music for parties and has to deal with clients on a weekly basis would get the idea of how to interact with other people

I've been into the whole Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom which has been fun, it started off as 'lol I really like reading bad fanfiction' and 'lol yugioh abridged' but idk I guess I get attached to the characters? -COUGHbakuraandmarik- Considering how old the bloody anime is, it's a bit strange. Last time I got this attached to an anime was when I was really into Gravitation and that was yeeeaaaars ago~ I'm even writing some fanfiction oh god
nonetheless it helps to focus on something that's not those nagging problems for me, and my psychologist told me drawing's pretty therapeutic for someone like me SO I guess I'll have to keep working at that! I'm enjoying drawing different things and I can't wait to get back to commissions C: I want to do the best I can before I get to that though, it's only fair~
speaking of which, he managed to give me the biggest mindfuck of my life and it feels wonderful because it gave me so much hope

I haven't been here for a while
but maybe I should say some things that have been happening
for a week and a half I was going insane, wanted nothing more than to tear at my flesh, I starved myself, I lost so much sleep, I drifted in the world like a zombie
for a week and a half I was more broken than I'd ever felt, I was so hurt I couldn't cry or unleash any feelings, I made my parents worry and I made myself weaker. I wanted nothing more than to fall off the face of the planet and considered how to go about it
'it's far too selfish' though, maybe it pays to be a pacifist, maybe it pays to consider peoples' feelings too much.
Something ended that needed to end but I was weak, there was no way I could deal with change in this state. I'm a lot stronger now, these things take time, the person I've been worrying for is now dead to me. It doesn't consume me as much as it consumed me back then, this was something that needed to happen, yes, but I wish it happened in another way. One that hurt ever so slightly less. Not like there's a way out of this that wouldn't hurt.
When someone's the center of your world you don't expect that to change oh so suddenly, you don't expect to be discarded once you aren't a good fuck anymore, you don't expect to suddenly see them not care about you in the slightest. That feeling is oh so familiar, the feeling of being rejected once again, the feeling of constantly being told 'you're not good enough for me, you're not good enough for anyone'
Once you're told these things time and time and time again for years and years it becomes a truth
look at me, twenty years old and going through all this teenage angst. Aren't I far too old for that? I never grew up with everyone else, I don't think I belong in the same time line. I feel like I'm too simple for someone my age, I feel like I have to force myself to belong to how old my body is.
I got so sick of living for that time, I wanted an escape. I tried to draw, I wanted to draw so badly, I couldn't, everything turned out rubbish and it made me want to scream just looking at it. I went back to studying Swedish but what's the point, everyone in Sweden speaks English anyway. Something I asked myself a lot was 'what's the point'. Life lost the point. I even went to Melbourne for an interview and one night that I was going to go out for I spent curled up hating myself so so much because I could run but there's no escaping emotions. The feeling that there is no end to anything like this. Feeling oh so dead, inside and out. Went for the interview, didn't get the job which is another issue, I need a job and it's so frustrating.

As for art, I'm doodling now, I'm trying to get drawings done and it's once again the recovery. I'm going to draw a lot on my tablet today and maybe I can get things done that I should have done a long time ago.
I'm ashamed, so ashamed of needing a psychologist, the thought there's something wrong with me mentally sickens me. But he's been so so helpful and I'm getting better and better so much faster. He says it's Social Anxiety, makes perfect sense. I'm so bad around people, even on the internet but especially my physical friends. 'What to say next, how to approach you, how to interact, how to get beyond basic conversation, how to not be so concerned with others' opinions, how to stop people walking all over me.' I've got a long way to go but things are always getting better. And now I have hope, things are finally getting better, a lot better. I'll love myself yet, I need to give it time. I have hope now, I haven't felt like I had hope like this for the longest time.

so I better get a job soon and help the fuck out 8D jeepers doesn't seem like I'll be around as much as I'd like but that's life~ I'm looking forward to starting my life, at the moment I'm aiming high

I started college on Monday. It's an hour and a half travel either way. I have no time much at all to draw, and the time I'm at home I'm exhausted and weak.
But let me tell you, for this sort of experience I'd do almost anything. It's incredible how much information I'm taking in every day. For the longest time it seemed like I was hardly doing a thing, and now it feels like I've got some purpose back. It's amazing~ I mean aside from the incredible motion sickness I'm getting to and from the place, that's kinda blah.

Backgrounds: You might have noticed, but I hardly ever have backgrounds. This means to say, I suck at them. The only way I can get them to look good is to spend hours upon hours fixing them up. That's why I charge a lot on them D: the price depends heavily on the type of background you want. Single coloured backgrounds are free but need to be requested, otherwise I'll make it transparent.

Nudidy: Tasteful nudity I have no problem with drawing (no bits showing). Female nudity will probably cost 1 or 2 more dollars. Male nudity is where we have a a little bit of a problem and is about 1 or 2 dollars more, again, since well... to draw something you have to study it. NOT TOO FOND OF PENIS IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED. I will do it for the lulz though, I can't promise it'll be any good. Flat-out porn I downright refuse to do, gay straight or lesbian (and everything else you can come up with in this world) though I guess sexy cuddles are alright |D I prefer to keep it cute rather than lusty though

Multiple Characters: Two characters or more means that the price, not including any background price, is doubled. For example if you buy a Cartoony commission with two charcters then that would be $12 instead of the regular price of $6.

Detail: Perhaps you have a really detailed character, in this case I'd have to charge a little more. An overly detailed piece might cost up to $4 on top of what you already have, of course this would mean an insane amount of detail. I try to keep the price low and I'd always quote you the price~

Demand: It's simple, if a style I do becomes more popular and more frequently requested I have to put up the price D| I keep the changes to about a dollar though so it's not dramatic.
