Sorry for the absence but News
Posted 13 years agoWell, I'm not going to be able to do this without pissing some people off and I apologize for that.
Months ago I kinda ran away from this account after having a few issues that were pretty massive to me. The first being I wasn't using the character the way I intended him to be used. He's not my fursona or persona or whatever you want to call it. He's my hero character, my epic dude that kicks ass and takes names. Not fixing computers and being a dork. He's my James Bond, my Laura Croft, or my Nathan Drake. He's simple and has a defined purpose, he's got elements of me and such but I was honestly abusing him by getting commissions of him that weren't quite what he should have been used for.
Secondly I was getting some feedback that was off-putting from some people, ranging from bad feedback to really creepy stalker comments and bad vibes. It was an FA experience that I was not at all jiving with and it was then I decided to pull back from the FA community and look at a few things. I kinda did a re-invention of myself and let his fall off and to the wayside.
Fast forward to a few months from now and I've decided that Ian needs to be brought back into the fold, I'm proud of his design and the pieces I've gotten of him. I have half a novel written with him as the star and I really do plan on finishing it this year.
So, in short. I'm absolutely, super sorry I disappeared and flaked out on people. I'm sorry I didn't tell you what was happening with me and I'm very sorry for disappearing like that. I'm going to be cleaning up shop here and posting what I'd like to keep to my new account. I know I've talked to some of you under the guise of being a new person and I'm sure that's going to piss some of you off but I wasn't sure of how to re-introduce myself. Besides, most of you figured it out.
It is what it is and I'm sorry.
That's the new account. Ian's going to be hanging out there from now on.
