Posted 8 years agoIn accordance with the retro theme of this year's Fur the More, I am posting the pre-con meme post-con.
Where are you staying?
Sheraton.
What day are you getting there?
Thursday afternoon.
Departure?
Monday afternoon.
Transportation?
Crux's car.
Who will you be rooming with?
Crux, Logan, Andrew. All good guys.
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
Anyone who wants to play games.
How many furry conventions have you attended?
This year's Fur the More will put me at exactly fingers+toes.
Will you be suiting?
No but I will wear my Mario PJs with a tail and ears to be Cat Mario.
Who do I address you as?
BGS if you only know me through cons, Seth or BGS if we have any other contact. Not that I'm secretive about my real name (I mean I just posted it here) but it's weird if you don't know me in a context where I'd use it.
How old are you?
39.
What is your gender?
Male, prefer "he" but "they" is okay too if you don't want to assume.
How tall are you?
5'11.
Are you taken? Are you looking for a 'mate'?
Very happily married to Crux, 5 year anniversary coming up in May. Not looking to hook up, either.

Can I touch you?
Generally yes, keep it appropriate and don't sneak up on me from behind, I had a heart attack in 2014 and don't react well to being startled.
How can I find you?
Mostly in the tabletop gaming room where I work, if I'm not there I most likely do not intend to be found at that time.
Can I visit your room?
*I'm* only even in my room to sleep, so not likely.
Can I buy you drinks?
I don't drink often but do use my voice a lot during cons so bring me a bottle of water. It's cheaper for you and I'll appreciate it more!
Are you nice?
I do my best to be, and ask that if I do say something you perceive as mean, please take me aside and tell me. I guarantee you it wasn't on purpose and that's how I can learn and grow.
Do you have an artist table?
I am not blessed with artistic talent.
Will you be going to parties?
Not really my thing, and I tend to be hosting a gaming event during typical night party hours anyway.
Will you be performing?
Does practicing for my men's chorus during downtime count?
Do you do drugs/drink/smoke?
I don't smoke or use recreational drugs. I drink very rarely and never more than one.
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
BGS! Or touch me on the shoulder (front or peripheral only, not if I'm not at least aware of your presence).
What/where will you be eating?
Any of the various places in walking distance of the hotel. There's a great selection within a block or two.
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc.?
If you want to walk along, sure. I tend to pick something up and bring it back to the gaming area though.
Can I draw in your sketchbook?
I don't own one.
Can I take your picture?
No problem.
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
If one attendee comes to me and says "thank you for _______," if I hear one person say "this is my favorite part of the con," if I know I helped someone have a good experience at Fur the More, I'm happy.

Video game room, or tabletop if I'm off duty (where I'm likely to be running a game anyway)
Are there any panels events you might be attending?
Probably not, too busy

Thirtysomething married white male suburban cis scum which I'm sure sounds REAL boring but hey, at least I have the decency to be gay
Will you be suiting?
No but I have a tail if I can remember to bring my one pair of shorts that has belt loops

I suffer from CDFS (can't draw for shit) so...no

No, but Friday and Saturday afternoons I'll have Magic the Gathering draft tables, and Sunday I'll be hosting the DDR tournament
Will you be going to parties?
Not interested in room parties, want to hit a dance for a while with what little free time I'll have

Video gaming, tabletop gaming, occasionally the Zoo

Local places rather than chains that we can get anywhere...there are tons of fantastic area restaurants
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
I don't know, I tend to prefer smaller mealtime groups, and I don't have the kind of patience it takes to get a dozen furries to a restaurant at the same time

I'm a boring watch and never post anything. But hi!
Posted 11 years agoHi, I exist! But I don't use this for posting much and more to see what other people are up to that I may not have other means of keeping in touch with.
Uh, let's see, oh this year CruxVV and I finally got legal gay married. So yay! And I made a pretty sweet Pendulum/Ellie Goulding mashup that I put on soundcloud.
And if anyone's geographically nearby and wants to visit me sometime DO IT, I've been recovering from a surgery and don't have a ton of energy to go places so I've been stuck at home all day erry day.
